Neb: With the Curse of the City of Caesars broken, Dewey, Webby, Della, and Scrooge can now go home with the resources Della needs for her next mission. But what they will find will surprise them. Della, Scrooge, and honestly a good chunk of the Duck family are still unaware of the war that is ensuing. Hopefully when they learn of Huey being kidnapped, they will be able to put a stop to Albert and his plans. I do not own Ducktales.

"Are you kidding me?", Louie yelled in panic as he grabbed the sides of his head. "Albert kidnapped Huey? Why?"

"Apparently he was going to kidnap you first," Lena explained. "But he couldn't get past Boyd and Gosalyn." It was late at night when Lena had finally come to, and when she did she checked to see if her feathers were still green. They weren't, she had gone back to normal, yet she was still haunted by the conclusion of her fight with Albert. Why did she turn into Magica? Was she still connected to that aweful sorceress? Once she had recovered Lena called Louie imediately and told him about the kidnapping, and now Boyd, Violet, Gosalyn, Louie and she were all hiding out in Lena's old home. The place she lived at before she moved in with Violet. "At least, that's what he told me."

"Yeah but he brought Magica with him to fight you," Gosalyn pointed out. "He didn't bring backup for us."

"He did when Huey and I were with Penumbra," Violet pointed out. "Though he was testing his forces at the time. Why didn't he take Huey then and there, it's not like I could have stopped him."

"Look, I don't know," Lena groaned with her face in her palms. "I messed up, I thought I was over being Magica's shadow, but he brought those old insecurities back out of me." She left out the part where those insecurities turned her into the spitting image of her aunt.

"He is good at manipulating emotions," Violet admitted. "Which is odd, given that he is driven by envy and rage."

"Then we manipulate him back," Louie decided. "If he wants to play with our emotions, then we should do the same to get Huey back."

"The last thing we need to do is underestimate him," Violet shook her head. "The last time we've done that was when Webby and Dewey went to go fight him, he's not an ordinary kid."

"Yeah I know he has magic, but we've faced foes with magic before," Louie pointed out.

"We've faced smart foes before also," Gosalyn added. "Scientists and business men."

"Also people with grudges against the family," Lena nodded. "Especially people who've sworn vengeance against the Duck family and the McDuck family."

"Right, but I've mentioned before that they weren't our age," Violet sighed. "Until now it was our team that was always underestimated, because we faced older foes with resources and armies at their disposals. We will inevitable assume he can't win because of his age and lack of resources, but that's the opportunity he will cease."

"No resources," Lena repeated. "Then how did he get my aunt on his side?"

"Or Steelbeak?", Louie added.

"They share his anger and envy," Violet concluded. "Either way, he's confident that the small team he has is stronger then the Duck family. Actually, the only member of our family that he seems to fear, even a little is Webby."

"No that makes sense," Both Louie and Lena responded at the same time.

"He did say when I confronted him that his allies would be more powerful than ours when things line up properly," Louie remembered.

"Affirmative," Boyd agreed. "He was not frightened by us, even when Gosalyn had a crossbow trained on him."

"He's done his research on all of us," Gosalyn sighed. "So whatever it is that he wants is going to even the playing field with even your strongest family members." She turned to Louie when she said this.

"He wants the Medusa's Gauntlet and the Star Charts," Lena pointed out. Attention turned back to her. "Once he has those, that's when things will line up properly. I assume so anyways. I think we've gathered that he's more than just an artifact collector."

"Uncle Scrooge has both those things," Louie shook his head. "That means we have no choice but to tell him the situation if want to bargain for Huey back."

"We don't know when Scrooge will be back either," Violet sighed. "Our best bet is to find something just as valuable as Hubert, if we want to resolve this before the rest of your family is involved."

"Before the rest of our..." Louie begun. "Are you not paying attention? Penny is going to tell my mother the moment she gets back from her trip. Gearloose is going to tell Scrooge the moment he gets back also. We are not getting out of this without them finding out. Our family is definitely getting involved!"

"The objective is not to withhold information," Violet assured. "It's simply to get Huey back before Albert gets what he really wants."

"And that is?", Gosalyn raised an eyebrow.

"War."
