"Huh? A lab?"
Looking around, Katarina found herself in the middle of a huge room containing scientific equipment. She felt like she was in a futuristic place, centuries ahead of the technology of her world.
"What is this? Where are we?"
Finding himself with her, Widos looked at the machines with some disgust.
"Usually, I prefer to trust my magic rather than the technology created by mortals! But resurrection is not my field of predilection! That was Sana's power! That's why I gathered all these machines, from different universes, to help me resurrect people."
"Can you really do it?"
"Not yet! In truth, I plan to use your sister's corpse as a guinea pig."
Approaching a healing vat, the old magician looked at the green liquid inside it, surrounding Rika's corpse. The liquid seemed to prevent her corpse from rotting. However, it was only the top of her corpse, while Katarina had been unable to get hold of the rest of her sister's corpse.
"And do you think it could also regenerate all the missing parts of her body?"
"No idea! I told you, this will just be an experiment! However, if you want your sister to be resurrected, trust me that I am the only person who can help her."
"And why do you want to help us? Out of compassion?"
"Not at all! I'm not a saint! If I want to help you, it's simply to be able to resurrect people who interest me! Except that I prefer to destroy the corpse of your sister, by trying to resurrect her, rather than the corpse of a person more interesting to me."
Hearing this, Katarina wanted to growl. However, she knew she had no other choice. It was risky, but Widos was her only chance. Thus, she nodded before begging.
"Please! Save her!"
In response, Widos placed a hand on the giant vat and created a magic circle. Approaching Rika's corpse, the circle disappeared inside her body, before creating a symbol on her forehead.
Then, walking towards a lever, Widos lowered it. Immediately, electricity spread throughout the entire tank and struck Katarina's corpse. Lighting up, the symbol on Rika's forehead began to glow intensely.
Watching this, Widos stared at the vat, as more electricity appeared. Unfortunately, unable to maintain such power, the machine began to create smoke, before exploding, along with the vat.
Surprised, Katarina stepped back as she felt shards of glass flying around her, while green liquid flooded the room. At first blinded by the smoke, she was unable to see anything.
" What is happening ? "
"I underestimated the power of the electroshock," Widos admitted. "Luckily, I had this experience."
Ignoring her, Katarina waited for the smoke to clear before looking around. Finally, lying on the ground, she saw her sister's corpse, which seemed to have been spared from the explosion.
"RIKA!" Katarina shouted, rushing towards her.
Crouching down, Katarina wanted to gently take hold of her sister's body. However, she stopped, hearing a moan.
" Huh ? "
Seeming to moan in pain, Rika began to weakly move one of her fingers. At first thinking she was dreaming, Katarina eventually screamed.
"SHE'S ALIVE! RIKA IS ALIVE!"
"Really?" Widos asked, honestly surprised. "I never thought I'd get it right the first time."
Suddenly, opening her eyes, Rika showed completely white pupils, while she let out roars similar to that of a zombie.
" Huh ? "
Making disorganized gestures, Rika seemed unable to show any ounce of intelligence.
"What's wrong with her?" Katarina asked.
"Her heart started beating again thanks to my magic," Widos said. "But her brain is completely destroyed! She's nothing but undead."
Then, noticing that half of Rika's corpse was still missing, he remarked.
"And the regeneration fluid had no effect! This experiment is a failure."
"What? And what are you waiting for to do something?"
Seeming little interest, Widos retorted.
"The machines are unusable! And I need to do research to be able to perform a perfect resurrection! Your sister is of no use to me anymore! You can leave with her."
Stunned, Rika clenched her fist, before rushing towards him.
" YOU LITTLE ... "
A magic circle suddenly appeared under her feet, and she disappeared with Katarina.
"I hate ungrateful people," Widos said.
Then, exiting the room, he saw Shishio sitting in a hallway, with Yumi at his side. Both having halos visible above their heads, the duo seemed to be waiting for the results of Widos' experiment.
" So ? "
"Unfortunately, we would have to wait a little longer to resurrect you."
"Is it really necessary to resurrect us?" Yumi asked, looking at her hands. "Right now, I feel like I'm alive."
"You're still dead." Widos stated. "So even with training, you're unable to become stronger! So you're of no use to me."
" And after ? "
Showing a small smile, Makoto affirmed.
"When you resurrect us, you will be the one who becomes useless to us! So why should we obey your orders once we are alive?"
"I'm not an idiot." Widos retorted. "I won't trust someone like you! Compared to my subordinates, I know you could try to kill me at any moment! In truth, I plan to send you somewhere else and hope you fend for yourself until I resurrect you."

Seeing the fallen angel wanting to grab some money, Nami was the one who gave her that order.
"What? You just said we can take this money."
"You already have money on you." Nami retorted. "Besides, I know you ask Virgo for money every time you want to make a purchase."
"Tsss!" Raynare growled, looking away.
"Stop being so sulky," Lucy told him. "It's true that you know how to take advantage of Virgo to get money."
"Why are you defending that tightwad?" Raynare asked.
"You're both equally stingy." Zoro retorted.
Immediately, his head was stuck in the floorboards, while the fallen angel's fist was smoking.
"I didn't ask you anything."
Letting out a sigh, Lucy grabbed her arm and began to pull her out of the dwelling.
" Calm down, Raynare! If you want, we can go for a walk together."
"Walk together?" The fallen angel repeated, turning to her.
Knowing that this sounded like a date request, Lucy couldn't help but blush slightly, and the two women looked away to keep from staring at each other. The memory of their kiss in Skypiea was still fresh in their minds.
Seeing them do this, Nami and Vivi tilted their heads to the side. Then, suddenly, seeming to understand the situation, the duo put a hand in front of their mouth before starting to chuckle mischievously.
However, less reactive than them, Velvet prepared to leave as well.
"Raynare, I'm going to try to find a bar! Do you want to drink alcohol with me?"
For the demon, she felt Nami and Vivi's arms grab her.
"Velvet, you're coming with us."
" What ? "
"You don't have many clothes." Nami stated.
"That's true." Vivi agreed. "I think we should take advantage of the situation to do some shopping."
" What ? "
Starting to smile at her, the two women assured her.
"We're going to have an afternoon of shopping."
And before Velvet could react, she found herself being dragged away by Nami and Vivi.
"I saw a clothing store not far from here! Let's go there."
"I already have an idea of what to buy her! I think a more feminine outfit would be perfect for her."
Finally, chuckling as he saw the women leave, Robin turned to Raynare and Lucy.
"I think you'll be able to walk around peacefully! Bye!"
Then, she decided to follow Nami and the others.
A few minutes later, Raynare and Lucy were walking around town, side by side. Not really knowing what to say, they remained silent. Finding it a bit disturbing, Lucy suggested they make small talk.
"Eevee isn't with you? She usually follows you no matter where you go."
"I doubt Eevee is still Eevee," Raynare retorted. "Since she transformed, she's changed! I wanted to take her with me, but she preferred to take a nap."
And while Raynare seemed concerned about this, silence returned again. Still anxious about this, Lucy tried to find another topic of discussion. Finally, seeing something, she declared.
"Wait for me here! I'll be right back."
" Huh ? "
And before Raynare could react, Lucy walked away and headed towards an ice cream shop.
"Two vanilla ice creams, please."
Looking at her, an old woman put her glasses back in front of her eyes correctly, in order to see her client better.
"Sorry? Oh... you're one of the people who saved our precious mayor's life! I'm honored to have you as a customer! I'll prepare your order right away."
After waiting a few seconds, Lucy finally got her ice cream.
"Here...and hold."
Carefully picking up two strange transparent spheres, filled with a blue liquid, she put them in a paper bag, before giving them to Lucy.
"Here they are for you! I offer them to you."
" What is this ? "
"Two specialties from my shop! They're Aquablues! They're filled with delicious juice! However, you have to be careful when drinking them."
Handing Lucy two straws, she affirmed.
"Carefully pierce them with a straw to drink the contents! If you bite them, they will explode and you will be covered in their juice! And it is very sticky because of the sugar."
"Thank you! I promise to taste this."
Then, walking back to Raynare, she handed her one of the ice creams.
"Here is for you;"
" Huh ... thanks. "
But as Lucy began to lick her ice cream, the blonde was surprised to see the fallen angel nibbling on the tip of her ice cream cone.
"Is there something wrong?"
"I... I don't like ice cream very much." Raynare admitted, looking ashamed. "I have sensitive teeth and it's always caused a bad feeling in my mouth when I eat one."
Hearing this, Lucy couldn't hide her surprise. Then, she started to giggle.
"I can't believe the arrogant fallen angel I know is afraid to eat ice cream."
"Tssss!" Raynare said, continuing to nibble on the end of her cone.
However, eating in this manner, she let her ice cream ball begin to melt. Beginning to move, her ice cream ball eventually separated from the cone and fell towards the ground.
However, reacting in time, Lucy let go of the paper bag she was holding and directed her hand towards the ice ball. Catching it like a ball, she managed to stop it from falling. However, the next second, she regretted her gesture, as she felt the cold material begin to melt between her fingers.
" COLD ! " She shouted.
Sighing, Raynare affirmed.
"You're just an idiot! Give me your ice cream so I can help you."
Lucy immediately handed her her ice cream.
" And after ? "
In response, Raynare turned Lucy's ice cream over and dropped the ball into the blonde's other hand. As a result, Lucy remained motionless, as each of her hands now held a frozen ball of ice cream.
" That ... ? "
Showing a mischievous smile, Raynare seemed to enjoy the situation, as she began to eat the cones she was holding in her hand.
" Thanks ! "
" RAYNARE ! " Shouted Lucy.
Continuing to smile, Raynare noticed the paper floor that was on the ground.
"Huh?" she wondered, picking up the small bag.
Seeing the spheres of juice that were inside, Raynare pretended to be disappointed.
"You bought candy just for yourself! Lucy, you are very selfish."
Then, taking one of the spheres, she opened her mouth and prepared to bite into it.
"No, don't do that." Lucy wanted to stop her.
Too late. Biting into the sphere, Raynare made it explode and all the juice inside splashed on her face. Immediately, Raynare's entire face turned blue.
" That ? "
Seeing the juice running down her face, Lucy stood still. Then, suddenly, her cheeks swelled. And finally, forgetting her frozen hands, Lucy began to laugh.
"HAHAHAHA! You should look at your face! HAHAHAHAHA! My stomach! My stomach hurts."
Immediately, a vein of anger appeared on Raynare's face. Then, approaching Lucy, she wrapped her arms around her.
"Huh?" the blonde wondered.
The next second, Raynare rubbed her cheek against her.
"I'll wipe myself against you."
"Hey! Don't do that."
Ignoring her, Raynare made Lucy's face turn as blue as hers. Deciding to defend herself, the blonde directed her hands covered in melted ice towards the fallen angel's face.
" Revenge ! " She shouted.
Beginning to fight, the two women quickly found themselves covered in blue juice, while ice was now visible in their hair. However, instead of being angry, the duo stared at each other, before starting to laugh. Having forgotten their embarrassment at being alone, the two women had found their smiles again.
However, having almost forgotten that they were in the middle of the city, the two women noticed that a few people had stopped to observe them and understand what was happening.
Blushing in embarrassment, the two girls walked away from each other. Then, Lucy spotted a fountain and pointed at it.
"We better clean our faces over there."
"Good idea! Go first! I'll join you."
Suddenly moving away from Lucy, the fallen angel headed towards a small alley. Then, once alone, she crouched down before letting her face turn completely red.
"Why did I behave like that?"
Trying to collect her thoughts, she couldn't help but think about Lucy constantly.
"I really fell in love with her."
Still, it was something she forced herself to deny herself. How could she fall in love with Lucy, when she was about to die?
Unable to answer her own question, Raynare was surprised when her heard footsteps.
"Huh?" She said, lifting her face.
As surprised as she was, Zoro found himself in front of her. Ashamed, Raynare wanted to hide her blue face, so that Zoro could not make fun of her.
However, Zoro seemed quite ashamed of her. And it was at that moment that Raynare caught sight of the embarrassing t-shirt he was wearing, as well as the two babies that were hanging around his waist.
