Holy Matrimony!
Ash continues his journey with Misty, Brock, Pikachu, Jovan, July, Anna, Seth, Slade, Eevee and their excellent two companions. But our heroes are about to be caught in a treacherous web.
It's a beautiful day out. Brock was carrying the mysterious egg in his arms. Jovan turns his head to the left and notice two Missing posters on a sign board.
"Check it out." Jovan said as they all stop and look at the board.
There were two pictures on the board. The first picture was James dressed up in fancy clothes as young boy. In the second picture was Sam who was also wearing fancy clothes too. But at the bottom left corner was a red heart.
"Is that...?" Misty wondered.
"It looks like..." Ash said.
"No way." Seth said.
"James and Sam?" everyone asked confused.
"You don't think these two have a twin brother, do you?" July asks her brother.
"Nope." Jovan answered. As they were looking at the missing sign, a blue limousine pulls up besides them. An old man steps out of the vehicle with a mega phone.
"Have you seen these two boys in the photos?" he asks them from the mega phone.
They all turned around and looks at him.
"Yes." Jovan said. "We've seen James and Sam from Team Rocket and Team Neo."
"Jolly good!" the old man cried with tears of joy. "Quick, to the estate!" The old man quickly shoves them all in the limousine and drove off.
Team Rocket and Team Neo comes out of the bushes. Jessie, Meowth, Libby and Justin walks over to the poster.
"Hm." Jessie said as James and Sam walks up to them. "These two boys look a lot like you."
"You think so?" James asked with sarcasm and looks at her. "He looks pathetic."
Sam looks closely at his picture and notices the red heart at the bottom left corner. "Where have I...?" Sam muttered, wondering where he seen that heart before. Then it hit him.
"Let's go investigate." Jessie said to her team as she ran off ahead with Meowth, Libby and Justin following her lead.
James sighed.
"James!" Jessie growled, running back to the two boys.
"What are you standing around here for?" Justin asks them.
Sam said nothing.
"Sam and I will stay here." James said.
"Oh no you won't!" Libby and Justin shouted.
Jessie and Meowth picks up James and ran. Libyy and Justin picks up Sam and ran after them.
The vehicle entered the estate. They've been driving for a half an hour now. Ash was sitting between Brock and Pikachu as Misty was sitting next to him. Jovan was sitting in between his sister and Anna while Seth and Slade sat across from them as Dragonair was sitting in the middle of the limousine as Eevee was sitting on July's lap.
"Pardon me sir, how much farther is this place?" Jovan asks the old man who was sitting across Ash.
"We're almost at the end of the driveway." the old man answered.
"Feels like we've been driving for a half an hour." Anna said.
"Look behind you." Seth pointed.
Jovan looks over his shoulder and notice a big house. "That's huge." Jovan said.
"I've seen shopping malls smaller than this." Brock said.
The limousine pulls up to the house. Everyone exits out of the vehicle and gasps.
"How many rooms do you think there is?" Anna wondered.
"Nice mansion." Jovan said.
"That is not the mansion!" the old man shouted, making everyone to cover their ears and turns around to looks at him. "This little dog house is for Growlie, the favorite Pokémon of James."
"Huh?" they all asked confused.
"To your right is the mater's mansion." the old man said.
Everyone turns their head to the right and saw the mansion. The mansion is much bigger than the dog's house.
"AHH!" they all groaned, falling to the ground.
The old man puts the mega phone down. "I am Hopkins." Hopkins said. "Please follow me." He walks up to the mansion.
Everyone looks at each other and follows him.
As the coast is clear, Jessie, Libby, Meowth and Justin poke their heads out above the bushes.
"Look at this place." Libby said.
"We're in the place of luxury." Jessie smiled as they look around except for James who stuck his head up and Sam was laying in the ground not saying anything.
"We've just hit bigtime." Libby and Justin sang in a sing song voice.
James had a worried look on his face.
Everyone entered inside the mansion. The room they were in was big. Across the room was two coffins laying down in a bed of roses.
"Was there a funeral here two hours ago?" Anna wondered.
There was painting hanging on the wall above the coffins. On the picture was James, his parents and Growlie.
"My master and mistress had only one child boy name James." Hopkins answered, looking at the picture. He turns around to look at them. "They passed away this morning and the estate is his."
"Huh?" they all gasps in shock.
"I can't believe this estate belongs to him now." Jovan said.
"And what about Sam?" July wondered. "How come Sam is missing?"
"Sam has ran away from home." Hopkins answered. "His parents were heart broken and passed away after a car crash. They passed away two years ago."
"Oh no." Seth said.
"And since his parents has passed away, he now owns his parents house." Hopkins replied.
Team Rocket and Team Neo were hiding in the next room above. Libby and Justin looks at Sam.
"Is that true, Sam?" Libby asks him.
Sam didn't say anything as he looks away from her.
"After James ran away, his parents lost the will to live." Hopkins said sadly, wiping his tear with a cloth.
"This is sad." Jovan said, looking down.
"I hope you can find James and Sam so you tell them about this real soon." Ash said.
"Real soon won't do!" Hopkins shouted through his megaphone. "James parents Will clearly states that master James must marry his finance in the next twenty four hours of their passing away. If not, the entire estate will no longer be his, but will be donated to charity. I must find him at once!"
As Hopkins left the room, everyone went outside. Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu sit on the stone steps as their friends stood across them.
"We should look for James and Sam." Jovan said.
"Why should we help them after everything those two done to us?" Misty asked.
"It's their last chance to say good bye." Slade said with his arms crossed over.
"Do you really think we can find them in one day?" Anna wondered.
"Then let's start looking." Jovan said. "The rest of us will look into the backyard."
Their friends watches them walks away and entered the backyard. There was a small pond with three Magikarp. The backyard was big too.
"Nice yard." Jovan said. "Now we need-" But he was interrupted by three voices screaming. Jovan looks up and Team Neo landed on him. "To get the medicine, Jenna." Jovan groaned.
"Sam!" July gasps.
"You need to visit your parents grave!" Seth exclaims.
Team Neo all stands up as Jovan got back onto his feet.
"I can't!" Sam protested.
Libby looks at Sam. "Look Sam." Libby said, placing her hands on her hips. "Something must be bothering you after we've came here."
"Why don't you tell us?" Justin asks him.
"Come on, Sam." Anna said.
"No!" Sam yelled as he started to run away. Justin ran quickly and tackles him to the ground as Libby walks over to him. "I don't want to! Not-"
"Will you stop?" Libby asked as Justin pulls him up. "It's not like you're going to see someone from your past."
"Time for you to get dressed as James Best Man." Justin smiled.
After they meetup with the others, James was wearing a nice, blue tux and pants. Sam, however, was wearing a black tux, black pants and black shoes with a nice black tie. Libby was wearing a nice pink dress. Jessie and Meowth were wearing their "invisible" disguises.
Everyone hid behind the bushes as Libby knocks on the door.
"You really think Jessie and Meowth will not be noticed?" July asks Anna.
"Who is it?" Hopkins asked, opening the door and looking at James.
Jessie was behind James while Meowth was moving James legs. "It's me, James." Jessie mimic his voice. "I've come back with Sam."
"Welcome home sir." Hopkins smiled.
Everyone groans as they fell to the ground.
"Your parents will be most pleased that you return." Hopkins said. "Please come in."
Everyone watch Team Rocket and Team Neo entered the mansion.
"Everything is fine now, masters." Hopkins said to the coffins. "Your little boy James is home, just as you wish."
"Mommy, daddy, it's true." Jessie mimic. "I've come home at last to get my money."
Hopkins looks at James in confusion.
Meowth kicks James to his knees as Sam bowed his head.
"I'm going to get married, just like you say in the will." Jessie said. "And I want cash, not a check."
"What's that?" Hopkins asked, leaning in to hear him better. Everyone peaks from the doorway.
"I'm only joking of course." Jessie said. "Oh mom and dad, I wish I come home sooner."
Then they heard two voices laughing.
"Who's laughing?" Justin asked neverously.
Two people came out of the coffins. The man was wearing a blue pants, a dark green tux and a blue tie as his hair was a little darker then James.
"Prepare for trouble!" he said.
The woman was wearing a long red dress, fancy beads around the neck, her dark purple hair in a ponytail and carrying a fancy blue fan.
"Yes dear, and make it double!" she smiled.
"What the heck?!" Justin shouted.
Team Rocket and Team Neo fell onto their backs.
"Oh James." Mother said. "I knew you would return home someday."
"And you're wearing a suit." Father said, looking at James suit then at Sam. "Not mention you brought a best man."
"I don't think they're dead." Sam said.
James takes cloth off of his face. "It's just like them to get me back home!" James said to Jessie.
"I thought you had amnesia." Libby said to James.
James gasps and tried to fake he had amnesia. "Who am I?!" James yelled. "Where am I?!"
"Why you're James and you're about to be married." Father answered.
"Hopkins, begin the preparations." Mother requested.
Hopkins grabs James, Jessie and Meowth and ran up the stairs. Before Sam can make a run for, Libby and Justin grabs Sam's arms.
"We're seeing this through to the end." she hisses at him.
Team Neo followed James parents upstairs as everyone enters the mansion.
"So this whole thing was a trap for James to get married." Brock said.
Upstairs in the next room, Sam was thrown into a nice chair like James. James wanted to speak, but Jessie covered his mouth with her hand.
"Before the master and mistress talks to their son, I have a copy of your parent's will." Hopkins said, handing Sam a folded up yellow envelope.
Sam gets up from his chair and walks over to the window. He opens the envelope and pulls out the letter to begin reading it. He read the Will from top to bottom. He could feel his hand shaking and didn't even bother to notices another person sitting across from James after his chair was turned around.
"Oh no." Sam muttered in shock when he reach the end of the letter. He recognize a signature at the bottom of the paper.
"Well now." a voice said that sent a shiver down Sam's spine.
He slowly turns around and notices a young teenage girl. She was wearing a cute purple, blue jeans and white sneakers. Her jade eyes stares at Sam and she has short red hair.
As Sam was looking at her, everyone was screaming at the same in shocked after taking a look at James fiancé, Jessabelle. She was wearing a fancy blue dress.
"Hi Sam." she smiles at him.
Sam gasps after everyone stops screaming.
"No!" Sam shouted in shock and fear. "Not you again!" He tried to run out the door but he ran into the wall leaving a hole.
Libby and Justin said nothing as they watched in shocked. The girl ran after them and didn't notice Ash and the others. Sam ran back through the hole he made and trip as he skids into the wall with his face.
"Is that how you say hello to me?" the girl asks, walking back into the room.
Libby and Justin walks over and helps Sam sits up. He turns his head and notices Jessabelle.
"Jessie...?" Sam moaned.
"She's over there." Libby whispered, pointing at Jessie who was still with James. "The person you pointed was Jessabelle."
Sam quickly stands up and backs away from them against the wall.
"I've seen you got a couple friends to invite James's Wedding." the girl smiled. "Are you going to introduce me or will I?"
"Sam, who is this?" James asks him. "How does this girl know you?"
"This girl is Miranda." Sam answered. "Her and I met in the final year of my middle school. I dropped out of high school after I learned that my parents revealed that she's to become my wife after high school. During the summer, I learned that Miranda has been dissecting animals as she wanted to become a talented doctor. She told me I will be her first human subject to dissect and will be studying me every day when we're married after high school. I didn't want that so I ran away."
"Whoa." Jovan muttered.
"Say, I have an idea." Jessabelle said, standing up. "Let's all go down to the vault and count all the money you'll inherit."
Jessie and Meowth chuckled.
Team Rocket and Team Neo followed Jessabelle and Miranda down to the basement.
"After you disappeared, your mother and father were worried about you." Jessabelle said. "I was too, but I knew you would return one day you'd come back to me."
"I'm sorry for running away." Jessie mimics. "But everything is going to be fine now since I'm here with my money."
"What?"
"I mean I'm back here with you." Jessie said.
Everyone follows them to the basement.
"Here we are at the vault." Jessabelle said. Standing in front of them was two iron doors as she approach to the keypad. "Let's go inside. You're inheritance is inside waiting for you." She pushes a button and the doors open.
Jessie and Meowth smiled as they all rushed inside. But inside the vault was no money. There was a silver table in the middle of the room with some gym equipment.
"What's all this junk?" Meowth asked confused.
"I thought the inheritance was in here." Justin said.
James broke free of their grip and looks at them. "Don't you see?" James asks them. "She tricked you all."
"How did she spot us?" Meowth wondered.
"Idiots!" James shouted at his friends except Sam.
They heard some drumming and turns around and notice Father standing on top of a box. "Your mother and I are tired of waiting for you to grow up." Father said.
Mother played a flute that causes them to turn around and sees her standing on top of a box too. "It's time you face the music son." she said.
Then a whip can be heard. They look at the far end of the room and sees Jessabelle wearing a short red coat, white jeans, very long red-purple boots and a whip in her hand as she was standing on a platform.
"You can't do anything you feel like anymore." Jessabelle said. "Now you'll obey Jessabelle."
Sam notices Miranda below Jessabelle. She was wearing a white lab coat with a silver shot and a needle. "Let's have you all set for the appointment." Miranda smiles at Sam.
"If you think I like her, I'd go for Libby because she's not crazy all the time." Justin said.
Libby smacks him on the head.
Father and Mother surround them.
"You have to open that mouth of yours." Libby growled.
"Do you take us for fools?" Father asks them.
"We just simply ignored you and waited to bring James down to the dungeon." Mother said.
"Time to escape!" Libby shouted to Jessie.
Jessie throws a smoke bomb to the floor. Everyone was coughing as they made their escape.
"You guys!" Sam shouted. The smoke was hard to see. He can hear footsteps circling around him. Whose footsteps was that? Sam couldn't see who it was. As he turns around, Miranda was behind him.
"Ready for your appointment?" Miranda asks him with a smile.
"AHH!" Sam screams in horror as he started to run away from from her and Miranda begins to chase him.
They ran by James and Jessabelle while James's parents were sitting in the middle of the room drinking a nice cup of tea.
"I don't think we should get involved into family affairs." Seth said.
Sam kept running until he trip and fell to the floor next to James.
"I knew you fall for me, James." Jessabelle said. "Go Vileplume!" She threw a Poké Ball and a Pokémon appeared.
It is an indigo, bipedal Pokémon with rudimentary hands and feet. It has beady red eyes and a small mouth, and its head and torso are a single joined segment. On its head is a massive red flower with five bulky petals and an orange-brown center. It'sflower is said to have the largest petals in the world and is almost too heavy for the Pokémon itself to support. The rounded petals of the flower are red and covered with white spot.
"Oh." Jovan gasps as they all take out their Poké Dex.
"Vileplume, the Flower Pokémon. Using the largest flower petals in the world, it spreads large clouds of pollen that cause allergic reactions."
"Now Vileplume, use your Stun Spore to slow down James and Sam to keep them from escaping!" she ordered.
"Move!" Jovan shouted. July, Seth, Anna, Slade, Eevee, Dragonair and himself ran from the basement and made it to the outside.
"How far did you think that Stun Spore went?" July panted as they got their breath.
"They only got the others." Jovan said.
Hopkins throws the others Team Rocket and Team Neo out in front of them.
"A Rose always have its thorns." Seth said, crossing his arms.
"How can anyone marry her?" Libby wondered.
They can hear yelling and shouts from inside the mansion.
"If they can survive." Meowth said.
They can hear some growling coming from the dog house that turn their heads to the dog house. The door was being pounded.
"What's that?" Ash wondered.
Pikachu turns around and looks up at Ash. "Pi Pi Pika Pikachu Cha." Pikachu said to him.
"Meowth." Jovan said, looking at Meowth.
"Pikachu wants someone to open the door to the dog house." Meowth said.
"Ok then." Ash said. They all walk up to the door and Ash began to pull the doors. "It's locked." he said. Ash looks over his shoulders. "Help me out."
Misty, Brock, Jessie, Meowth and Pikachu all grabs Ash and each other and began to pull.
"We'll watch your backs." Jovan said as they watched the mansion doors.
With the strength of Growlie and the trainers, the doors open and Growlie ran outside.
Sam was sitting on the floor near the operating table. Miranda looks down at him.
"Time for your appointment." Miranda said in a sing song voice. In her hand was a knife and scissors.
"Noo!" Sam screams in terror.
All of a sudden, Growlie appeared and landed in front of Jessabelle, growling at her.
"What?!" Miranda gasps as she turns around.
Sam uses his leg to sweep her off her feet and ran by her. He dives out of the dungeon to avoid the Stun Spore and made it outside.
"Hurry!" Justin shouted.
Sam ran inside the doghouse with his friends and closed the doors.
Miranda stands behind Jessabelle on the roof. "You can't run forever, Sam." she snickered.
Sam sits on the floor in the middle of the room. Ash, Brock, Misty was sitting on a green couch as Pikachu was sitting on Ash's lap while Meowth was sitting on a arm chair that Jessie was leaning on, looking at James and Growlie in the other couch. Jovan and July was on the floor next to Ash and Dragonair as Libby and Justin stands while Eevee sat in July's lap. Anna, Seth and Slade was standing behind James and Growlie.
"You saved me, Growlie." James smiled at Growlie.
"Growlithe!" Growlie barks happily, licking his face.
"Well Sam." Libby said, looking at Sam. "Miranda sure does like you a lot."
"Imagine marrying Libby." Justin joked. "Libby is crazy than her."
Libby smacks him on the head.
"I still remember that day." Sam said.
Flashback
It was a rainy night at the beginning of summer. Sam was walking through the halls of school. He and a couple of friends were helping with one of his friend's older sister for a charity event at the middle school. Sam notices a light was on in one of the classrooms. He takes a peek inside and saw some curtains up. Behind the curtains was Miranda and she was placing her subject on the table.
"Hm?" Miranda wondered, looking out behind the curtain. She notices Sam looking at her. "Hi Sam.
"Miranda, what are you doing here?" Sam wondered, walking into the classroom.
"I was helping out Mrs. Weeks putting some science books away." she answered. "Also, I'm getting ready to dissect this little frog."
Sam went inside the curtains and notices a small little green frog strap to a table.
"I'm going to be a doctor." Miranda said.
"Nice." Sam said. He didn't bother looking at her as his eyes was on the frog. The frog was afraid of her.
"But do you want to know who will be my first subject after high school?" Miranda asks him, looking at Sam.
"Who?" Sam wondered as she looks at her.
"You." Miranda smiles at him with an answer. "Because you and me will be married after high school."
Sam stares at her in confusion. "You're joking." Sam said. He was thinking this is a joke.
"No, I'm serious about it." Miranda said. The tone in her voice was serious. "When we're married, I'll be studying you every day as I learn to be a talented doctor."
"I'll see you around." Sam said as he quickly left her.
Flashback Ends
"I do not want to be married to Miranda." Sam said.
"Who knew that being rich would be such a bummer." Meowth said.
They heard the wall cracking behind them. The explosion sent Jessie, Meowth, Libby and Justin through the roof, sending all four of them flying away.
"Oh no!" Sam shouted as they all stand up.
The smoke cleared as Jessabelle, Vileplume and Miranda stands in the hole of the wall.
"You can't escape this time, Sam." Miranda said.
Growlie ran in front of James and Sam, growling at the three intruders.
"Vileplume, stun them to sleep like you did before!" Jessabelle ordered.
"Vileplume!" it shouted, releasing a sparkling orange powder with white sparkles in it from the hole on its head.
"Growl!" Growlie shouted, releasing a spiral of flames at the powder.
The powder disappeared, letting Ash and Jovan to order their Pokémon.
"Now Pikachu, electric shock!" Ash ordered.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu shouted, releasing several bolts of electricity with Dragonair at Vileplume.
"Growl!" Growlie shouted, releasing a stream of fire at Vileplume.
"Vileplume!" it shouted in fear.
"AHH!" Jessabelle screamed. She turns around and started to run away. "Keep that thing away from us!" She ran through the hole with Vileplume and Miranda.
Everyone sighs in relief as Growlie howls victorius.
"Thank you, Growlie." James thanked Growlie. "You're the best."
"Growl Growl!" Growlie smiled.
"Come on, James." Sam said. "Let's make sure those three leave."
Sam, James and Growlie left the dog house and hid behind some bushes near the back of the house. As James and Growlie were watching his parents and Hopkins in the water, Sam walks over to a tree and climbs onto a branch. He smiled as Miranda left the estate. Sam hops back down to the ground and left the estate. It was good he wouldn't see her again.
It was a sunny afternoon as James and Sam were riding in the Meowth balloon. James looks down and see their friends walking along the path.
"Prepare for trouble!" James calls down belwo.
Their friends looks up.
"It's them." Justin smiled.
"Make it double." Jessie smiled.
Sam lowers the balloon letting James catch Jessie as Libby and Justin hops on and the balloon flew in to the sky.
"Seems like we're not going to get rich this time." Libby said.
"True." Sam said. "They wouldn't give James his inheritance."
"There's always next time." Jessie said. "We may not make a lot of money, but we all have our freedom."
"Yeah." James said. "Double trouble time." He sticks his hand out.
"Sounds great to me." Jessie smiled as the two shakes hands.
Justin looks behind and notice Meowth running after them. "We forgot Meowth." Justin said.
Everyone was running away from Jessabelle and Miranda.
"Just let me study you!" Miranda shouted at them as they ran after them.
"No thanks!" Jovan called, looking over his shoulder.
And so, Ash and his friends dash away from this beautiful estate, eager to get on with their Pokémon Journey. Has our hero learned anything valuable during their visit? Well, maybe.
"Come on!" Miranda pleaded.
