"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
With a roar worthy of a wild beast, Moyo spread his arms wide. Then, letting a huge ball of metal, having a diameter of two meters, come to him, the man bent his legs, before feeling the impact. Behind him, the three other people in his group saw him back several meters, before managing to stop the enormous metallic sphere.
Then, letting out another cry, Moyo pushed the ball in front of him before rolling it to the other end of the corridor. Crushing the mechanisms in its path, the giant sphere unleashed a deluge of traps, as the quartet saw them appear without endangering them.
Finally, seeing the metallic sphere crashing into a wall, Isuka couldn't help but say.
" Sugoi. "
Hearing this, Moyo turned to her, before tapping the muscles in his arm.
"I admit that these are not the muscles of an amateur! My musculature is my greatest pride. "
"You have no class." Cavendish said. "You look and act like a gorilla."
"Is that true?" Moyo asked, smiling, scratching the back of his head.
"That wasn't a compliment, asshole." The blond roared.
Leaving them behind, Karly was already walking. Hearing footsteps behind him, he asked.
"So you're also part of the Navy."
"Huh... Aye!" Isuka affirmed. "I'm Lieutenant Isuka! It's an honor to meet Akainu-san's son."
"Do you know my father?"
" Of course. " Assura Isuka.
Speaking with joy, she assured.
"Along with my superior, Akainu-san has always been one of my two heroes since I dreamed of joining the Navy! I have always respected his mentality of always facing pirates and making them pay for their crime! I want to be like him and become a true pillar of justice."
"Is that why you're chasing Portgas?"
"Huh...yeah." Isuka said, trying to answer confidently.
Giving her a brief look, Karly affirmed.
"If you want, I can talk about you to my father so that you can work directly under his orders?"
" REALLY ? " Said Isuka.
"But I prefer to warn you, the training he will force you to undergo will be worse than hell! I advise you to think carefully before saying your answer."
Suddenly, a new mechanism kicked in and the walls around them moved in a way that crushed them.
"What?" Cavendish and Moyo wondered, seeing the pair about to get crushed.
Not even being able to react, Isuka suddenly saw Karly cross his arms in front before relaxing at full speed. And immediately, his two fists hit the two walls which tried to flatten him, and just with the force of the impact, he managed to stop them, while many cracks appeared where his fists had touched the wall .
" What... ? " Isuka wondered.
"Too easy." Karly affirmed, while he didn't seem to have used all his power to stop this trap at all.
"Hey, are you okay?" Moyo asked, running towards them.
Suddenly, the blade of a huge chainsaw came out of a wall, before heading towards his face.
"What?" He shouted, trying to stop himself.
Nevertheless, someone passed him, before hitting the chainsaw blade.
"Try to think with your brain." Cavendish growled, as his sword sliced the chainsaw in half.
Then, sheathing his weapon, he wondered.
"It makes me wonder if the other group manages to survive."
"I confess I like looking at myself in front of a mirror... but there, there is exaggeration. " Affirmed Snake.
Having stopped in front of a large room, he and the three other people who accompanied him saw that the walls of the room in front of them were made only with mirrors.
"You think this is where Hyou admires himself?" Ace asked.
"Honestly, I would mostly feel like I'm being watched by hundreds of people." Snake stated.
"Do you think this place is also trapped?" Yank asked.
Suddenly, a foot hit the back of the young girl and the impact propelled her in the room, while she fell to the ground.
"Huh?" Snake wondered, turning back to Cordio.
"Check it out for us." The eldest of the small group said, not feeling a shred of guilt.
Suddenly, coming out of the ceiling, a weapon, resembling a camera showed up, before projecting a small red laser beam, which headed towards Yank. Frightened, the girl found herself paralyzed.
Still, she felt her body shift as an arm wrapped around her waist. Jumping up next, Ace saw the laser beam pass below them, while he could only touch a few strands of Yank's hair. In an instant, the laser beam ripped through her hair, charring everything it touched.
"Is this a joke?" Asked the pirate.
Continuing on its way, the laser beam hit the ground. Also covered in mirrors, the surface managed to deflect the attack, which ricocheted off a wall. Thus, the laser beam was deflected ten times, because of the mirrors of the room, before heading towards the entrance. Finding himself in its way, Snake took a step to the side to avoid him. However, Cordio's hand gripped the back of his clothes and he used a strong grip to immobilize the man.
"What?" Snake wondered, while Cordio used his body as a shield.
The next moment, the laser beam hit Snake's body, which had no time to struggle.
"Sorry." Cordio said, pretending to blame himself. "But there's no way I'm dying here."
Still, he was startled, seeing the laser beam deflect as it ricocheted off Snake's body.
" HOW ? "
"Never underestimate the intelligence of a scientist."
Having pulled the dagger from his sleeve, Snake had positioned the blade of the weapon in the path of the laser beam, in order to deflect it again. Then, shaking his second arm, Snake pulled a new dagger from his sleeve, before throwing the weapon at the origin of the laser beam.
In an instant, the blade of his dagger hit the laser pointer, and managed to pulverize its electronic system. And immediately, the laser beam disappeared, proof that Snake had just destroyed the device.
However, not having finished, Snake twirled his first dagger between his fingers, before moving his arm behind his back. And without needing to look at him, he stabbed through Cordio's arm.
"AHHHHHHHH!" the man yelled, feeling the blade cut through his flesh.
Then, Snake's hand gripped his collar and the man gave him a grip worthy of a martial weapons champion, before throwing his body in the center of the room. Falling heavily to the ground, Cordio groaned in pain as he tried to straighten up.
Twirling his dagger between his fingers again, Snake declared.
"If you're going to sacrifice me, I'd rather tell you right now that I wouldn't hesitate to kill you to stay alive."
Then, the mobster saw Ace coming towards him, while growling.
"For you, is this your definition of teaming up?"
In response, Cordio stood up with a groan, before pulling out his two revolvers.
"My life is much more important than those of three losers like you! I am Cordio, the..."
Suddenly, a laser beam hit the back of his neck, destroying his medulla, before going through his throat.
Startled, the three people moved aside to avoid being hit by the attack, while Cordio's body fell to the ground. Then, Snake and Ace noticed that several more laser-pointers had come out of the walls, before firing several laser beams.
Seeing one of them heading towards him, Ace used his flames to destroy it. However, not seeming to be vulnerable to his attack, the laser beam continued its way through the flames, before passing through Ace's body.
Growling, as he found himself with a hole in his chest, the pirate grumbled.
"These lasers are annoying."
Behind his back, two laser beams tried to pierce him.
"HERE!" Yank yelled, seeing them coming towards them.
Ace used his flames again. However, instead of attacking the laser beams, he hit the ground with his fist. And immediately, part of the ground was pulverized and pieces of mirror flew around Ace. Hitting them, the laser beams were deflected and one of them went towards one of the laser pointers. Getting pierced, the device exploded slightly reducing the number of laser beams.
Then, grabbing a large piece of mirror that he had managed to pull out of the floor, Ace gave it to Yank before pushing her into a corner of the room.
"Crouch up and use that mirror as a shield." The pirate ordered her.
Then, getting ready to attack the laser pointers, Ace saw Snake grabbing another piece of mirror. Then, observing several laser beams heading towards him, Snake simply positioned the mirror in their direction and refracted them in such a way as to aim them at laser pointers, which exploded.
"Hey, not bad." Ace remarked, as several lasers shot through his body. "How do you do that?"
"It's not complicated." Snake asserted, deflecting another laser beam with a dagger. "Even though these beams seem to be able to move in all directions, there is still a limit to their movements! In addition, Hyou has arranged the laser pointers so that their beams do not pierce them, ricocheting against the walls."
Deflecting another laser beam, he assured.
"By factoring their displacements in my head, the equation to calculate the refraction needed to deflect the beams towards the pointers is quite simple to obtain! I just have to look at them for a few moments."
"I see..." Ace said. "Nevertheless, there is a simpler solution."
Stretching his arms out in front of him, the pirate let more lasers pierce him as he asserted.
"Even though these lasers are dangerous, Hyou is unable to introduce seastone into them."
Then, Ace moved his arms in such a way as to create a torrent of flames which went towards the remaining laser-pointers.
Dumbfounded, Snake and Yank heard numerous explosions, while the remaining lasers disappeared. In an instant, Ace had pulverized a dozen weapons without the slightest effort.
"It's almost cheating when our ally has the powers of a Logia." Snake remarked.
"Isn't it?" Ace questioned, turning to him.
Suddenly, a new weapon came out of the ceiling. Nevertheless, resembling a rifle, the weapon targeted Ace, before firing a seastone bullet. However, before Ace could react, a piece of mirror was thrown between him and the projectile. Hit, the mirror exploded into pieces but managed to deflect the projectile enough for Ace to feel it pass close to him.
Then running towards Ace, Snake put a foot on his back and used it as a springboard. Then, pulling two new daggers out of his sleeves, he aimed them at the gun and used his blades to slash the gun and destroy it.
He then fell to his feet, just like the gun parts. Seeing the danger gone, Ace turned to Yank, who had thrown the piece of mirror to protect Ace.
" Thanks ! "
"Huh...it's nothing."
"What about me? I'm not allowed a compliment?" Snake asked, putting away his daggers.
In response, one of the mirrors disappeared and gave way to a door.
"The exit." Ace observed. "It means that we have braved all the pitfalls of this room.
"Tssss! I'm starting to find visiting this mansion quite annoying." Snake declared. "Let's hurry and finish the rest quickly."
"And…what about him?" Yank asked, looking at Cordio's body.
Barely lowering his gaze towards him, Ace saw the many holes that the laser beams had formed in the corpse of the former mobster, ricocheting against the walls. If the first attack hadn't killed him, it was clear that the others had completely finished him off.
" There's nothing more for him to do. " Ace assured. "And anyway, there was no longer any question of him teaming up with us."
"Finally, when you think about it, Hyou truly managed to kill someone bad."
"What are you trying to say?"
"That deserves to be a thesis in philosophy." Affirmed Snake. "We say what Hyou is doing is wrong because we are those targets! Nevertheless, with all the murders he has committed, hasn't Hyou literally saved thousands of lives? 'he killed were really killers.'

Having again found themselves at the end of a corridor, which split in two different directions, the second quartet had decided to play "ROCK! PAPER! SCISSORS" to choose the new teams and the directions they would take.

"We take this path."
"So, we'll take the other one." Isuka understood, being with Cavendish.
"Never mind." The pirate said, starting to walk again. "Just try to stay alive."
"Count on us." Moyo assured.
But while he put on a confident smile, Karly put on a still stoic face.
"Hey, Soldier-man." Moyo called. "Just one question...if I save your life, is there a possibility my bounty will disappear?"
"Huh? Aren't you happy to be known?"
"Honestly, I don't care if I'm famous." Moyo asserted. "All I want is to be able to fight! That's why I became a mercenary! What I like is to meet powerful people to fight! Of course, my contracts m 'force to kill these people but honestly, I don't take any pleasure in doing that."
Karly remained silent, before asking.
"Do you have family or friends?"
"My parents died when I was a kid." Moyo affirmed. "I had to fend for myself to survive, until I joined a gang."
Extending his smile, he affirmed.
"Today, I am the leader of this gang and for me, the people who are part of it are my brothers and sisters! They are my family."
Again there was silence.
"I never thought a criminal like you could say such things."
" Huh ? "
Suddenly, crossbows appeared and fired arrows at the duo.
"Don't get any ideas." Karly affirmed, managing to stop one of the projectiles between her fingers. "For now, I will make sure Hyou is arrested and then I will deal with the criminals who are still alive."
"Tssss! You're no fun." Moyo affirmed, hitting more arrows. "But, in truth, I didn't expect anything else from the Navy."
Then, the duo turned to the crossbows, before launching their projectiles, pulverizing them.
"That's when Hyou shows up." Moyo growled.
Suddenly, the mercenary stopped, seeing a huge double-door in front of him.
"Huh?" "What's that again?" "
"Surely a booby-trapped room. "' Karly said.
However, finding that it was the only door in the hallway they were in, the pair were forced to head for the double doors. Putting his hand on it, Moyo quickly noticed that it wasn't made of wood.
"A metal double door! I wonder if I'll be able to smash it."
"Drop that idea, I bet you it has seastone in it too."
"How do you plan to open it then?"
Shrugging at first, Karly ends up reaching for the door, before knocking. Seeing him acting like he was asking permission to enter the room, Moyo scoffed.

A noise silenced him and the man saw the double doors open.
"Is this a joke?" he asked.
"A little politeness never hurt anyone." Karly affirmed.
Still, he remained motionless, just like Moyo. Wearing stoic faces, the duo stared at the huge desk in front of them, while Hyou sat behind, along with Nodeath and Kamy.
Displaying a mournful smile, as he stared at the pair, Hyou declared.
"Indeed, it is always comforting that some people can show politeness instead of using violence to destroy the doors."
Then, slowly moving his arms, he managed to clasp his hands together, before clapping lightly.
"Congratulations! Karly-san...Moyo-san...you're the first to arrive."
" Tsssss! Your congratulations, you can keep them for yourself. " Moyo retorted.
"Still, you deserve them." Hyou affirmed. "To tell you the truth, this is the seventh party I've hosted inside this mansion and the first time I've seen one of my guests come all the way here! "Are no ordinary criminals! Maybe God wants you to stay alive."
Looking thoughtful, he asked.
"Do you want to help me fulfill my justice?"
" Sorry ? "
"Even if I have already killed hundreds of criminals, there are still several thousand of these demons spread across the world! If God spared you, it is certainly to allow you to join my cause! you? are you ready to help me?"

Nevertheless, having moved faster than him, Nodeath appeared in front of the Vice Admiral and raised his knee high enough to strike his chin. Feeling her teeth chatter, Karly backed away. Taking advantage, Nodeath hit him in the abdomen with his elbow.
Finding its target, the attack crushed the diaphragm of Karly who gasped. Then, spinning, Nodeath lifted his foot before hitting the face of the Vice Admiral, who flew backwards before crashing into a shelf. Groaning in pain, he then crashed to the ground.
"Soldier-man?" Moyo wondered.
Then, he saw Kamy find herself in front of him.
"Moyo-sana...I don't like violence! Can you stand still while I kill you?"
"SHUT UP!" roared the mercenary, aiming his fist at her.
Just standing still, Kamy let her eyes turn blue. Then, seeming to see the attack in slow motion, Kamy delicately put her hand on his fist, before applying enough pressure to deflect the attack.
"What...?" Moyo wondered, seeing his fist swing to the left.
Then, Kamy's leg positioned itself in front of Moyo's and the maid managed to take advantage of his momentum to unbalance him and make him fall to the ground. Crashing like a potato sack, Moyo then got up as his fall had made his nose bleed.
"YOU..." he roared.
"My apologies, Moyo-san." Kamy apologized, bowing to him. "It seems I was rude and didn't introduce myself! My name is Kamy, a servant to Hyou-sama for 14 years! In truth, I am also one of his bodyguards."
Not caring about her biography, Moyo stood up before attempting to hit her with his fists and feet. But despite all his power, the man's attacks were ineffective, while Kamy continued to deflect them with very little effort.

"And with my years of training to become an aikido expert, it's easy for me to defeat fighters who only use their muscles to beat them."
Then showing a more serious look, she affirmed.
"Hyou-sama's life comes before mine! If you want to approach him, you'll have to kill me first."
" You little ... "
Sitting behind his desk, Hyou was chuckling as he saw Moyo get up while mumbling. For his part, also struggling to get back on his feet, Karly saw Nodeath approaching him, while covering his fists with a black metallic skin.
" Busoshoku haki. " Hyou's bodyguard affirmed.
"Tsssss! So what?"
Imitating him, Karly showed he was unimpressed with his opponent's power.
"If you want to become a vice-admiral, it's the minimum power to have.
Then the two men rushed towards each other.
