"Wait! Please! I can explain."
Head down, Bellamy was above the ocean, while his face had many kick marks. Holding him by his leg, Sanji declared.
"Here, we don't take stowaways! Next time pay for a ticket."
" Wait ! "
"Huh?" Luffy wondered, seeing the pair. "Baka-my? What are you doing here?"
"You been on our boat since we left Skypiea?" Nami wondered. "What else do you want from us?"
Pulling out one of his sabers, Zoro questioned him.
"Are you here for revenge?"
"No, not at all! Hang on guys, we fought together, right? Don't tell me you still consider me your enemy.
"To tell the truth, I only have to see your face to make me want to hit you." Raynare affirmed. "You picked on Lucy when we were in Mock Town, I see no reason why I would consider you a friend."
Not knowing what to say to him, Bellamy turned to Luffy.
"Hey, Mugiwara! I helped you in Skypiea, didn't you ? You asked for my help to defeat Enel and I did! You're still not going to tell me that you forgot that . "
" No! By the way, thank you for your help. " Luffy told him.
Then, no one said anything, while Bellamy still hovered above the water. Finally, the blond roared.
"TELL HIM GET ME BACK ON THE BOAT!"
Simply growling, Sanji finally hoisted him up and threw him against the mast.
"Hey, that hurts." Bellamy roared, straightening up.
Nonetheless, he swallowed in fear, seeing Wiper's bazooka right in front of his face.
"Hey, Mugiwara! Are you really sure you want to trust him? I don't have very good memories of him."
"First of all, what are you doing here?" Asked Bruno. "Why are you on our boat?"
"I had no choice." Bellamy asserted. "Smoker and the pokemon took the only available ships that could sail here."
"Why didn't you go with the pokemons?" Gin asked.
"No question of sailing here with animals as the only crew! It's death assured. "
"And what do you want us to do with you?" Zoro asked, with a menacing look.
"Hey, I'm not asking much! I'm just asking that you allow me to stay here until we reach an island! I'm not asking much of you."
"In view of the fact that you wanted to kill us..." Lucy began.
"That's in the past." Bellamy assured. "And then ... "
Suddenly, he fell silent, hearing a noise coming from under his clothes.
"Huh?" He wondered, placing his hand under his jacket.
Suddenly, his eyes widening, he seemed to tremble with fear, as he now held a den-den mushi in his hand. Pink in color, the snail also had dark pink sunglasses that hid its eyes. Seeming to feel intense fear, Bellamy froze in fear.
"Damn it! He's calling me... He's calling me to find out if I managed to kill you."
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Luffy questioned him.
"My captain." Bellamy affirmed. "It's him calling me! It's Donquixote Doflamingo."
Immediately, Vivi's eyes widened, while Johnny and Yosaku opened their mouths wide.
" Do ... Do ... Do ... DOFLAMINGO ? "
"Doflamingo?" Gin wondered, starting to think. "His name means something to me."
"Smoker said his name." Lucy affirmed. "When we were in Alabasta, he asked me what my connection was to him."
"Your connection with him ?" Raynare repeated. "What did he mean?"
"I don't know." Lucy confessed. "When we were celebrating our victory against Enel, I wanted to ask him the question, but he had simply told me that he had made a mistake! I really don't know what he wanted to tell me. "
"Huh...who is Doflamingo?" Nami asked.
"A shishibukai." Robin affirmed.
"WHAT?" Nami, Usopp and Chopper frightened. "Why is he calling this guy?"
"Because I'm one of his subordinates." Bellamy stated, still shaking. "And since he knew about my defeat by the fallen angel, he wanted me to take revenge and bring him Mugiwara's head! The time has now passed."
Remaining silent, everyone just watched the den-den mushi continue to ring. But as he was about to go back to sleep, the snail was grabbed by a hand. Bringing it to his mouth, Luffy affirmed.
" Hi ! Here Luffy ! "
"BAKAYARO!" shouted half the crew.
"Mu... Mugi..." Bellamy mumbled.
" Luffy? " A voice came from the den-den mushi in wonder.
A sinister laugh was heard.
" You must be Monkey D. Luffy, right? Nice to meet you! Tell me, was it really you who defeated Crocodile? "
"Yeah." The pirate affirmed. " And you, who are you ? "
" Who am I? Do I really need to introduce myself? Mugiwara, it makes me sad to know that the whole planet doesn't know my name! But if you want to know, my name is Doflamingo! I am one of the seven Shichibukais. "
Hearing this confirmation, several people began to swallow in fear.
" Tell me, Mugiwara! If you have this den-den mushi in your possession, I guess you killed my subordinate. "
"Not at all." Luffy retorted. "He's in front of me."
" Oh? Really? Haven't you fought before? "
"We fought a week ago already." Luffy assured. "And I won."
There was a short silence. Then, Doflamingo laughed again.
" Bellamy is so pathetic! He sure does show off to second-tier pirates, but honestly, he's no match for real pirates. "
Hearing this, Bellamy lowered his head, as if afraid that Doflamingo would find a way to stare at him.
"Baka-my came to me to kill me and I defeated him." Luffy assured. "What are you going to do now? Come here to kill me?"
"LUFFY, SHUT UP!" Nami and Usopp ordered him.
Again Doflamingo laughed.
" Do you seriously think I'm going to waste my time looking for you, in order to avenge a subordinate like him? Mugiwara, you overestimate yourself! Don't worry, your head doesn't interest me. "
Hearing this, Nami and Usopp breathed a sigh of relief.
"Praise God."
" Nevertheless, I have a proposal for you Mugiwara. "
"A proposal?" Luffy repeated.
" How about working for me? I'm not used to recruiting weaklings! However, since you defeated Bellamy, I think you automatically passed your test! So, what do you think? Do you agree to join me and become my new subordinate? Of course, this offer is also addressed to all your crew! And if you want to know all the advantages of working for me, don't hesitate to ask me! I 've got a full list of... "
" I refuse to work under a jester like you. " Luffy retorted.
This time, Doflamingo stopped laughing, while his den-den mushi stopped smiling.
" Excuse me? "
"You're Bellamy's captain, aren't you? And you're not going to do anything to help him?"
" Why would I? If I'm going to avenge all the incompetents who claim to be my subordinates, I should spend my whole life hunting down all the guys who defeated them! No, thanks! But actually, what's that got to do with you? "Shouldn't you be glad I didn't come all the way to kill you? "
"I'm not afraid of you! And know one thing...I would never associate with an asshole like you, who doesn't take care of his men! Anyway, I have no desire to work for you! And you know why?"
Inhaling a large amount of air, he finally screamed.

Hearing this, Luffy's most fearful friends started sobbing comically.

"Luffy-aniki just sentenced us." Yosaku stated.

"Of course he's powerful." Usopp affirmed. "Damn it! If he's as strong as Crocodile, we might get killed again."
"What do we do if he has the powers of a Logia?" Johnny asked. "Enel was only defeated by Luffy-aniki, only because the lightning had no effect on him."
Not knowing what to answer, the pirates ended up waiting for Doflamingo's answer, and honestly, seeing the many veins of rage that appeared on the den den mushi, they were likely to be very angry. Yet, to everyone's surprise, a sinister smile appeared as Doflamingo's laughter was heard again.
" Mugiwara...you're just as I expected! Guys like you...I don't usually see them very often! Listen, I'm really busy right now, so I don't I don't really have time for you! But... "
Using a more sinister tone, he declared.
" When you meet me on the other side of the Grand Line, be sure that I will be there to welcome you! Until then, I wish you a pleasant journey. "
Then the den-den mushi fell silent, before falling asleep.
"Hey, he hung up." Luffy said.
Immediately, the sounds of punches were heard, before Nami's hands began to strangle Luffy.
"I'm going to kill you." The redhead roared.
"Luffy has declared war on a Shichibukai." Usopp sobbed. "Luffy has declared war on another shichibukai."
Swallowing in fear, Lucy affirmed.
"Each of us nearly died in our showdown against Baroque Works! So if we fight this guy we..."
"WHY? WHY? WHY?" Chopper asked.
Suddenly, a saber crashed into the floor.
"Hey, what's your problem?" Zoro asked, looking annoyed.
Startled, everyone turned to him, while he affirmed.
"Have you forgotten our destination? We are going to Laugh Tale! And on our way, we knew beforehand that we would have to face the most powerful people on this planet! So, what are you afraid of? "
"But Aniki..." Yosaku said. "If we fight against another Shichibukai, we..."
" Look around you. " Zoro growled.
" Huh ? "
"Look around and tell me if you see the same crew when we fought Crocodile! I don't see it anywhere! The crew we had in Alabasta is completely gone! And today it's been replaced by another crew, much more powerful than the old one."
Staring at the others angrily, he declared.
"What's the use of getting stronger if you're always scared of every opponent we face? We're not here to pretend to be pirates! We're pirates! And we're supposed to not be afraid of anything or anyone."
Hearing this, Velvet hissed admiringly.
"You know how to speak properly."
Letting her arm take on the appearance of a demon's, she assured.
"I have no idea who Doflamingo is and the definition of a Shichibukai! But if he wants to fight, I would have no hesitation in providing him with what he wants."
"Same for me." Wiper affirmed. "Anyway, no one can be worse than Enel."
" BAKAYARO ! " Shouted Bellamy.
Looking at the pirates with awe and anger in his eyes, he retorted.
"Doflamingo...he's on another level than Crocodile! And best of all, he could have easily defeated Enel! He's not someone whose power you should underestimate."
Then, suddenly, his eyes widened, seeing a huge wave bearing down on them, while its height was twice that of the Merry.
"AHHHHH! A tidal wave." Usopp shouted.
"Quick, we have to tack." Nami ordered. "We have to get out of here."
" Yosh ! "
Having put down his den-den mushi, Doflamingo heaved a sigh, before breaking into a smile.
"Mugiwara...does this fool really believe he can become the Pirate King? It's hilarious."
Behind him, his wife simply remained standing, while her large black cape still completely concealed her body, while her head was hidden under a hood of the same color. Having overheard Doflamingo's conversation, she pulled one of her hands out of her cloak, and effortlessly managed to summon a shinigami-like scythe. Then she asked.
"Do you want me to...kill him?"
Hearing this, Doflamingo put his hand over his eyes, before laughing.
"Seriously? You, who always tell me that you will protect me from any danger, are you telling me that you are afraid that I will be killed by this kid?"
"I know it's silly but...I hate to hear someone insult you."
Stopping laughing, Doflamingo glanced in the direction of his wife, before affirming.
"That little sassy one will get killed sooner or later! It's only a matter of time."
Then, suddenly, the door of the room was opened and a three-year-old boy managed to enter the room. Seeing him, Doflamingo's wife walked towards him before taking her son in her arms. Bending down like this, she slightly moved the hood that concealed her face and, because of this, long blond hair, identical to Lucy's, could be seen.
Glancing briefly in the direction of his family, Doflamingo finally affirms.
"There can only be one Pirate King, Mugiwara! And you have no idea what I'm willing to do to have that title."
"God whom I respect so much, please! Grant us your protection."
With his hands in prayer, Usopp had been reciting that phrase for a few hours, genuinely hoping for a miracle.
"Is it a new game?" Luffy asked.
"SHUT UP!" Usopp roared. "I'm trying to save the crew."
"And you think praying will fix our situation?" Raynare asked, lying on a rail of the ship.
"Anyway, if I hear you say the word 'god' one more time, I'll punch you in the face." Wiper affirmed.
"Am I the only one who understands the seriousness of the situation?" Usopp asked. "Luffy just declared war on a shichibukai."
"Yeah, but he said he won't come and attack us until we get to him." Bruno reminded him. "So until then, we have time to improve."
"By the way, what is this man's bounty?" Lucy asked.
"Huh…" Johnny began, opening his jacket.
Seizing several wanted notices, he began to look for the one he was interested in.
"Crocodile had a bounty of 81 million berries! Doflamingo's is...340,000,000!"
Immediately, Usopp almost passed out.
"Luffy...I hate you."
" Honestly, I'm surprised at such a difference between two Shichibukais. " Bruno stated. "But if their bounty equals their power, then that means Doflamingo is four times more powerful than Crocodile."
"Mom, I want to go home."
Then flashing an angry look, Usopp pointed at Bellamy.
"It's all his fault! If he hadn't come to our boat, we wouldn't have this problem."
Simply sitting in the back of the boat, Bellamy hadn't moved since the conversation between Luffy and Doflamingo. Showing a dark look, he didn't seem to be able to tell himself that he was of no importance in the eyes of the Shichibukai.
"Is he really going to stay here?" Zoro asked.
"Captain's order." Sanji replied simply. "We just have to find an island and leave it there."
"I still don't trust him." Raynare said.
Being at the top of the mast, Menma suddenly affirmed.
"Nami, I see a boat on the starboard side."
"A boat? Is it a pirate ship or the Navy ones?"
"Huh?" The child said, looking in the direction of the boat. "I can't say! This boat has no sail."
"What? A boat without a sail?" Nami wondered.
"Hey, Menma." Zoro called her. "Stop talking nonsense and tell us what you see."
For only answer, a flaming feather fell on his skull, and started to burn his hair.
"HOT!" he shouted, patting his skull to make the flames disappear.
"Baka onii-san." Menma told him, sticking out her tongue.
"Menma's right." Usopp then asserted, being able to see the boat through his binoculars. "This ship has no flag or sails."
"What's it doing at sea if it doesn't have a sail?" Yosaku wondered. "If it doesn't get help from the wind, he won't be able to move quickly."
"This boat may be abandoned." Lucy said.
Looking further, Usopp, retorted.
"No, I see people on board but...strangely, they seem to be completely depressed."
Indeed, being well on the strange boat without sail, a crew composed of about twenty men showed annoyed looks, without Usopp being able to know the reason.
"Never mind, it's not our problem." Gin affirmed. "Let's ignore this boat."
However, before Nami could give an order, the crew was startled by the appearance of monkey-headed sea monsters, which poked their heads out of the water, just behind the Merry.
" That ... ? "
" SEAMONKEYS. " Shouted Vivi.
Remaining motionless for a few seconds, the sea monsters only observed the Merry, while letting out cries resembling laughter. Not seeing them make any hostile gesture, the crew calmed down somewhat.
"They…They don't look mean." Johnny said.
"Actually, they remind me of Luffy-aniki." Yosaku chimed in.
"Seamonkeys are known to live in groups." Vivi stated. "It allows them to sink the boats more easily."
"Sink the boats? Couldn't you have said that sooner?"
At that moment, the seamonkeys disappeared under the water. Then, it was a gigantic wave which replaced them.
"AHHHHHHHH! ANOTHER TIDAL WAVE!"
"LEAD!" Luffy ordered.
"Take the oars." Nami ordered. "We have to get out of here at full speed."
"Tsss!" Wiper growled, grabbing his bazooka.
Aiming at the huge wave, he fired a column of blue waves, which pierced the wave without issue. However, not having touched any seamonkeys, the Shandian was surprised to see the hole in the wave disappear in a few seconds.
"What? In the sky, the holes in the clouds don't disappear as quickly."
" What you're doing is useless. " Zoro retorted, already starting to row. "Come help us."
Now moving at full speed, the Merry tried to outrun the huge wave, only to be finally forced to head towards the boat without sail. Not seeing them move, Bruno asked.
"What are these idiots doing? Can't they see the wave?"
" I don't think it will change much for them. " Sanji retorted. "Without a veil, how do they intend to flee?"
"HEY! GUYS!" Luffy shouted, heading for the ship. "A huge wave is coming towards us! Hurry to flee."
"Huh?" wondered several people on the other boat.
Seeing Merry pass them, they started to get agitated.
"Hey, there's a boat! Let's take the opportunity to attack it and steal the treasures it contains."
"Wait, there's a tidal wave ahead of us! We have to go."
"No! If we leave, this boat will escape! We have to attack it now."
"But if we attack it now, we will die."
"Somebody get the cannons ready."
"No! We have to take care of the rudder."
"You're not my captain, asshole."
Hearing them, Velvet declared.
"Eventually, I may have found an even dumber crew than ours."
"They seem to be unable to organize themselves." Chopper remarked.
"Wondering what their captain is doing." Luffy said.
"Where's the captain?" Shouted a pirate.
"We don't have any!" Shouted the others.
"Where's the navigator?"
"We don't have either."
" But who are these losers? " Sanji asked.
Finally, Luffy's crew saw the huge wave crashing down on the sailless boat, shattering it in an instant. Looking in this direction, they saw the boat disappear under the waves, before sinking towards the seabed, followed by the seamonkeys, who seemed proud of their achievement.
Finally, seeing the sea calm down a bit, Lucy sat down on the floor, and heaved a weary sigh.
"Hell, whether it's here or in Skypiea, we never have a minute's respite."
"Survive Enel, only to get killed by stupid monkeys?" Wiper growled. "That would be dishonor to a Shandian."
"It seems that sinking the other ship amused our pursuers enough to leave us alone." Robin remarked.
Then, gazing at the surface of the ocean, she put on a pensive face.
"Since a crew just got engulfed underwater, I wonder if the ocean will turn red."
"Don't say stuff like that." Usopp roared.
For her part, looking up at the sky, Nami affirmed.
"It looks like we are in an area where the climate and the wind is stable! Normally, we should see an island very soon."
"Nami." Menma called her then, still at the top of the mast. "I see an island in the distance."
"Perfect." Confirmed the redhead. "We're going to be able to take a breather there."
Unconcerned about this, Bellamy sat at the back of the ship. Not having left his place since a while ago, he was simply staring at the place where the ship had just sunk. Then he whispered.
" Davy Back Fight ! "
Then, turning around a little, to look in the direction of the island which had just been seen, the blond noticed that the sailless boat seemed to come from this place.
" Is it a coincidence? "
