The Ultimate Test
"Let's eat!" everyone smiled. They were all sitting down on two blankets. Ash sat across from Misty as Brock and Todd were sitting across from Pikachu and Togepi. Their other friends were sitting on a white blanket next to them.
This all began with a innocent question from Misty.
"It's been a long time since all of you got a Gym Badge." Misty said to her friends. "Do you think you'll get another one?"
Ash was about to respond but he started choking.
"I guess you could make another Gym Leader sorry for you and get another Gym Badge that way." Misty suggested.
"Take it easy, Ash, have this." Brock said, handing Ash a drink while Todd and Pikachu was rubbing Ash's back.
The raven-haired trainer drank and swallowed it. "Ahh... Skill. I win matches with skill."
"How much skill do you need to beat Team Rocket and Team Neo?"
"I'll show you skill." Ash said, taking out a Poké Ball. "I challenge you to a match right now."
"Pika." Pikachu said to his trainer.
"No, Pikachu, I will not change my mind."
"Hold it!" Todd exclaims, making Ash turn his head to him.
"Why should I hold it?" Ash questions him.
"He was talking about Pikachu, Ash." Jovan said to him.
"Will you cut it out, Todd?" Ash asked annoyed.
"Ok ok. So you want to prove you have skills somehow, right?"
"That's exactly what I want to prove."
"Then all of you should get admitted." Todd smiled.
"Oh?" Seth crossed his arms.
"The Pokémon League Admission Exams." Todd said.
"The Pokémon League Admission Exams?" Slade asked. "I think this is a great idea."
"Count us in." Jovan nodded.
To get into the Pokémon League, trainers must travel from one gym to another and collect badges to prove they defeated each Gym Master. However...
After having lunch and packing everything up, they found the admission building. There were many different trainers with their Pokémon. Ash and his friends were at the reception desk while Todd was taking pictures.
"Here at the Pokémon League Admission Center, we evaluate applicants based on the combined written and practical skills exam." a male instructor said. He has brown hair and black eyes. "If the applicants pass the exam, they receive this badge that will qualify them for the Pokémon League." He shows them all a small red-ruby shaped badge with the letter P in gold.
"Wow!" they all gasp.
"Now, you'll need your testing number to be in the exam." the instructor said as he gave each of them a number on a pin.
"Seems like I got number one." Jovan said, showing it to his sister.
"Number two is good with me." Anna smiled.
"I don't mind about three." July said.
"What number did you get, Seth?" Slade asks him. He looks over his friend's shoulder and notice Seth has number twelve.
"Why?" Seth muttered, remembering he got last place when they were playing Mario Kart.
Jovan was looking around until he noticed a young woman with crimson red hair in a tight bun. She was wearing a yellow tank top with a blue jean jacket and blue shorts. The woman was wearing a pair of sunshades. She notices him and quickly filled her application.
"Hm." Jovan wondered. He shrugs it off and continues to look at the people who are here for the exam.
"Look like they're here for the exams too." Anna said.
"Yeah, but nobody I'm better than." Ash said.
Slade notices Nurse Joy. "It's Nurse Joy." Slade said. He watch Brock walks up to the nurse.
"But which one." Jovan said.
"Just a moment." the instructor said to them. "You'll have to leave your Poké Balls here with me because you're not permitted to use your own Pokémon during the examination."
"That's understandable." Jovan nodded his head.
Misty watch Ash, Jovan, July, Seth and Anna place all of their Poké Balls on the counter.
"Is it alright if I can take of my friend's Dragonair and Eevee while Misty watches Pikachu?" Slade asks him.
"Sure." the instructor smiled. "Good luck to all of you."
"I'd wish you luck, but you got skill." Misty said to Ash.
"You got that right." Ash agreed as he walks by her.
"If you ask me, Jovan and Anna have a special skill." Slade said with a sly smile.
"What?"
"Your love to each other."
"Because when I entered the room last night, she had her head in your lap." July chuckled.
"It's not what it looks like." Jovan said, his face turning red.
They all walk up to Nurse Joy and Brock.
"So you want to become a Pokémon Master too, Nurse Joy?" Ash asks her.
"Yes." Joy answered. "It always has been a dream of mine."
"So where are you from, Nurse Joy?" Brock asked.
"I'm the Nurse Joy from the Fuchsica City Joy, sister to the Vermillion City Joys." Joy answered.
"You're the most beautiful one yet." Brock smiled.
"That's what you always say, Brock." Misty said to him.
"I came here for the exam because my work kept me too busy from traveling very much." Joy said.
"I believe it's a good idea to take the exam." Anna said.
"Yes. It's perfect for people's age and health from traveling around and it's perfect for people like me." Joy agreed.
"I'm sure you can pass the test." Brock said to her with a smile.
"I hope you're right."
"That would be a best human interest shot." Todd walks up behind Ash.
"Come on, Todd. Save that film for the Pokémon." Jovan said.
The three boys notices two men enter the building. The first one was wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt and pants with glasses. The second man was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans with a pair of sunshades. They notice the three boys looking at them and quickly left in a hurry.
"Hey Ash, doesn't he look familiar?" Jovan asked him.
"Yeah, it's weird." Ash places his hand under his chin.
"Here is our examination form, sir." the second man said, handing the forms over.
"Ok, let's see it." the instructor looks over the two forms. "So your names are James and Sam."
"Don't say our names out loud!" Sam hissed quietly at him. He turns to his left to notice two women staring at them. "What are you looking at, old hag?"
The second woman looked mad at him before she grabs him by the neck and drags him out of the building with the first woman coming too with the first man.
"Unhand me, you old hag!" Sam shouted as the two men were dragged outside.
"And when did I became an old hag?" the second woman sneered at him, removing her shades.
"Libby?" Sam gasps. He takes a look at her clothes.
"What are you two doing here?" Libby questions him.
"That's what I want to know too." Jessie agreed with her.
"I didn't know Sam was going to be here too." James said to them.
"Seeing how many people are being here, I bet I can be a Pokémon Master." Sam said. "So, what are you doing here, Libby?"
"I thought it will be a good idea to add the title of Pokémon Master to my resume." Libby smirks at him. "I've already accomplished to be a actress, flouriest, wine expert and wedding designer."
"Then that means all of you are not a Pokémon Master." Justin said behind her with Meowth standing besides him.
"Justin and Meowth!" all four of them exclaims in surprised to see their friends.
"What are you two doing here?" Sam asks him.
"We were looking for you four." Justin answered. "After all of you suddenly have an important appointment to attend to. You left a note saying you're going to a interview, Libby. And Sam, we know that you didn't went to see Miranda."
"I'll tell you why we're all here." Sam said. Justin gestured his hand. "We just want to have a picnic on this beautiful day."
"Don't try to fool us!" Meowth shouted, scratching Jessie, James, Libby and Sam. "Come clean, you four. Why are you all really here for?"
"We're not going to tell you anything!" Libby shouted angrily at him.
"So have fun with this!" James take out a pink ball of yawn and tosses it behind Meowth.
Sam takes out a book and tosses the book to Justin. Justin looks down at the book and it was a comedy book. He starts laughing as his friends took this opportunity to run back inside the building for the exam.
Everyone was inside the classroom. Each person has their own computer. The instructor stood in front of them with a big screen behind him.
"The first test will measure your overall knowledge of Pokémon." the instructor said. "You may begin."
Everyone began their test.
"Lickitung's tongue is twice the length of its body. True or False?"
Jovan presses the button.
"Ninetails evolves from Vulpix by using a Fire Stone. True or False?"
"That one is true." Anna thought as she pressed the button.
"Hitmonlee is known as the Punching Demon. True or False?"
July pressed the button to confirm her answer.
"The only attack Magikarp originally knows is Splash. True or False?"
Libby let out a annoyed sigh. "Those two should've known they were scammed from that man." She closed her eyes and kept tapping the two buttons.
"Caterpie is world's smallest Pokémon. True or False?"
Sam notices Libby is going through the questions easily. "She's so good that she's doing this exam with her eyes close."
"Koffing was first discovered in a public bathhouse. True or False?"
Libby reminded herself that she'll pass the exam with no problem.
After an hour has passed, everyone finished their first exam. The instructor stood before them. "Next we will measure your ability to recognize Pokémon. Please name the Pokémon by identifying its silhouette or any part of its body right here on the screen that is displayed behind me."
"This is going to be a piece of cake." Ash said with confidence.
"Here is the first question. Identify this Pokémon." the instructor said.
A round black shadow appeared on the screen.
"Alright then." Jovan said, putting his answer down.
"And the answer is a Jigglypuff seen from above." the instructor smiled as Jigglypuff appeared on the screen. "Next question. What kind of Pokémon displays this pattern?"
Anna nodded her head as she put her answer down.
"The correct answer is Poliwag. As any Master would know, when Poliwag evolves into Poliwhirl, the swirl on its stomach reverses the direction."
Slade, Pikachu, Brock, Misty and Togepi was standing outside of the room as they were all watching from the window.
"This exam is hard." Misty said.
"And it's going to be a lot harder too." Slade said.
"Question Fifteen. What Pokémon tail does this belong to?"
The screen showed a tail of fire.
"Hm." July muttered softly, thinking to herself. She puts her answer down.
"And the answer is Ponyta." the instructor said.
"How could I forget that?" Ash groaned.
"Wouldn't it be better if you just give us easy questions that we know the answer too?!" Libby shouted angrily, standing up from her chair.
Everyone in the room looks at Libby and Jessie.
"Please take you seat." the instructor said.
"This whole thing is stupid! These questions won't make you a Pokémon Master in the future!"
"For your information, a Pokémon Master must understand all aspects of their Pokémon's life in order to be oneness with their Pokémon, young lady!"
"We're done with this!" Libby punches the screen.
"Get out! Both of you!" the instructor shouted angrily.
"Gladly!" Libby exits the room as Jessie threw her number on the floor and followed her.
"Is it just me or that girl's attitude seems familiar?" Jovan asked his sister.
Meowth was resting his head on the ball of yawn while Justin was sitting down next to him reading his book.
"Alright you two, let's get moving!" Libby sneered.
Jessie kicks Meowth to wake him up and slaps Justin behind his head.
"Where are we going?!" Justin turns around to look up at them, rubbing the back of his head.
"We're going on a field trip called Revenge!" Libby shouted determinedly.
The second exam was finished. Everyone saw the scoreboard on the tv screen being lowered.
"Looks like the ones on the right got the lower score while the others on the left got the higher score." Slade said, looking at the scoreboard. "Seems like Nurse Joy is at the top of the list. And so are all of you."
Jovan saw his picture next to July's picture on the left with a perfect score.
"Any idea where Ash's picture is?" July wondered.
"Hm." Anna said, taking a closer look at the screen. She turns her head to the right and notice a small tv with a sign that says Lowest Scores. "There's a small tv over there. Let's meet up with the others."
They walk up to their friends and notice Ash and the two men has the lowest score while the other two women have no score.
Todd took a couple pictures.
"Cut it out, Todd." Ash told him.
"Just a little souvenir, Ash." Todd smiles sheepishly.
"Seems like you didn't have enough skill or luck to pass the exam, Ash." Misty said behind him.
"Pokémon are not about exam, it's about battles." Ash turns his head to her.
James and Sam were standing in the corner of the room away from everyone else. "Libby and Jessie has been expelled." Sam said to James. "Looks like it's up to us to finish this."
Everyone was standing outside, watching another instructor and Nurse Joy having a Pokémon battle.
"Wow, that was a nice Water Gun Attack." Slade said as he watches the battle.
Ash, Jovan, July, Anna and Seth were standing in front of the table with the two men and the instructor standing behind the table.
"Now you can select which one whatever you like." the instructor said.
"I don't know which one to pick." Ash said, looking at the Poké Balls before looking up at the instructor. "So you can't tell us what kind of Pokémon are inside them, huh?"
"That's what makes it a test. All of these Pokémon are trained for battle to listen to your commands. This test determines whether a trainer can adapt, regardless of what Pokémon comes out."
"And who do we battle?" Sam asks him.
"With me." the instructor answered.
"Then I'll use these." Jovan picks up a belt.
James and the instructor made their way to the battlefield. The bell rung. "This one is for you!" James shouted, throwing the Poké Ball. The sphere opens, releasing a white light and a Pikachu appeared.
"Oh." Slade raised his eyebrows in surprised.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said seriously.
"Heh heh." James chuckled. "I can't possibly lose with this. I've been destroyed by Pikachu's Thunder Shock and Thunderbolt so many times that I know all of them by heart. Ha ha ha!"
"It is pathetic, isn't?" Libby asks Justin.
"Now let's begin!" the instructor throws his Poké Ball. The sphere opens and a Graveler appeared.
"Use Thunderbolt, Pikachu!" James ordered.
"Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu shouted, releasing yellow electricity.
The electricity hits Graveler and it just stood there as the attack didn't faze it. Graveler launches at Pikachu into a tackle, sending the electric mouse Pokémon to bounce off James's face.
"What happened? Why didn't the Thunderbolt worked?" James wondered.
"You should know that Electricity doesn't work on Ground Type Pokémon." the head instructor said. "Minus one point."
"Then how's this?!" James shouted angrily, throwing two Poké Balls at once. Both spheres open and a Charizard and a Ivysaur appeared.
The head instructor gasps.
"With these I can win. What do you say to that?" James laughed.
The head instructor walks up to him. "Goodbye." he said, causing James to growl. "It's against the rules to use two Pokémon at once."
"I never play by the rules." James said.
The head instructor gives him a stern look. "You're expelled and get out."
"He failed again." Jessie groans.
After James left, Sam was up next as the head instructor went back to his position.
"Poké Ball, go!" the head instructor shouted, throwing the Poké Ball. The sphere open and a white light bursts out.
"Haunter!" Haunter exclaims.
"Go!" Sam yelled, throwing the Poké Ball. The Poké Ball open to reveal Hitmonchan.
"Hit!"
"Use Mega Punch!" Sam ordered.
Hitmonchan's punch went through Haunter's body.
"What?!" James gasps in shock.
"Normal Type and Fighting Type attacks won't work on Ghost Pokémon like Haunter." the instructor said. "Haunter, use Psychic!"
Haunter's eyes and body glowed purple. Hitmonchan was covered in the light purple energy and was sent flying into Sam.
"Try this on for size!" Sam yelled angrily, throwing another Poké Ball. The second Poké Ball open and a Metapod appeared.
"Oh wow." Libby muttered.
"Haunter, return!" the head instructor shouted as Haunter went back inside the sphere. "Poké Ball, go!" He threw the Poké Ball and the sphere opens, revealing a Charmeleon.
"Metapod, use Harden!" Sam ordered.
"Flamethrower!"
Charmeleon opens its mouth and fires a stream of orange-red fire at Metapod as Metapod couldn't stand the attack and fainted.
"Metapod, return!" Sam yelled. Metapod went back inside the Poké Ball. "My last one. Go!" He threw another Poké Ball onto the battlefield and the sphere open to reveal a Magikarp. Sam's jaw dropped.
The head instructor had already recalled his Pokémon and sent out a Magnemite. "Now Magnemite, use Thunder Shock!"
"Try to dodge it!" Sam ordered, but it was too late as it got hit by the small lightning bolt. He recalled Magikarp back to the Poké Ball. "I want a rematch!"
"I won't allow it. Everyone gets one battle only where they get one chance."
"Yeah right! This whole thing is rigged!" Sam shouted.
The head instructor gave him a stern look. "You're expelled, now leave!"
"I don't think Sam's plan worked at all." Meowth said to Justin.
After Sam left, Jovan was up next.
"You can do it, Jovan!" Anna cheers Jovan.
"Go, Poké Ball!" the instructor shouted, throwing the Poké Ball onto the battlefield and a Rhyhorn appeared.
"Let's who I got. Go Poké Ball!" Jovan shouted, throwing a Poké Ball onto the battlefield. The sphere opens up and releases a white light, revealing a Squirtle.
"Squirtle!" it smiled.
"Rhyhorn, Take Down Attack!"
Rhyhorn charges at Squirtle.
"Stop it with Water Gun!"
A spiral of water was released from Squirtle's mouth towards Rhyhorn and it hits Rhyhorn.
"Rhyhorn, use Thunderbolt!"
The horn began to crackle with yellow electricity. The electricity forms into a yellow ball and Rhyhorn fires the yellow ball at Squirtle.
"Squirtle, quick, use Withdraw!" Jovan shouted.
Squirtle quickly used withdraw into its shell and the electricity hits it.
"That was a strong attack. Time to switch out for a new one." Jovan thought. "Squirtle, return!" Squirtle transforms into red energy and went inside the sphere. "Go, Poké Ball!" he throws the Poké Ball onto the battlefield and Ivysaur appeared.
"Ivysaur!" it exclaims.
"Use Body Slam!" the head instructor shouted.
Rhyhorn jumps into the air to slam on Ivysaur.
"Razor Leaf, let's go!" Jovan ordered.
Mutiple razor sharp leaves were leaves on Ivysaur's back to the mid-air Rhyhorn. It landed on the ground and fainted.
"Rhyhorn, return!" the instructor exclaims. His Pokemon transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball. He throws another Poké Ball. The sphere opens and a Raticate appears.
"Raticate!" it exclaims.
"Now, Raticate, use Hyper Fang!" the head instructor ordered.
Its teeth began to shine and bites down on Ivysaur.
"Quick Ivysaur, use Sleep Powder!" Jovan ordered.
Ivysaur releases a sparkling light-blue powder from its bulb. Raticate went to sleep instantly.
"Now, wrap it with Razor Leaf!"
Ivysaur fires its multiple razor leaves at the sleeping Raticate. The Raticate fainted.
"That's my second win!" Jovan cheered.
"Jovan's doing great out there." July said to Slade.
"Raticate, return!" the head instructor exclaimed. His Pokémon transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball. He throws his third Poké Ball onto the battlefield and a Gengar appears.
"Gengar." it said.
"A Gengar. Grass attacks won't be very effective against one Gengar. Return, Ivysaur!" Ivysaur transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball. Jovan throws a Poké Ball and Charizard appeared.
"Jovan got the same two Pokémon like that other guy." Misty said to Brock.
"Hm." Ann said.
"Gengar, use your Night Shade!"
The Ghost Pokémon fires a black crimson beam from its eyes at Charizard.
"Use Slash!" Jovan ordered.
"Char!" it shouted as its claws grew longer and glowed in a white light. Charizard slashes through the beam.
"Gengar, Hyper Beam attack!" the head instructor commanded.
"Gengar!" Gengar shouted, firing an orange beam of energy surrounded by light-pink streaks of energy from its mouth at Charizard.
"Charizard, dodge the attack by flying into the air!" Jovan commanded. The Flame Pokémon dodge the attack and flew into the air. "Use Flamethrower!" Charizard fires a stream of orange-red fire at Gengar.
Gengar couldn't move after using that attack as it got hit by the fire.
"Not bad, Jovan." the head instructor said.
"Let's wrap this up! Flamethrower!" Jovan shouted.
Charizard releases its fire on the Ghost Type Pokémon and Gengar fainted.
"Alright!" Jovan cheered.
"Gengar, return!" the instructor exclaimed. His Gengar transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball. He walks up to Jovan. "You did great."
"Thanks." Jovan smiled. He walks to his friends with the crowd as Ash made his way over to the battlefield and the instructor went back to his spot with a new team.
"Now let's see if Ash can win one." Misty said.
"You can do it, Ash!" Slade called him.
"Pika Pi!" Pikachu cheered.
"Just leave it to me!" Ash smiled. "Make sure you get lots of great shots, Todd."
"I hope you win." Todd nodded.
"I'm such a loser!" James whines as Sam stood by his side with his legs tucked in.
"If you two are done with your little sad party, Jessie has a plan that will make us all winners." Libby said, walking up behind the two men with Jessie, Justin and Meowth.
"Ready, Ash?"
"Ready!"
"Poké Ball, go" the head instructor throws the sphere onto the battlefield and a Flareon appeared.
"Ok, I need something to beat a Flareon." Ash said. "Go, Poké Ball!" He throws a Poké Ball onto the battlefield and a Weezing appeared.
"Weezing!" it exclaims.
"I got a Weezing!?"
"I didn't see that coming." Sam said to Libby.
"I got to get a picture of this." Todd said, taking pictures of Ash and Weezing.
"Huh? Not now, Todd!"
It's time to start the battle. Flareon go, Flamethrower now!"
"Flareon!" it cried, firing the Flamethrower at Weezing.
"Weez!" Weezing was startled as it was dodging the flames.
"Weezing, give it your Smog Attack, now!" Ash ordered.
"Weezing!" Weezing shouted, pouring out a dark thick green fog out of the holes from its body.
Both attacks collided and exploded that sent Flareon flying backwards. It lands on its feet.
"Now, Flareon, the Leer."
Flareon's eyes started to glow yellow.
"Come on, Weezing! Fight back with Smokescreen!" Ash ordered.
"Weezing!" Weezing shouted, releasing a dark green smoke from the holes.
"Flar!" Flareon couldn't see where Weezing would attack from.
"Not bad." the head instructor said with a smile.
"Now, Weezing, use Tackle Attack!"
"Weezing!" Weezing exclaims as it slams into Flareon, knocking it out.
"My first victory, alright!" Ash cheered.
"It looks like Ash is a pretty good fighter." Misty said.
"Even Team Rocket and Team Neo could fought like that what Ash and Jovan did today." Seth said.
Team Rocket and Team Neo were writing that down in their notes.
"Now for round two!" the head instructor tosses a second Poké Ball onto the battlefield and a Jolteon appeared.
"Jolt!"
"A Jolteon, okay. Poké Ball go!" Ash throws his next Poké Ball onto the battlefield and a Arbok appears.
"Arbok!" it cries out.
"Ash has Arbok that Jessie uses. This should be interesting." Jovan raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"So what are Arbok's attacks?" Ash wondered.
"Jolteon, Agility attack!"
"Jolt!" Jolteon was running towards Arbok with great speed.
Then Ash remembered Arbok's moves. "Arbok, use Glare!"
"Arbok!" Arbok's eyes glowed blue, stopping Jolteon in its tracks.
"Now use Wrap!" Ash commanded.
Arbok slithers over and tries to wrap Jolteon, but it got hurt by the spikes.
"Oh no! I forgot all about the spikes on Jolteon!"
"Hurry Jolteon, use the Thunder Attack!"
The Lighting Pokémon fires a massive beam of yellow electricity from its body towards Arbok. Arbok yells and fainted.
"Abork, no!" Ash cried.
"Too bad you overloaded Jolteon's spikes. Powering up your opponent is a fundamental rule."
"Arbok, return!" Ash commanded. Arbok transforms into red energy and went back inside the Poké Ball. "My third Poké Ball, go!" He tosses the Poké Ball and a Meowth appeared. "Meowth?!"
"Like I said, this should be interesting." Jovan said.
Dragonair nodded her head.
"What are Meowth's attacks?"
"Use the Furry Swipes!" Team Rocket's Meowth called out.
"Huh?" Ash turns his head around to see who called out the command.
The head instructor already recalled Jolteon. "Go!" He throws another Poké Ball and Vaporeon appears.
"A Vaporeon, hm? Ok, Meowth use your Furry Swipes!" Ash commanded.
"Meowth!" it nodded as Meowth leaps toward Vaporeon.
"Vaporeon, use your Ice Beam Attack!"
The Bubble Jet Pokémon opens its mouth a fires a stream of water. The water hits Meowth and instantly became frozen in a block of ice and hits the ground.
"Ah, Meowth!" Ash yelled.
"Looks like another victory for me." the head instructor said as his Vaporeon was recalled back in its Poké Ball.
"That was fast." Ash said.
"Look what you did!" Meowth yelled as he jumps up in front of his face and starts scratching him. "How can you do that to a fellow Meowth?!" He went over to the frozen Meowth and kicks the ice to set the other Meowth free. "Sorry you had to go through that."
"Well now, I love to catch that talking Meowth there." the head instructor smiled, noticing the talking Meowth. "Poké Ball, go!" He throws the Poké Ball, but the metal sphere was bounced back from three attacks. It was the same people who got kicked out except for Justin. "All of you, return those Pokémon back right now!"
"We're not going to follow your orders anymore!" Libby shouted.
"Time to teach you a lesson!" Sam smirks at him.
"What?!"
Prepare yourself for trouble!
And I suggest you make it double!
"It's Team Rocket and Team Neo!" Jovan exclaims.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all peoples within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!" the two women took off their disguises.
"James!" the two men did the same thing.
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
"Meowth! That's right!"
Jovan, Ash and the others ran to the head instructor's side.
"Don't interfere with my test!" Ash yells at them.
"Just go home and study harder. You'll pass next time." the head instructor said.
"There won't be a next time, unfortunately." Jessie said. "It's payback time now that we rounded up these Pokémon."
"Pikachu, Ivysaur, Charizard, Hitmonchan, Metapod, Magickarp, ready to roll?!" Sam yells with excitement.
"And I'm going to teach you a lesson for picking on a Meowth!" Meowth shouted at them.
"There's no way we're going to let you do this!" Misty shouted at them.
"Let's go Dragonair." Jovan told Dragonair.
"Ivysaur, the Vine Whip now!" Jessie ordered.
"Go, Charizard, Flamethrower now!" James commanded.
"Pikachu, Thunder now!"
"Give'em your Mega Punch!" Libby commanded.
"Use Tackle!" Sam and Justin ordered together.
"Listen up, Pikachu, Ivysaur, Charizard, Hitmonchan, Metapod, Magikarp, about face now!"
All of the Pokémon turns around and attacked Team Rocket and Team Neo.
"Amazing." Anna said, amazed.
Jovan turns his head to the instructor. "You must've raised them all."
"That's correct."
"Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, stop Team Neo and Team Rocket!" Jovan commanded.
"Arbok, Weezing, Meowth, stop them too!" Ash ordered.
The other six Pokémon began their attacks against Team Rocket and Team Neo.
"Alright, Weezing, Explosion!" Ash commanded.
"Weezing!" Weezing exclaimed. It was covered in a white light and exploded with dark thick, green gas.
"Ahhh!" Team Rocket and Team Neo yelled as they were sent flying in the sky. "Looks like Team Rocket and Team Neo are blasting off again!"
There was a big hole in the battlefield after the explosion.
After the battle, everyone was inside the building.
"I am terribly sorry, everyone." the head instructor apologizes to everyone. "Due to the intrusion of Team Rocket and Team Neo to interfere with the entire examination, we have to start over from the beginning."
"You mean after all that hard work we did?" Nurse Joy asked.
"Well young man?" he looks at Ash. "You and Jovan did a good job of getting rid of Team Rocket and Team Neo. What do you say, you want to give the test another try?"
"No thanks, sir. I'm sure."
"I'm sure you'll pass this time."
"Oh, it's not that. I think I'm better off getting badges my way for now." Ash assured him. "Right Pikachu?"
"Pika." Pikachu agreed.
"You've proved yourself to be a great battler after all." Misty said to him.
"Thanks, Misty. I guess so."
"Since you learned that lesson, I bet that taking the exam was good idea."
"I couldn't agree with you more on that, Misty." Jovan smiled. "It was great."
After leaving the building, Ash, Jovan, July and their friends were waving towards Nurse Joy and the head instructor in the afternoon.
Many roads lead to the Pokémon League. Their chosen path is to win all eight Gym Badges. Only then to Ash reach his ultimate goal, becoming a Pokémon Master.
Todd came rushing towards them with an injured Meowth in his arms. "Hey, where's Ash?"
"They already left to head to the next Gym." Nurse Joy answered. "What's wrong with that Meowth?"
"It got hurt in the explosion." Todd answered as he looks down at the Meowth.
"Ugh, where am I?" it opens its eyes, speaking.
"This must be..." the head instructor smiled as Todd hands the Meowth over.
"Meowth!" Meowth gasps, looking at his surroundings. "Where am I?! Where's Jessie?! Where's James?! Where's Lbby?! Where's Sam?! Where's Justin?!"
"I finally caught my talking Meowth." the head insructor smiled.
"Wait a minute, wait a minute!"
There seems to be a little mix up.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket and Team Neo was in the forest.
"The next time those twerps sees us, we will triumph." Sam declared.
"You have anything to say, Meowth?" Libby asks him.
Meowth turns around to look at her. "Meowth Owth."
Team Rocket and Team Neo looks at each in confusion.
