Neb: I do not own Ducktales. Now back to Louie Duck as he, Uncle Scrooge, and their friends head back to the manor with the new artifact that will open up the world to new adventures. Louie however isn't thinking about that. He's more concerned with his brothers having to deal with the red duckling he caused conflict with.

The Sunchaser was fixed, but didn't have a lot of fuel left inside it. Because of this, the group had to stop at a nearby town in Florida for Launchpad to refuel the plane. Gosalyn and Drake Mallard (AKA Darkwing Duck), followed behind in their own plane before stopping near their location. Apparently Drake forgot to fuel his plane as well.

Louie had just about enough of this adventure. He'd rather be back at home helping his brothers, but he couldn't tell anyone that. It's not that he didn't want to throw the red duck under the bus, but if he did so it would put Dewey and Webby in trouble given their plan was just to hit the kid. "Stupid Dewey," Louie thought. "Stupid Webby, why is she always punching people?" Louie flashed back to all the times he'd been punched by Webby, sometimes by mistake and sometimes on purpose. "The kid clearly had magical artifacts on him, so we needed to learn what they did first before taking action." Louie got off the plane in a hurry when it came to a stop. He figured he should search around town for something he could use when he inevitably has to fight that kid.

"Where are you going lad?", Scrooge called out. "The Plane won't take that long to refuel."

"Just going out for a Pep," Louie lied. "I'll be back in less than an hour."

"I'll go with him," Gosalyn decided.

"Alright then," Scrooge nodded. "Stay together and no misbehaving!"

The two of them headed out of the airport area and were in a small town full of palm trees and lots of stores to shop in.

Louie kept a calm expression on himself as he scanned each of the stores for some place that might sell runes or anything he can con the kid into leaving his family alone with.

Gosalyn had sparkles in her eyes as excitement took over. She's use to being in larger cities where every store in the city is owned by some big brand company, hardly ever would she see such unique stuff everywhere. "Keen gear! A hat store? A store just for hats!"

"Um yeah," Louie responded. "Is that a big deal. Oh wait, there's a comic store. Your into that stuff also aren't you?"

"That's more my dad and Launchpad," Gosalyn admitted. "I'm not apposed to superhero stuff, but I don't really nerd out over it." She ran into the hat store without a second thought.

"Are you kidding," Louie yelled. "We have less than an hour!"

"We can cover the whole town in less than an hour," Gosalyn argued. "Besides, mamma wants a new baseball cap!"

Louie facepalmed and then headed in the store. Huey was more the hat person, plus Louie only had a small amount of cash given he had to buy back the Medusa's Gauntlet from Albert.

"Oh, they even have jersey's in here," Gosalyn pointed out.

"Funds are low," Louie pointed out. He wasn't going to be able to con the kid with clothes, so he needed to move the shopping spree along. "I'm pretty sure I saw a baseball store along the way."

"You did?!" Gosalyn responded with joy. "Where?"

"Follow me," Louie ordered as he headed out of the store.

Gosalyn found a purple baseball cap she liked quickly and dropped ten dollars on the counter before running out of the store after Louie.

Louie kept pushing forward ignoring several of the other clothing stores and milkshake shops that Gosalyn wanted to visit. Then he came upon a store with a statue of a dragon in front of it. "Right here, good old fashion baseball," he lied.

Gosalyn gave him a sour look after that. She humphed and then turned around to go check out one of the more interesting shops.

"We have to stick together," Louie called out. "The adults said so, not my fault."

"I can't believe you lied to me already," Gosalyn pointed out. "Dewey didn't act like this when I first met him."

"Dewey didn't tell you that I'm the evil triplet," Louie chuckled. "Besides, you got to admit this store looks so much cooler." He didn't actually like the store. Actually he normally tried to avoid places like this after his family got stuck in a Magic Casino that was sapping the luck from his Uncle Gladstone.

"We do this one shop first," Gosalyn agreed. "Then we go where ever I want!"

"Sure of course," Louie shrugged. He hoped that whatever he was looking for was in here. He didn't need anything that was actually magic, just something that looked that way. If he could convince Albert that whatever he finds is more valuable than the Medusa's Guantlet, he can keep his brother's and Webby safe.

The two of them headed into the Blue Dragon store. There were a whole bunch of different themes inside this store. A section for anime and manga fans, a section for people who like medieval fantasy or Samurai and Ninjas, and there was even a section that was labeled the Warlock's cauldron.

"Perfect," Louie grinned. He didn't want to give the boy anything sharp, just something that looked both ancient and powerful. They headed into the Cauldron section of the store.

"Keen Gear," Gosalyn spoke out her catchphrase again. "I should come down to Florida more often."

"I gotta say, it's overrated," Louie shrugged. "Last time my family were down here, we almost had our youth sapped from us."

"Then why come to a place called the Blue Dragon?", Gosalyn wondered. "Why even explore town? If your that afraid of the area..."

"I'm not afraid of the area," Louie explained. "I'm just a little bit more cautious than my brothers when it comes to places like this. I only put the work in when it comes to exploring is if there's profit behind it."

Gosalyn looked at several shelves that had statues of dragons, hands, crystal balls, and stones with drawings on them. She frowned thinking this place was a waist of time.

"A crystal ball will do nicely," Louie decided. "Hey shop keep, do you have any of these that look ancient?"

The shop keeper who was a duck like them turned around. He had black hair and green feathers and he smiled at them. "Of course, I keep many magical secrets within this shop." He went to the employee closet for a moment and pulled out three crystal balls from it. One that was red and had a crack on it. One that was clear, but was yellowing with time, and the third with a black crystal ball that had purple sparkles inside it. "Any of these will make excellent props if your into cosplay or school plays. Though most people usually just grab what I have on the shelves."

"Yeah, the ones on the shelves scream that they came from a gift shop," Louie shrugged. He pointed at the cracked red crystal ball. "Any way's to make it look older?"

"Sandpaper always worked for me," the shop keeper admitted. "I've been meaning to get rid of these anyways, So I'll sell you each of them for half off."

"I'll take the black one," Gosalyn decided. She may not care about magic or nerd stuff, but she does like discounts. The black crystal ball was in the best condition between the three anyways, so she could probably resell it at full price.

They wrapped up their crystal balls and headed out the shop. They still had twenty minutes to kill before they were expected back at the planes, so they headed off to places that Gosalyn wanted to visit.

The green feathered duck stared after them and then shrugged before heading back in the shop.

"Hey Poe," the manager spoke up. "I need help at the register!"

"Coming," the green feathered duck called out.
