Hey guys, here's the chapter 6 of Digimon: Adventure Loud. I'm going to give Lincoln a little break and have this chapter center around Ronnie Anne and her best friend, Sid. Enjoy.
Ronnie Anne sat on the couch with Sid, the two friends sharing a big plate of nachos.
"Your Abuela makes the best nachos, Ronnie Anne." Sid said as she took another chip.
"I know, right?" Ronnie agreed. "I think this has her special cheese." Soon the rest of the Casagrande family come running in with Hector grabbing the remote and turning on the TV. "Abuelo, what's going on?"
"There was a monster attack in Royal Woods last night!" Hector explained causing Sid and Ronnie Anne to gasp before turning to the TV where they saw what looked like a giant wolf fighting a red dinosaur. The quality wasn't all that good but they could make out some of what was going on.
"Whoa this is crazy!" Sid said. "Isn't that, like, the second monster attack to happen there?"
"Yes, but this was the first one filmed." Carlos explained.
They watched as the wolf tossed the dinosaur into a building. The Wolf then spun its whole body like a drill and hit the dinosaur in the stomach before blasting it with a blue beam. Within seconds, the dinosaur had vanished.
"That was pretty cool!" Sid beamed.
"Yeah!" Ronnie Anne said in agreement.
"That's like the second attack in Royal Woods that they know of." Carlota said. "Can't imagine the thought of seeing giant monsters attacking the city."
"I hope the Louds are ok" Maria said with concern.
"Especially Lori. I'm going to call her right now" Bobby said, walking off as he called his girlfriend.
"Ronnie, you should call Lincoln" Carlota suggested.
"Why?" She asked.
"Because he's your boyfriend." Carlota said with a smirk.
"Um, no he's not." Ronnie Anne denied. "He's just my friend. Besides I'm not really into him really." She then pulls out her phone. "But I probably should still call him." She hops off the couch with Sid following and the two head out the door of the apartment. She dials Lincoln's number and puts it to her ear.
"Hello?" Lincoln answered on the end.
"Sup Lame-o." Ronnie Anne said. "Saw on the news that Royal Woods was the sight of a giant monster rumble. Everything ok?"
"Yeah, everything's fine." Lincoln said rather casually.
"You sure? That battle looked pretty destructive" Ronnie Anne said, "I just want to make sure you're alright"
"I'm fine, Ronnie Anne. Trust me" Lincoln said reassuringly, "It's nice that you care though"
"Well, you're my friend, Lame-o. So, I gotta care a little bit." Ronnie Anne told him. "But hey next time you visit you gotta hang with me and Sid."
"Sounds good to me." Lincoln said. "Well, I gotta go. It's my turn to take Charles for a walk. Later. And say hi to your family and Sid for me."
"He's alright. He says hi" Ronnie Anne told Sid.
"Heh. Cool." Sid said and Ronnie swore she saw a faint blush on her face. "I mean, he's really cool and funny and smart and junk." She sighs. "What we talking about?"
"Uh, let's finish these nachos and head to the park" Ronnie Anne said, trying to change the subject.
"Sounds good." Sid said.
The Park…
The two girls walked through the park and in the back of their minds they couldn't help but think about those monster attacks that the news talked about.
"Crazy to think there are monsters just appearing, you know?" Ronnie Anne said.
"Yeah. That wolf monster looked fierce though… and kind of cute" Sid said.
"I guess." Ronnie Anne said with a shrug. "You don't think that those monsters will appear here, do you?"
"Who knows? But it'd be cool if they did though." Sid exclaimed. "It'd be like watching Godzilla or something!"
"That's true too I guess." Ronnie Anne said. "So why do you think they were fighting? I mean, they gotta be like animals, right? And animals don't fight for no reason. So why were they fighting?"
"Good point. But one of them was a dinosaur. I thought those guys were supposed to be extinct?" Sid said.
"I know, it's weird" Ronnie Anne said.
"Maybe that one wolf monster was nice and was trying to stop the dinosaur monster." Sid offered. This just got her a weird look from Ronnie Anne. "It's a possibility."
"Look, who knows what they are?" Ronnie Anne said. "All we know is that they're dangerous and yet really cool. Hey let's go look for one and try to take a picture with it."
"Yeah!" Sid beamed, liking the sound of her friend's idea, "But where to look?" she asked.
Ronnie Anne thinks about it before shrugging. "Not sure. Where do monsters usually hang out?" She replied.
"Under beds and closets." Sid replied.
"But we're in the park..." Ronnie Anne rubbed her chin, "There might be some in the park bathrooms" she offered before she and Sid shuddered at the thought.
"The park bathrooms are the worst!" Sid said with a cringed look.
That's when the two girls heard screams coming from the direction of Bruno's hot dog cart, which just happened to be in the park as well.
"Now, I know Bruno isn't the friendliest guys around, but that just seems rude." Sid said her voice full of disdain. "They don't need to run from him."
"Uh, I don't think they're running because of Bruno, Sid" Ronnie Anne said.
"Giant slugs!" A person screamed as he ran.
"Giant slugs?" Sid and Ronnie Anne repeated. They then look at each other and gasped. "Monsters! Yes!" They run towards the commotion and they see eight giant slug-like creatures with big eye stalks and big mouths moving around scaring civilians.
"Ew." Ronnie Anne said.
"Cool." Sid says. Ronnie Anne rolls her eyes and pulls out her phone and calls Lincoln.
"Hello?" Lincoln said on the other end.
"Hey Lame-o, guess what?" Ronnie Anne announced. "We got weird monsters too. Weird looking slug things." She hears a noise coming in the background. "Is everything alright?"
[Royal Woods]
"Yeah, everything is fine." Lincoln said. He was currently at the park and, in the background, Otsoamon was rolling around in the grass wrestling what looked like a giant walking mushroom. "Just at the park."
Otsoamon and the mushroom separated and Otsoamon hits an uppercut sending him flying.
"How'd you like that Mushroomon?" Otsoamon taunted before running the other way with three Mushroomon chasing him. "Oh, crap he has friends!"
"So, you got weird slug monsters?" Lincoln asked. He looks to check on Otsoamon and sees his partner being held down by two of the Mushroomon while a third jumps on his back.
"Yeah, weird green and purple slugs." Ronnie Anne replied. "And since you guys seem to get weird monsters on the daily, I figured you'd know what they are."
"Yeah, sure. Give me a couple minutes." Lincoln said. "I'll call you back."
[Great Lakes City]
"Thanks Lincoln." Ronnie Anne said before hanging up. "He'll call us back."
"Cool." Sid said. "So where do you think they came from and do you think they'll do a picture?"
"Maybe." Ronnie Anne answered. They see one of the weird slugs slithering by and they approached it.
"Excuse me?" Sid said getting the slug's attention. "Could we bother you for a quick picture?"
"Eh, I don't see why not." It replied. Sid and Ronnie Anne gathered around it and Sid held her phone. "Make sure you get my good side."
"Will do." Sid answered before snapping a couple selfies. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." The creature said. "Now we're gonna destroy this place!"
"Um, please don't." Sid said. Ronnie Anne's phone rings and she walks off to answer it.
"You got something for me, Linc?" She asks.
[Royal Woods]
"Yeah." Lincoln replied, holding his digivice in his hand with the hologram of the slug on it while in the background, Vulkamon was fighting off three Woodmon.
"Bring it, you stupid pieces of fire starter!" Vulkamon said as he swatted one of the Woodmon.
"So, those creatures are called Numemon." Lincoln told them. "And um, just a heads up. If they shout 'Nume Sludge', run away as fast as you can because he's kinda, sorta throwing his own poop at you."
[Great Lakes City]
"Great." Ronnie Anne said disgusted. "Well thanks for the info."
"No problem." Lincoln said. "Now I gotta go. Charles is stuck under a log and I gotta help him somehow. Later." He hangs up.
"He says they're called Numemon and to watch out for when they throw their poop" Ronnie Anne said to Sid.
"Wait, what?" Sid said with confusion.
"I mean, these guys don't look that bad." Ronnie Anne said.
"Nume Sludge!" one of them shouted, tossing a swirling pink piece of poop.
"That poop is pink." Sid said before Ronnie Anne grabs her.
"Who cares? Run!" Ronnie Anne shouted.
"Get 'em boys!" The lead Numemon ordered.
"I really hope that stuff doesn't hit us!" Sid as they ran.
"That makes both of us" Ronnie Anne said in agreement.
The girls ran around a nearby corner, pressing their backs up against the wall. They watched as the Numemon ran past them.
"Who do we call? Animal control? The police? The army?" Sid asked. "Oh, maybe Lincoln will have an idea! Monsters have been attacking Royal Woods, maybe he'll know what to do" she suggested.
Ronnie Anne pulls out a phone and once again dials Lincoln's number.
"Hello again." Lincoln answered.
"Hey Linc quick question." Ronnie Anne said. "How does Royal Woods usually deal with monsters?"
[Royal Woods]
"Good question." Lincoln said. Behind him Vulkamon was now chasing the three Woodmon who screamed in fear.
"You're not going to escape me!" Vulkamon shouted.
"Well usually the monsters just disappear." Lincoln said as he watched one Woodmon get flung across the park. "I don't know how it just happens." He steps to the side as a second Woodmon is flung right past him. "Sorry I can't explain more." He watches as the final Woodmon tries to run.
"Please don't hurt me!" Woodmon begged.
"Too late, you already hurt me!" Vulkamon responded before straight up tackling him.
"Listen I gotta go." Lincoln said. "Charles just stole a old man's cane and I gotta get it back."
[Great Lakes City]
"Sorry I couldn't help." Lincoln said. "Be careful!" He hangs up.
"Damn it!" Ronnie Anne stomped her foot, "He said they just disappear" she told Sid.
"Well, that doesn't help" Sid replied.
"Hey" They turned their heads to see a Numemon just a few feet away, "I found them!" it said, the other Numemons appear with poop in their hands.
"Uh oh." They say in unison as the Numemon approach them.
"Got any ideas?" Sid asked with slight concern.
"Not any good ones." Ronnie Anne replied.
They prepared for the disgusting assault. However, it was at that moment that two orbs of light appeared in front of them, along with two large eggs of light.
"What the hell is this?" Ronnie Anne asked as one of the small orbs of light went into her hands.
"Something good maybe?" Sid said hopefully as the other orb of light went into her hand.
The lights in their hand vanished and in their place were these strange devices. Ronnie Anne's was purple with pink grips, while Sid's was sky blue with red grips.
"What are these?" Sid asked, confused.
"No clue." Ronnie Anne responded.
Suddenly the two larger orbs of light disappeared and in their place were two creatures.
One was a tall yellow, bipedal fox with white paws and tail tip. On her arms, she wore two purple sleeves with yin-yang symbols on them.
The other was a little black dragon made of stone with yellow eyes. On the end of his feet and edge of his wings it had three red claws. The two creatures then turned to the two kids.
"Hello, Ronnie Anne." The fox creature greeted with a bow. "I'm honored to meet you."
"Um, hi?" Ronnie Anne responded confused.
The dragon creature, unlike his fox companion, was a lot more enthusiastic as he grabbed Sid's hand with his two wings and started shaking it rapidly.
"Hey Sid, great to finally meet you!" The dragon said.
"Uh, likewise" Sid aid, her voice shaking. The dragon released its grip, "Who are you guys?" Sid asked.
"What are you guys?" Ronnie Anne asked with a raised an eyebrow.
"We're Digimon, digital monsters" the dragon one said, "I'm Vorvomon"
"And I am Renamon" the fox introduced itself.
"Vorvomon?" Sid repeated.
"Renamon?" Ronnie Anne questioned.
The two devices activated and a hologram of the two digimon popped up on their respective devices.

Level: Rookie
Signature Attack(s): Diamond Storm, Power Paw
Name: Vorvomon
Level: Rookie
Signature Attack(s): Petit Flame
"Cool." Sid and Ronnie Anne say in unison.
"Thank you." Renamon said. "Now that introductions are finished, allow us to deal with the Numemon."
Renamon leapt into the air.
"Whoa!" Ronnie said, amazed at how high she jumped.
"Petite Flame!" Vorvomon shot a fireball from his mouth.
"Diamond Storm!" Renamon shot several glowing leaves.
Three Numemon were hit by the attacks causing the other five to panic.
"We ain't afraid of you!" A Numemon called out nervously.
"Nume Sludge!" The Numemon shouted as they threw their pink poop at them.
However, the two rookies maneuvered around the attack flawlessly as Sid and Ronnie Anne watched on. Renamon kicked one Numemon while Vorvomon headbutted another. Renamon punched another while Vorvomon smacked on with his tail. Then they both hit the final one together. Suddenly all eight Numemon turned into silhouettes with data rings around them.
"Whoa." Sid and Ronnie Anne said in unison.
"Use your digivices on those data rings." Renamon instructed. "Run the end along the data ring and say 'Fractal Code Digitize'."
"There's enough here where you both can do it." Vorvomon added.
"Alright" Ronnie Anne shrugged.
Ronnie Anne and Sid swung their arms.
"Fractal Code Digitize!" They both said as they scanned the data rings.
The eight silhouettes then became digieggs where then float up into the air and disappear. Not long after the digivices activated and Fractal Code shot out of the digivices and repaired the damage that the Numemon did.
"Well, that's handy." Sid said before turning two the two digimon. "You two were so cool!"
"Thank you" Vorvomon said.
"I gotta tell Lincoln about this!" Ronnie Anne said excitedly while pulling out her phone.
"You sure that's a good idea?" Sid asks as she rubbed Vorvomon's snout which he was enjoying. "I mean he either won't believe you, laugh at you for being crazy, or freak out."
"I don't know, this IS Lincoln we're talking about" Ronnie Anne replied.
"Yeah, but telling him that we have two digimon is, I don't know… risky." Sid said as she now was rubbing Vorvomon's stomach which once again he was enjoying.
"I could get used to this." Vorvomon said.
Ronnie Anne thought about it before turning to Renamon who had been quiet. "What do you think?" She asked the tall fox.
"That's up to you, Ronnie Anne" Renamon replied.
"I'm gonna at least call him and tell him we're alright." Ronnie Anne said. "But I won't tell him about Renamon and Vorvomon."
Ronnie Anne called Lincoln.
"Hello?" Lincoln said from the other end.
"Hey Linc, just calling to let you know everything's alright" Ronnie Anne told him.
"Good to hear." Lincoln said.
"Yeah, they disappeared just like you said they would." Ronnie Anne told him. Wasn't technically a lie. They did technically disappear but her friend didn't need to know how they disappeared. "So how did everything go with Charles?"
[Royal Woods]
"It went great." Lincoln said while in the background Otsoamon stood in a tree with his arms in the air.
"I'm the king of the trees!" He shouted.
"Yeah, he was very energetic today." Lincoln said. "Well, we gotta head home. Talk to ya later."
[Great Lakes City]
"Alright. Smell ya later, Lame-o." Ronnie Anne said.
"Bye!" Lincoln then hung up.
"Let's keep this a secret until Lincoln comes to visit us again" Ronnie Anne told Sid.
"Alright" Sid said with a nod of agreement.
"Agreed." Renamon said.
"Sure, but one question." Vorvomon says. "Who's Lincoln?"
"He's a close friend of mine" Ronnie Anne said. "Anyways, c'mon you two." Ronnie Anne said. "Let's take you back to the apartments."
"You sure? Won't our families freak out? Especially your abuela?" Sid asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Sid, I'm positive that everything will be fine." Ronnie Anne assured her. "We just have to hide them."
"Where?" Sid asked.
"Well, Renamon can hide on the fire escape. And when everyone goes to bed, I can sneak her into my room." Ronnie Anne said.
"Vorvomon could probably pretend to be a stuffed animal and stay in my closet" Sid said.
"Yeah, I can totally do that." Vorvomon said. "What's a stuffed animal?"
"Then we have a plan." Ronnie Anne said.
Ok, that's the end of chapter 6. Alright, looks we have two new digi-destined in Sid and Ronnie Anne. I chose Vorvomon for Sid because I thought it looked cool, especially its digivolutions. Plus, every Digimon team has at least one dinosaur or dragon-based Digimon. As for me choosing Renamon for Ronnie Anne… Well, she's a tough, ass-kicking Digimon. Plus, this is Ronnie Anne we're talking about, who else would she have as a Digimon partner?
