Screaming, several soldiers were fleeing an area of Enies Lobby where multiple bombings had taken place.
" RUN ! "
"It's a real war."
Behind them, a burai was advancing at full speed, while firing his machine gun. Dodging the projectiles, Wiper then aimed at the war robot, before firing his bazooka.
" BURN BAZOOKA !
Seeing the attack coming towards him, Tohdoh activated his Nightmare's thrusters and made it move backwards. Avoiding being hit by the attack, he aimed again at Wiper, before directing his Harken Slash towards him.
Seeing the sharp weapon propel itself towards him, Wiper stretched his hand forward and let it strike the palm of his hand. As if the weapon had no edge, the harken slash struck Wiper's hand without causing any harm before falling at his feet.
"What?" Tohdoh was surprised. "Is Harken Slash defective?"
Still holding his hand out, Wiper seemed to present him with the Reject Dial he had in his hand.
"As long as I react in time, this kind of attack will have no effect on me! But if I want to use my reject against this metal monster, I better absorb other shocks."
However, not asking questions for long, Tohdoh propelled his burai towards Wiper, before grabbing his saber. Seeing the robot suddenly find itself in front of him, Wiper jumped back and saw the sword hit the ground and split it in two.
"If you don't want to die, I advise you to give up." Tohdoh said.
"Give up?" Wiper growled. "It's the worst insult for a warrior! If I have to die, I'd rather lose my life fighting! It's the only honorable death that can exist."
Hearing this, Tohdoh couldn't help but be somewhat surprised. Yet, starting to smile, he couldn't help but think that Wiper had the same pride as him.
"I understand that kind of feeling! Okay, if I win this fight, I promise to kill you to save you from living in shame."
"Thank you." Wiper said, before firing again. " BURN BAZOOKA !"
However, he was surprised to see the abdomen of the burai open while the end of a cannon came out.
" What ? "
A powerful laser beam came out of the cannon and hit Wiper's attack. Being of equal strength, the two attacks tried in vain to repel each other, before creating an explosion. Seeing smoke heading his way, Wiper jumped back to land on the roof of a small building. Seeing the entire neighborhood disappear under a layer of smoke, he tried to locate the position of the Burai.
"Damn it! Since when have these machines been able to create laser beams?"
At that moment, a harken slash came out of the smoke and headed towards him. Jumping to the side at the last second, Wiper gritted his teeth as he felt the weapon brush against his side, injuring him slightly.
Then, using two grappling hooks, the burai extricated itself from the smoke and landed on the roof where Wiper was.
"You were able to avoid my attack? It's immediately obvious that you're not an amateur."
"Grrrr! Your machine is different from the ones I've seen before."
"Indeed! This burai is a new model! Having heard about our team, a scholar named Vegapunk asked us to give him one of our Nightmares! And a few days ago, he gave us gave us around ten new burais to thank us! He had built them himself with modifications! Of course, we were suspicious about this! But in the end, it will be very useful to us."
Firing his cannon again, he forced Wiper to flee.
"Our burais are equipped with new weapons and thermal vision! Even through the smoke, it's child's play to locate the enemy."
However, jumping over the attack, Wiper found himself above the laser beam and aimed his bazooka at the burai's head.
"Maybe! But this robot's head is defenseless! BURN ..."
Suddenly, his eyes widened, as a red laser passed through his body. Spitting blood, he fell to the ground and began to cough up blood. In front of him, a hole appeared in the center of the head of the burai, and the ray that had just touched the shandien came out.
"The cannon is not the only weapon that Vegapunk has incorporated." Tohdoh assured.
Then, he propelled one of his arms towards Wiper, trying to capture him. However, activating a jet dial at his feet, Wiper moved quickly enough to avoid being captured.
And again he fired his bazooka. To counter the attack, the burai activated its cannon and a new explosion took place. Taking advantage of the smoke, Wiper rushed to a building and entered inside through one of the windows.
Letting himself lie down on the ground for a few seconds to catch his breath, the shandian then sat up, before removing the t-shirt he was wearing. Immediately, he saw blood flowing from the wound in his abdomen. Grunting, he asserted.
"It shows that I lack training."
However, not stopping to apply real care, he simply tied his t-shirt around his wound, to avoid losing more blood. And he barely had time to get up when the wall of the building was pulverized, while Tohdoh's burai found itself in front of him.
"I told you I could easily find you." Tohdoh affirmed, raising his Knightmare's saber.
However, he was completely amazed again, seeing Wiper raise his hand and let his palm block the blade of his saber.
" Again ? "
Lowering his robot's head, Tohdoh attempted to pierce Wiper again with his laser. Activating his jet dials, Wiper propelled himself towards the burai before sliding between its legs. Finding himself behind the robot, Wiper aimed it with his bazooka.
" BURN BAZOOKA ! "
Immediately dropping out saber, the burai positioned its hands behind its back before Wiper's attack hit it. The next second, another explosion shook the area. Seeing the robot disappear in a cloud of smoke, Wiper wondered.
" I got it ? "
In response, he heard mechanical noises and saw the Knightmare emerge from the smoke. Its abdomen and head didn't have the slightest damage. However, short circuits were visible in its arms, proving that Wiper's attack had caused him some damage.
"I'm still here." Tohdoh affirmed.
"Maybe, but your arms seem unusable."
"It doesn't matter." Tohdoh assured, activating the cannon in his abdomen. "I have enough weapons to kill you."
Then he fired in the direction of Wiper, who remained perfectly still. Bending his legs and getting into position, he positioned his hand in front of him and let the laser beam strike the palm of his hand.
However, compared to earlier, he groaned in pain, while he felt like his arm was going to explode. Forced to wait for his dial to absorb the entire attack, Wiper felt his feet slip backwards, as his dial threatened to explode.
Finally, Tohdoh thought he was dreaming when he saw his attack disappear entirely in the palm of Wiper's hand, while he finally saw his dial.
" A shell ? "
Gritting his teeth, as his entire arm shook, Wiper wanted to scream in pain just from moving his fingers. However, he affirmed.
"This time, my dial is fully charged."
And to prove this, he dropped his bazooka to the ground, before starting to run towards the burai.
"I'm going to finish his fight."
However, Tohdoh charged his cannon to maximum, before targeting Wiper.
"I think you're right! This fight will end now."
However, having to wait a few seconds for his cannon to fully charge, he fired towards Wiper with his submachine gun. Not slowing down, the shandian ran in a zig-zag or jumped to dodge the numerous projectiles. Unfortunately, one of the bullets hit him right in his wound, causing him to cough up blood again.
Feeling excruciating pain, Wiper felt his body fall forward, while his legs refused to carry him any further. Yet, uttering a heartfelt cry, he moved one of his feet forward and crushed it against the ground. Managing to maintain his balance, he continued his run towards Tohdoh.
Unfortunately, the burai's cannon had time to charge and fired the most powerful beam it could.
"Farewell." Tohdoh shouted.
Seeing the attack coming towards him, Wiper was sure he would never be able to avoid it. As a result, he ran headlong and let himself be hit by the attack. Immediately, he felt the front of his body being ravaged as his skin was ripped away and replaced with wounds. But continuing to show his will, he ran through the attack.
"Tell me I'm dreaming." Tohdoh shouted, seeing him do it.
"Don't make me laugh." Wiper roared. "Compared to Enel's lightning, this attack is nothing."
And finally, managing to find himself in front of the burai, he stretched his hand forward and placed his dial against the Knightmare's breastplate.
" REJECT DIAL ! "
Immediately, a shockwave spread throughout the robot. Ceasing to function, the burai suffered numerous short circuits, which forced it to fall to its knees. Then, a huge hole formed in its abdomen, pulverizing the cannon there.
Finally, continuing on its way, the shock wave passed through the robot before ending up in the cockpit of the burai. Finding himself there, Tohdoh could do nothing when he felt his own body being hit by Wiper's attack.
Spitting blood, Zero's general felt as if his body was exploding internally.
For his part, unable to hold back a cry of pain, while the counter-effect of his attack further injured his bruised body, Wiper placed one knee on the ground, while holding his injured arm. Having his vision blurred, the shandien ended up collapsing on the ground, right in front of the burai which was so damaged that Tohdoh's unconscious body was visible.
"Let me go." Fukuro ordered.
being in the process of using GEPPO while outside the tower, Fukuro tried to shake the leg that Franky was holding tightly so as not to fall into the ocean.
"Sorry buddy, but I refuse to die like this."
"In that case, I will kill you by crushing you violently against the ground."
Flying higher and higher, Fukuro finally stopped, before spinning at full speed. Forced to hold on to him to avoid being thrown, Franky immediately felt dizzy.
" But what are you doing ? "
" Chapapa! As promised, I'm going to kill you now. " Fukuro affirmed, dropping to the ground. "I'm going to crash to the ground and protect myself with my TEKKAI ! But you will be crushed like a fly."
" FRANKY CENTAUR ! "
Stunned, Fukuro saw Franky's legs split in two, before managing to grab his arms and legs to immobilize him.
"What...?" Fukuro wondered, unable to continue spinning. " What are you doing ? "
Positioning his arms in front of his face, Franky grew his forearms.
" COUP DE ...!"
"TEKKAI!"
" ... VENT ! "
Feeling like he was being hit by a powerful cannonball, Fukuro was thrown towards the ground before crashing into it with force. Disappearing into a hole shaped like his body, he lost consciousness, while Franky crashed into his body, while raising his arms in the air.
" SUUUUUUPPPPPEEEEERRRRRRR ! "
" HAIR BIND ! "
With his body bloodied and refusing to move, Chopper was completely tied up by Kumadori's hair.
"You should never have come this far." The CP9 agent said, aiming at him with his baton. "But since you had the courage to confront me without trying to escape, I will grant you a quick death."
"I…am I going to die?"
However, thinking about Robin, Chopper felt a few tingles invade his body, forcing him to move.
"DIE!" cried Kumadori.
However, his weapon missed its target, while Chopper was able to free himself by transforming.
"Huh?" Kumadori was surprised, seeing him fall to the ground.
"RUMBLE!" Chopper said, putting the medicine in his mouth.
Immediately, his body changed.
"I'm sorry, Doctorine! But, to protect my friends, I must break my promise! I just hope no one enters this room."
Unable to widen his eyes, Kumadori was forced to raise his head, as he saw Chopper transform into a horrible monster.
"YOYOI ? "
Then, finishing his transformation into Monster Point, Chopper let out a roar.
Having left the courtyard, Johnny, Yosaku, Menma and Vivi headed towards the precipice which separated them from the Tower of Justice.
"Did you understand the plan?" Johnny asked.
"Of course we figured it out." Yosaku affirmed. "And that's suicide."
"I never hid it from you."
"I'm willing to take that risk." Vivi assured.
"Me too." Menma added.
However, the child suddenly stopped and felt his whole body begin to tremble.
"Huh?" The trio were surprised as they stopped. "Menma?"
At that moment, the three adults could hear a deafening roar coming from the Tower of Justice.
"What was that?" Yosaku asked.
Looking up at the building, Johnny cried out, seeing a huge monster climbing the tower.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH! There's a monster on the CP9 team."
"No." Retorted Menma, who continued to tremble. "He...he's not part of CP9."
Remembering her misadventures in Skypiea, she affirmed.
"This monster... IT'S CHOPPER!"
" WHAT ? "
Also seeming to hear certain noises, Ryuk began to chuckle. Hearing it, Light directed his gaze towards him.
"Would you have anything interesting to say?"
"Not at all." The shinigami assured, continuing to smile.
Knowing he was lying, Light couldn't help but look behind him. And it was at this moment that Robin stopped in turn, before imitating him. Noticing this, Spandam turned towards the duo, before roaring.
"What are you doing? We're in a hurry."
Not detecting any suspicious noise, Light finally resumed his walk. However, Robin remained still.
"Why are you stopping, Nico Robin?" Spandam growled.
Remaining silent, Robin continued to stare down the hallway, as if hoping to see someone coming.
"Grrrr! How dare you ignore me? Fosha, do something."
Finally, Fosha's arm snaked around Robin's, as she beckoned her to come.
"Come on, Coro-chan."
Looking behind her for a few more seconds, Robin finally obeyed. Seeing this, Spandam couldn't help but laugh.
"HAHAHAHAHA! Your hopeful thoughts are ridiculous, Nico Robin! Do you really hope that Mugiwara will manage to come here to save you? You make me laugh! He will never be able to find this secret passage, much less catch up with us! You can always dream of him coming to us but let me tell you that this idea is preposterous! When we are behind the door of justice, he will no longer be able to do anything! Everything that awaits him , this will be a horrible death by the agents of CP9! HAHAHAHAHA!"
Wanting him to shut up and walk in silence, Akoya continued on his way. However, he stopped in his turn and looked behind him.
"Akoya?" Hiyama was surprised when he saw him do it.
Remaining silent, the man stared down the hall, furrowing his brows.
" He is coming. "
"Huh?" Spandam was surprised.
Hearing footsteps, Lucci's ear began to move, while the man smiled. Finally, a scream was heard from the other end of the hallway.
" ROOOOOBBBBBBBBIIIIIINNNNNN !
Hearing this, Fosha and Hiyama turned around and the first woman couldn't help but show an angry look.
"Mugiwara..."
"Im...Im...IMPOSSIBLE!" Spandam shouted, feeling snot dripping from his nose.
For his part, Robin showed a smile, while understanding that Luffy was coming to them.
" Luffy. "
Not very happy about this, Akoya cracked his knuckles, while asserting.
"This kid is starting to annoy me! It's time I mete out my justice."
However, Lucci's arm moved in front of him, as the man retorted.
"He's for me."
Showing a smile, Lucci assured.
"Go with Nico Robin! I'll kill him."
Running at full speed, Luffy saw a new door standing in front of him.
"Another door? Is that the exit?"
Realizing that it was not made of metal but of wood, he did not waste his time slowing down and simply gave it a powerful kick which managed to pulverize it.
"ROBIN!" He shouted, entering a room.
However, looking around, he did not see his friend.
"She's not here?"
"Glad to see you made it this far, Mugiwara."
Recognizing the voice, Luffy growled as he looked up at a man sitting on a crate.
" Pigeon-guy. "
"I hope you'll be able to entertain me." Lucci said. "In any case, know that you will never leave this place until you have defeated me."
