Hey guys. Not much to say, so here's chapter 10 of Digimon: Adventure Loud.

Lynn stood in the front yard bouncing a soccer ball on her feet.

"Twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six," Lynn counted, "Keep going like this and I'll break my record," she then heard the front door open and she sees Lincoln and Luna running out, "Hey guys. Wanna hang out? I promise I won't get too competitive."

Lincoln and Luna exchange a glance before looking at Lynn with guilty looks on their faces.

"Sorry Lynn, but not today," Lincoln answered, "Luna and I got plans."

"Yeah, sorry sis," Luna added, "Maybe tomorrow. Sound good?"

"Uh, sure. No problem," Lynn said, "Thirty-three, thirty-four, thirty-five!"

"Come on, Luna," Lincoln said, he and Luna heading off.

Lynn sighs as she watches them leave that she stops juggling the ball on her feet.

"I don't even want to do that anymore," she says. "Why are those two always so close and running off together? And why don't they ever invite the rest of us to hang out? It's not fair," she grabs her ball and heads back inside where she sees that the house is basically empty. With a sigh she heads upstairs to her room where she places her soccer ball on her side of the room and grabs her bat instead. "Maybe I'll just head to the park and work on my swing."

Lynn was at the batting cages at the far side of the park. Unsurprisingly, she managed to hit every ball that was coming to her.

"And Lynn Loud does it again!" Lynn exclaimed, "And the crowd goes wild!" She makes a crowd cheer sound before stopping and sighing, "This would be so much better if there was someone to share this moment with," she grabs her bat and starts to head to the park exit, "I get I'm a little competitive, but I've gotten better. I no longer think winning is the only thing that matters, yet why does Lincoln keep avoiding me? Did I do something wrong to upset him?"

"I gotta say, bro, that was probably one of the easier ones," she heard someone say. Looking up, Lynn saw Lincoln and Luna walking side by side across the street.

"Yeah, it's been a while since it was that easy," she heard Lincoln say.

"What are they talking about?" Lynn wondered.

"Sometimes I wish all of them were that easy," Lincoln said, "But then it wouldn't be as fun."

"Got that right, little bro," Luna said in agreement, giving him an affectionate head rub.

Lynn let's out a sigh as she watched her siblings round the corner, "What are those two always doing anyways?" she questioned, "They've been acting weird for the past week."

Her curiosity getting the better of her, Lynn decided to follow her siblings. She follows them for a while, until the two stop at a bakery.

"Have they tried deserts yet?" Luna asked.

"I mean, if they did, they did it in secret," Lincoln answered, "But I guess it wouldn't hurt to get them a treat. Granted, they would have to eat it soon or risk not getting any at all."

Lynn tilts her head in confusion, "Who are they talking about?" she asked.

A few minutes later, the two came out with cake loaves and donuts.

"Oh, they're going to love these!" Luna grinned.

"Especially," Lincoln chuckled, "Mr. Pufflebottom."

He and Luna shared a laugh.

"He bought food for Lola's toy?" Lynn whispered. "Why would he do that? It's a toy?"

"Let's not forget Mr. Flufflelump." Luna said with a chuckle.

They walk into an alley with Lynn following from a distance. She peeks around the corner as Lincoln and Luna each let out a whistle. Seconds later a small wolf and strange dog hop down from the surrounding buildings.

"It's two of those monsters!" Lynn whispered. "Are Luna and Lincoln in danger?" however, much to her surprise, Lincoln and Luna placed their bags in front of them.

"Alright guys dig in!" Lincoln told them.

"Enjoy little dudes!" Luna added.

"Thanks," the creatures said as they started eating.

"Mmm. These things are good!" the dog one said.

"Nothing like a sweet treat after a battle. Even if it was an easy one like that," the wolf commented.

"What are those things?" Lynn whispered. The wolf creature's ears perked up and he looked around.

"What's up?" Lincoln asked him.

"Thought I heard something," The wolf said. Seeing that as her queue, Lynn made herself scarce and left the area just as Luna walked over.

"Nothing's here, dudes," Luna tells them.

Back by the park, Lynn sat on a bench trying to process what she saw.

"Those little monsters." Lynn muttered, "What are they and why were Luna and Lincoln feeding them? I don't get it," she then heard screaming coming from further in the park. She runs towards the screaming and sees Hank and Hawk cowering in front of what looked like a cactus with boxing gloves. "It's another monster! Why does this one look like a cactus?"

The cactus monster punched its fist into its hand threateningly.

"You two think you're tough?" the cactus taunted, "Hah! Nobody is tougher than Togemon!"

"Oh yeah?" Lynn said approaching the cactus monster.

The cactus turns and sees Lynn approaching with a bat, "And who might you be, human?" Togemon taunted, "Do you really think you can beat Togemon?"

"I can try," Lynn said, tapping her bat into her hand before charging at the cactus monster.

Lynn swung her bat, only for Togemon to effortlessly smack it away, followed by throwing a punch that sent the athlete flying.

"Hah! You're weak!" Togemon mocked. As it approached Lynn. "You stood no chance against Togemon!" Lynn growled and gets back up.

"I'm not surrendering yet, you overgrown plant!" Lynn shouted defiantly.

Suddenly a small orb appears in front of and lowers into her hands. When the light disappeared, Lynn sees she holding a red device with black grips.

"What the hell is this thing?" Lynn asked.

Before she fully examined it, a bigger orb appears in front of. When the light disappeared, there stood a blue anthropomorphic dog with blue fur with boxing gloves on its hands and a bandana on its head. It then turns to Lynn.

"Hey Lynn," The dog greeted, "Great to finally meet you. Name's Gaomon."

"Gaomon?" Lynn repeated with confusion, an eyebrow raised.

Suddenly, the device in her hand lights up and a hologram of Gaomon pops up.

Name: Gaomon

Level: Rookie

Signature Attack(s): Rolling Upper, Double Backhand, Gao Rush

"Let me handle this, Lynn." Gaomon said as he bashed his fists together, "I'll turn Togemon to mulch."

Gaomon charged "Gao Rush!"

Gaomon rushes forward and rapidly started punching Togemon all over as the large cactus tried to block with his own boxing gloves.

"Double Backhand!" Gaomon shouted while spinning like a top. Surprisingly, Togemon was being budged back.

"Whoa..." Lynn muttered.

Togemon swings its fist but Gaomon jumps back to avoid it.

"Needle Spray!" Togemon shouted before firing a bunch of his needles off his body. Gaomon smirks and rushed forward where he then started rolling like a tire, plowing through the needles.

"Rolling Upper!" Gaomon shouted before launching himself upwards hitting Togemon in the face with an uppercut knocking the cactus monster down.

Gaomon the leapt into the air.

"Gao Rush!" Gaomon shouted, delivering a barrage of punches to Togemon's gut.

"Now those are what I call punches," Lynn commented.

"Thanks," Gaomon says, "Time for me to finish this!" He starts to spin again. "Double Backhand!" He spins into Togemon's torso causing the cactus to fall back. Suddenly it turns into a silhouette mid-fall with a Fractal Code around it.

"What the?" Lynn looked on in confusion.

"Scan the fractal code," Gaomon told her.

"The what?" Lynn asked.

"The ring of data around Togemon's body," Gaomon clarified, "Swing your arm and say "fractal code digitize". Hurry!"

"Gotcha!" Lynn says before running up to the Fractal Code and runs the digivice across it. "Fractal Code digitize!" The Togemon silhouette turns into an egg and dissappears while the Fractal Code repairs the damage that Togemon caused. "Cool." She then turns to Gaomon. "Thanks for the help, but don't take this the wrong way, but what exactly are you?"

"I'm a digital monster, or Digimon for short," Gaomon replied.

"Digimon?" Lynn repeated.

"Yes, and you and I are now partners," Gaomon explained.

Lynn shakes her head and massages her temples, "Ok, hold on, back up," she says, "We're partners? Partners for what?"

"To defend the human and digital worlds from evil Digimon," Gaomon explained.

Lynn rubs her temple again. "Hold on hold on. Slow down. Explain to me slowly what all this means," she requests, "Because you are dropping a lot of information on me."

Gaomon sighs.

"Ok. I'm a Digimon," Gaomon started, "I come from a place called the digital world in search of my partner, which is you. Well, at least I assume that's the reason I'm here. I'm not a hundred percent sure how it works. Anyways, that cactus I just fought, he's also a Digimon. Difference is, he's not here to be friends like me."

"Ok. So, you're my partner to fight the invading Digimon coming to cause problems," Lynn summarized, "That about right?" Gaomon nods. "Ok, but what's this?" She holds up her digivice.

"That's your digivice. It's a sign that you're a digi-destined, a human chosen to protect the human and digital worlds. One of a chosen number of humans, I might add," Gaomon explained, "You're digivice is also what gives me the power to digivolve, a process where I grow, change form, and become more powerful," he added.

"So, wait, there are other people in this type of situation?" Lynn asked.

"That's right," Gaomon nodded, "Only a chosen few though."

"Whoa. But I was chosen?" Lynn asked, "Even with my flaws?" Gaomon nods and places a boxing glove paw on her shoulder.

"Exactly," Gaomon responded, "You were chosen because of your flaws because that's what makes you human. And I'll do my best to help you!"

Lynn smiles.

"And I'll do my best to help you," Lynn promised. She holds out a fist that Gaomon gently taps with his own.

"Now, how am I gonna hide you from my family?" Lynn rubbed her chin.

"No clue," Gaomon admitted with a shrug. However, before he can offer a suggestion, his ear twitches causing him to look around rapidly.

"You ok?" Lynn asked. Gaomon doesn't respond but instead sniffs the air. After he does that, his eyes widen and immediately runs in front of Lynn.

"Watch out!" he shouted as he threw his fist forward that clashes with that of small wolf creature causing a small shockwave. That causes Lynn to slide backwards. She looks in front of her and sees Gaomon facing off with the strange wolf. However, the wolf looked familiar.

"I swear I've seen that wolf before." Lynn muttered. Meanwhile the two canines were circling each other.

"Leave this place Gaomon!" The wolf growled, "You're not welcome here!"

"I could say the same about you, Otsoamon," Gaomon replied.

The two canines growled at each other, barring their fangs. They charged at each other. The two then exchanged blows.

Otsoamon goes for another strike, but Gaomon ducks underneath it before punching Otsoamon in the stomach causing the wolf Digimon to stumble back. Otsoamon lets out a growl before rushing at Gaomon.

"Beo Wolf Punch!" Otsoamon shouted before punching Gaomon in the cheek.

Which sent Gaomon flying into a tree.

"Otsoamon!" they heard a voice.

Otsoamon turns towards the voice not seeing Gaomon rolling towards him.

"Rolling Upper!" Gaomon shouted. Otsoamon turns only to get hit with an uppercut sending him flying.

He landed and was caught in Lincoln's arms.

"Otsoamon! Are you ok?" Lincoln asked.

"Yeah," Otsoamon said, hopping out of his partner's arms.

"Dudes," Luna appeared with Gabumon, "Where's the Digimon?"

"Lincoln? Luna?" Lynn questioned.

"Lynn?" Lincoln and Luna say in unison. The three siblings stare at each other in silence before they start pointing at each other.

"What are you doing here!?" The three say in unison.

"I was fighting a giant cactus with boxing gloves a minute ago," Lynn said.

"Ok, but what about the dog?" Lincoln asked gesturing to Gaomon who was fighting Otsoamon again, this time joined by Gabumon.

"Blue Blaster!" Gaomon shouted as he shot a stream of blue flames.

"Wildfire Barrage!" Otsoamon shouted as he fired several fireballs. Gaomon serpentines around the flames, successfully avoiding them.

"Double Backhand!" Gaomon shouted as he spun towards Gabumon.

"Beowolf Uppercut!" Otsoamon shouted, uppercutting Gaomon in the stomach.

"He defeated it. That's my Digimon partner, Gaomon," Lynn told them.

"Partner?" Luna questions.

"Horn Strike!" Gabumon shouted before hitting Gaomon with his horn.

"Yeah," Lynn confirmed, "He said that I'm a digi-destined. Whatever that means," she holds out her digivice, "He called this a digivice."

"Gao Rush!" Gaomon shouted before rapidly throwing punches at Otsoamon and Gabumon.

Luna and Lincoln exchange a glance before pulling out their digivices and showing them to Lynn.

"Wait. So, you two are..." Lynn started.

"Mm-hm," Lincoln and Luna nodded.

"So, are those your partners?" Lynn asked gesturing to the three fighting Digimon.

"Yep," Lincoln and Luna say in unison.

"You guys can stop fighting now," Lincoln told them.

"Yeah, we're on the same side, dudes," Luna added.

The three Digimon stop in their tracks and stare at their partners before staring at each other. They then lower their guards and walk back to their respective partners.

"Ok. Let's start over," Lynn says, "This is Gaomon. He is my Digimon partner."

"That blue dude with the horn is Gabumon, my Digimon partner," Luna said.

"And the tough one with the collar is Otsoamon, my Digimon partner," Lincoln said.

"Greetings," Gabumon says.

"Sup," Otsoamon greeted.

"So, I have something to tell you guys," Lynn admitted, "I was following you guys when you passed the park," Lincoln and Luna's eyes widen, "And when you were in that alley, I saw them."

"Wait. When Otsoamon said that he thought he heard something, was that you?" Lincoln asked. Lynn nods. "Why were you following us?"

"Well..." Lynn rubbed her arm.

"Lynn," Gaomon says getting her attention. "Tell them the truth. It'll make you feel better. Honesty is important." Lynn nods.

"I was upset," Lynn admitted, "You guys were always hanging out together and today I was hoping that you would hang with me. When you said you couldn't, it hurt. A lot. And when I saw you guys walking by, I decided to follow you to see what you guys were doing that was so fun. That's when I saw Gabumon and Otsoamon. I know I shouldn't have followed you like that, but I was just jealous you know."

"Aww, Lynn," Luna said, she and Lincoln pulling her in for a hug.

"Just because we hang out with each other a lot, doesn't mean we don't like hanging out with you," Lincoln told her.

"I know, but it just seemed like you guys were avoiding me, that's all," Lynn told them, "So, I thought I did something wrong to make you guys upset."

"No, we've just been busy. And now you know with what," Luna said.

"Yeah. Guess I do," Lynn says, "So, does that mean we can hang out more?"

"Yeah. Might as well be a trio now. How about we call ourselves Team Loud?" Lincoln offered, extending his hand.

"Yeah, bro!" Luna placed her hand on top of his.

The two of them looked at their athletic sister.

"Ah, screw it. I'm in." Lynn says as she placed her hand on top of Luna's.

"Alright, Team Loud!" Lincoln smiled.

"Hell yeah!" His sisters say in unison. Meanwhile, the Digimon look on in confusion.

"You guys have any idea of what's going on?" Otsoamon asked.

"I think they formed a team," Gaomon said.

"Which means the three of us are a team as well," Gabumon chimed in.

"Eh, if Lincoln's in then I guess I am too," Otsoamon shrugged.

Back with the humans.

"So, how do you hide your Digimon from the family?" Lynn asked.

"We hide them in plain sight," Lincoln replied with a wink.

"Very plain sight," Luna says with a smirk.

"Why don't I like the sound of that?" Gaomon asked.

"Because you're not," Otsoamon said, "Just know that I'm going to feel sorry for you," he said, placing a hand on Gaomon's shoulder.

"Same." Gabumon agreed.

"More team Mr. Cuddlebum?" Lola offered. Mr. Cuddlebum was Gaomon put in a suit and top hat.

Lola poured tea into the cup. Meanwhile, Lincoln, Luna and Lynn were watching from outside the room.

"So, that's what you meant by plain sight," Lynn whispered with a small chuckle.

"Yeah," Lincoln and Luna replied.

"That's one way to hide them I guess," Lynn says while still struggling not to laugh. They step away from the room, "So, who else is a digi-destined?"

"Outside of us, it's Sam, Ronnie Anne and Sid," Lincoln answered.

"Nice, you get to work with your girlfriend, Luna," Lynn smiled.

"Yeah. It's gonna rock." Luna said with a blush. She turns to Lincoln. "Same for you bro."

"Sid isn't my girlfriend!" Lincoln retorted. However, his older sisters exchange a smirk.

"We didn't say a name." Lynn says smugly.

Lincoln blushed at that.

"Touché," he muttered.

Alright, that's the end of this chapter. If Lynn seems different from the show, it's because she is. This goes without saying, but this takes place in a different universe. This chapter was co-written with Zachlor16.

So, now Lynn's a digi-destined like Lincoln and Luna. Before anyone asks, not every Loud sibling will become a digi-destined, only a certain few.
