"NO!" Luffy retorted. "We have to go higher."

"WHAT?" The knight wondered. "Mugiwara, don't talk nonsense! Even you will never be able to survive this."

" We have no choice. " Luffy retorted. "If Enel is allowed to attack the island, everyone will die."

Thinking back to his fight on Maxim, he assured.

"I'm the only one who can face his power."

" Really ? "

" Mugiwara stop believing in miracles, you're only making a fool of yourself. " Enel affirmed. "Even a rubber man can do nothing against my divine power."

"SHUT UP! You're not a god! And even if you were one, I wouldn't be afraid to face you! Do you want to destroy Skypiea? Imbecile! I would never let you! EVER!"

Suddenly, he was surprised to feel Pierre fly towards the huge sphere of lightning.

Raising their eyes to the sky, everyone in Upper Yard or Skypiea saw lightning falling from the sky and heading towards Luffy. Yet, letting out a battle cry, the boy thrust his trapped arm skyward, and let his giant ball take the lightning.

" Everyone. " Luffy thought, while trying to find out the exact number of people who had fought today to allow him to be where he was. " I promise you, you didn't do all this for nothing. "

Then, everyone saw him disappear into the sphere of lightning.

" LUFFY ? " Usopp frightened, as Heracross had just landed on the ground.

"Mugiwara?" Bellamy wondered.

"Tsssss." Smoker and Wiper growled.

Also looking at Luffy's suicidal gesture, while still standing on Nola's head, Marco affirmed.

"This guy is crazy! It's suicide."

However, calmer than him, Kuina had the impression of seeing something change.

Hearing this, Enel was surprised to compare Luffy to Zarax. Nevertheless shaking his head, he retorted.

Staring at Luffy, Enel questioned him.

"Do you think this bell will actually ring to announce the release of Skypiea...or to accompany your funeral? AMAL !"

Letting the lightning cover him, Enel seemed to transform into a lightning giant, who faced Luffy.

" What ? "

"Mugiwara, you know gold, don't you? When you burn it, it doesn't melt! Nevertheless, the heat of lightning is able to accomplish this."

Creating electricity around him, he assured.

"I'm certain that your body has a limit and that my power at the maximum is capable of annihilating you."

"Even if that's the case, I'll just have to defeat you first." Luffy retorted, running towards him.

"Amateur!" Enel roared, clasping his two hands together. " LAST JUDGMENT !"

Creating a sphere of lightning, he transformed it into a ray of lightning, which swooped down on Luffy.

" DIE ! "

Eyes widening, Luffy suddenly twirled his imprisoned arm, before launching his golden ball towards Enel's attack. Striking the lightning, the giant sphere managed to scatter the electricity to the side.

However, as it headed towards Enel, the giant sphere eventually came to a halt, while part of its surface began to melt due to lightning.

"HAHAHAHA! BAKAYARO!" laughed Enel. "Didn't you hear what I told you? Your miserable golden ball will disappear in a few seconds."

Increasing the intensity of his attack to knock Luffy's arm back, he assured.

"This is my victory."

Can only clench his teeth, Luffy felt his feet kick back.

" DAMN IT ! "

Hattrem use MAGICAL LEAF.

Startled, Enel felt holes appear in his lightning body, as a storm of leaves attacked him.

Suddenly, appearing above the platform, several pokemons were visible.

"GLALIE!" the pokemon shouted, while Lucario was visible on its head.

"CORVISQUIRE!" cried the crow, as he carried Hattrem.

" FLYGON ! "

being with them, a green pokemon flew through the sky, while carrying male Absol on his back. Immediately, Lucario and Absol left behind their companions before appearing behind Enel.

Lucario use AURA SPHERE .

Absol use SHADOW BALL.

Feeling the two attacks crash into his body and explode, Enel growled in displeasure. Of course, he didn't feel the pain. However, he couldn't both rebuild his damaged body and still attack Luffy. But if his body was too damaged, he couldn't concentrate enough to maintain the power of his attack.

Knowing this, the pokemons attacked him more. Feeling part of his back being destroyed, Enel glared at them. Then, managing to continue attacking Luffy with one hand, he wielded the second behind him before creating numerous lightning bolts.

"Disappear!"

Immediately, his attacks hit Lucario and Absol, who were electrocuted. Managing to avoid them, the flying pokemon gained altitude, before launching ranged attacks.

Feeling the back of his head being rammed, Enel immediately attempted to cover his damaged body with lightning. But already, Luffy felt the strength of his attack diminish and he managed to take a step forward.

Seeing this, as he continued to get bombarded, Enel roared.

" Mind your own business. "

More lightning left his body and managed to hit the three flying pokemon. Nonetheless, leaping out of Corvisquire's back, Hattrem dropped down towards Enel.

Hat strap use PSYBEAM .

Feeling another attack hit him, Enel roared in rage, before raising his good hand and slamming the pokemon.

" DIE ! "

Hitting, the pokemon fell to the ground, not far from Luffy.

" POKEMON ! "

"It's your turn, Mugiwara." Enel affirmed, focusing only on Luffy.

Managing to increase the intensity of his attack, Enel smiled, hearing the giant sphere rapidly crack.

"When you are in the next world, say hello to the gods for me."

Luffy clenched his teeth and tried to stretch his arm forward. Nevertheless, Enel's attack power was too strong for him, while his injured and exhausted body couldn't match Enel's power.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Smiling as he heard her scream, Enel prepared to deliver the final blow. However, he stopped, seeing a source of light begin to shine.

" Huh ? "

instead of Hattrem, he saw a body light up, before growing and standing up.

" What ? "

Then, instead of the little pokemon, the duo saw a new pokemon appear.

" HATTERENE ! "

"How?" Luffy wondered.

"She evolved." Enel understood.

Getting ready to attack the pokemon, Enel got attacked again from the back, while Lucario and the others had forced themselves to see themselves rushing towards him, Enel created a sphere of lightning around him before ejecting him on all sides. Hit, the pokemon cried out in agony, before collapsing.

However, this diversion allowed Hatterene to head towards Luffy, before placing the appendix of her strange hat on the pirate's head.

Immediately feeling his fatigue disappearing, Luffy thought he felt his strength increase tenfold. Then, screaming, he forced himself to take a step forward.

Nonetheless, resting his good arm on the floor, Luffy continued to scream, before suddenly letting his legs act like push-ups. Then, behind him, Hatterene saw smoke appear around him.

" HATTE ... ? "

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Luffy shouted, throwing his arm forward and scattering Enel's lightning with what was left of his giant sphere.

Eyes widening, seeing his attack being repelled, Enel remained still, even as Luffy's fist closed in on him. And that was when Luffy's aura changed. It changed into something totally different from the aura of a mere human.

"Mugiwara...actually, I had no chance of defeating you."

" GUM GUM ... "

"You are like what Zarax told me."

" ... GOLD RIFLE ! "

"You are the human who can become a god."

Then, the next moment, he felt Luffy punch him hard enough to knock him back.

"I don't care about being a god! Me... I'm the one who will become the Pirate King."

Then, he ejected Enel in the direction of the giant bell.

Opening her eyes, Suzuka sat up before being surprised, noticing that she was on cloud nine.

"It's over! This stupid war is finally over."

" I think the opposite. " Retorted Gan Fall. "After all, I'm sure the next god on this island will make better decisions than me."

"Wiper...I so wish we could listen to the sound of that bell, while we both drank a glass of pumpkin juice."

"Moron." Wiper growled, starting to light a cigarette.

Then, he looked at the sky, before expiring to smoke it.

"I'm warning you...I hate pumpkin juice! So I'll only drink one glass."

However, he froze when he saw Gan Fall close his eyes and turn his head to the side.

" Huh ? Old Man ? "

Gan Fall remained silent.

" OYE ! OLD MAN ! "

Starting to shake him, Wiper got no reaction from him. Then, putting his hand on his body, he finally stopped, before realizing that waking him up was useless.

Gan Fall, ancient god of Skypiea...was dead.
