Staring at Vivi angrily, Fosha growled.
"How dare she come here? This bitch..."
Clenching her fist, Fosha turned to Akoya. She wanted to stop him from killing Robin. But she categorically refused to let those damn pirates kidnap her again and corrupt her further. Fosha was going to save Robin by taking her to CP0.
For his part, Akoya also refused to allow Robin to leave this island thanks to the pirates. Therefore, looking at each other for a few moments, Fosha and him finally got into a fighting position and faced the pirates.
"First we're going to kill these guys..." Akoya began.
"Then we will finish what we started." Fosha finished.
Arriving at this moment, Light and Hiyama saw Fosha rushing towards Vivi. Barely having time to see her, Vivi was hit and collapsed further.
" ARGGGGGHHHHHH ! "
"I warned you." Fosha roared. "I told you that the next time I saw you again, I wouldn't spare you."
Letting her body become covered in scales, she walked towards Vivi.
"Just seeing your face! Just seeing you is enough to make me angry! How can someone like you pretend to be Coro-chan's friend? This time, I won't spare you."
Gritting her teeth, Vivi struggled to get up, before creating wind that hit Fosha's body.
" TEKKAI! "
Letting the wind hit her, Fosha seemed to feel nothing, as she continued walking towards the former princess.
For his part, seeing Vivi and Fosha walking away from Robin, Akoya walked in her direction.
"It's time to enforce justice."
However, he stopped when he saw Johnny, Yosaku and Menma position themselves in front of him.
"If you want to kill Sister-Robin…"
"You're going to have to fight us."
Immediately rushing towards Akoya, Johnny and Yosaku attempted to slash him with their swords. Unfortunately, moving at full speed, Akoya let his fists hit the two swordsmen's faces. Immediately, Johnny and Yosaku began to cough up blood, before crashing to the ground.
Moaning in pain, they then tried to stand up, fighting the pain they felt.
"Damn it! He's strong."
Suddenly, Akoya raised his foot before crushing Johnny's body. Feeling Akoya exert strong pressure on his abdomen, Johnny began to scream in pain, while he felt as if his ribcage was breaking.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
"Johnny!" Shouted Yosaku.
Getting up, he tried to help his friend. However, reaching out to him, Akoya grabbed him by the throat and lifted him above the ground. Unable to defend himself and only able to gesticulate in vain, Yosaku then saw his opponent close his fist, before directing it towards his face.
"You will be the first to die."
Crying in terror, Yosaku was frightened when he saw his fist coming towards his face. However, a ball of fire flew towards Akoya and exploded, hitting his face. Stunned, Yosaku felt Akoya let go of him and he collapsed to the ground. Falling to the ground, Yosaku hurried away from Akoya, before seeing Menma facing the man.
" Li ... Little-Menma ! "
Letting her flames surround her, the child faced the colossus, which remained standing.
"Me too! I'm going to fight."
Letting the smoke disappear on its own, Akoya's face was visible again. But with only a few burns visible on his skin, the man didn't seem really injured. Lowering his gaze, the man looked at the child angrily. Freezing that Menma was young, he assured.
"I'm going to kill you too."
Forced to jump back, Menma saw the man's fist hit the ground and crack it.
Seeing the fight begin, Spandam saw Fosha and Akoya facing the pirates. Noticing this, the man began to smile, before rushing towards Robin.
"It's now or never for me to run away! Nico Robin, nothing will stop me from taking you with me."
Speaking too quickly, he didn't see until too late a figure fall from the sky and hit his skull.
Heracross use BREAK BRICK.
Eyes wide, Spandam collapsed to the ground. Then, the pokemon landed in front of him and positioned himself to protect Robin.
" Hera ! "
Straightening his bloodied face, Spandam stared at the pokemon with hatred.
" You little ... "
Immediately grabbing his sword, Spandam pointed it towards Heracross.
" FUNKFREED ! "
Transforming, his sword took on the appearance of a huge elephant, which moved towards the beetle. Seeing his trunk take on the appearance of a gigantic sword, Heracross flashed his horn before flying towards him.
Heracross use HORN ATTACK.
Striking each other, Funkfreed's trunk's and Heracross's horn caused sparks as they collided with a crash. Seeming to be equally strong, the two animals stared at each other. Realizing that he was unable to gain the advantage, Spandam roared.
"Funkfreed! What are you waiting for? You're five times bigger than that damn beetle! You have to defeat him."
Making a trumpeting sound, his elephant increased the power of his charge and managed to push back Heracross. Feeling himself falling back several meters, Heracross managed to land on his feet, before targeting his opponent.
Heracross use PIN MISSILE.
Creating several projectiles, the pokemon aimed them at Funkfreed. Unable to avoid them, the elephant was forced to endure the attacks which exploded when hitting him. Seeing him being hit, Heracross lit up his arm before rushing towards him.
Heracross use BREAK BRICK.
Paralysed by the pokemon's previous attack, the elephant barely had time to see Heracross appear in front of him. With his arm raised, the beetle brought it down with force on his skull.
Struck, the elephant tried to remain standing, while cracks appeared around his feet.
"Funkfreed." Cried Spandam.
Beginning to bend his back legs, the elephant looked like it was about to collapse. However, remaining conscious, he lengthened the size of his waterspout, before transforming it again into a sword.
Seeing the weapon coming towards him, Heracross tilted his body to the side to avoid it. Unfortunately, he winced as he felt the sword brush against him.
"Hera!" The pokemon growled, grimacing.
Seeing this, Funkfreed charged him again before hitting him with force. Being hit by the behemoth, Heracross screamed before crashing to the ground.
Seeing this, Robin saw his companions being manhandled by his adversaries. And the fight that worried her the most was that of Vivi against Fosha.
Forced to step back, Vivi tried to avoid Fosha's attacks, who had no trouble overcoming her.
"I wonder why you came here! Did you not understand anything during our fight on the train? Did you think why defeat me? It's ridiculous! Nothing has changed."
"It's you who doesn't understand anything." Vivi retorted, creating a new gust of wind.
Stopping, Fosha absorbed the attack without it having the slightest effect on her.
"What am I supposed to understand? You are incapable of beating me or even hurting me! So why should I believe that you have changed?"
"Because I was undecided." Vivi asserted. "I was afraid that Robin would try to push me away and refuse to come with us! But now, I wouldn't hesitate."
"Tssss! You're just talking." Fosha retorted. "And that's why I hate you."
Transforming entirely, she took on her reptilian appearance, while declaring.
"You're weak and pathetic! Are you thinking that you're Coro-chan's friend? Don't talk nonsense! If she were in danger, you wouldn't be able to save her! I'm her only friend, because I'm the only one who can protect her from those who wish her harm! And thanks to me, Robin will end up being seen as a hero."
Thinking back to her childhood in Ohara, Fosha had never given up on her childhood dreams.
"I'm going to bring justice and travel the world! And on my travels, I'll take Coro-chan with me so she can become the most famous archaeologist in the world."
Then pointing her finger at Vivi, she questioned her.
"And what would you do for her?"
"Me?" Vivi asked. "I would be her friend! And contrary to what you think, I am capable of protecting Robin."
And to prove it, she reached into her pockets, before taking out two shells.
"I'll show you that I've changed."
"Huh?" Fosha was surprised.
" THUNDER DIAL! " Vivi shouted, banging the shells together.
Immediately, electricity came out of both dials and Vivi was struck by lightning.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" She screamed, feeling electricity course through her body.
"Huh... are you stupid?" Fosha asked, seeing her glare at herself.
However, Vivi quickly stopped screaming, as she retorted.
"No, I have no reason to be in pain! I am lightning and I control it! Lightning is my ally."
Letting her body absorb the electricity, Vivi felt her strength increase tenfold and finally, her arms transformed into wings.
"What is this power?" Fosha asked, seeing her transform. "I thought she only controlled the wind."
Finalizing her transformation, Vivi managed to transform into Thunderbird. However, her transformation was much smaller than during her fight against Enel. Vivi was barely twice as big as usual.
"That's what I thought." She affirmed. "The size of my transformation depends on the power of the lightning that hits me! My gigantic size at Upper Yard was due to the devastating power of Enel! However, this will be enough."
"Are you like me?" Fosha wondered. "You have the powers of a Zoan? But that doesn't matter! You don't seem to be able to completely control your fruit."
"I would control it enough to defeat you."
Flying through the sky, Vivi folded her wings in front before spreading them. Creating feathers of lightning, she ejected them towards Fosha. Growling, her enemy puffed out her cheeks, before creating a ball of fire. Hitting each other, the two attacks caused an explosion.
Not wasting a moment, Fosha spread her wings before flying towards Vivi.
"You don't scare me! RANKYAKU !"
Flapping her wings forcefully, Fosha created sharp gusts of wind that shot towards Vivi. Flying to avoid them, Vivi unfortunately saw Fosha appear in front of her.
"Flying in the sky is something I've been doing for years! Don't expect to be able to defeat me in the sky! TEKKAI !"
Closing her fist, Fosha solidified it before punching Vivi's face. Immediately, Vivi's body left the sky and slammed into the bridge. Fearing pain, she felt her back hit the stone. However, moaning as well, Fosha felt her arm tremble, while electricity coated her fist.
Having touched Vivi's body, Fosha felt her lightning hurt her, despite using TEKKAI .
"Damn it! Her power is annoying."
Managing to get up, Vivi took support on the ground, before jumping. Taking flight, she headed towards Fosha, before creating spears of lightning.
" SORU ! "
Disappearing, Fosha flew at full speed between Vivi's attacks, before puffing out her cheeks.
Seeing her spit a fireball, Vivi was unable to avoid it and felt the attack explode as it slammed into her.
" RANKYAKU ! "
Moving her leg, Fosha targeted Vivi before managing to hit her.
"ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!" Vivi shouted, feeling the gust of wind hit her.
"VIVI!" Robin feared, seeing her crash to the ground again.
For his part, Funkfreed shook the ground as he charged Heracross again. Annoyed at being ridiculed, the pokemon lit up his horn before flying towards him.
Heracross use MEGAHORN.
Seeing him charge, the elephant surprised the pokemon, letting his body transform into a sword, before returning to Spandam's hand. Missing its target, Heracross' horn hit the ground, while he was surprised by Funkfreed's disappearance. As surprised as he was, Spandam was about to say something when he saw Funkfreed transform again.
Taking advantage of Heracross's surprise, the elephant charged him again and hit him.
"HERA!" The pokemon shouted, flying backwards.
Finally, his back scraped the ground for several meters, before stopping. Seeing him in poor condition, Funkfreed charged him to make a final attack. Hearing the jolts he caused as he ran towards him, Heracross sat up, groaning. Growling in displeasure, the beetle saw the elephant in front of him, while his trunk transformed.
" GO, FUNKFREED ! " cried Spandam.
However, spreading his wings, Heracross managed to avoid the attack, as he flew into the sky. Surprised, the elephant raised his face and saw the insect concentrating all his power to finish this fight.
Heracross use PIN MISSILE.
However, Focusing more power, Heracross felt an incredible force appear in front of his mouth and transform into a luminous energy sphere.
"What?" Spandam was surprised. " What is he doing ? "
In response, Heracross let the size of the sphere intensify, before discharging all his power towards his opponent.
Heracross use HYPER BEAM.
With wide eyes, Funkfreed saw a real laser beam shooting towards him. And the next moment, a huge explosion shook the entire bridge as the attack hit its target.
With his mouth wide open, Spandam saw his elephant disappear in the middle of the explosion, which ejected many stones in the surrounding area.
"Funk... Funkfreed..." Spandam muttered, before feeling a stone hit his face.
Exhausted, Heracross left the sky, before landing not far from the explosion zone. Now lying on the ground, Funkfreed remained motionless, while his body was completely charred. Having lost consciousness, the elephant certainly wasn't going to want another fight against Heracross.
"HERA!" The pokemon shouted, raising his arms in the air.
However, a fireball left the sky and slammed into the pokemon.
" HERAAAAAAA! " He shouted, getting burned.
" SHIGAN ! "
Flying towards him, Fosha then let her finger pierce the pokemon, forcing him to go down on one knee. Then, she raised her foot towards the sky.
" TEKKAI! "
With no time to react, Heracross felt Fosha's foot hit the top of his head and force him to collapse against the ground. Very quickly his body found itself flattened against the stone, which cracked around him, while his eyes transformed into spirals.
" He ... ra ! "
"He'll stop bothering us." Fosha said.
For his part, Akoya growled in displeasure, while Menma took advantage of her wings to fly out of his reach. Staying in the sky, she created numerous balls of fire, which struck the man. Remaining motionless, the man only crossed his arms in front of him, in order to take the attacks.
Seeing him in a defensive position, Menma continued to attack him, noting that her opponent didn't have the same powers as Lucci and the others.
"If he can't fly, I have the advantage."
Also noticing that Akoya was in difficulty, Yosaku appeared behind his back before directing his sword towards him.
" It's now or never. "
However, showing incredible reaction time, Akoya turned towards him before grabbing his skull.
"What?" Yosaku was surprised.
Then, Akoya targeted Menma before throwing Yosaku's body in her direction. Surprised, Menma felt her comrade's body hit her. Losing altitude, she felt herself falling towards the bridge. Seeing this, Akoya rushed towards her.
Noticing this, Menma created two more fireballs, which she threw towards him. Unfortunately, jumping to the side, Akoya avoided both attacks, before finding himself in front of the child. Then his elbow hit her in the abdomen. Feeling like she was being hit by a real spear, Menma gasped as she collapsed to the ground.
"Menma." Yosaku feared, seeing her defeated.
Finding himself behind him, Akoya looked down at him.
"And now it's your turn."
Feeling the man direct his fist towards him, Yosaku immediately turned towards him, before directing the palm of his hand towards his face.
" FLASH DIAL ! "
Blinded by an intense light, Akoya couldn't help but take a step back, before placing his hands over his eyes. Taking advantage of this, Johnny appeared behind him, before positioning his own dial towards Akoya.
" AXE DIAL ! "
As if he had sensed the attack, Akoya jumped forward before rolling on the ground. Dodging the attack, he nevertheless grimaced, while a red stain was visible at his shoulder. Having been slashed by Johnny, Akoya felt anger boiling within him.
"How dare evil face justice?"
Regaining his sight, Akoya stared at Johnny and Yosaku, while taking a fighting stance.
"You're just stupid pirates! If you had even the slightest ounce of intelligence, you would never have come here."
Simply growling, the two pirates in front of him grabbed their sabers, before running towards him.
"We're going to save Sister-Robin."
Having returned to her original form, Vivi stood up, while she felt blood flowing from her forehead.
"Even with my enhanced power, I am still unable to defeat her."
"Nefertari Vivi…it's an honor to meet you."
Surprised, Vivi saw a high school student walking towards her, greeting with a wide smile.
"Who...Who are you?"
"My apologies! Let me introduce myself... My name is Light Yagami! I am a CP0 recruit."
" CP0 ? "
"I'm happy to be able to meet the former princess of Alabasta." Light assured. "In truth, I sincerely wanted to apologize to you! After all, I am the man who threatened your father."
"What?" Vivi wondered.
Continuing to smile at her, Light explained.
"After Crocodile's defeat, Cipher Pol threatened your father's life so that he claimed that the main person who saved Alabasta was Smoker! I would like to apologize to you since I was the one who came up with the idea to threaten him! And, as a result, it is because of me that you are now a person wanted by the world government."
Hearing this, Vivi gritted her teeth, before roaring.
"So, it's you! It's because of you that I'm a wanted person."
Clenching her fists, Vivi asserted.
"It doesn't matter to me that I'm designated a pirate! However, I could never forgive you for the fact that you made everyone believe that I tried to kill my father by teaming up with Crocodile and Luffy. "
"That's why I apologize." Light said. "I wish your father would have decided to cooperate! But instead, he decided to tell the truth and expose my own blackmail! And because of that, Sengoku was not happy! However, it was a great success ."
"What are you talking about?" Vivi roared. "Since my father spoke the truth, the World Government was greatly criticized in Alabasta! It was because of this that my father ordered our country's independence! Alabasta will never trust you again."
"And that's why I threatened your father." Light affirmed. "That's exactly what I wanted him to do."
" What ? "
"Monkey D. Luffy...he is now the pirate considered to be the ruler of Alabasta! This island is part of his territory! And because of this, many people are hesitant about attacking Alabasta! Mugiwara's bounty is now Alabasta's best defense to prevent any pirate invasion."
Extending his smile, he asked a question at Vivi.
"However, if Mugiwara was killed, what do you think would happen?"
Knowing what he was talking about, Vivi groaned.
"Without Luffy and the government to help them, the people of Alabasta will be threatened by the other Grand Line pirates."
"That's exactly it." Light affirmed. "I think that your country's army will be able to repel the first invasions! However, it seems obvious to me that your country will end up being in serious difficulty in the face of repeated attacks from pirates who want to claim this island as part of their territory! And To prevent this, Cobra will be forced to seek help from the World Government! And of course, we will come to his aid immediately! But with some conditions."
Raising a few of his fingers, Light stated.
"Because of your history, the Navy has never had the right to build any naval base in Alabasta! But if Cobra implores us to come and help him counter the pirate invasions, he will be forced to accept the arrival of many Navy soldiers who will remain on the island! And thanks to this, our search for the poneglyph of your island will be easier! And Pluto will belong to us."
"You did all this…to find an Ancient Weapon?"
"Exactly." Light assured. "Sorry this was bad for you."
Realizing that he was far from sincere, Vivi forced herself to get up, before letting electricity cover her arm.
"YOU...You're going to pay me for it."
However, as she rushed towards Light, Vivi was surprised to feel a hand grab her arm. Having returned to her, Fosha now wore a pair of gloves. And feeling one of the gloves touch her arm, Vivi felt her strength abandon her.
" W ... What ? "
"These gloves are a gift from my father." Fosha affirmed. "The inside of these gloves are made of ordinary fabric! However, the outside is made of seastone-based fabric! To put it simply, I can wear them without the slightest problem and all I have to do is touch people having eaten a devil fruit to immobilize them."
Then, his second hand grabbed an object, which was a pair of handcuffs. Unable to defend herself, Vivi felt the handcuffs close around one of her wrists.
"Handcuffs?"
Suddenly, Vivi fell to her knees, while she was unable to make the slightest movement.
"Se…Seastone…" She whispered.
Now unable to defend herself, she cried out in pain, as she felt Fosha's knee hit her face, and knocked her to the ground.
"VIVI!" Shouted Robin.
Then, Yosaku's body crashed not far from her, while the man's face was bloody. Not being in any better condition, Johnny struggled to get up, while he saw Akoya facing him.
"Damn it! Who...Who is this monster?"
Seeing her friends in danger, Robin wanted to rush towards them. However, no longer seeing anyone likely to threaten him, Spandam grabbed her hair to hold her back.
"This time, you won't run away."
"Let me go." Robin ordered him.
Obliging her to follow him, as he walked towards the bridge, Spandam ordered.
"Hurry up and kill those damn pirates."
However, he became frightened when he saw Yosaku get up in front of him.
"You... You won't leave." The man affirmed.
"What?" Spandam wondered.
However, seeing Yosaku's bloodied body, who was struggling to stay standing, Spandam showed a mocking smile.
"HAHAHAHA! Do you really think you can win against us?"
"You don't understand! We never planned to win this fight." Yosaku affirmed.
" What ? "
"We didn't have the slightest chance of winning against CP9 agents." Johnny assured. "However, we can force you to stay here! We will hold you for as long as it takes to allow Aniki and the others to join us and save Sister-Robin."
Smiling then, Johnny assured.
"We will lose this battle! But we will make sure our friends can win the war."
Hearing it, Light affirmed.
"I can't understand you! Nico Robin was your enemy! Why are you willing to sacrifice yourself for her?"
Groaning, Vivi stated.
"You're right! Miss All Sunday is my enemy and I hate her! However,..."
Staring at Light and Fosha with a determined look, the former princess stated.
"Robin is my friend! And that's why I would save her."
