Neb: I do not own Ducktales. Last time, before the Louie and Huey bits, Dewey and Webby were headed to the City of Caesars, also known as a city of gold, with Della Duck and Scrooge McDuck. A little family adventure if you will. The group learns from Scrooge that there were other pilots after Della that went up into space after she had left with the Spear of Selene eleven years ago. That wasn't even the craziest part, apparently not all of them made it back either, some of them were just looking for excuses to leave Earth, while others were lost. Della was distraught by this discovery and vowed that she would work towards rescuing the remaining Pilots. Now the Louie bit was him finding out about the missing Pilots as well, but he learned that Albert's parents were among the Pilots lost. The Huey part was a battle of good vs evil. The Moon Warrior Penumbra took on Negaduck, while Gizmoduck tried his best to fight Magica De Spell. Unfortunately, both heroes were no match for the two villains. Violet and Huey challenge Albert to a game of Duck Calling, but he declines claiming that they don't have what he needs. But he states if they wager the Star Charts of Captain Canary, then he will gladly face them. Yeah, so a lot has happened, I do not own Ducktales.
The Duck family, specifically Della Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Webby Vanderquack McDuck, and Dewey Duck had entered a rift that was pointed to them by the Star Charts of Captain Canary. From there they were able to land the plane in this large forest that stretched for miles along the new mountain ranges.
"The trees are so high," Della pointed out. "I can't see if there even is a city of gold?"
"That's ok," Scrooge figured. "We can look for it on foot. As long as we have the Star Chart, we'll be able to find any hidden palace."
After the Darkflare had landed, the four of them got off the plane and headed through the vast jungle.
"Stay close everyone," Scrooge ordered. "We don't know what kind of dangers could be lurking around this area."
"This adventure might take a lot longer than usual," Della admitted. "Don't we have to wait until nighttime for the Star Chart to activate?"
"The Star Chart had already activated," Scrooge shook his head. "It's leading us to the City right now. The only way to change it's destination is to wait for the sun to set."
"So you can only have it draw up where you want to go when there's actually stars out," Webby figured.
"Exactly," Scrooge nodded.
"You've been awfully Quiet Dewey," Della pointed out. "That's not like you, is everything ok?"
"I'm fine," Dewey waved her concern away. "I'm just as excited as anyone else for this adventure." To be honest Dewey was still thinking about Albert. The last time he saw the red Duck boy, he was talking on the phone acting like he was some important C.E.O. To be fair, Dewey didn't think much of it at the time, because this kid was associated with Louie who does the same thing. But now Dewey was remembering parts of the conversation that stood out. The boy mentioned hiring Graves, one of Dewey's many nemesis. Not to mention whoever he was talking to failed to get a map. Dewey looked at the Star Chart and wondered if that was the map Albert was talking about. The kid was obsessed with Magical Items.
"What you thinking about?", Webby whispered to him.
Dewey shook his head. "I'm not sure yet. Violet once said that Albert might have it out for all three of us. I think she might be on to something."
"So, do you think he works with F.O.W.L?", Webby wondered. "I mean, that was my theory. The only group that ever rivaled Scrooge when it came to finding treasure and artifacts were them."
"I don't know," Dewey shook his head again. "Unlikely, I think. F.O.W.L disbanded."
"But Louie and Scrooge bumped into them on their last adventure," Webby pointed out. "At least what remained of them."
"It just seems odd for them to be recruiting a kid," Dewey figured. "Not to mention, Albert has been acting more like the boss. Would F.O.W.L even work for a kid?"
"If he had enough money I guess?", Webby figured. "Where did he gets those magic items anyways?"
"We should have been asking these questions when Violet was there," Dewey realized. "The kid is trying to pick a part our family, and here we are splitting up from each other."
"The others will be fine Dewey," Webby assured him. "Plus, we're helping your mom with her new mission. Finding the missing pilots."
"R-right," Dewey agreed. "Sorry about that."
"Hey don't worry about it," Webby smiled. "It's ok to be concerned for your family's safety."
Dewey cleared his throat before running ahead of the rest of the group. "So are we going to make it to our Dewstination, or will this be the mission where we meet our Deewmm," Dewey joked.
"Looks like he's found his second wind," Scrooge chuckled.
"Of course he did," Della grinned. "He's my kid after all. My boys are Dellauntless."
"Good one," Dewey laughed.
"This is going to be a long Journey," Scrooge sighed as Webby ran by. She turned to him and smiled, to witch Scrooge smiled back before pushing forwards.
