It is me again for a new chapter of this fanfic.

I know i've already posted the first chapter hours earlier, but as you saw,
it's basically the 2 beta chapters combined into one single chapter so i post it riiiiiiight... Here.

Like i said before, this chapter will be completely rewritten so expect to see many changes here and here.

I hope you'll enjoy this chapter. And don't tell Neptune i've took one of her pudding i was hungry.

Chapter 2: Childhood

The land of white Serenity currently expressed yet another glorious sunny day as the morning sun illuminated the nation, icy lakes glistening with glorious splendour. As if they were lakes of stars themselves like they had fallen from the heavens to grace the lands with their cosmic light.

Yet the most brilliant sight within this land of beautiful ice and pure white snow that gave the land its namesake, a certain city got illuminated by this sunlight like it were sunbathing on the beach. With how many of the buildings had ice caps and snowy roofs from the frequent snowfalls they had, the citizens became used to waking up to the sight of glittering roofs and pure white sparkling snow.

There's a reason why the land of white serenity had been nicknamed as such and it was not because of their CPU.

Speaking of their CPU, Blanc could be currently seen inside her office within her Basilicom, at her desk hard at work with stacks of paperwork on both sides. The bane of any leader's existence and one of the ONLY things she sympathesised with Noire on, though as she worked the brunette couldn't help but think of how the blackette CPU would look at her stash of papers and scoff, going 'that it?' and in a display of hold my beer she'd get it all done in one sitting.

That woman was a damn workaholic she swore…

Not like Blanc remained any different though.

At least it didn't reach the ceiling like a certain pipsqueak she knew of.

Putting down her quill, she leaned back on her leather chair which creaked from the movement, looking up at her ceiling and more specifically the large mushroom shaped light that hung there. It wasn't on due to it being morning, with the stain glass windows behind her illuminating her office for her. But even so, the more she looked at it the more she could see the image of a certain blue-eyed boy with sun-kissed blonde hair.

'That doofus… he's gotta be out playing with rom and ram right now…' the brunette CPU thought to herself, a mix of a playful growl and amused chuckle leaving her lips at the thought of the boy they had all adopted.

5 years had passed since the day Naruto was taken in by Blanc, who had introduced him to the rest of the Lowee Basilicom staff. Nearly immediately he had become a cherished hit with the staff with some of them having been mothers and fathers themselves, so they could help raise the boy in Blanc's absence. as well as provide advice and insight to their respected leader.

It had grown quickly apparent that the boy would be no less mischievous than his 'older' sisters rom and ram though, the latter taking great pride in no longer being the youngest anymore. Growing up it had become apparent that he had gained a prankster streak in him thanks to those two being a bad influence, she believed. One day, he made a prank on Blanc along with Rom and Ram by spiking her coffee with copious amounts of caffeine somehow, leading her to rush about like a certain pudding lover going on about kangaroo bouncing. The brunette had channelled that energy to trying to chase down those three trouble makers who laughed like hyenas all the while.

Blanc felt pretty sure some of the servants even recorded the event in secret though she couldn't be sure.

Worse Blanc was never able to catch Naruto much to her shock, the small blonde having somehow memorised the ENTIRE layout of the Basilicom to find hidden passageways and vents to slide into to escape her notice, ones not even she in her many centuries of living had known about or if she did she'd long forgotten about them. The kid had a natural talent for sneaking around like a thief, and would often find ways to raid the kitchens for snacks especially in the middle of the night leading him to be restless and later on tired for the following morning.

According to her servants who had experience with raising young boys this was actually normal, for children especially young boys could be quite intelligent when they wanted to be, using anything he could get his hands on to his advantage. She honestly wondered about that, considering where Naruto had originated from perhaps he had the innate talent for stealth and infiltration. A thought that she irked herself for having since it reminded her of that horrific continent… if it weren't for his parents being from that place she would have tried destroying it for how they treated the little boy.

Though something that softened her hardening features did present itself in her mind, and that was how Blanc thought about another aspect of Naruto's cultivated personality: his quiet side. Apparently it started when she, in an attempt to find something to calm him down, gave him a book to read. She hadn't checked to see what book it was only that it was a childrens' book so nothing too bad would be shown to him… she'd once caught some perverted assholes trying to sneak porn mags into the little boy's room once. She didn't remember their names only that they'd once been her followers before finding out about thunder tits and converting to her… because of those melons on her.

She'd smacked them out of her Basilicom via her hammer without caring for why they're there in the first place.

Anyways, it must have unlocked something in the young boy because the next day Rom and Ram had tried pranking her again but this time she'd caught them, way too easily in fact. Turned out that they (read: ram) tried to get Naruto in on it like before but they couldn't find him to their dismay. This time Blanc had managed to track him down and found him inside the library… atop one of the shelves with a pile of childrens' books next to him. After nearly giving her a heart attack, Naruto had explained that he wanted to read more, so Blanc had him a slotted reading time in his daily schedule… his educators deciding to use this as a tool in their sessions.

Oh yeah, the twins and Naruto had private tutors who got paid REAL well to handle them whenever Blanc or Mina couldn't be around to help raise them. Naturally her sisters gave them a hard time at every opportunity, but the one assigned to Naruto had been quite pleased to do so, having been a father of two boys himself. So when the boy had developed a passion for reading that was only second to Lowee's CPU herself he had jumped at the chance to help speed along his learning which would only benefit the boy in the long run.

'Still I have to hand it to the kid, he chose some creative pranks to pull…' Blanc thought, thinking to the copious amount of pranks Naruto had pulled off without even getting caught with how sneaky he had been and it had not been just her he victimized. Sometimes he'd target Ram, the staffers just about anybody… save for Rom with the one time he did nearly bringing her to tears and Naruto freaking out at the sight. He got SEVERELY scolded for that one by not just her but Ram and most of the staffers, so safe to say Rom got a prank pass from him. Instead they'd read and draw in picture books together when Ram wasn't around to play.

Deciding to take a break from her paperwork which had really just been updates on various construction projects throughout the city like the new theme park Nintenland, Blanc stood up from her chair and decided to stroll towards her window to gaze out into her home city. She intended on letting the kids go with Mina to the theme park at some point, give them a break from daily life since staying indoors all day wasn't healthy according to the parents inside the staff roster.

Going outside… Blanc should take that advice herself shouldn't she? It had been a bit stuffy in her office, so she decided to step outside it to take a walk down the corridor, her destination being the library. She heard some good novels about politics over an iron throne had been added, and she'd been curious to take a look for herself.

All the while, Blanc thought about some of the papers she'd seen being about orders for the ingredients to make pudding which likely came from Naruto himself. Blanc narrowed her eyes at that, thinking of the one who inspired him to like Pudding so much. 'Neptune…'

As promised, Neptune and Vert indeed worked really hard to increase their nations' Shares, thus they were allowed to see Naruto in Lowee.

Neptune, the thought of her first interaction with the blonde gave Blanc both a headache and made her want to laugh at the same time. As someone with a deep fondness for cute things, the first thing Neptune did when meeting Naruto was try to hug him, something which the blonde appreciated… just so he could give the girl a wedgie as some sort of payback when he saw Blanc being mad at her for a boob joke she made.

Girl got left bouncing about holding her backside, with Naruto and Ram on the floor laughing their backsides off.

Of course, Neptune tried to prank him back by switching out his clothes for female ones to make Naruto look like a girl which would be humiliating for any boy worth his salt… only to find that not only did Naruto have spare clothes provided in case Ram tried that (and she'd tried multiple times) her clothes got stuffed with itching powder without her even realising till the following night, during the day being filled with her scratching herself all over.

Naturally this meant war, and the great 'prank war' between Neptune, Rom (who got roped into it by her sister) and ram begun.

Fierce battles were waged, soldiers on all sides suffered great indignation and many atrocities to games, books and paperwork were committed on both sides in the following months. Yet with every war, a victor had to emerge and thanks to intervention from the other CPUs who noticed that some funds kept getting transferred to lowee's coffers for some reason, mediated between the three parties to reach a settlement.

Thus, Naruto earned his first victory against the divine and it'd not be the last… as well as the official title 'the prank king'.

One time, during the ceasefire specifically, Neptune had given Naruto one of her puddings and they were surprised as they saw Naruto eat the pudding in a single gulp. Stunned by the display, Neptune had wanted to berate him since he was not enjoying the taste of the delicacy, with some part of her wondering if this was his way of getting under her skin without actually breaking the limits (Blanc gave the three a GOOD idea as to what'd happen if they tried that shit after one of their pranks ruined a book of hers). But after seeing him be silent for a moment before tugging at her dress's skirt area with an adorable puppy dog face she had no clue how he could pull off to then ask for more pudding, the purple-haired girl relented to his wish immediately.

As for Vert, she tried to hug Naruto (and by hugging I mean put Naruto in the pair of her large breasts), but Blanc was quick to take Naruto in her arms since she didn't want Naruto to suffocate from the titty monsters. Worse was the thought of her turning him into a pervert.

Perhaps she had no ability to stop something from forming from that experience, cause once Naruto got a good look at her he immediately became transfixed by the physically older woman. To the point where he gestured to her and called her 'pretty'. Lets just say Vert got quite surprised by the compliment and blushed a bit, a warm affection in her eyes as she tried to hug the blonde again to thank him. This had been nightmare fuel for Blanc who couldn't sleep for a few weeks after that, leading to a shorter temper and greater rages when she snapped at the twins or Naruto himself.

It also triggered some jealousy from the more childish members of their little group like Neptune and the twins who immediately tried to get the same compliment from Naruto that Vert did. Unfortunately those plans failed cause Naruto only thought Vert was pretty… the rest were cute, which mollified them somewhat while making Neptune jealous of her HDD self that she couldn't show the blonde due to Blanc eyeing her like the devil incarnate.

Lastly was Noire, the black-haired CPU and one of the more tolerable ones in Blanc's eyes simply for her ability and practicality as a leader of a nation… if only as bad a workaholic as she was at making friends. Though that had probably changed a little bit since out of the other three CPUs she was the only one who came to visit him everyday, something that galled Neptune and Vert but since she had been doing well for her nation ever since before Naruto arrived, Histoire got her that privilege.

Something Blanc agreed with, with many of her advisors and politicians agreeing that Lastation's officials were the ideal ones to work with on issues and projects concerning their nations, if a bit too full of themselves. But considering how in prior disasters like the ASIC it was largely Lastation followed Planeptune who kept them out of ther lands the longest, there was some merit to their hotheadedness.

Their first meeting, to her internal dismay, had gone similarly to how it went with Vert, with the blackette havingr used the whiskers on his face as inspiration to gift Naruto a fox plushie and the boy loved it immensely. She even got him to say she was pretty after this too, which flustered the girl a great deal much to Rom and Ram's dismay. Nonetheless by the day's end Noire would never admit it, but she'd gone back to Lastation with a big smile on her face she couldn't hide from the more observant Lastation residents such as her sister and Oracle.

Though the biggest indicator of Noire's care for the boy came months later when she'd brought in some paperwork as she'd claimed, but Naruto had found them and found they were strategy guides for a game she was having trouble clearing. While not old enough yet to play videogames at the time, Naruto had asked her about it which led to Noire playing the game with him while the twins had been occupied by Mina and Blanc had a business meeting to attend. Since it had been a horror game Noire had worried that Naruto would not be able to handle it, and while he HAD shook like a leaf in some scenes (ones with ghosts in mostly) he had pushed through and helped her clear the game. When she'd asked him why he pushed himself, he'd explained that he didn't want her to feel scared so he wanted to put on a brave face for her, once calling her 'smile heart' cause the smile he saw on her face made him really happy.

Perhaps the fact Naruto chased down anyone with a folding fan who called her lonely heart cause it ruined her 'pretty smile' was also an indicator… maybe.

Blanc herself wondered if she would react like that if she smiled more herself… then promptly erased it from her memory since she didn't like feeling jealous of Noire. Naruto was a kid after all, he might change when he's older and its kinda sad Noire made a friend with someone childish and not one her own age… then again she was like the rest of them in that age had no meaning to her.

Finally reaching the library, Blanc strolled through while giving a small nod to the librarian at the front desk, who nodded in turn like they were exchanging some secret code. Blanc then went to one of the farthest library walls in the room, ignoring the shelves of books she had already devoured from beginning to end to the point she could recite their contents by memory.

Once she reached the wall, a series of lines drew themselves on the wall to form a door shape. This 'door' split apart at the sides with faint whistling sounds leaving it, revealing a smaller room much like Blanc's office behind it that the woman stepped into, the door closing behind her.

The cube-shaped room itself had a mix of different red shades, with the furniture being a mahogany desk, a gamer chair, and a series of shelves adorned the walls with each one being filled with books. Once the door had closed behind her, Blanc took one of the books out of the shelf, sat inside the chair and begun writing in it. The majority of these books had been ones she had made herself, many published and many more unpublished. She'd had this room built when a stink bomb exploded inside her office curtesy of Ram and ruined her books with the stench. Fortunately it hadn't been found by the kids yet, and she remained determined to keep it that way for as long as possible.

Speaking of secrets, Blanc began to think more about the whiskered blonde as she took her quill and began jotting down notes for a new story chapter. For one, it was quickly found out that after his fourth birthday Naruto had kept sneaking into the library after curfew and would spend hours reading books that were NOT suited for children. It became apparent after the librarian had found books not where they're supposed to be and initially thought Blanc had been the one doing this until she thought better since the Lowee CPU respecte library traditions like they were sacred covenants.

When she got the chance Blanc managed to visit Naruto who had snuck into a large open space outside of the Basilicom and had begun trying to swing a wooden sword he had obviously made himself due to the shoddy craftsmanship. She didn't scold him when that happened like the blonde thought, but asked him what the big deal was with his actions, prompting Naruto to explain that he and Ram had gotten into a fight about how magic was better than fighting up close. Thus, he decided to read up on books involving great heroes fighting monsters to try and prove her wrong, only to end up loving the idea of hand to hand and sword combat. He'd managed to make a wooden sword after many trials and errors using stuff he'd read about crafting equipment, and had just started practicing when Blanc had come into the picture.

Part of her had been confused on why Naruto had been so forthcoming or even not bothered to hide his traces, until she realised that he hadn't been intending to in the first place, this not being a prank or anything mischievous. He truly did wish to learn how to fight in melee combat.

Once she had found this all out Blanc gave Naruto a light scolding for breaking curfew, but gave him a book about basic sword stances for him to use afterwards which earned a smile as bright as his hair. She'd learned later on that boys his age would fight with wooden swords in playfighting from the parents of young boys, yet another difference between him and the twins Blanc had not been expecting, though the sight of him struggling to practice the right stances made her smile inside.

Blanc had also scolded Ram for pushing Naruto to that point and made the two apologise to one another, knowing that Ram and Naruto were too prideful to accept anything else.

Upon hearing that his training had begun, Noire had decided to gift him a second sword, so he can eventually practice dual wielding after having noticed him looking into the subject a lot. In Naruto's own words 'it looked cool and I wanna try it', hence why she had done so. The sight of the blonde in his newly designated 'training grounds' honestly reminded them a lot of Kushina whenever she would practice her Uzumaki Kenjutsu which was also a dual wielding style… which soon enough had brought up the topic of telling Naruto about his family.

Opinions back then had been pretty mixed from what Blanc remembered as she jotted down more notes and ideas, allowing the creative juices to start flowing. She'd been on the side of not telling, same with Noire whereas Vert and Neptune wanted to tell him as soon as possible based on the knowledge that now that Naruto's started practicing how to fight there's a higher chance the Kyuubi would become more active. Something that they didn't know if they themselves had the ability to stop considering that it's power alone could cause gamindustri as a continent to tremble. It was a mass of Chakra after all, and held more power in its tails than each of them combined.

'Histoire had the final say though…' Blanc thought, pausing on her writing to drop her quill and frown to herself.

In the end Histoire had been on her and Noire's side on this matter, explaining that as children, their brains weren't fully cognitively developed. Its why whenever something bad happened to their parents or something bad happened to them in general, the always tended to blame themselves cause they didn't know any better. Considering this was a Tome with lots of knowledge on the subject matter, the CPUs had elected to believe her.

Though in the future, there would be talks about briefly paying Konohagakure a visit to see if they can find a way to help Naruto unlock his Chakra coils, something only possible in the elemental nations whose people worked differently on a biological level to those on their continent. SP and Chakra were two different energies, and nobody had both it was either one or the other.

Speaking of Konohagakure, Danzo Who'd managed to locate Gamindustri in a way none of them knew considering only Minato and Kushina had known, had made a lot of kidnapping attempts against Naruto, but all failed miserably. Something that Blanc growled at the thought of especially that war hawk who probably had a hand in leaking Naruto's status as a jinchuuriki earlier than intended.

Then again she hated the people there anyways since they're a bunch of narrow-minded idiots. The ROOT anbu had even tried to hold children as hostages but it failed thanks to Blanc's intervention, and a little girl named Abnes who somehow caught the ROOT's attempt which alerted Blanc thanks to her noisy attitude.

The Lowee CPU had to give the little brat credit there, she'd heard that Abnes was someone who hated adults and loved young children, being an orphan herself who had nobody to rely on growing up. She'd managed to open various orphanages and funded businesses that'd help those orphanages stay afloat for the children who had been like her. So naturally she didn't take too kindly to ANYONE messing with children while she's around.

'Wait, children… wasn't there something that happened in Leanbox a while ago to do with kids…?' Lowee's CPU thought to herself in confusion as a familiar sensation erupted in her gut. Her eyes widened when she finally remembered it, a figurative lightbulb erupting inside her mind. 'Right, there was!'

(Flashback)

On a routine visit to Leanbox to discuss some business, Blanc had been surprisingly invited to Vert's personal chambers. She had to stop Naruto, the twins and the CPU candidates from getting any weird ideas about that insinuation, even had to bash Neptune's head in with a hammer. Oh yeah, the other CPUs had been invited as well, including Noire.

The blonde CPU had then, once everyone was allowed inside her chambers, asked them to wait for her here and hastened to go to another room for a moment. This had left the group confused for the most part since the woman had looked like she was torn on something, which wasn't really like her to be frank. Even the younglings of the group had noticed, and they usually didn't participate in the older members' chatter too much in favor of their own little worlds. Speaking of worlds, the girls soon started getting into conspiracy mode, like a daughter she had been adopting or Vert had somehow made a clone of herself. Some of them got wilder like she had somehow came across a ghost which had spooked Naruto despite his efforts to hide it, earning some of Ram's snickers that got quickly silenced with a folding fan.

About 30 minutes later, Vert finally returned to the room… only thing was, she wasn't alone. She now walked in with a girl with orange-brownish chestnut hair and hazel eyes in hand, the two holding said bodyparts as they entered the room. Her hair fell to her waist in length, and for her outfit she wore a dark red leather tunic alongside a lightweight copper breastplate, an unusual sight for anyone in gamindustri who didn't use armor. Her legs remained concealed behind some leather pants tucked into some knee high boots… and judging from the way she nervously looked away from them she didn't like being the subject of attention.

Immediately the girls of the group could tell what this girl was, since she had a divine aura to her that matched that of Nepgear and the other Candidates.

"V-V-Vert!? You have a sister!?" Noire stuttered out as she pointed at the girl around Nepear's age.

"I do, but I don't know how this happened." Vert replied, uncharacteristically demure right nowsince she had no clue how this had happened. One idea she DID have was the extra work she did with her nation caused her shares to skyrocket and thus Leanbox got a new CPU Candiate.

The more veteran (but not by much) CPU candidates then swarmed the meek girl who hid behind her sister.

"Asuna, don't be afraid, they're your fellow CPU candidates." Vert gestured softly.

The girl nodded at her sister before coming out from her hiding spot.

She introduced herself but she felt out of place since her fellow candidates were much more mature than her until her hazel eyes saw a blonde-haired boy sitting on a black-haired girl's lap.

Naruto noticed she was staring at him before he jumped from Noire's lap and jogged at the girl.

"Hi, I'm Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet you, Asuna-chan." The blonde introduced himself calmly as he offered a handshake. Though given their height difference, her being Nepgear's height and him being Ram's, the hand had to be raised slightly.

The hazel-eyed girl slowly took his hand and shook it nonetheless though, a sense of nervousness overwhelming her. She had heard from her sister that there was a boy coming over from Lowee and would be the only boy in a group of girls, but didnt know what to expect. she'd never interacted with anyone before other than her sister and that weird Oracle Chika, but at least they were female like her. She'd never even had any contact with the opposite gender.

"H-Hi, I'm Asuna… are you a Candidate too?"

"Nope, I'm a growing normal guy, y'know."

"Y'know?"

The CPUs snickered at the verbal tic, something the blonde quickly flushed at having allowed to slip out.

"...don't mind it, it's a slip on my part…" The blonde took his hand before rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

"I-I think it's cute…"

Immediately after hearing that, Naruto beamed a smile at the meek girl.

"Thanks! I think you're pretty too, Asuna-chan."

Asuna squeaked a little upon hearing Naruto's compliment, a faint pink hue dusting over her cheeks. She initially wondered what was wrong with her since she felt things she'd never felt before not even when her sister gave her compliments after having her clear a videogame for children. She'd felt happy back then, and this time there was happiness there… but there's something else to it. Something unique, she didn't quite understand.

As soon as that was said, the other CPU candidates felt something uneasy in them and unconsciously glared at the boy.

Said boy, as if like a radar, sensed these changes, yet didn't know what they meant. Instead he glanced at the candidates and rubbed the back of his head in confusion. The girls seemed fine with him calling Noire and Vert pretty, whats the big deal here? "Uh…did I do something wrong, Ram-chan, Rom-chan, Uni-chan, Nep-chan? Why are you mad at me?"

The sisters were caught off guard and tried to cover it with several reasons that just fell flat.

(Flashback end)

Blanc had to chuckle to herself at the way Naruto looked so innocent while the CPU Candidates, realising the danger (it helped she'd been glaring at them like a demon out of hell) they were in and trying in vain to explain it all away. She now had to admit in hindsight that it was rather amusing to see Naruto casually swaying maiden hearts without any meaning to. She could tell he'd grow up to be a dense harem protagonist though, and internally vowed to give him the 'talk' when he's older. Just to avoid any unnecessary drama since she didn't like the thought of any girls being hurt by his density.

Guess Naruto had a few standards whenever he called someone pretty. He'd called the CPU candidates cute as a means to pacify them, even Rom and Ram who he had already said were cute beforehand. To this day only Asuna, Noire and Vert had been called pretty by Naruto with the rest of them being 'cute' and that was fine for his current age.

But then she felt her happiness bleed away, to be replaced with concern as she thought about what had happened next. That Naruto had locked on to their emotions, particularly negative ones which resulted in the whole mess in the first place. As dense as he was Naruto likely didn't know the meaning of such things, but the rest of them weren't so unknowing, it practically rang alarm bells inside their minds.

Even Histoire didn't know the reasons behind this.

But, she speculated that perhaps it was because of the Kyubi sealed in him or his Uzumaki bloodline.

They had to accept those theories for now as they couldn't clarify it because there were no Uzumaki left and Uzushio, owned by them, was destroyed in the Second Ninja War.

The following week Blanc had decided to take Naruto (who'd quickly gotten close to Asuna and vice versa with him being the one she's closest to out of the group) to Planeptune to see their oracle. The most knowledgeable person that they had on hand at the present time. Histoire then threw the blonde a few questions such as 'when did he realize he could sense someone's negative emotions?'

Naruto had answered that it had been a few weeks prior to the meeting with Asuna, when he met a man by the name of Mr. Badd while searching for more places to both train and nag Blanc to let him visit with the twins.

(Flashback)

Naruto was walking toward Lowee's park alone, as his big sister Blanc had once again been busy. Rom and Ram had wanted to go with Naruto, but they were caught in the middle of a quest with Nepgear and Uni right now, and Naruto was too young to take part of a quest much to his disappointment.

As Naruto walked to the park, he bumped into a man who was a little fat, dressed in a sharp black suit, and he was wearing a pair of glasses. "Hey, watch where you're going brat." The man told him coldly.

"S-Sorry sir i was in my thoughts." Naruto hurriedly stammered, remembering how Blanc had mentioned that nobody liked being bumped into by strangers and it being especially bad for kids. But then, to his confusion, the whiskered blonde noticed that the man had a lot of negative emotions. Not emotionless like those evil people wearing those blank masks he encountered before, but more like anger, and sorrow.

"Hmph." The man then took a closer look at Naruto, it was rare to see a child his age unsupervised by their parents even in Lowee. "What are you doing there alone brat?"

"Weeeell... I wanted to go with my big sisters but they were busy so I came here alone to play~" Naruto told him with a cheerful voice. "Can I ask you a question, mister?"

"What is it?"

"Why are you so angry and so sad?"

The man's eyes widened greatly. How did this brat know he was feeling? Did he... No,that wouldn't be possible.

"I... lost my daughter because of that damn White Heart. Had she saved her that day, she would have survived." The man growled angrily.

Naruto tilted his head in confusion, his mind baffled by the claims the man was making. "But... I know she wouldn't neglect something like that, sure she works a lot but its not like she doesn't care about everyone's wellbeing…" he commented, thinking about the times Blanc gave them gifts or spent time drawing with them when she had the time. While it wasn't very often, it still showed she cared. But it didn't seem like the man's emotions would be going away, and that began to scare him, so he decided to inquire more into the subject of those emotions. "What was the monster you told me about?"

"A horde of Lizardmen."

Naruto thought and frowned about it. He did remember Blanc coming back from a quest a while back involving a horde of Lizardmen which had left their habitats to go out like an army and conquer surrounding lands. It was apparently something that happened a lot which was why Adventurers were needed to quell their ranks.

But this doesn't make any sense. From what Blanc told him, she crushed every lezardman she saw in her path...

"Unless..." Naruto muttered.

"Unless what brat?"

"What if one of the Lezardman escaped unknowly from her? I mean i don't believe that my sister would neglect something like that would she? You must know how thorough she tends to be with killing monsters getting too close to her people." The blonde remarked hopefully, staring up into the man's eyes.

The man thought about it. Now that he think about it, why would she let his precious daugther die without any reason like that? That boy may be the lead he had to finally answering his questions about the incident.

There was also this strange boy, he didn't know why but he felt that this boy has something special. If anyone else tried telling him this, he would just toss thoses thoughts away but from this innocent boy he didn't think he would.

That, and the fact that he heard the boy calling her 'sister' which meant he was close to the CPU. If that's true then bias aside he could get him an audience with the CPU so he could get those answers himself.

He then made his choice.

"Brat i have something to ask. Can you take me to White Heart? I must see her. She may have the answers I seek."

(Flashback End)

After that, Naruto had led the man who'd been called Mr Badd to the Basilicom, and practically forced her to cooperate with his infamous puppy dog eyes. She could not say no to that one.

Blanc told the man named Mr. Badd the whole truth about that quest incident. At the time she had been slaughtering those Lizardmen as the quest dictated, she had assumed this to be an ordinary monster quelling mission and so hadn't expected any tricks since Lizardmen weren't usually very intelligent. But that cost her greatly due to the fact one managed to smack her upside the head and temporarily knock her out… for a few dozen seconds before her mind rebooted. She had quickly resumed killing them all and chased them down one by one, with the last one taking longer to find as it had slipped away during the fighting. That one had been the one that killed the man's daughter during its rampage until Blanc had killed it.

Her explanation wiped out the anger inside the man's heart after an initial disbelief, but the sadness for losing his daughter remained seeing as she had been the last memory he had of his deceased wife. But he'd been the bigger man and saw, with the evidence Mina had found online of the events, that Blanc had indeed tried her best to kill them all.

Badd then apologised for the mistakes he had been about to make on his path to vengeance, such as endeavor to create an organisation to manipulate the CPUs, take their shares and eventually overtake the world order.

Luckily for him, he didn't commit any crimes yet so Blanc forgave him after some... scolding.

Mr. Badd had then turned and thanked Naruto for what he had done for him and decided that should Naruto need it, he would help him with anything he could, and left to his home.

Blanc was happy for Naruto as she told him that Mr. Badd was the first person outside of her, the CPUs, and the Candidates to place his faith on Naruto. Mr Badd was quite hard to convince to change his ways, and he did what Blanc failed to do with Badd.

'Hmmm, maybe this could be a decent short story…' The Lowee CPU thought to herself, before deciding to jot down ideas for the plot of this short story.
