Remaining motionless, the cook only stared at the masked sniper, who remained lying on the ground. The projectile that had just passed through his heart seemed to have been fatal.
"Usopp..." Vivi sobbed.
"Long-Nose…" Franky whispered.
"If that idiot hadn't tried to play the hero, this wouldn't have happened." Lucci said. "Still, I'm not going to mourn the death of a pirate."
"HEY! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?"
Running towards him, Robin roared.
"You promised me! You promised me that you won't kill any member of MonKey D. Luffy's crew."
"Indeed." Lucci affirmed. "But it seems that you are not aware of a detail! The pirate who is on the ground decided, of his own free will, to leave the crew, just after our meeting! I am therefore sad to tell you that our agreement no longer concerns him."
" ASSHOLE! " Robin roared. "You're playing with words."
For his part, having initially been afraid that killing Usopp would get him into trouble, Nero ended up smiling, while affirming.
"Good for you, damn pirate! Death is the only thing you deserved! I hope you rot in hell! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Immediately falling silent, Nero saw Sanji walking towards him, his gaze downcast.

Finally, growling, Lucci transformed into a leopard and raised his arm in the air.

However, only slashing at the void with his claws, Lucci was surprised to see Sanji disappear. Having jumped with phenomenal speed, Sanji was on top of him, with his leg already raised.

The next moment, Sanji's foot hit the top of Lucci's head and the impact was strong enough to create a shockwave that was visible around the leopard man's feet. Gritting his teeth, Lucci showed that withstanding this attack had been much more difficult than the previous ones, while cracks appeared under his feet.

Seeming angry, thinking back on these memories, she ended up giggling again.
"But strangely, today, it's not the same! I don't hate my scales anymore! And I'm no longer afraid of becoming a monster."
And as she spoke, she began to transform. Taking an animal form, Fosha completely transformed his body. Still visible, his scales on his arms took on a different color, while covering the rest of her body. Stepping back, Vivi saw Fosha transform into a creature resembling a red bipedal reptile, with a pair of wings.
"A...A dragon?" Vivi wondered.
"Not quite." Fosha retorted, hitting the ground with her tail. "Do you know the legend of the half-dragon, half-human creature? It's the Lizardman."
Spreading his wings to create a current of air that passed through the wagon, Fosha assured.
"As a child, I hated being called a monster! But today, I'm proud to be one."
Grabbing a seat, she crushed it between her fingers.
"Even though I don't have a lot of fishman genes in me, it's enough to give me twice the strength of a normal human! And thanks to my devil fruit, this Herculean strength is increased tenfold and grants me more possibilities in combat! I have become the ultimate monster who fights in the name of justice."
"Tsss! All you are is just an idiot who doesn't even know how to use her brain to understand the situation."
Angry to hear this, Fosha flew towards her and his fist hit Vivi's abdomen. Breathless, Vivi felt her body fly towards the fourth car, while she was chased by Fosha.

Staring at Vivi with hatred, Fosha raised her foot several times and crushed Vivi's arm further.
"I hate people like you! I hate them!" Fosha roared. "Why do you think you're better than me? Why? Why do you think you know Coro-chan better than me? Why?"
Suddenly, about to trample Vivi's arm again, she saw her roll to the side. Then, getting up, while holding her injured arm, Vivi retorted.
"I would never claim to know Robin better than you! To tell you the truth, I knew nothing about his past before yesterday! For me, it was even proof that Robin didn't trust me! But, if there One thing I know about her is..."
Staring at Fosha, she assured.
"That's because a person like you has no right to pretend to be his friend."

Being alone, in a clearing, Robin read peacefully. As a result, nothing seemed to make her hostile or threatening. However, concentrated in her reading, she didn't notice the presence of other children until too late. And, looking up, she saw a tomato being thrown at her and crashing into her face.
"Ouch!" She complained, feeling juice running down her face.
"YEAH! I touched it." Rejoices a child.
" MONSTER! MONSTER! MONSTER! MONSTER! " Other children shouted.
Trying to wipe the juice off his face, Robin tried to ignore them. However, the children grabbed other tomatoes.

" YEAH ! "
However, the sound of punches was suddenly heard. Screaming in pain, the kids now had a bump on their heads, while a girl appeared behind them. Showing an angry face, Fosha growled.
"I already told you to stop bothering Robin."
"AHHHH! It's the other monster."
"RUUUUNNNNN! Or she'll eat us."
Seeing them running away, Fosha stuck her tongue out in their direction.
"Next I catch you, I'll fry you in a pan."
Then, calming down, she turned to Robin, who was finishing wiping her face.
"The juice sticks." She complained.
"It will go away." Fosha assured her. "But these kids are really stupid."
"I'm used to it." Robin said, with a sad tone. "And it's probably the same for you! They treat you like a monster too."
"It's not the same for me." Fosha retorted. "I have fishman genes in me! Besides, I'm not a native of this place and I live alone in the forest! For many, I don't look like a human."
Speaking, she couldn't help but scratch her arms, while fish scales were visible on her skin.
"I love swimming and sometimes I feel like I can understand fish! But...sometimes I feel like I'm under a curse."
"You're not the only one." Robin affirmed, moving one of her arms.
Immediately, a hand appeared on the ground.
"My power...it makes me look like a monster."
"You're not a monster, Robin." Fosha retorted. "It's the others who are stupid! I heard that powerful soldiers of the Navy were invincible thanks to their devil fruits! No one calls them monsters! If you want the truth, it's the other children who are jealous of your power."
"If that's the case, I'll gladly give them my power." Robin retorted.
Having a sudden urge to hit her to make her understand that she was stupid, Fosha was stopped by hearing someone calling them.
" ROBIN ! FOSHA ! "
Turning around, the two girls saw a disgruntled mother, who affirmed.
"My children came in crying, saying that you hit them for no reason! Yet I forbade you to approach them."
Hearing this, while she could still feel some tomato juice running down her face, Robin felt frustrated, but decided to just lower her gaze. Being used to being reprimanded by adults, despite not being at fault, she preferred not to make her situation worse, for fear that her aunt would find out.
Nevertheless, staring at the mother, Fosha growled.
"Sometimes I wonder if you're just trying to take it out on us or if you're really stupid."
"What did you say, brat?"
In response, Robin grabbed Robin's hand and started to run, while forcing her friend to imitate her.
"Hey! Where are you going?" The mother roared.
Ignoring her, Fosha growled.
"Sometimes I wonder who the real monsters are."
"Hey, where are we going?" Robin asked.
Smiling at him, Fosha assured.
"In my secret treehouse."
Having no family on the island, nor any real home, Fosha had always had to fend for herself to survive. And thanks to this, she even managed to build a treehouse, of which she was proud. However, contrary to what she claimed, her cabin was far from secret. Everyone in Ohara knew where she lived. However, ever since she knew Robin, Fosha knew that no one could enter her cabin without her permission.
Arriving in front of a huge tree, the two children looked up to see the wooden structure half hidden in the foliage.
" Robin, please. "
Crossing her arms, Robin made a hand appear on one of the branches of the tree, where a rope ladder was wrapped. Grabbing it, Robin dropped it and allowed Fosha to grab it.
"Thank you." She said, starting to climb towards her treehouse.
Then, entering her home, she quickly dropped onto an old mattress which served as her own, while she directed her hand towards a salad bowl containing some fruit.
"Here is really the only place where we can be peaceful."
Entering in turn, Robin walked towards a huge pile of books that were in the cabin. Since she had known Fosha, she had come here regularly and, as a result, she preferred to leave most of her precious books here rather than at home, where they risked being destroyed or thrown away by her aunt.
Sitting down near them, she began to leaf through the book she had in her hand and resumed reading. Seeing her doing this, knowing that Robin could sit for hours without moving, Fosha questioned her.
"What is your book about this time?"
"From the Kouens civilization." Robin told her. "It is a civilization that lived in South Blue, two millennia ago AD, but which disappeared after a war against the Aka monarchy! To punish them for having defied them, the Aka completely ravaged their civilization ."
Hearing this, Fosha let out a sigh.
"Whenever you talk to me about ancient civilizations, I always hear the word 'war'! It makes you wonder how stupid humans are! Why do they take so much pleasure in killing others?"
"I don't know." Robin admitted.
Then there was silence. Lying still, Fosha didn't seem to know what to do to occupy himself, while Robin continued reading. However, the young girl ends up whispering.
" THANKS. "
" Huh ? " Said Fosha.
"Thanks for earlier." Robin said.
"It was nothing." Fosha assured. "Since we're both considered monsters, it's okay to help each other! Besides, you know very well that you're my friend."
Hearing this, Robin couldn't help but look away to the side. Robin had always had a hard time being sociable with people due to being constantly rejected. And because of that, she felt embarrassed to feel joy inside, hearing someone consider her their friend. Even though people considered her a monster because of her origins, Robin considered Fosha to be much more human than the people on this island.
Finally, closing her book, she put it down with the others, and picked up another.
"Fosha… do you want me to read you a chapter of "Camelot"?"
Immediately, her friend sat up with lit up eyes.
" YEAH ! " Shouted Fosha.
"Grabbing his sword, King Arthur brandished it towards the sky! At that moment, black clouds were above him, while thunder rumbled and echoed throughout the area! Darkness reigned around the king while that he found himself alone facing the horrible dragon that had been terrorizing his kingdoms for several seasons! And yet, shining his sword, Arthur managed to illuminate the entire area and, feeling his courage calvinize his strength, he then uttered a loud cry , before running towards the dragon to fight it."
Hearing Robin reading to her, Fosha suddenly stood up and, having a branch in her hand, she shouted.
" King Arthur is so cool. "
Pretending to be a knight, she shook her branch, as if it were a sword, as she fought against an invisible enemy.
"Me too! I want to fight against powerful creatures and become a hero."
"I doubt you could find a sword like Arthur's." Robin retorted.
"In that case, I will find a devil fruit." Fosha assured.
Surprised, Robin saw Fosha smile at her, while she affirmed.
"I'm already a monster! So if I eat a devil fruit, I'll become like you: a person with super cool powers."
"My...My powers aren't cool." Robin retorted, lowering her gaze. "And then, can you want to have some?"
"So that I can become a high-ranking officer in the Navy." Fosha said. "And with my devil fruit, I could capture thousands of pirates and become a hero."
" A heroine? "
"Yes! And you will become my partner." Fosha assured.
"What? But I don't want to become a soldier! I want to be an archaeologist."
"I know." Fosha assured her. "But when I am captain of my own ship, I will be able to take you anywhere in the world and you will be able to solve all the mysteries of the world! Thanks to this, our duo will be known to everyone and no one will treat us like monsters. "
Surprised by her idea, Robin didn't know what to answer her. After all, after living for several years in Ohara, where she only had to be rejected, the idea of leaving here wouldn't make her sad. However, something made it impossible for her to leave here.
"Fosha…maybe I'll leave one day but…not until she comes back here."
"Huh? Are you talking about your mother?"

Hearing this, Fosha had difficulty understanding Robin. Fosha herself had been abandoned by her parents as they left her here and then left Ohara. Knowing that Robin's mother had also left for a few years, Fosha had the impression that she had also left the island by abandoning her daughter.
At that moment, Robin stood up, while declaring.

"Hey, I'm not afraid of the adults on this island." Fosha retorted, with a big smile. "I am perfectly capable of fending for myself and I am not afraid of anyone."
Finally, seeing Robin leave her treehouse and walk away, Fosha grabbed the rope ladder and wrapped it around a branch. Then, again, she lay down on her mattress. The sun was just starting to set and Fosha didn't really want to sleep just yet. Living alone had its advantages, since Fosha could do whatever she wanted. But it also had drawbacks.
Letting out a sigh, Fosha couldn't hide the fact that she was sad to be all alone. Even if she hid it from Robin, she would have wanted to have her own family or just have friends.
Lying still, Fosha suddenly began to look at his arms. Then, touching the scales that covered her skin, she began to claw at them as if she wanted to tear them off. Finally, gritting her teeth, she felt tears streaming down her cheeks as she asked.
"Why was I born as a monster?"
