"Take...Take revenge?"
growing increasingly frightened by the situation, Sakura struggled to control her trembling, while Rika's new form horrified her further.
"What... What did these girls do to you that made you decide to kill them like cattle?"
"Those girls?" Rika repeated. "They didn't do anything to me."
" What ? "
Turning to three corpses that hung from the ceiling, Rika stated.
"Now that I think about it, each of those girls were good people."
Then returning to her table, she stared at a head which was resting on the wood of the furniture.
"Akina...she was a young woman who came here to earn money! She constantly told me that her dream was to earn enough money to be able to visit many islands! every time I had the opportunity to chat with her, I told her about the many places I had traveled to! Her look of wonder was always adorable to see! She was like a real child! I almost felt sorry when I saw her kill. "
"So...why? If these girls didn't do anything to you, why are you taking revenge on them?"
Turning back to her, Rika surprised Sakura as she showed a big smile, while crying.
"My power allows me to gain strength when I eat human meat! It's as if the energy of these girls merges with mine when I ingest their flesh! And to achieve my revenge, I have decided to "lose my humanity to gain strength! I know I did horrible things, but I had no other choice."
"But what revenge are you talking about?"
Preferring to ignore her question, Rika lengthened the size of her claws, before affirming.
"Zixa has been with us for several months! I spared her longer than the other girls because she had potential and I wanted her to become an even more delicious delicacy! Normally, I had planned to devour her in the next few days! But it looks like she will get another reprieve thanks to you!"
Knowing she wanted to kill her, Sakura began to struggle to escape Nakata's grasp. However, her efforts were in vain while her comrade refused to let go.
"Please...I...I'm a zombie! My flesh is probably contaminated! What do you think the harmful effects could be if you decide to eat me?"
"It's a risk I'm willing to take." Rika affirmed.
"Even if you have to die."
"Absolutely." Rika assured, opening her jaws. "First, let me bite your neck."
"HIIIIII!" Sakura feared, closing her eyes.
At this moment, hearing a noise behind her, Katarina turned around and spread her wings. Making powerful beats, she caused a strong gust of wind, which deflected a projectile. Changing trajectory, the projectile hit a wall before exploding.
"Huh?" Rika was surprised.
"An intruder." Katarina growled.
Indeed, having just entered the basement of the mansion, Emma was facing the two women with her weapon pointing towards them.
"Sorry but it looks like you have something that belongs to me."
"Emma-san." Sakura rejoiced.
"Who are you?" Rika asked.
"That woman..." Katarina began, staring at Emma. "She's a vice admiral in the Navy."
"What? What's a vice admiral doing on an island like this?"
"It's not the worst." Katarina affirmed. "She is part of the group of five Hopes of the Navy! The five vice-admirals with the best chance of becoming an admiral if a position becomes available."
" It's a joke? "
Paying little attention to the two women, Emma only looked around. And just like Sakura, she had no trouble seeing the corpses in the room. Immediately, she felt a deep uneasiness, as some sort of unpleasant memory tried to appear in her memory. A memory that Emma seemed to want to forget forever.
"Vice-admiral or not, we're going to have to get rid of her." Rika affirmed.
"Wait a second." Her sister stopped her. "This time, it's different! The disappearance of a vice-admiral like her will never be noticed by the Navy! If we kill her, we will be hunted for life."
"We just have to kill her and get rid of the soldiers on this island." Rika said. "And then we'll just have to make it seem like Axyxo is responsible for their deaths."
"Axyxo?" Emma was surprised.
"We're not stupid." Rika affirmed. "To make sure we don't have any problems regarding the deaths of these women, we brought Axyxo to this island and we pay him every month so that he stays here! Therefore, with each disappearance that is reported, "Most people think Axyxo is responsible! We're going to use him and get off this island after we've killed that woman."
"You are hateful people." Emma affirmed.
"Are you the one who dares to say that?"
Now displaying an enraged face, Rika roared.
"Do you know why I killed all these people? It was because of the Navy! The Navy is responsible for all this carnage! If the Navy never existed, these girls would still be alive."
Then, she rushed towards Emma.
"The Navy must go."
However, her claws were blocked, while Emma had positioned her firearm in front of her and used it as a shield.
"I don't understand your hatred of the Navy...but that doesn't give you any right to kill innocent people."
"Yet that's what you did." Rika roared. "The Navy is responsible for my parents' deaths and I know they did it for fun."
" What? "
Suddenly remembering a man smiling wickedly, Rika stated.
"This man...this Vice Admiral...I will never forget the smile he showed when my parents died! I could never forgive him."
Trying to attack Emma again, she slashed her weapon, while roaring.
"No matter how many people I was forced to kill, I would become stronger! And when I was the most powerful being in this world, I would hunt him down and enjoy torturing him, over and over again, until until he begs me on my knees to finish him off! I will make his life hell."
Continuing to block Rika's attacks, Emma couldn't help but feel a deep anger.
"I don't know who the person you're talking about is but…"
Suddenly, she took a step back, before aiming the barrel of her gun at Rika.
"...I could never feel sorry for you when you slaughtered all those girls."
Widening her eyes, Rika saw her fire a projectile which flew towards her. Spreading her wings, she flew to dodge it at the last instant.
"You insolent." Roared the succubus.
Taking a deep breath, she lets her cheeks puff out, before spitting a torrent of flame towards Emma. Seeing this, the vice-admiral pressed a button, which was on the right side of her weapon. Then, pulling again, she completely surprised Rika, as her body lit up. Then, a real laser beam was fired.
Colliding with Rika's flames, Emma's attack had no trouble deciding them and heading towards the succubus. Immediately flying, Rika tilted her body to the side to avoid it.
" What is this ? "
"My weapon is nothing like a regular assault rifle." Emma affirmed. "It's a weapon created by Vegapunk, which allows me to concentrate my energy on it to create much more powerful shots."
Snarling in annoyance, Rika flew towards her, wanting to slash her with her claws again.
"Do you really think I'm going to let you stop my revenge like this?"
In response, Emma closed her eyes and began to avoid each of her attacks, as she had done with Zixa.
"There's no way you're going to kill all these girls and then have me arrested here." Rika roared. "I would never allow it! The man who destroyed my life must die! I must kill him."
But as she attacked Emma, she saw her continue to dodge her attacks with disconcerting ease.
"Damn it! Why can't I touch you?"
Suddenly, Emma found an opening and aimed her weapon at the succubus again. Taking a step back, Rika showed a horrified look, while Emma fired. Yet, despite the fact that the succubus was unable to move to avoid the attack, Emma's shot grazed her face before impacting the back wall.
Surprised and frightened, Rika felt a trickle of blood flow from her cheek, as Emma's shot grazed her.
"I missed you on purpose." Emma affirmed. "Even if you are a criminal, I refuse to imitate you and kill you! Let yourself be captured and I promise to spare you and your sister.
"Grrrr! I refuse to have your pity." Rika retorted, taking a step towards her.
Unfortunately, the butt of Emma's gun hit her in the face and knocked her backwards.
"Don't make me kill you."
Seeing her sister in difficulty, Katarina spread her wings and prepared to go help her. However, she was surprised when she heard a voice behind her.
"You... Katarina-sama?"
Dropping her bamboo sword, Zixa didn't know where to look as she entered the basement.
"How much?"
Seeing the many corpses, Zixa remained silent, while she stared at Katarina. She couldn't believe what she saw. And above all, she didn't want to understand what all these corpses meant.
Refusing to admit the obvious, Zixa closed her eyes. However, she immediately remembered why Sakura and Nakata had been sent here. Finally opening her eyes, Zixa began to cry, before asking.
"You… You killed all those girls?"
Containing to stare at her, Katarina ends up questioning her.
"Why did you come down here, Zixa? You could have lived longer."
"Wh ...Why?" Zixa could only ask.
"I think it's in your best interest to let yourself be manipulated, as usual." Katarina affirmed.
Then, creating a pink cloud, she let her pheromones touch Zixa.
"Huh?" Emma was surprised, turning around.
Aiming at her, Katarina created other pheromones to control her mind. However, reacting in time, Emma grabbed her cape and positioned it against the bottom of her face, in order to avoid breathing in any pheromones. Seeing her, Katarina ordered.
" How much ! "
Picking up her bamboo sword, Zixa ran towards Emma, while she was completely controlled by Katarina's pheromones. Noticing this, Emma prepared to use her weapon to hit her.
However, two pairs of arms grabbed him to prevent him from moving.
" That ... ? "
Having been affected by Katarina's pheromones, Nakata and Sakura were also under her control. Taking advantage of the fact that Emma could no longer move, Zixa gave her a powerful saber blow to the face. Getting hit, the vice-admiral felt the weapon hit her again, again and again.
Seeing Zixa attacking Emma, Katarina affirmed.
"After all, you're not that strong! Your rank of vice-admiral is really exaggerated."
However, just as Zixa was about to strike her again, Emma raised one of her legs and struck Zixa's side. Unbalanced, the young woman changed the trajectory of her attack, which hit Sakura's head.
Like before, the power of the attack separated the zombie's head from the rest of her body, while Zixa felt the power of her own attack hit her.
Losing her head, Sakura let go of Emma in order to find her, while Zixa stepped back to clasp her hands on her face. Taking advantage, Emma pushed Nakata away before aiming her gun at Katarina.
"You lost."
However, having a premonition, Emma ducked at the last instant, while two swords flew above her. Seeing the weapons coming towards her, Katarina managed to grab them.
"Glad you're still conscious."
having managed to get up, Rika was the one who had just thrown these swords, while she held an ax in her hand. With a trickle of blood flowing from her mouth, she glared at Emma with rage.
"I'm not interested in the zombie anymore! I need that girl's energy."
"Don't worry." Katarina assured, crossing her sabers in front of her. "You will be treated to a delicious meal when we kill him."
Staring at them, Emma growled in displeasure, as she saw Zixa, Sakura and Nakata surrounding her. Wanting to grab her, Sakura and Nakata forced Emma to step back. But already, Zixa appeared behind her. Wanting to hit her with her wooden sword, she saw Sakura jump to avoid her.
But foreseeing this gesture, Katarina flew towards Emma and aimed her sabers at her. Not losing her composure, Emma used her weapon as a shield and blocked her opponent's blades. Seeing her busy protecting herself, Rika flew in turn and appeared behind Emma to hit her in the back.
Realizing this, Emma was forced to drop her weapon and ducked to avoid the axe. Then dropping to the ground, she did several jumps backwards, while the two sisters began to chase her and wanted to slash her with their weapons.
"Damn it! How long do you plan to dodge our attacks?"
In response, Emma ducked to dodge one of Katarina's swords, before hitting her in the chin with the flat of her hand. Feeling her jaws snap, the woman backed away, grunting in pain.
"She's not very strong physically, but her ability to dodge is really annoying."
"Sorry this bothers you, but it was the only way I could rise to a high level."
Remembering her childhood with her three brothers, as well as her training with Garp, she stated.
"Unlike the rest of his family, I was not born with superhuman physical abilities! I am incapable of lifting rocks or breaking them with a punch! And even after years of training, I have never succeeded to use Busoshoku haki! That's why I had to strengthen the only areas I was good at."
Having no interest in what she was saying, Rika brandished her ax to attack her. However, Emma only had to tilt her body to the side to dodge it.
"Unlike Busoshoku haki, I learned to wield Kenbunshoku haki with disconcerting ease! And knowing that I could never wield other forms of haki, I decided to train for the sole purpose of strengthening my Kenbunchosu! And thanks to this, I am able to dodge any type of attack and even identify all auras that are around me at a certain distance."
Staring at the two enemies in front of her, Emma stated.
"Hand-to-hand combat in a place like this isn't my specialty! In fact, I'm an elite sniper."
"A sniper?" Katarina was surprised. "Wait, are you telling us you're disabled in this situation?"
" Oui. "
Seeing her speaking honestly, Rika and Katarina could only get frustrated. There were five of them against Emma, in a situation which allowed them to have the advantage, and yet, the vice-admiral managed to push them back.
"It's impossible." Rika growled, clenching her fist. "I can't be that weak! Not after all the murders I've committed! I...I refuse to be humiliated like this."
Suddenly, letting anger overcome her, the succubus felt her muscles begin to grow, while she took on a more satanic form.
"Huh?" Emma was surprised, seeing her gain several centimeters.
"I will slaughter anyone who gets in my way." The succubus roared, brandishing her axe.
Forced to dodge again, Emma jumped back as the weapon slammed into the ground. Creating a huge gap, the ax split the ground in two.
"She's stronger than before."
Suddenly, Emma's eyes widened, as pink powder flew around her. Taking advantage of the distraction made by her sister, Katarina had created other pheromones and unfortunately, Emma breathed in some.
"Damn it." She growled, falling to her knees.
"This time, I've got you! Obey me and stop beating."
"Don't...Never." Sakura retorted, as her brain felt like it was about to explode.
"Tsss! Her spirit is much stronger than the other girls."
"It doesn't matter." Her sister assured her, seeing Emma on her knees. "Now she no longer poses the slightest threat."
Indeed, feeling unable to get back on her feet, Sakura fought against Katarina's pheromones, while the five girls around her began to surround her. Deprived of her weapon, the vice-admiral no longer seemed to have the slightest chance.
Gripping her hair and one of her arms, Rika lifted her up before biting one of her shoulders.
" AHHHHHHHHHH ! " Cria Emma.
Feeling the first drops of blood enter her mouth, Rika dug her teeth further into Emma's flesh in order to tear off her entire shoulder.
"Stay still and maybe I'll decide to kill you quickly."
Only able to cry in pain, Emma didn't even have the energy to defend herself. Certain that the fight was over, Katarina was surprised to hear a sound of impact, seeming to come from above her.
"Huh?" She wondered, looking towards the ceiling.
Immediately, she saw a crack appear.
" What ? "
Another sound of impact was heard and real tremors shook the room, while more cracks appeared in the ceiling.
"What's going on?" Rika asked, letting go of Emma.
At the third sound of impact, part of the ceiling fell, forcing the girls to step back. Falling in large numbers, debris caused a cloud of dust and concealed a figure who had fallen at the same time as them.
" What is ... ? "
Getting up, the figure began to growl.
"I had a harder time finding this place than I expected! I did a good job of creating this shortcut."
Eventually the dust began to clear, allowing the women in the room to see an old man with a huge build. Rubbing one of his fists, Garp declared.
"I came as quickly as I could, Emma."
However, looking around, Garp saw the young woman on the ground, holding her bloody shoulder. Then he saw the five other women facing him, as did the corpses in the basement.
Taking a few seconds to understand the situation, Garp finally stared at Rika and Katarina.
" Who did that ? "
" Huh ? "
Starting to crack his knuckles, Garp stated.
"The one who hurt my precious granddaughter, I want to know her name, so I can crush her face."
