Universe of DC Comics
Entering a cave located beneath the earth, Tres walked in the darkness, while no noise could be heard around her.
Finally, stopping, she found herself facing a stone statue. Examining it, she noticed that the statue represented a young woman. However, unlike a normal statue, Tres knew that it was actually a woman's body that had been petrified.
Under the statue's feet was a stone tablet inscribed:
Earth
A teen titan
A true friend
Staring at the stone statue, Tres grabbed a piece of paper where a magic seal was visible. Then, sticking as the statue, Tres saw the paper burning, before giving off an intense light. Finally, appearing to teleport, Terra's petrified body disappeared, along with Tres.
Dodging explosions, Raven growled.
"This stupid magician is seriously starting to annoy me."
Seeming to hear her, Mumbo snickered, while continuing to wave his magic wand. Targeting a mailbox, he managed to lift it before throwing it towards the Teen Titans.
However, positioning himself in front of the object, Cyborg stretched his arms out in front of him, before receiving it. Managing to stop it, the cyborg aimed at Mumbo before throwing the mailbox towards him.
"I'll give this back to you."
Continuing to smile, Mumbo grabbed his cape and used it to completely hide his body. Hitting the cape, the projectile made it disappear entirely, while Mumbo teleported behind his opponents.
" I am here. "
Barely having time to turn around, Beast Boy saw him conjure a bouquet of flowers and position them in front of his face.
"A gift for you, my friend."
Unfortunately, appearing between the flowers, a powerful water cannon targeted the hero's face, before spraying him with water. Feeling like he was being hit by a veritable geyser, Beast Boy's body jerked backwards.
Seeing this, Starfire let her eyes light up, before throwing several explosive spheres towards Mumbo.
Grabbing his hat, Mumbo simply let the attacks penetrate inside his top hat and disappear there. Putting his hat back on his head, he began to applaud an invisible audience as he declared.
"Please applaud my assistant's help in successfully performing this magic trick."
Annoyed rather than impressed, Robin rushed towards him, while armed with his fighting staff.
"Try to make that go away."
Once again, Mumbo positioned his cape in front of him, aiming to disappear. Wanting to act before he could finish his turn, Robin hit the garment with all his might. Unfortunately, feeling his weapon hit something hard, Robin's arms began to shake, as he dropped his staff.
Having revealed the door of a huge armored vault, Mumbo was hidden behind it.
"Too bad! But it was a good try."
" AZARATH METRION ... "
Turning around, Mumbo saw Raven surround himself with a black sphere, before creating two giant arms of the same color.
" ZINTHOS ! "
Immediately jumping back, Mumbo saw the first fist hit the ground and pulverize it. However, the second hand grabbed him, and made him disappear between its fingers.
"He's captured." Cyborg rejoiced.
Unfortunately, letting the giant hand open, Raven growled as she noticed the villain had disappeared. Then hearing his laughter, the Teen Titans raised their faces and saw the magician waving at them, while he was holding a huge bag of money.
"It was definitely an entertaining fight! But I think it's time for me to leave and find a smart way to spend this stolen money."
Starting to run away, the man was however surprised when he saw a young woman appear in front of him.
" Huh ? "
"Hello!" Suzuka said to him, waving.
" Who are you ? "
As a response, Suzuka found herself in front of the magician, while she had lengthened the size of her nails. Not even having time to use his magic to protect himself, Mumbo felt Suzuka's claws slashing at him.
Spitting blood, he felt his body fall backwards, and in this way he fell from the roof where he was. Crashing to the ground, Mumbo surprised the Teen Titans, who had not understood what had just happened.
"He...He fell?" Beast Boy wondered.
Wanting to prove otherwise, Suzuka let herself fall from the roof, before crushing the magician's abdomen under her feet. Finishing him off, the young woman seemed disappointed.
"I wish the fight had lasted longer and he could have hurt me."
Finally, raising her foot, she prepared to crush Mumbo's head to kill him. However, Robin's stick hit the sole of her shoe, stopping her.
"Hey! What are you doing? I don't know why you helped us, but that doesn't give you a reason to kill him."
"Oh?" Suzuka said. "Is this your way of thanking me? After all, from what I could see, this guy could have gotten away, if I hadn't intervened! Even with five of you, you were nothing. "
"Grrrr! Don't talk nonsense." Cyborg retorted. "It's true that this guy's magic is annoying! But we've already defeated him several times and we would have done the same without your help! Claiming to be a vigilante doesn't give you the right to kill him."
"Rights are only granted to the strongest." Suzuka affirmed, with an evil smile. "And they are also the strongest who rule the world! It has always been like this."
Then, extending her nails again, Suzuka asked.
"How about I give you a demonstration?"
Immediately, Cyborg aimed one of his cannons at her, before firing. Not trying to defend herself, his opponent felt the attack explode as she hit her. However, it was with a happy voice that she affirmed.
"I love pain."
"Huh?" Cyborg was surprised, seeing her still standing.
Having only a few burns on her, Suzuka displayed a pleased smile as she declared.
"Pain is the most exquisite thing! I only live for it."
"Is she crazy?" Beast Boy asked.
"It's been a long time since I stopped understanding the mentality of villains." Raven affirmed.
Seeing her use her magic, Suzuka sighed.
"I wish I could fight you and let you hurt me before killing you! However, I have orders! Otherwise, Widos will refuse to grant me my wish."
" Huh ? "
"You will come with me." Suzuka affirmed.
Arkham asylum
Gritting his teeth, the Riddler felt like his superb brain was about to explode. Wrapping his pillow around his head, the man finally let his anger dictate his actions.
Getting up, the prisoner left his bed before standing in front of the glass wall of his cell. Striking the wall with his fists, the Riddler roared.
" JOKER ! "
Hearing the man shout his name, Joker let a smile appear on his face, as he was amused by it. Having been unable to sleep, after the curfew was announced, the supervillain decided to keep busy and share his formidable singing talents with his comrades. As a result, for thirty minutes, the other Arkham prisoners could hear him singing like a music lover, despite the fact that his voice resembles the cries of a cat, which had just had its tail crushed.
" MY CASANOOOOOOVVVAAAAAAA ! "
" SHUT-UP ! " Shouted Riddler.
Having his coin in hand, Two-Face had many veins on his face, as he saw his coin fall into the palm of his hand several times while showing his scratched face.
"Joker! If that glass pane wasn't there, I would have smashed your skull a long time ago."
"What do I hear?" Joker asked, continuing to smile. "Harvey, my poor friend! Have you forgotten who I am? It is you that this glass window protects."
Then starting to laugh, Joker heard the other prisoners complaining, while only one person applauded him.
"Puddin', you're the best." Harley stated.
"Harley, if you continue to applaud him, I prefer to warn that the Joker will not be my only victim." Growled Poison Ivy, who appeared as angry as the Riddler, because of Joker's horrible singing.
"Whoever you want to kill, make sure you start with this clown." The Riddler growled.
"Yes, we must eliminate this bastard." Scarface affirmed. "I prefer to warn you that I have urges to murder when I don't have my hours of sleep."
Being in the puppet's company, Arnold seemed much more hesitant about antagonizing Joker.
"Boss! We better not intervene or..."
Waving his arm, trying to hit him in the cheek, Scarface ordered him.
"SHUT UP! Who do you think you are to give me orders? Do you want me to remind you of your hierarchical position gy drilling into your skull?"
"Sorry." The Ventriloquist immediately apologized.
Hearing the duo, Joker continued to laugh, as he stated.
"Look at you! It's so hilarious to see such a pitiful sight! When I'm in my cell, some of you dare to challenge me! However, as soon as it comes to talking to me face to face without the slightest protection between us, no one dares to look me in the eyes anymore, right, Eddy?
"What do you dare to claim?" Riddler roared. "Do you think I'm afraid of you? I'm not like Crane."
"Hey! What do I need to understand?" Jonathan Crane asked.
"Riddle me this! Who is the person who dares to claim to be the master of fear but who trembles as soon as Joker takes a step in his direction?"
"I'm not afraid of this clown." Scarecrow roared. "Besides, I'm not someone who stupidly spends all his time fighting, unlike guys like Killer Croc and Two-Face, who have the strength to smash his skull... but are afraid to do that. "
"What did you say?" The reptile man roared, positioning himself against his glass wall.
"Do you really want us to have a conversation tomorrow morning?" Two-Face asked. " Scarecrow, you think you're strong and all-powerful! But without your famous gas, you're nothing more than a normal man, without the slightest power! Right now, even a little girl could win in arm wrestling against you. "
Hearing this, Harley raised her hand, before stating.
"It's true that I defeated Crane in arm wrestling last week! It's even because of that that he went to the infirmary! I almost broke his arm beating him."
Hearing this, Joker rolled over on his bed, laughing while holding his sides.
"HAHAHAHAHA! And people dare to compare me to this kind of loser? It's hilarious."
Suddenly stopping laughing, he retorted.
"No! It's not funny! Seriously, how can anyone compare me to guys like you, who do nothing but make fools of yourself over and over again?"
"Oh?" Riddler said, showing an amused smile. "Because you think you're better than us? Riddle tells me! Who's the clown who just gets humiliated over and over again against Batman?"
"Joker!" Mad Hatter assured, giggling in his cell.
Feeling his eyebrows furrow, the clown glared at Riddler, who dared to hold his gaze with a smile. Certainly, he would have preferred to have his famous cane, to feel safe. However, he refused to show any sign of fear to the Joker.
"You forget that people never considered you to be Batman's main enemy." Joker said. "I am the one destined to fight him! No, Batman is destined to hunt me down, again and again, until I decide to finish him off."
"In that case, I advise you to act quickly." Said Riddler. "Because it's been a few days now that I've been developing the perfect plan to leave this place and kill Batman! And this time, no one will dare to post the photo of a green-haired buffoon, to show who was the real enemy of batman."
"For that, you will have to leave this asylum alive." Joker retorted. "And if you keep going, that's not likely to happen."
But as the duo stared at each other, each prisoner was surprised to see a magic circle appear in the hallway.
" Huh ? "
Stepping back, some prisoners then saw an old man dressed as a wizard appear in the magic circle.
"Am I in Arkham?"
Remaining silent, the prisoners tried to understand what had just happened.
"Huh...Reassure me, I'm the only one who just saw that guy teleport down the hall?" Crane asked.
"Good thing you said so, because I was thinking that the pills the doctors forced me to swallow had just messed up my brain." Killer Croc said.
"Is this a new guardian?" Harley asked.
Remaining silent, Widos looked around him, examining the faces of the prisoners in the corridor.
"So, here are Gotham's worst criminals! Each one as moronic as the last."
"Excuse me?" Joker asked.
"If you came to insult us, you better get out before I get out of here." Riddler said.
Ignoring them, Widos preferred to ask.
"Who wants to leave this place?"
"Huh?" Scarface wondered.
"Are you saying you came here to stage a grand escape?" Poison Ivy asked.
"Let me guess! You plan to help us leave this place while asking us to do you a favor." Said Two-Face.
"We can sum it up this way." Widos agreed. "But what I have to offer you is much better than you can imagine."
Suddenly raising his arms in the air, the sorcerer let his magic circle increase in size, while wanting to demonstrate his power.
"What I'm offering you is control of a new world! Come with me and do whatever you want there! All I ask is that you behave like the supervillains that you are. "
Looking at the prisoners, Widos asked.
"Who wants to follow me?"
Honestly, the prisoners didn't know what to think of the situation. Then, a laugh was heard.
"So, from what I understand, you're going to help us escape! Then, you're going to send us to another world and ask us to commit crimes there."
"That's exactly it." Widos assured.
Continuing to laugh, Joker stated.
"I thought I was the king of laughter, but you have an incredible sense of humor."
Finally, wiping away a tear, he declared.
"I hope for your sake you're not trying to lie to me."
Pointing with his thumb, he declared.
"Show me this new world you're telling us about! I'd be happy to go wild and make people laugh, all while surrounded by the corpses of their loved ones."
For his part, throwing his coin, Two-Face received it before staring at it.
"Chance decided that I should follow you."
"If I stay in this prison any longer, I'm afraid my sublime brain will be damaged." The Riddler said. "And I'm naturally curious."
"Wait! Me too! I want to get out of here." Killer Croc said.
"Let me leave this damn cell." Scarface ordered.
"I want to accompany Puddin' wherever he decides to go." Harley assured.
Finally, hearing all the prisoners decide to collaborate with him, Widos began to smile. And the next moment, a flash illuminates the entire corridor. And when the light faded, the cells of Gotham's worst criminals were empty.
Marineford
Pushing aside the cup of tea that was in front of him, Sengoku preferring to grab the teapot that was placed on the table. Opening his mouth, he emptied the entire pot into his mouth, despite the fact that the tea was piping hot.
Then, grabbing several biscuits, he stuffed them entirely into his mouth, and barely took the time to chew them before swallowing them. Seeing him doing so, Tsuru sighed.
"You'll make yourself sick eating like that."
"It's the only way I know to calm down." Sengoku retorted.
Finishing devouring his biscuits, he nevertheless felt his anger remaining within him.
"DAMN IT! Garp's grandson is really going to give me an ulcer! I can't believe Enies Lobby became a ruined city because of him! During the Buster Call, five of our ships were destroyed and three others were greatly damaged! On top of that, Vegapunk's last prototype was completely destroyed."
Pinching his nose, while feeling veins forming in his forehead, he affirmed.
"This is a real humiliation for the Navy! The Buster Call served no purpose and only destroyed a symbol of the world government."
"Unfortunately, we can't win every time." Tsuru stated. "The Buster Call is our most powerful military formation! But even this attack has its own weaknesses! And unfortunately, our enemies managed to exploit them in order to survive and leave Enies Lobby."
"We came close to disaster." Sengoku growled. "Fortunately, it appears that the World Government has named Spandam's subordinates as being behind this fiasco! Now there is a veritable manhunt within CP9!"
Leaving the table, the man walked towards the window of the room, while grunting.
"Monkey D. Luffy...you must feel invincible after such a feat! However, don't believe in miracles! Now that you have declared war on the World Government, there is no chance that they will leave you alone "We'll hunt you down until your head is cut off."
At this moment, raising his gaze to the sky, he was surprised to see five shooting stars appear.
" It's a joke ? "
Being almost accustomed to this phenomenon, Sengoku barely reacted when he saw the five stars heading towards the training yard before crashing there.
Knowing perfectly well what had just happened, the man pinched his nose again, before affirming.
"There are days where I would rather be a simple soldier again, rather than remain a chief admiral.
Water-7
Rushing towards Luffy, two men jumped towards him.
"It is time to begin our fight." The duo affirmed.
Seeing a man with pink hair and a blond man, Luffy quickly got up, before directing his fists towards them.
" DOUBLE PISTOL ! "
Dodging the double attack, the two strangers found themselves in front of Luffy. Then, the pink-haired man directed the edge of his hand towards Luffy, while his sidekick grabbed two swords.
Seeing this, Luffy jumped forward to get out of the house. Once outside, he turned around to notice that the pink-haired man had followed him.
" SORU ! "
Surprised, Luffy saw him disappear before appearing behind him. Hitting him in the back of the head, the stranger knocked Luffy to the ground. Taking advantage of this, the blond-haired man aimed his blades at Luffy.
"I'm holding you, Mugiwara."
Hatterene use MAGICAL LEAF.
Feeling the pokemon's attack hit him, the blond-haired man collapsed to the ground, before managing to get up.
"Is this a joke? Since when did Mugiwara have a pokemon in his crew?"
"Let's see what he's worth against our friend." His sidekick said, digging in his pockets.
And quickly, he took out a pokeball.
"Hey! Am I dreaming or what?" Sanji asked, seeing him do it.
In response, the pink-haired man threw his pokeball and let it open. Free, Larvitar jumped with joy, before facing Hatterene.
"Take care of this ghost."
"Larvi!" His partner agreed.
"Huh? Do you also have a pokemon?" Luffy was surprised.
Ignoring his question, his two adversaries ran towards him again, before attacking him.
"Tssss! These guys aren't being very fair." Gin remarked.
"Anyway, I think it's time for us to leave here." Raynare said. "Let's slaughter these soldiers and find another hiding place until Franky finishes his boat."
"I will help you." The cyborg assured.
Immediately, several pirates rushed to help Luffy. However, they were surprised when they saw a hooded man positioning himself in front of them.
"I advise you not to go any further."
Then, the earth moved around him, before releasing around ten people, identical to the first.
"GO!" The clones shouted as they rushed towards the pirates.
"What is that?" Gin wondered.
In response, Franky used his guns and shot the clones. Being pierced, the clones were injured while their bodies turned to mud. Being the only one who was able to dodge the attack, the first hooded man looked horrified.
" Mes ... Mes clones. "
Seeing him alone, Franky rushed towards him.
" STRONG HAMMER ! "
However, wanting to protect her companion, a young woman positioned herself in front of the hooded man. Unable to stop, Franky punched her in the face so hard that her head was detached from the rest of her body.
" WHAT ? " S'étonna Franky.
Flying backwards, the young woman's head ends up being grabbed in the hands of the hooded man.
"I've got you." He affirmed.
"My poor head." The young woman complained, despite the fact that she had been decapitated.
"She...Is she alive?" Franky was surprised.
Then, the next moment, he felt like his own attack hit him in the face. And to the surprise of his comrades, his body flew backwards, before hitting the wall of the house.
"Aniki!" Kiwi and Mozu were scared.
Seeing this, Garp affirmed.
"You should stay still! This fight only concerns my two students and my grandson! Just watch their fight."
Continuing to face his two foes, Luffy found himself forced to retreat several times, while the duo used their speed to prevent him from counterattacking.
"We're going to get it! We're truly going to win, Mugiwara." The blond rejoiced.
"Not even in a dream." Luffy growled.
" Hey, Luffy. "
Running towards his captain, while Menma and the others were behind him, Zoro took out his sabers.
"It's lucky that we were able to lose this strange woman! I'm coming to help you."
"Zoro." The pink-haired man recognized him.
"He's mine." The blond affirmed, rushing towards Zoro.
Swirling his blades, he used them to stop Zoro. Blocking them with his sabers, the pirate began to smile while examining his opponents' weapons.
"Your swords are rather rare! Interesting."
However, finding himself alone against Luffy, his companion was easily knocked to the ground.
"It's over." Luffy affirmed, sitting on him.
And the next moment, Zoro hit his opponent's weapons hard enough to send them flying into the air.
"Surrender." Zoro ordered him, pointing one of his sabers at his throat.
Noticing this, the hooded man couldn't help but be angry.
"They lost! They're just incapable."
Then he began to cry in fear. "
" We are all gonna die. "
"Coby...he lost so quickly to that guy." The young woman next to him was surprised.
For his part, Garp began to declare.
"It was obvious that my grandson wouldn't be beaten that easily! But I doubt he could win against his next opponent."
"Huh ?" Luffy was surprised.
And before he could react, a figure appeared in front of him. Recognizing her, Zoro shouted.
"Be careful! This woman is crazy."
Too late. Pointing her massive gun at Luffy's face, the red-haired woman fired without the slightest hesitation. Widening his eyes, Luffy saw the equivalent of a laser beam directing towards his face and attempting to kill him.
Bending backwards at the last minute, he dodged the attack which grazed the roof of the house, before flying high into the sky.
"LUFFY!" His companions were frightened.
Doing a backflip, Luffy put some distance between himself and his new opponent. Yet instead of looking horrified or angry, the pirate couldn't help but smile.
"I see you continue to fight with your weapons."
"And you, you continue to fight with your fists." Affirmed the newcomer, also smiling.
Then staring at each other, Luffy and Emma stated.
"Here we go for our 3504th fight."
