Chapter 45 Michael Korvac

Ryo was in his lab working on his machine, he was at his shield then Carol and Wasp came in.

"So why aren't you on the job?"Carol asked.

"I asked Jarvis to tell me if something happens."Wasp said."If Ryo didn't talk to Hank he could have left the team."She then saw Ryo."Oh no."they then ran behind him before the machine door opened normaly."That was a close one."

Ryo smiles and got excited running towards it making the girls giggle.

"He's like a small child when he makes a new bottle."Carol said.

He takes it out to reveal a transparent fullbottle with a black panther image."Bottle, I got a new one."

"We know, so what is it this time?"Wasp asked.

"It's a panther fullbottle, I asked Shuri for some new materials and she gave me, so I made this one."Ryo said.

"Well that's cool."Carol smirks.

They then heard the door making them go up stairs, they went to the front door and they opened it to reveal the police with a man ther with them.

"Is this a drop off? Because he doesn't exactly look like a supervillain."Wasp said.

"We found him in a crater in Central Park talking crazy. Thinks he's been abducted by aliens or somethin'."Officer said.

"Oh I see, so it might be similar to some of our friends."Ryo said."Thank you."he then takes the man with him.

The man then looks at Wasp and said:"Corrina? Corrina, we're not safe here."

"Um... Uh..."Wasp got confused.

"They keep coming after me, you can't be here. I... I can't-"he said.

"Uh, sir? My name is Janet. Are you okay?"Wasp said.

"Please, you have to protect me."he said.

"We will, but what's your name?"Ryo asked.

"Michael Korvac."he said.

They lead him to the elevator and went down.

"Okay Michael can you tell us what happened?"Ryo asked.

He stares at them before he starts screaming.

"Michael!"Wasp said.

"They took me. They took me into their ship. Corrina..."Michael said.

Ryo then slaps his face."Snap out of it, look I met people like you, even if the reason is different your not alone."

"Okay."he said but he then passes out.

They put him on a table while Jane straps him in with the others there.

"I'm pretty sure I've seen this movie before."Hawkeye said but Wasp punches him in the arm."Ow! What'd you hit me for? You're the one who zapped him into unconsciousness. And I'm supposed to buy that this guy got abducted by aliens and experimented on? Come on."

"Are you that much of an idiot, this happened to Mick once and we have seen aliens before."Ryo said.

"He's right. You didn't see the look in his eyes. He's scared. He's been going in and out of consciousness. Jane and I have been able to piece a lot of it together. He escaped from an alien ship, but more aliens are chasing him. We think Michael's trying to get back to Corrina. She could be his girlfriend, or his wife. Who knows how long he's been gone?"Wasp said.

"Obviously Earth is of interest to several alien races, but Mister Korvac's tale... has problems. How could a normal man escape from an advanced alien race, much less return to Earth?"Panther said.

"Maybe it was similar to what happened to Mick and the others."Ryo said.

"Was he infected by the Nebula Gas too?"Tony asked.

"No I checked, but there is something strange with his dna."Ryo said.

"When he wakes up, we'll ask him."Wasp said.

"When he wakes up, he's gonna flip out. You realize you put mister abductee here in a med lab, and strapped him to a table to get examined? Good thinking."Hawkeye said.

"Oh. Good point."Wasp said.

"Well, crazy or not, there's a crater in Central Park. He didn't make that up. Hawkeye, Panther, go check it out. I'll stay here with Jane and-"Tony said.

"I'm going to find Corrina."Wasp said.

"Uh, not exactly what I was going to say."Tony said.

"She's probably been looking for him this whole time. We can use some... facial recognition thingamajig and see if anyone put out a missing persons on him, because it's probably her."She then flies off.

"Okay then."Tony said.

"That's Jan to you."Ryo said.

Later Tony was at the kitchen with Hulk and Ryo with Michael sitting at a table alone.

"He seems okay physically. The scars on his back are rough. Though there's no internal damage, he's malnourished and dehydrated."Tony shows them a hologram."But here's where it gets strange. He's emitting some kind of energy, something I've never seen before. Huh, sorry. I guess this is a bit over your head."Tony said to Hulk.

"It's a form of cosmic radiation."Hulk said.

"He's right."Ryo was amazed.

"What?"Tony got surprised.

Then Panther and Hawkeye entered.

"There was residual cosmic radiation at the site."Panther said.

"Uh yeah. We found the same kind of thing on Korvac. I've already contacted Ms. Marvel, she's the S.W.O.R.D. liaison. They're supposed to be in charge off all this alien stuff."Tony said.

They then got a call from Wasp."Guys, I'm five minutes out. Meet me in the foyer. And bring Michael."

They went there with Michael and they saw Wasp come in with a woman that was Corrina.

"Michael?"She was stunned.

"Corrina, I-"Michael said and they hugged each other."I did it. I got back to you."

"Michael, you've been gone almost two years. I thought you left, I... I thought you weren't coming back."Corrina said.

"Two years?"Michael got surprised.

"Michael, what happened to you?"Corrina asked.

"I'll never let us be apart again, Corrina. I will never let them hurt me again. Any of them."Michael said.

"Who?"She asked.

Then a glow appeared and five figures appeared in orbs.

"Tony?"Wasp said.

"Avengers, protect Korvac."Ironman said and he looks at Hawkeye."Still think Korvac's making all this up?"

"I'm on the fence."Hawkeye said.

"Michael Korvac."Star Lord points a gun at him while speaking a alien language.

"No, no! Please, you have to help me."Michael said.

"So should we attack?"Ryo asked.

"Just wait, they're intelligent. Maybe we can-"Tony said but Wasp saw Star Lord talk to someone on his helmet.

"NO!"She then shoots him.

They then start to fight against them, Hawkeye fights Groot, Panther Adam Warlock, Iron Man fights Quasar, Rocket Racoon fights against Hulk and Ryo, he then shoots at them but then a red tentacle hits him away.

They saw it came from Ryo's arm and he said:"Nice try."he then got covered up by Toxin and he roars at the intruders.

Adam Warlock saw him and said:"A Klyntar."

"Okay so Toxin."Tony said.

Then Cubix and Toby in his Bat form came to help too, Cubix attacked Groot and Toby attacks Racoon who jumps away from the growling dog, then Toxin glows in red energy before he runs around the intruders and shoots blue fire at them.

"Ha ha ha, were too fast for you."Toxin said.

Adam Warlock then sent a sonic blast making Toxin scream holding his head."I know of your weaknesses."

He then changes back and Ryo puts on the driver."Rest for now Toxin."he then shakes two fullbottles.

HACHI! MARINE! BEST MATCH!

He then rotates the lever.

ARE YOU READY?

"Henshin."he then transforms.

SHINKAI NO SHIGOTONIN! HACHIMARINE! YEAH!

Wasp blinks and said."You had a bee form all this time."

"I know your wasp and I'm not a bee, but first them."Build said.

"I never seen this tech before."Star Lord said.

"Wasp take Michael and Corrina out of here."Build said and he shoots a missile at them making one of them put up a shield to block it.

"We have to go. Back there, through the stairs. Go!"Wasp said to the couple making them run.

Hulk fight off against Groot with Cubix helping him, then Build rotates the lever.

READY, GO!

He then uses his marine arm to shoot him foward like a torpedo and he stabs Groot in the back with his stinger on his right hand's finger.

VORTEX FINISH!

He then makes him explode and they look at Rocket Raccoon."Better look behind you, mate."Groot then comes back.

"I am Groot."he said charging at them.

He then knocks Build back sending him through a wall, he rubs his head and he saw someone behind him, he sees a female figure and she then attacks him, he then fights while she punches and kicks him, until he sees she has a metal arm, she then tackles him to the ground and said:"Where is Adam Warlock?"

"Wait the guy we're fighting."Build got surprised.

The rest of the Avengers were at the hanger with the Guardians of the galaxy and Miss Marvel enters the mansion to see mess that was made."Well, that's not good."She then sees Build get sent away."Ryo!"she goes to his side."What happened?"

"Someone else is here."Build said and they ran to the hangar.

They then saw everyone on the ground and Carol went to they're side."No. Jan, Jan! Wake up, please!"

Build then saw someone behind her."Carol look out!"

Korvac tries attacking Ms. Marvel from behind, but she blasts him but he took it, she then tries it again with Build helping her out, he then sees the woman in the shadows again watching with a device on her hand, then he knocks the both on the ground before eveyrthing changed.

Build wakes up and sees the Avengers in a strange merged area of wakanda and other places."Where are we?"

"This is not Wakanda."Panther said.

"Guys."Wasp goes up to them."Where are we?"

"What the heck is going on here?"Hawkeye said before it changes to the Stark Tower.

"What's goin' on here is that you ape people need to knock this off."Raccoon said appearing with the others.

"Quasar, do something about this?"Star Lord said and she touches Adam Warlock's head.

"Adam, hear me."She said.

Then it changes to a forest.

"Okay, enough. I want answers. Who are you people? Who is Michael Korvac?"Tony asked.

"And where are we? And why can you weird aliens speak English now?"Wasp asked.

"We are speaking mind-to-mind though the power of Adam Warlock's Soul Gem."Quasar said making them confused again.

Star Lord facepalms."Okay, that probably didn't help explain things. Look, my name is Peter Quill. I'm the leader of the Guardians."

"He's the Star-Lord. Respect him."Raccoon said.

"Rocket... We're an intergalactic peacekeeping force. We work together to keep the known galaxy stable."Star Lord said.

"Guardians of the Galaxy. Sort of like Space Avengers."Tony said.

"This is Quasar. Mister personality here is Rocket Raccoon. The big tree is Groot."Star Lord introduced his team.

"I am Groot."Groot said.

"Anytime there's an imbalance detected, thanks to Warlock here, we intervene and deal with the situation. Whatever it may be. And in this case, it's Korvac. He's a threat bigger than anything we've ever seen."Star Lord said.

"From what we have discovered, it appears he was a Kree test subject that escaped."Quasar said.

"We're... familiar with the Kree."Tony said.

"Got that right."Build said.

"Whatever the Kree did, it changed him. A latent genetic potential within humanity, perhaps. We had never seen anything like it. The Kree ship was destroyed."Quasar said.

"By the time we got wind of it all, Korvac somehow had ended up on a space station. He destroyed it, too. Along with a chunk of the planet's surface below. A Rigellian Recorder caught an image of Korvac in space just hovering in the debris, laughing, and then he disappeared. We've been tracking his energy signature across the galaxy. Finally, to here. Earth."Star Lord said.

Adam then wakes up." I can feel him. Korvac's power grows. As does his madness. He would've destroyed us all, had I not pulled us into the Soul Gem."

"Can we beat him?"Tony asked.

"Not physically."Star Lord said.

"Our plan was to keep him occupied long enough to let Warlock pull him in here. Into the Soul Gem. You may have noticed, but it didn't work out so well."Adam said.

"So wait. If we're in here, where's Korvac?"Hawkeye said.

"Carol!"Build got worried.

He then teleports them there and saw Michael fighting Ms. Marvel, Build then punches him away and he lands on the ground with everyone surrounding him.

"No, that's not possible."Michael said.

"Michael, we can help you. But you have to stop this."Wasp said.

"No no no no no no. What they did to me, I won't let that happen again. Not to anyone. Now I can stop them. I can feel the power inside of me."He then starts to glow again.

He goes to attack by a beam from the sky and they looked up shocking the guardians, since the attacker was Galacta and she has her arm out."Need some help."

"Galacta!"Quasar said.

He then gets up and tries to blast her but she eats his blast shocking him."Not bad."

"No."He then looks at Corrina and she was scared."Corrina?"

"Please, Michael. Stop. You're scaring me."She said.

"Scared... Of me? No no no. Corrina, I'm going to protect you. I'm doing all of this for you, to make the monsters go away!"he said.

"You're the only monster here, Michael."She said.

Michael got sad before a shock zaps him shocking everyone before he vanished, Build then looks around and shoots a missile at a tree making the attack come out, they saw it was the woman her appearance was revealed with her skin being Blue and purple.

"Nebula, I should have known."Star Lord said.

She chuckles and said:"Yeah, but it's too late."

"So that's why Michael acted like that, he wa smind controled."Build said.

"Maybe so, but I'm not afraid of you or her, since miss little Gali doesn't like using her powers, so bye."she then vanishes.

"Michael."Corrina got sad.

Tony goes up to Star Lord."If this is the kind of thing the Guardians deal with, then we should talk."

"Yeah, I don't think so. There are things out there in the universe you're better off not knowing about."Star Lord said.

"Oh come on, we know Galactus daughter and you think we wouldn't know, I bet you guys don't know what nebula gas is."Build said.

"Nebula what?"Star Lord said.

"Oops."Build said.

"Ryo!"most of his team said.

"I did sense a strange energy coming out of him."Adam said.

"Okay wise guy, what is the Nebula Gas?"Star Lord said.

"Why, you won't tell us about space I don't have a reason to tell you about the Nebula Gas."Build said.

"He has a point."Tony smirks making him grunt.

Galacta lands next to Build and said:"I like your style."she smirks.

In a space ship Nebula was alone and she then goes to her computer, she then types on her screen and a green woman with red hair appeared."Did you find the stone?"

"Yes, but the Guardians had help with some other team."Nebula said.

"I see, well we need to find the others since he told us."Green woman said.

"I know Gamora, I know."Nebula said.

Note: The Guardians of the Galaxy appeared and two new characters as well being Gamora and Nebula, think they're new designs from the comics or the movies, Michael this time was a pawn of Nebula and she used him to defeat the Guardians to get one of the stones.
