Chapter Eleven: Hello Mr. Lawrence

I"Are you sure you're, okay?"

"I promise Feds, I'm okay. I'll see you at lunch."

"You got it, LaRusso."

Freddy didn't like being other people's business. It wasn't something he did on the regular bases especially since he didn't want anyone in his. He knew it wasn't hidden news about him and Dutch but no one dared to speak about not wanting to face the wrath of the whole cobra kai.

However Daniel was different.

Daniel was his first real friend in a long time. The first person to learn about Dutch and didn't get scared off so seeing him give up so quickly didn't sit right with Freddy. Daniel deserved to be happy he was damned if he was going to sit by and watch Ali Mills ruin it.

"We need to talk."

There were many times Bobby Brown expected from life but a pissed off Freddy Fernandez was never one of them. Freddy glanced around noting Dutch at the end of the hallway and without thinking he yanked Bobby towards the closest empty classroom shoving the other boy inside. Closing the door behind him, Freddy marched directly into Bobby's face.

"Whoa Freddy I'm flattered but-"

"We need to get Daniel and Johnny talking but without Ali finding out so she'll ruin it."

"Freddy-"

"I might not know Johnny as well as the rest of you but I know Dutch. We might not talk but that doesn't mean I don't hear his thoughts and by the way he's going this won't end well."

"Dutch is a big boy, he can handle himself." Bobby muttered as he tried to step around Freddy only to be yanked back and met with a glare. "Freddy-"

"What about Tommy? He's quieter, doesn't even leave his house except for school and cobra kai? Or Johnny, he's turning into a shell of what he once was. I need your help, please. They're your brothers"

"They are my brothers and I care about all of them but I can't make everything right beside maybe cobra kai needed this break. I'm sorry."

"Don't you see Ali did this. If we don't figure this out and stop her, none of us will be happy."

"Freddy, you're putting way too much power into little Ali Mills."

"Ali threatened my mom's job and Daniel spoke up to stop her. I don't know what she said but it had to be pretty fucked for Daniel go to this far to avoid Johnny. If she's willing to go that far about Johnny's soulmate she won't for the rest."

"Freddy-"

"Just think about it besides, I know you and Jimmy are soulmates. Handle Ali now and you won't have to hide it." With those words Freddy exited out of the classroom not noticing Dutch staring at the end of the hallway.

"Break!"

"Thank you Sensei!"

Johnny was the last one to come up from the bow ignoring the calls from his fellow cobra kai members and the look his sensei sent him as he headed outside. Taking a deep breath Johnny walked towards his car leaning against the side of it. Johnny felt like he was just passing through the movements, nothing felt important anymore.

"Hello?"

Johnny didn't know his eyes were closed as he opened them to find a pretty woman standing in front of him. "Yes ma'am?" Johnny's eyes flicked to the old car that the lady came out of, the car seemed to be hanging on to its last leg just barely making it. Glancing back at the lady Johnny studied her for a moment because for some reason she had a warning sign going off in his mind. She wasn't tall, maybe standing directly to his nose, dark brown curly hair that framed her face giving her a sweet inviting motherly look, small nose. Overall, she looked pretty but for whatever reason it clicked something in Johnny's head.

"Do you know where the karate studio is? For Cobra Kai?" Her voice was soft but there was an underlying firmness in it.

"Yes it's behind us actually. This is the parking lot for it."

"Thank you." with that the lady turned away and started heading into the Cobra Kai studio but something didn't sit right with Johnny. He watched as the lady walked away. "Ma'am?"

The lady paused, turning back and it clicked into Johnny's mind.

She had those same dark brown Bambi-like eyes.

Just like Daniel.

"Are you Daniel's mom?"

"Yes. Sorry but who are you?"

"I'm Daniel's soulmate Johnny. Johnny Lawrence."

"Ohhh, well that's great actually because I came here for you."

"You did?"

"Yes. What did you do to my baby Johnny Lawrence?"
