Seeing Luffy's leg stretch, Emma jumped to avoid it. But already Luffy aimed his fist towards her.
" PISTOL ! "
Positioning her firearm in front of her, Emma used it as a shield. Letting Luffy's fist hit it, she then aimed it at her opponent, before firing. Seeing a laser beam coming towards him, Luffy found himself forced to jump back to avoid it.
However, continuing to aim at him, Emma fired several times, while numerous explosions took place. Screaming in fear, pirates and soldiers took refuge inside the house, to find safety.
"Be careful! If we find ourselves in the combat zone, we will die."
"Quickly, let's take shelter."
"HEY! This isn't your house." Sanji roared.
Dodging another shot from Emma, Luffy jumped towards her, before moving his arms at full speed.
" GATLING ! "
Simply closing her eyes, Emma let her body move in various directions, while she managed to dodge all of Luffy's attacks. Touching only the void, Luffy then felt Emma hit the inside of his arms with her weapon. knocking Luffy's fist aside, Emma rushed towards the pirate, before firing again.
This time, his shot hit Luffy's face, which disappeared in an explosion.
" KYAAAAAAAA ! "
Now seeing smoke in front of her, Emma affirmed.
"As usual, you're always so predictable Luffy! Yet Ace always told you to fight with a strategy."
" WHIP ! "
Emerging from the cloud of smoke, Luffy's leg moved towards Emma. But like before, the young girl had no trouble avoiding it.
"Did you not understand what I just told you?"
In response, making the smoke around him disappear, Luffy retorted.
"I know exactly how to beat you."
And, remembering his fight against Enel, Luffy aimed at the ground.
" GATLING ! "
Ricocheting against the ground, his fists moved in all directions, including towards Emma. At first surprised, the young woman felt one of the fists brush against her, although she could not predict their trajectory.
"I can't use haki in this situation."
As a result, she was forced to grab her gun to use it as a shield. However, Luffy's fists were too numerous, one of them ended up hitting Emma's abdomen.
"ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!" She moaned.
"I got you." Luffy stated.
However, he noticed that his fist was stuck under Emma's arm, who had managed to immobilize it.
"I'm the one who got you." The vice-admiral retorted, before firing again.
But while more explosions took place, another fight raged.
Hatterene use MAGICAL LEAF.
Larvitar use SANDSTORM.
Hitting each other, the two attacks blocked each other before creating smoke and sand that flew everywhere.
Hatterene use PSYBEAM.
Larvitar use DIG.
Disappearing underground, Larvitar dodged Hatterene's attack.
"Hatte?" The pokemon was surprised, looking around.
Larvitar use POUND.
Emerging from the ground, Larvitar aimed at the ghost before striking her with his crest. Hit violently, Hatterene's body was ejected.
Larvitar use STONE EDGE.
Creating numerous rocks around himself, the small pokemon ejected them towards Hatterene. Nevertheless, opening her eyes, Hatterene illuminated them.
Hatterene use PSYCHIC.
As they flew at full speed, the rocks stopped right in front of Hatterene, who ejected them towards Larvitar.
Larvitar use DIG.
Again, Larvitar runs into the ground to avoid getting hit. And, being invisible again, he moved without difficulty underground, before finding himself under his adversary.
Larvitar use POUND.
Unfortunately, as soon as he emerged from the ground, the pokemon was surprised to see Hatterene's appendage heading towards him.
Hatterene use BRUTAL SWING.
Finding himself hit, Larvitar was crushed against the ground.
Hatterene use PSYBEAM.
Barely having time to stand up, Larvitar saw the attack coming towards him, before exploding upon hitting him.
" LARVIIIIIIII ! "
Stunned, his owner saw the body of his pokemon fall at his feet, while the blond screamed.
"AHHHHHHHH! Mugiwara's pokemon is more powerful than yours! How is that possible?"
Yet, grunting, Larvitar found the strength to get up, despite his injuries. Then, displaying an angry look towards Hatterene, the pokemon concentrated all his power in his most powerful attack.
Larvitar use SMACK DOWN.
Unfortunately, seeing him gather a huge amount of power, Hatterene immediately attacked him.
Hatterene use CONFUSION.
Hit by the pokemon's attack, Larvitar felt his head turn. Then, no longer knowing where to aim, he directed his body in a random direction, before attacking.
" Huh ? " Said Garp.
being seated cross-legged, while he had remained in the same place for a while, the old man saw Larvitar's attack coming towards him, before exploding when hitting him.
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
"VICE ADMIRAL!" The soldiers shouted.
Now lying on the ground, with several burns on his body, the man was spitting smoke out of his mouth.
However, being little interested in this, Larvitar was able to target Hatterene again.
Larvitar use SCREECH.
Hit by the sound waves, Hatterene groaned in pain, while she felt as if her eardrums were going to explode. Taking advantage of this, Larvitar disappeared underground again.
Larvitar use DIG.
Unfortunately, seeing him do so, Hatterene decided to finish this fight. Aiming at the hole where Larvitar had disappeared, she attacked him.
Hatterene use MAGICAL LEAF.
Disappearing inside the hole, her leaves moved throughout the gallery. Then, moments later, numerous cracks appeared on the surface of the earth, before the ground exploded into pieces. Being thrown from his hiding place, Larvitar cried out in pain, as his body found itself in the middle of Hatterene's attack.
"LARVITAR!" His owner was horrified.
However, not wanting to give up, his pokemon aimed at Hatterene and made one last attack.
Larvitar use SANDSTORM.
Seeing the attack coming towards her, Hatterene focused her own power before attacking.
Hatterene use FAIRY WIND.
Making another attack, Hatterene created a silver wind that struck the sandstorm, before blowing it out of its path. Wide-eyed, Larvitar saw the attack coming towards him, before hitting him.
" LARVI ! "
Finally, the pokemon collapsed to the ground, with spirals in place of his eyes.
" Lar ... vi ... "
Having seen this, many soldiers became afraid.
"This little monster is capable of defeating an army of soldiers without the slightest problem, and he was still defeated by this ghost."
"And Garp-sa was defeated too."
"Who was defeated?" The man roared as he got up.
At that moment, Luffy's arms stretched back, while Emma focused a large part of her energy into her weapon.
" BAZOOKA / ULTIMATE BANG ! "
Attacking at the same time, the duo created an explosion, which created a shockwave, which caused several soldiers to fall backwards.
"AHHHHHH! It's war."
being also screaming, Usopp, who had been warned of the presence of the Navy, was surprised to see Luffy fighting Emma.
" What is happening here ? "
Finally, everyone could see Luffy's palms pressed against Emma's weapon, while the two adversaries tried to push each other away. Seeming evenly matched, the duo stared at each other.
However, not having the slightest hostility in his eyes, Luffy abandoned his combat pose. Then, his arms stretched out before wrapping around Emma.
" EMMAAAAAAAA ! "
"Glad to see you again." The redhead assured him, smiling at him.
"Huh?" The pirates were surprised, seeing their captain's strange behavior.
"Luffy... do you know this person?" Nami wondered.
" Of course. " Said Luffy. " Said Emma. "
At this moment, the vice-admiral walked towards Luffy's companions, before bowing to them.
"I'm grateful for taking care of my little brother."
"Bro...BROTHER?" The pirates were surprised.
"What does that mean?" Gin asked. "I thought Luffy was Ace's brother."
"Ace is also my little brother." Emma assured. "I'm the oldest."
"That can't be true." Bruno retorted. "If Luffy is your brother, why did you attack him?"
"We've always done that." Emma retorted.
"Since we were little, we have constantly fought with Ace." Luffy assured. "It's our way of knowing if we've made progress."
"Your family is crazy." Raynare stated.
Raising her fingers, Lucy declared.
"Luffy is a pirate, just like Ace... But his grandfather and his sister are Navy soldiers! The discussions during family reunions must be very strange."
"Among my family members, Emma is my only pride." Garp growled. "She's the only one who had enough intelligence to make the right choice! Damn it! Why did my two grandsons become criminals? But the worst thing is knowing that Luffy preferred to look like a damn Yonko rather than his beloved grandfather.
"Yonko?" Luffy was surprised. "Are you talking about Shanks?"
"What? Don't you know?" his grandfather asked. "In this world, there are many pirates who sow chaos wherever they go! However, apart from the shichibukais, some of them are much more powerful! There are four of them, they make up the Yonko group! Such pirates powerful that even the Navy is afraid to face them! And the famous Whitebeard is among them.
"Yonkos?" Velvet was surprised.
"Big Mom!" Vivi said, holding up her fingers. "Kaido...Whitebeard...they are super-powered pirates whose mere mention of their names is enough to scare anyone! They reign supreme over the second part of Ghent Line."
"And among them is Akagami Shanks." Robin finished. "I didn't know Luffy knew him."
"He's the man who gave Luffy his straw hat." Nami told him.
Suddenly starting to laugh, Luffy affirmed.
"I'm glad to know Shanks is okay! That reassures me."
Hearing this, one of the soldiers started laughing.
"You'll definitely never change, Luffy-san."
surprised, Luffy turned towards the pink-haired soldier, as he had just brought Larvitar into his pokeball.
"I'm happy to have had the chance to see you again." He assured, turning to Luffy.
"Huh?" Luffy was surprised, tilting his head to the side. " Do we know eachother ? "
Continuing to smile, the soldier declared.
"I was sure you wouldn't recognize me! After all, it's been a long time since our last meeting."
"Really?" Luffy asked.
Wanting to help him, the soldier turned to the other pirates.
"Zoro-san! Lucy-san! Raynare-san! Do any of you recognize me? Was I with you on your first adventures?"
"Huh? With us?" Zoro was surprised.
"I don't remember that." Lucy admitted.
"The only other person who was with it was..." Raynare began.
Stopping, the fallen angel noticed the pair of glasses that were on the boy's forehead, while he had hair the same color as a certain fearful boy.
" Do not tell me ... "
Giving a military salute, the soldier affirmed.
"I'm Coby! Glad to see you haven't forgotten me."
"COBY?" Luffy was surprised.
"The cowardly one?" Zoro was surprised.
"The one who was scared whenever we talked about the Grand Line?" Lucy wondered.
"Hahaha! It's true that I was scared for nothing." The soldier admitted. "And I'm most surprised to find myself sailing in the middle of the Grand Line."
"There's no way you're Coby." Luffy retorted. "You're… You're so different from him."
"I've grown up." The boy affirmed. "And my extensive training in the Navy allowed me to stop looking like a fearful kid! Now, it is with a straight back that I face the dangers of this world."
Hearing this, Zoro's hand hit the soldier's back and he almost fell forward. Starting to smile, Zoro stated.
"It's true that you seem more muscular than before."

"HAHAHAHA! I'm so happy to see you." Luffy said. "Emma! Coby! Come inside! I can't wait to tell you about my adventures! How long have you been on the Grand Line?"

Less shy than him, Emma walked alongside Luffy, while asserting. *
"Luffy...I need to tell you about an incredible island! Know that I went to an island almost entirely made of food."
"Seriously? Where is this island?"
Seeing the brother and sister talking among themselves, Zoro patted Coby on the back again to encourage him to follow them.
"Come have a drink with us."
But as Coby eventually followed the trio, Lucy looked thoughtful.
"If Coby is here, then…"
At that moment, his gaze turned to the blonde-haired soldier who seemed to be trying hard not to be seen by Lucy. However, being certain she had seen him somewhere, Lucy shouted his name.
"Helmeppo! Is that you?"
Jumping, the blond seemed to lose all the confidence he had shown while fighting against Zoro. Then, slowly, he walked towards Lucy, looking embarrassed.
"Lu... Lucy-san... hello..." He murmured, scratching the back of his head, looking away.
Acting in this way, the man looked like a child who had just seen one of his school teachers again and who was afraid of being criticized.
"Helmeppo?" Raynare repeated. "The one who wanted to execute Zoro? What are you doing here?"
"Huh... let's just say I made several blunders, and because of that, Coby and I were eventually placed under the tutelage of Vice Admiral Garp! And it was pretty quickly that we found ourselves sailing on Grand Line."
"Glad to see you kept your promise." Lucy said. "Today, you now seem like a better soldier than your father was."
"Really?" Helmeppo rejoiced.
Having been complimented by the woman who had made him understand the meaning of justice, helmeppo regained his arrogance and passed his finger under his nose.
"It wasn't without challenges! Now I'm thinking all the time about going through difficult training, risking my life fighting criminals, and running away to avoid getting killed by the vice-admiral. "
For his part, uninterested in this, Garp pointed to the wall he had damaged, before ordering.
"Soldiers… repair this for me."
"What?" the soldiers were surprised. "Then why did you destroy it?"

"You destroyed our house for this?" Gin roared.
Eventually, having had an argument with his soldiers, Garp found himself forced to repair the wall with them and was now nailing a board to the damaged wall.
"I can't believe I'm seeing the famous Vice Admiral of the Navy repairing the home of a group of pirates." Johnny confessed.
"Luffy-aniki... is it true that your grandfather fought the fiercest pirates in this world?" Yosaku questioned him.
"I don't know! I was never interested in his work."
"I heard he fought Roger many times." Sanji stated. "And that he had refused numerous times to become Admiral of the Navy! Honestly, I can't believe you're part of the same family."
Snickering, upon hearing this, Emma assured.
"Our family is very strange." Emma affirmed. "The truth is, when I was little, I wanted to become a pirate too! In fact, I wanted to be part of the same crew as Ace and Luffy."
"WHAT?" Yosaku and Johnny shouted. "One of the five Navy hopefuls wanted to become a pirate? You guys are such a crazy family."
"Still, if I may…" Bruno said, staring at the three members of the Monkey family. "I see the similarities between Garp and Luffy! However, they seem to me to be incredibly different from Emma.

"Baka!" Garp growled. "Of course you have a father! But I have the impression that this idiot didn't introduce himself when he saw you! Yet he met you in Loguetown."
" Loguetown ? " Said Luffy.
"Yes! And if you want to know his identity, know that his name is Monkey D. Dragon."
" DRAGON ? "
Apart from Emma, Luffy and people not native to this world, the pirates and soldiers had shouted this name which seemed to trigger a certain fear in them.
"Huh?" Luffy was surprised, looking at his companions. "What's the matter with you?
"BAKA!" Sanji roared. "Don't you know Dragon?"
"Luffy...your father is a man known throughout the world." Nami assured him.
"The man who defied the entire world." Azelma affirmed. "Among the slaves, he is a man who is considered a god."
"Dragon?" Jin repeated, scratching his head. "That name vaguely rings a bell."
"Stupid guy." Helmeppo growled. "In the time you've been with us, you should know who this guy is."
"Luffy...Luffy-san is this guy's son?" Coby wondered.
Not understanding the situation, Luffy turned to his crew's encyclopedia.
" Robin ? "
"I will try to explain to you who your father is." Robin affirmed. "Compared to what happened at Enies Lobby, no pirate would willingly start a war against the world government! However, a group of individuals are trying to bring together as many people as possible, around the world, in order to have the power necessary to overthrow the world government! This is the revolutionary army.
"Huh?" Luffy was surprised. "The group that was fighting in Alabasta against Vivi's father?"
"That has nothing to do with it." Retorted the former princess. "The revolutionaries of Alabasta wanted to overthrow the monarchy of my country! The revolutionary army Robin speaks of wants to completely wipe out the world government and the power of this group is immeasurable."
"The leader of this group is named Monkey D. Dragon." Robin continued. "Luffy...your father is known for causing the fall of many kingdoms who swore an oath to the world government! And because of that, he became the most dangerous and wanted criminal in this world."
Having heard all of this, while spying outside the building, Usopp gulped.
"The famous Dragon is the son of the most powerful vice admiral in the Navy! I can't believe what I'm hearing."
Being much more relaxed than the people around him, Garp continued his repairs. Then, noticing that perhaps he shouldn't have talked so much about his family, in the presence of so many people, he groaned.
"Damn it! Sometimes I'm way too talkative."
Then, looking at the pirates as well as his soldiers, he declared.
"Pretend I didn't say anything."
" WHAT ? "
Finally, when the repairs were finished, Garp affirmed.
"If I came to this island, it's simply to allow my subordinates to see you, Luffy! And in truth, it also makes me happy to see my grandson! Don't be afraid, I have no intending to capture you.
"Really? Great! In that case, goodbye." Luffy told him, waving at him.
Immediately, Garp's fist hit him again.
"You're just an ungrateful grandson! I feel like you're in a hurry for me to leave."
"OUCH! That's why I don't like you coming to see me." Luffy roared, rubbing his face. "You're just hitting me."
"This is my way of showing you the love I have for my family."
"It's not by hitting me that you'll force me to think you're nicer."
"As crazy as each other." Nami assured.
"That's right." The other pirates agreed, nodding their heads.
For her part, Emma snickered again, while nothing seemed to be able to remove the smile from her face. Even if Garp was violent towards Luffy, she knew perfectly well that he adored her. After all, Emma had lived among people who considered family ties to be something sacred.
For Emma, nothing and no one could ever destroy her precious family. Neither pirates nor the Navy.
Starting to sneeze, Ace ran his finger under his nose.
"Huh...I think I caught a cold."
"How can a guy who can control fire be cold?" Cavendish growled.
Still sailing on their two small boats, with Isuka and Snake, the duo began to find the time long. However, they knew that their patience would eventually be rewarded, as their destination was not far away.
" Teach ... " Said Ace. "
Banaro Island
" QUEEN ! QUEEN ! "
Running into a mansion, a man dressed like a peasant stopped at the entrance to an enormous dark room. Hurrying to his knees, he implored.
"Queen! You have to help us."
Immediately the peasant trembled in fear, hearing a female voice growling.
"How dare you wake me up when I was sleeping so peacefully! Do you want me to kill you?"
Continuing to tremble in fear, the peasant saw numerous candles light up, allowing him to see the entirety of the enormous room. Immediately, anyone could have seen the many riches found in this place. Gold coins, jewelry, luxurious items... all the riches of the island seemed to have been gathered here, as did a large quantity of food.
And lying in the center of the room, a huge throne had been built at the top of a staircase, while the person lying on it towered over anyone kneeling at the bottom of the stairs.
"Queen! Please forgive me! But, this is an emergency! A group of pirates has just arrived on the island and is starting to pillage our village."
"Huh?" The queen of the island was surprised. "Pirates dare to set foot on my island and disturb my slaves? Who do they think they are?"
However, starting to smile, the woman left her throne, before affirming.
"Perfect! I just wanted to reassure myself a little! The tortures will amuse me a lot."
And it was in this way that Ladydevimon walked away from her throne, before going to where the group of pirates began their plundering.
