Looking at the teens in front of him, Coby asked.
" What is happening here ? "
Staring at him, a young man sitting on a barrel began to show a mocking look.
"Huh? What's going on here? Nothing at all! We're just talking as friends! Nothing more."
"Among friends?" Coby repeated, looking at the teenager on the ground. "Are you kidding me? This guy got beat up."
Hearing this, the one who seemed to be the leader of the gang left his barrel and crouched down in front of the injured teenager to help him get up.
"You are wrong, soldier! Akim simply tripped and fell when you arrived."
" What ? "
Showing a charming smile, the leader of the gang declared.
"Let me introduce myself! I'm Kenjo, the son of the mayor of the island! And he's Akim! One of my best friends."
Positioning his arm around Akim's shoulders, Kenjo questioned him.
"Right, Akim? Tell him we're friends."
Looking frightened, Akim lowered his gaze. Then he muttered.
"Yes! We are... We are friends."
However, even a blind man would have seen that the boy was lying. He was scared of Kenjo. in fact, seeing him like this, Coby had the strange impression of noticing a resemblance between Akim and him. Coby felt like Akim was just like him when he worked under Alvida.
"Tssss! I know you're lying." Coby stated.
Hearing him, Kenjo and the other teenagers looked at him. Then, finally, they started laughing.
"Hahahahaha! Does this soldier think he's a hero or something?"
Walking towards Coby, Kenjo questioned him.
"Hey, stupid soldier! Who do you think you are? Are you calling me a liar? I'm the son of the town mayor and I'm a minor! Do you honestly think you have the right to do anything to me? remonstrance."
Then, passing Coby, the other teenagers and Kenjo left the alley, leaving Coby alone with Akim.
"Hey, Akim! I'll meet you tomorrow! And this time, try not to be late! This might save you from tripping and falling again! HAHAHAHAHA!"
Hearing him laugh, Coby then turned to Akim, who wiped some blood from his nose.
" Are you OK ? "
In response, Akim left again, not seeming to want Coby to give him any help.
"Hey, where are you going?" Coby asked, holding out his hand towards him.
"Leave me alone." Akim ordered him. "I didn't ask you anything."
Surprised, Coby then saw him run and quickly leave the alley. Seeing it, Coby was surprised at first. But then he realized what was happening. Just as Coby had been afraid of Alvida, Akim must have been afraid of Kenjo and that was why he refused any help.
"Hey, Coby." Helmeppo called, joining him. "Have you found this cursed animal?"
However, seeing the boy remain still, Helmeppo was surprised.
" Coby ? "
Also staring at the duo, Larvitar, who was on a roof, was looking at Coby while eating one of the fruits he had just stolen.
Katarina's Manor
Admiring the new outfit she wore, Sakura found it cute.
"So, here is our new uniform."
Seeming little interest in these new clothes, Nakata simply looked inside the greenhouse where the duo now found themselves. No matter where she looked, the place was filled with rose bushes, which the employees were watering. Or, equipped with secateurs, they delicately cut the roses and placed them in their baskets.
None of the women present in the greenhouse wore the slightest mask. However, Sakura was quick to put on her medical mask, because of the powerful scent of the flowers.
"How do these womans manage to work here without being bewitched? If I listened to myself, I would plunge my nose into one of these flowers and stay still forever to breathe in its scent."
"Katarina said we'll get used to the smell quickly! Besides..."
Seeing the other women working while talking among themselves, Nakata saw no sign of abuse or fear in their eyes. The greenhouse employees worked like normal employees.
"There's nothing here that shows this place is a cult."
"That's true but... that doesn't explain why these women refuse to leave this place." Sakura remarked. "Why do they now see the outside world as their enemy?"
"Who cares?" Nakata asked.
Getting ready to walk into the greenhouse, the duo stopped, while a voice was heard behind them.
" Hey ! "
Jumping in fear, Sakura turns around to see Zixa walking and staring at them with a skeptical eye.
"Y...Yeah?" The zombie asked.
"Lady Katarina has placed her trust in you by allowing you to work for her! So, I hope for your sake that you will not betray her kindness! Understood?"
" Y... YES ! "
Frightened by Zixa, Sakura had the bad idea of giving a military salute, like she did when Garp scared her.
"Huh... A military salute?" Zixa wondered, narrowing her eyes.
Immediately, Nakata's foot hit Sakura's butt, as she declared.
"Please excuse Sakura! Because of her father who was an overbearing soldier, she got into the habit of greeting people that way."
Still continuing to stare at Sakura suspiciously, Zixa finally turned around and left the greenhouse.
"Get to work! And don't forget that I'm watching you."
"Oui!"
Hurrying away from Zixa, Sakura hides behind a huge rose bush.
"She's really, really scary."
However, neither Sakura nor Nakata paid attention to the den-den mushi that was stuck to the ceiling of the greenhouse.
Watching a screen, Lady Katarina was having fun removing the petals from a rose, while she declared.
"Two Marines…I wonder why they're here."
Yet, maintaining a calm and cheerful demeanor, she looked at what was left of her rose, before saying.
"Women are like roses! If they are well taken care of, they can become very pretty flowers! However, will these two girls allow themselves to be taken care of or will they prefer to become annoying?"
Garp's Ship
" HAHAHAHA ! "
With a cookie in his mouth, Garp was laughing to the point of tears.
"HAHAHAHA! So the three of you were lost to a small animal! HAHAHAHA!"
Kneeling in front of him, Coby, Helmeppo and Jin remained motionless, while a bump was visible on their heads. Having recounted their fight against Larvitar, the trio were somewhat perplexed by the old man's behavior.
"We just told him that we were ridiculed by this animal and he laughs." Jin remarked.
"And yet, he was angry a few seconds ago." Helmeppo remarked, while feeling his bump hurt.
Suddenly stopping laughing, Garp began to roar in anger.
"BAKAYARO! Haven't I taught you anything? How could you have been made a fool of by a little animal? I'm ashamed for you."
"You can yell at us or laugh at us, but make a choice." Helmeppo retorted.
"It's true that we deserve to be reprimanded." Jin affirmed, with a saddened face.
Then he suddenly became angry.
"Why do we have to be reprimanded when we have done our best?"
"You too, stop changing your behavior every five seconds." Helmeppo roared. "The situation is already complicated enough."
"Still, I find it strange that such a small animal was able to defeat them." Emma said, who was their conversation. "By going to produce information in town, it seems that few people are aware of the presence of this animal in town! However, the merchants don't like him since he steals food. "
Letting out a sigh, Garp says.
"Right now, we have more important matters to attend to! How are Sakura and Nakata?"
"They sent me their first report." Emma affirmed. "So far, they have infiltrated the mansion without the slightest difficulty."
"Perfect!" Garp declared, grabbing a bag of cookies. "At least I can take comfort in knowing that two of my students can be useful."

Starting to eat a cookie, Garp noticed that someone had been silent for a while. Turning his gaze to Coby, he noticed that the lone soldier seemed to be thoughtful.

"Huh?" The boy was surprised, looking at him.
Seeming to come to his senses, he assured.
"It...It's nothing! I'm just thinking about something insignificant."
Yet despite this, Coby couldn't help but think about his meeting with Akim. Coby knew the boy was being mistreated by his so-called friends. So, wasn't it Coby's duty to protect him? "
Sniffing his arm, Sakura stated.
"I feel like I've bathed in a barrel of perfume! It smells so good."
"Tssss! I'm starting to get sick of this scent." Nakata groaned.
As the two girls walked down the hallway of the mansion, Nakata found it more and more difficult to display a stoic look, while Coby's absence near her strained her calm.
" It's Coby's scent I want to smell! Why isn't he here? Why do I have to be with that bitch? "
Glancing briefly at Sakura, Nakata found it difficult to hide the rage she kept inside of her.
" At least while I'm here that bitch won't be able to hit on my Coby. "
However, immediately thinking of Emma, she thought.
" But I must not stay here too long! Otherwise other girls could take advantage of my absence to pervert him! I have to stay around Coby to protect him from all these succubi. "
" SAKURA ! NAKATA ! "
Jumping in fear, Sakura immediately turned around and saw Zixa. Still staring at them sternly, the young woman seemed ready to fight against her.

"Follow me." Zixa ordered them. "Katarina-sama wishes to meet you."

Entering a room in the mansion, the trio walked towards a large fireplace. Enjoying a pleasant fire, Katarina was sitting in an armchair, with a book in her hands.
Hearing the sounds of footsteps coming towards her, the owner of the mansion closed her book before getting up.
"Sakura-chan! Nakata-chan! I hope your first day with us went well."
"Huh...yes." Sakura assured. "Again, thank you so much for giving us this work."
Smiling somewhat, Katarina retorted.
"It is I who must thank you! After all, you came all this way to be able to work for me! You really seem like very helpful people."
"Huh…thanks."
Hearing Sakura speak, while appearing intimidated, Katarina approached her, before placing her hand on her cheek.
"You have no reason to be afraid or shy." She assured her. "Why are you afraid? Do you think I'm going to hit you?"
"Huh...no...I...! Excuse me! It's a bad habit of me to be like that."
Awkwardly rubbing the back of her head, she looked away shamefully, while confessing.
"Sometimes I hate being a coward."
Hearing this, Katarina retorted.
"I like this side of your personality! It makes you cute."
" Huh ? "
"Actually, maybe you should teach Zixa to be a little more like you." Katarina said. "This woman is a real, extremely gruff tomboy."
"Katarina-sama!" Zixa exclaimed, blushing with embarrassment. "It is to be able to ensure the security of these places that I am like this."
Katarina only laughed at this remark. And strangely, this simple laugh relaxed Sakura, who felt much more reassured. Katarina really didn't seem like a bad person.
But while Sakura engaged Katarina in conversation, Nakata remained silent. She didn't like this woman. Given his behavior with Sakura, Nakata considered her the queen of the succubi. It was unthinkable that she would let a woman like her near Coby.

Above the fireplace were two armchairs. The one Katarina was sitting on before Sakura and Nakata arrived and another chair where another person was sitting. This person had been so discreet that no one, except Katarina, had felt their presence. Continuing to smile, Katarina turned to the other owner of the manner, who was none other than her sister.
"What do you mean, Onee-san?"
"The girl who spoke hesitantly had an excellent scent surrounding her! But the other girl...she had an unpleasant odor! She stank of death."
Seeming to be revolted by this, Rika stated.
"We have to get rid of it ."
The day after
Walking through the streets of the city, Helmeppo looked around, while appearing displeased.
"Where is that damned animal?"
being in the company of Coby and Jin, the blond wanted to find Larvitar, to take revenge for the humiliation of the day before.
"Until we defeat him and put him in a cage, Garp-san will never stop putting us down."
"It's better to look for it in the market area." Jin advised him. "Emma said he was stealing food there."
But while the duo chatted, Coby remained silent again.
"Coby?" Helmeppo was surprised.
"Huh?" the boy said.
Seeing him lost in thought, Helmeppo stopped before asking him.
"Are you going to tell us what's wrong with you?"
" What ? "
"Since yesterday, you have been strange! What is happening to you? Is it our defeat against this animal that has put you in this state? However, you should be used to being humiliated! Most of our fights are end in defeat."
" Thanks for reminding me.
"That's what I'm here for! So tell me what's bothering you."
Looking hesitant, Coby didn't know whether to talk about what he saw yesterday. But before he could decide, a scream was heard.
" THIEF ! "
And just like yesterday, an animal carrying a box full of fruit appeared at the other end of the street, chased by a seller.
"Larvi! Larvi! Larvitar!"
"It's him." Helmeppo recognized him.
Running a few more meters, the pokemon stopped when he saw the three soldiers positioning themselves in front of him.
"Glad to see you again." Affirmed the blond, grabbing his sabers.
"Do you remember us?" Jin asked.
Staring at them for a few moments, Larvitar seemed surprised. Then, suddenly, displaying a mocking smile, he placed his buton next to him, before taking a fighting stance.
"Tssss! Do you want to fight? I'm warning you that it won't be like yesterday."
Larvitar use SANDSTORM.
Immediately, a storm invaded the area and hit the soldiers.
In the greenhouses of the manor
" Hey, Nakata. "
Walking towards her, while holding a basket full of roses, Sakura discreetly showed her a person.
"Do you see this girl?"
" Oui ! Why ? "
"It's Aslo! Dyra's friend who decided to work here."
Looking briefly at the girl Sakura was pointing to, Sakura only saw a young woman working while occasionally chatting with other girls.
"She doesn't look like she's forced to work here."
Sighing, Nakata couldn't hold back her frustration any longer.
"Truly, nothing here can prove that this place is a cult! The girls are free to do whatever they want! There is no religious place! We have not attended any sacrificial meetings! Finally , this place is like any other."
"But in that case, why do these girls no longer want to leave this place?" Sakura questioned her.
"What do I know? If so, it's the smell of these roses that influences their brains! Perhaps it acts like a drug and these girls find themselves unable to live without smelling the "smell of these flowers."
Then, letting out another sigh, Nakata declared.
"There is nothing here! Tonight, while the others sleep, we will leave this place and tell Garp-san that Dyra was wrong."
But as Nakara resumed her work and walked away from Sakura, the zombie girl couldn't help but look around. Was Nakata right? Did this place really have nothing to do with a cult? It seemed obvious but... remembering Dyra's distress, Sakura refused to believe in such a simple hypothesis.
Being usually quite timid, the young girl decided to act with more courage. Noticing that Zixa was also working in the greenhouse, Sakura quietly approached the exit, before finding herself outside the greenhouse. Once done, she hurried to the mansion and decided to begin further investigation.
"You little…" Helmeppo roared, directing his sabers towards Larvitar.
Larivtar use DOUBLE TEAM.
Creating several copies of his own body, Larvitar let the blond slash one of his clones before aiming at it.
Larvitar use TACKLE.
Feeling the pokemon hit him in the abdomen, Helmeppo collapsed on his back and was replaced by a dozen Jin, who ran towards Larvitar.
"You won't get us like yesterday."
Larvitar use ROCK THROW.
Making several rocks appear around him, Larvitar let them towards his opponents. Seeing this, the real Jin jumped back and saw all of his clones being crushed under the rocks.
"Damn it! It's impossible to touch this animal."
However, while Larvitar was focused on him, Coby used his speed to get behind the pokemon.
"I've got you." He affirmed, wanting to kick him.
However, seeming to sense his presence, Larvitar performed a jump before diving into the ground and managed to dig a tunnel in an instant.
Larvitar use DIG.
Seeing him disappear underground, Coby missed him and found himself alone.
" Where is he ? "
Suddenly, a crack appeared under his feet and Larvitar jumped out of the ground while aiming for his chin.
Larvitar use POUND.
Struck in the chin, Coby felt his jaw snap as his feet left the ground.
"Coby!" Jin feared, seeing him fly, before crashing into the ground.
Groaning in pain, Coby placed his hands on his aching jaws. For his part, displaying a victorious smile, Larvitar jumped with joy, as if the fact of having won this fight made him happy. Then, hastening to grab his fruit, he fled at full speed.
However, refusing to let him go, Coby quickly got up before following him exactly like yesterday.
" Come back here. "
Ignoring him, Larvitar ran through the city streets. However, instead of being annoyed at being chased, the pokemon showed a big playful smile, while he heard Coby chasing him. It's been a long time since the pokemon had fun like this. Far from thinking like him, Coby was starting to get annoyed by the situation.
However, he suddenly stopped and let the pokemon run away. Having turned his face, the boy saw a group of people walking not far from him. And, recognizing them, Coby saw Kenjo's gang, as well as Akim.
Looking down, the boy's face had more bruises than the day before, showing that he had been beaten again. Having his arm around his shoulders, Kenjo was laughing.
"It's great to have you as a friend, Akim! You're always willing to buy us food and drinks! HAAHAHAHA!"
Also laughing mockingly, Kenjo's friends passed not far from Coby, without recognizing him. Continuing to stare at them and seeing them go into the distance, the boy could help but be hesitant. It was obvious that Akim needed help. But was it really a good idea for a soldier like him to decide to reprimand the son of the mayor of this island? Wasn't the Navy going to fire him because of this?
Remaining still for a few more moments, Coby suddenly heard a voice that questioned him.
"Excuse me! Can you help me?"
surprised, Coby saw an old woman behind him.
"are you a real soldier?"
"Huh...yes." Coby assured. " Who are you ? "
Approaching him, the old woman begged him.
"Please, I'm asking you to save my grandson."
"Your grandson?"
"Yes! His name is Akim! And, recently, he has been mistreated by a gang of young people who work under the orders of a group of gangsters."
"Gangsters?"
And while Coby listened to what the old lady had to say to him, Larvitar appeared on the roof of a house. Looking displeased, he stared at Coby while wondering why he stopped chasing him.
