Neb: I do not own Ducktales. Huey was hiding in his room after his humilation he received from Albert the Red Duck. He is the only triplet who is unaware of why the twelve year old kid had it out for him. Della stayed behind to comfort and protect her son while Louie went off on an adventure and Dewey went with Webby to go fight the kid Albert. Now Lena is on her way back to the manor ahead of the others to patch things up with Huey. I hope you all enjoy.

Huey got out of bed after having the longest discussion with the Duke of Making a Mess that he had ever had. From what he knew, Louie was out on an adventure with Scrooge, while Webby and Dewey were out getting ready to cause havoc to the red feathered duck... If they hadn't already. His mom was none the wiser about the situation that was going, but to be honest neither was he. He knew the preteen was picking on him for a reason, but he didn't know what reason. Was it because Huey brought a deck that prevented players from playing the game. If that was the case, it was well deserved then. Huey didn't want to upset people with his strategy, it's just he also really wanted to win. Plus out of all of Huey's traits, imagination wasn't his strongest one. He enjoys amazing things like adventure, technology, and magic. He just never really came up with any of that stuff himself. Everything he has done was due to a strict guideline or guide book that he followed.

"So are we getting revenge or not?"

"This again," Huey mumbled. His brain was broken. He knew this his whole life, but it was never more clear than when he went in that competition for Senior Woodchuck against Violet and conjured up a talking version of his Guide Book. He told his mom once about that, but she said he had a wild imagination which he knew was incorrect. Deep down, he knew that his mind was a mess.

"Quit contemplating my existence and go fight already," The Duke ordered. "It'll be as easier than taking down Steel Beak."

"Yeah, I think Webby and Dewey have it handled to be hone," Huey blurted allowed again. "It's just a kid after all. We've faced worse."

"Your infuriating!"

"I know," Huey sighed. He headed out of his room after finishing the alphabet soup that had gone cold and headed down to the kitchen. What he didn't expect when he got down there was Lena waiting for him. Huey panicked in that moment. "Maybe I should run!"

"Oh sure, you say that bit in your head!", The Duke complained.

Huey turned around, but was grabbed a hold of. He could feel a mystical aura around him as he was levitated off the ground.

"Oh no you don't," Lena called out as she made Huey float towards her.

"Lena, I'm sorry for what I said!"

"Well I'm not," Lena yelled back.

Huey went silent after that and then stared at her.

"Look, I'm not saying yes obviously, but your not the worst of the brothers. I just didn't expect it, that's why I didn't say anything. I mean, your a little kid!"

"I'm sorry," Huey apologized again. "I didn't want to make things weird. I'm scared to say it was because I lost a bet, because that makes me an even worse person. Asking you out because of something like that."

"I know what happened," Lena responded. "Dewey and Webby filled me in. The kid you lost to apparently had a grudge against Louie. He took it out on you which is why Webby and Dewey went to go confront him. But the kid also has magic. He planned all of this out for some reason."

Huey was panting and sweating. So all of this was Louie's fault, that made it ok right. Louie hardly ever thought of consequences, so it made sense. Still, why hasn't Lena flat out rejected him. This is the only way to move forward, is to be rejected and then accepting the situation. "Just go ahead an reject me already. That's why your here isn't it! You can say you have better things to do, and it'll all be ok!" Huey said that last piece in sort of a maniacal way. His eyes were red even as if the Duke was rummaging around in his head making him say these things. Everything froze around him and they were back in Huey's mindscape. "W-why did you bring us here."

"I thought you two worked things out together," Lena pointed out. "Are you and the Duke not on the same page anymore?"

"The Duke, only wants to fight people," Huey yelled. "That's not what I want! I'm sorry I couldn't fuse and be one whole person again, but he'd taken on a life of his own!"

"There you are," the Duke yelled. "Quit locking me away and go fight."

"He couldn't talk last time I was here," Lena pointed out.

"He didn't have room to grow last time you were here," Huey admitted. "Being tricked by Bradford and this new kid brought out new troubles for me, meaning the Duke had taken on a new persona. I-I'm just so tired of being controlled."

"Look at it from his perspective," Lena pointed out. "So is he."

"But if I let him out, He'll..."

"Make a mess," Lena finished his sentence. "Yes he will, but he'll also have to be the one to clean up his own messes. That's why holding him in is wrong. Your the one paying for the mistakes and outbursts that he makes."

Huey looked down in frustration. The Duke followed his patterns like a mirror.

"Come on," Lena grabbed both of them by the shoulders. "This space you created belongs to you two, not to Bradford, Magica, or the kid who tricked you. It's your space."

The Duke and Huey continued to gaze downward and then sighed.

"How will things go back to normal?", Huey wondered.

"Forget normal," Lena smiled. "Just stay weird."

Huey smiled and nodded. They exited the landscape and Huey was now breathing normally.

"My answer is yes by the way," Lena pointed out. "Just, don't take me to any nerdy places ok."

Huey's eyes widened as a new thing to freak out about emerged.

"Ok bye," Lena waved her hand as she left the mansion. She saw the rest of her friends coming to the mansion and decided she didn't want to be bombarded with questions, so she used her magic to fly off the other direction.
