Neb: I know, it's been a while. Last chapter Louie was looking for more information about Albert's family and what happened to them. The pieces are coming together, because Della and Dewey had learned about the missing pilots, and Louie had learned of Albert's ties to them. Now it is up to Huey and Violet to put together the remaining pieces. Get ready soon for an epic battle, as Albert attempts to exact his revenge. I do not own Ducktales.
A blue convertible pulled up to the comic store to pick up Huey and Violet. The driver was Captain Penumbra of the 'Planet' Moon.
"Greetings red Della and earth girl," Penumbra spoke up.
"Hey Penny," Huey responded.
"Greetings Penumbra," Violet nodded.
"So mom sent you to pick me up," Huey figured.
"That is correct," Penumbra smiled. "I have conquered your earth vehicles and will now be driving you to wherever destination you see fit. So shall I take you back to the mansion, or is there a preferred place you'd like to go."
"For now let's get back to the mansion," Huey decided.
"Yes, we have much to discuss with the others upon their return to Duckberg," Violet nodded.
"Very well," Penumbra nodded. "Hop inside the vehicle Earthlings, and I will take you to your destination."
The three of them were driving back to the mansion, until Huey caught a glimpse of a familiar face out the window. He saw Albert standing out on the sidewalk staring at them as they drove by.
"Wait Penny," Huey spoke up. "Stop the vehicle."
The car came to a sharp halt as Penumbra looked around confused. "Is there an attacker?"
"Remains to be seen," Violet figured as she looked out the window at Albert as well.
Huey and Violet got out of the car and headed over towards Albert.
"Hubert," Albert spoke up. "And Violet Sabrewing I assume?"
"You are correct," Violet nodded.
"Albert," Huey begun. "We need to talk things out. What you did was uncool, it was humiliating. But I'm willing to bury the hatchet if you tell me why. Why go through all that just to get back at Louie."
"Louie crossed me," Albert responded. "He will continue to cross me, because that is his nature. But my grudge has nothing to do with the garage sale."
"Then I was correct that there was a deeper issue," Violet pointed out. "Why the animosity?"
"That would be unfair to reveal everything at this point," Albert smiled. "You honestly thought the game ended back at that local tournament. Our battle is still going."
"So he is an enemy," Penumbra realized as she pulled out a golden spear. "Leave Della's offspring and their friends alone."
"Ah, the moon warrior," Albert figured. He snapped his finger and turned away. Then all of a sudden Penumbra was punched back by a familiar foe.
"Steelbeak," Huey responded shocked. "What are you doing here?"
Penumbra remained on her feet and charged at Steelbeak before he could respond to Huey's question.
"Come on," Steelbeak growled. "At least give me a chance to villain monologue."
"Steelbeak and I have seen eye to eye," Albert spoke up. "The Duck family is his enemy, just as you triplets are mine."
"He works for you then," Violet realized.
"I don't work for a kid," Steelbeak growled.
"I pay you," Albert pointed out. "So yes you do."
Steelbeak rolled his eyes before clamping his beak down at the tip of the spear and breaking it off. "Steel is stronger then gold!"
"Fine," Penumbra growled before tossing the golden stick aside. "I'll fight you bare handed then."
"Steelbeak," Albert spoke up. "Let's let our new recruits handle this. After all, we are about to get a new visitor."
Right on queue, Gizmoduck flew down and threw several pies at Steelbeak. "Stop fiend... Steelbeak? So you crawled out of whatever hole you were hiding in, and now your picking on children. Could you get any lower?"
"Oh I can get lower," Steelbeak high fived himself, thinking that was a good comeback.
Albert facepalmed before stepping back. "Where are your new recruits?"
"They are running behind," Steelbeak realized.
"Are you kidding me?", Albert growled.
"You told me to abandon the other ones," Steelbeak argued.
"Because they got caught," Albert shook his head. "I thought you said you new the basics of being a villain."
"Yes, cool suits and big lazers," Steelbeak explained.
Huey, Penumbra, Violet, and Gizmoduck's heads moved back and forth as they watched the two foes argue with each other.
"W-what?", Albert responded. "That's not all there is!"
"And explosions and stealing," Steelbeak added.
"I like this guy's style," a grim and gritty voice spoke up.
"I do as well," another familiar woman's voice laughed.
Purple smoke emerged around the area as the shadow sorceress Magica De Spell and a yellow version of Darkwing Duck appeared before them.
"Yes," Magica smiled. "Apparel, blasts of energy, stealing, and explosions are the main gist of being a villain."
"Magica?", Huey responded shocked. "How many more of our foes are you working with?"
"Why is Darkwing Duck with them?", Gizmoduck pointed out.
"Oh I'm not that Darkwing loser anymore," the duck in yellow laughed in a sinister manner. "I am that dorkwing's darker half, the plague that will haunt his nightmares, Negaduck!" He let out another laugh.
"Oh and evil laughs," Steelbeak added.
"Yes, how could we forget that one," Magica agreed.
Albert facepalmed once more, but remembered this was the group he asked for. "I'm unfamiliar with Negaduck, but I'm surprised you got Magica."
"Well little boy," Magica begun. "I to feel your hatred for Clan McDuck, so of course I joined your little band of villains for a chance to remove these pests!"
"I was promised a good amount of money," Negaduck shrugged. "I could care less about Scrooge or his family. But I'd take out Darkwing for free."
"Excellent," Albert smiled. "He is one of their allies, so that works out."
"You're not touching Darkwing," Gizmoduck pointed out. "Or Scrooge, or any of his friends or family. Not while Gizmoduck stands in your way."
"Or with me here either," Penumbra pointed out. "Della left me in charge to watch Red and Green Della, not to mention you owe me a new spear."
"I like it," Albert decided. "Magica and Negaduck will fight Gizmoduck and the moon warrior as part of their initiation into our circle."
"Please I could make short work of them myself," Negaduck laughed.
"I was going to say the same thing," Magica grinned.
"Is this what you really want?", Huey asked Albert. "You're smart enough to know right from wrong."
"I don't care about right and wrong," Albert shook his head.
Magica and Negaduck charged at their group. Magica started by throwing blasts of purple lightning towards them.
Gizmoduck met her head on as he threw his own pies in the way of her blasts of energy.
Penumbra wound up fighting Negaduck as the two were punching and kicking at each other. In spite the fact that the moon warrior was stronger, Negaduck was actually pretty agile.
"Hold still," Penumbra yelled.
"Is this all you got?", Negaduck laughed.
"This metal tin can can't hope to keep up with my raw power!", Magica exclaimed.
"This isn't good," Gizmoduck realized. He decided Magica was a big enough threat to start firing missiles at her, but she was able to shield herself with her magic as well as being able to send the same kind of fire power back at him.
Penumbra then connected a punch to Negaduck's gut sending him flying back as he landed into a wall. "Hah, take that feeble Earthling!"
"Feeble!", Negaduck growled before pulling a stick of dynamite out of his cape. He laughed wildly before he started throwing explosives at the moon warrior.
Penumbra couldn't close the distance anymore thanks to the dynamite, and she didn't even carry a lazer gun anymore. "Not good," she grunted.
"Enough of this Albert," Violet spoke up. "You've made your point."
"I don't think I have," Albert shook his head. "But I will hear you out."
"Huey and I would like to challenge you to Duck Calling," Violet decided.
"Yeah," Huey nodded. "If we win you stop hurting our friends and family."
"And you tell us what caused you to go down this path to begin with," Violet added.
"That's quite a steep price," Albert yawned. "If you bet the Star Chart, I'll gladly face you both."
"What?", Huey responded. "We don't even have the Star Chart, Uncle Scrooge is using it."
"Then there is nothing to talk about," Albert shook his head. He watched as Penumbra flew into her car denting it. Then he turned to see Gizmoduck fall from the sky and crash into the ground as he was surrounded by Magica's energy. "That's enough for now."
Negaduck and Magica stopped and then turned to him.
"You've shown you're far superior to the common ally of the Duck family," Albert grinned. "Don't worry Hubert and Sabrewing. We will face each other soon. For now tend to your fallen soldiers."
Violet was next to Gizmoduck as she was trying to pull him out from the rubble he was buried in.
Huey was checking on Penumbra making sure she was ok.
"So far the only one in your family who's proven to be challenging was Webby," Albert sighed.
"Who?", Negaduck responded.
"No, that actually makes sense," Magica admitted.
With that Albert created a strong wind with his silver dragon rings and the villains had all disappeared.
