Knockout: HAhahahahahahaha!

Get it out of your system.

Jack: Alright what's so funny?

Knouckout: He (gasps) He hahahaha

I finally decided to make a stat page for all of your stats, magic and skills.

Jack: You just now are doing it!?

Yes…

Knockout: Tell him what you discovered!

Turns out I nerfed you.

Jack: What!?

Turns out your health pool was smaller than it should be, and war cry was weaker.

Jack: Seriously.

Look I'm human okay, I made mistakes, and I fixed them. Can we get to the reviews.

Jack: Alright.

Leaf Ranger: Yeah, I figure eventually the D.E. would mutate them further, but I plan on only two maybe three forms.

Ryu Wolf: I'm aiming for something close to sci-fi and fantasy, but he will get some armor sets before the one I'm working on.

Benthino: We're talking about Jack here, poor guy may face unspeakable horrors now but I doubt he can flirt.

Trainman-Captain Writer: A lot of your questions will be answered in time but I will give you a hint. We have seen this scientist before in previous Transformers media. Also did you read my notes for this chapter? Kidding I guess I was making it transparent, although not to the extent you we're thinking of.

I don't own Transformers, if I did then more Prime characters would arrive in Rescue Bots

Jack was smiling as he walked down the hall. For the first time since Maplewood, he had a decent sleep. He was still doing his exercises but nowhere as fanatical as before. Arcee was right, he planned on learning from his mistakes and more importantly he had his friends to watch his back.

"Jack!" Turning to who called him, he sees Raf and Miko walking up to him.

"Hey Jack, about yesterday…" Miko began.

"I'm sorry." Jack interrupted. "I haven't been the most reasonable lately. I kept pushing and pushing when I shouldn't have."

"Jack after what happened it's understandable. Just remember we're here for you." Raf encouraged.

"Yeah, this band isn't going to break up any time soon." Miko chuckled.

"How about instead of practice today why don't we head to my place and binge movies. I'll even cook dinner." Jack offered.

"I'm in!" Miko agreed with Raf nodding.

Omega One

Arcee shot another target down keeping a streak of twenty-seven going. Once she dropped Jack off, she decided some practice was in order. Looking around the firing range she was still impressed by it. It was a simple set up, firing lanes, a blast stop at the end and shooting booths, but what impressed her that it was all created in moments. Optimus was curious about the base editor so with Jack's help they created a couple new rooms in the base. First was the training room Jack received which was a large, even for a cybertronian, room that allowed them to create holograms of various opponents, something the bots found useful. Then they decided to test out creating new rooms which gave the option of blank or premade rooms. The rooms cost energon to create them, but the premade rooms cost quite a bit more. Even Ratchet couldn't complain as he gained a basic cybertronian lab, there were upgrades that can be added but Optimus decided to wait and save energon.

"Arcee." Turning around she sees Optimus and Ratchet at the doorway. "May we talk?"

"Of course, Optimus."

"It's about the decepticon Wheeljack saw." Ratchet said. "Do you have any idea who she may be?"

"I have no Idea. I was born from a union. My sire died when I was barely out of my protoform stage, and my carrier never bonded with anyone else. Could she be a shifter? We already dealt with Makeshift; another wouldn't be out of the question." Arcee asked. Ratchet shook his head.

"No, once a shifter mimics the body of another their body becomes an exact match to whom they're mimicking. Yet this decepticon not only looks different from you but has different abilities." Ratchet explains.

"So, any ideas?" Arcee asked. She was reasonably concerned after all, it's not every day that someone out there has a copy of your face.

"For now, we shall remain vigilant, I believe we shall cross paths with this mysterious decepticon." Optimus replied.

Elsewhere

Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper were on a small cliffside observing an opening to an energon mine. Their goal was to scout the area before calling the base. So far, they counted three guards. As they were about to call the base for back up a ground bridge open. Stepping out were two drones they hadn't seen in a long time. The first was a bulky hunchback with armor that looks like treads on its arms and a cannon over its shoulder. The second was very slim, their legs were digitigrade, their visor was a circle instead of a V like other drones and they wielded a long barrel rifle.

"Scrap, that's a sniper and tank. I haven't seen those since Cybertron." Bulkhead cursed.

"We're going to need help if we want to keep this quiet. You think Arcee could take the tank out if she cloaks?" Cliff asked.

"It's worth a shot. The real problem is the sniper. I seen a lot of good bots fall to those things." Bulkhead points out. While a sniper drone can't take a hit, they can however cloak themselves and catch someone off guard. After calling the base they only had to wait for a few moments before they heard Optimus and Arcee driving toward them.

"Report." Optimus asked.

"Looks to be a standard energon mine. A pair of guards rotates every thirty minutes until a ground bridge opened just before we called you. It seems the cons are dusting off some old friends." Bulkhead reported. Seeing the tank down below with a scout, Optimus turned to Arcee who nodded.

Deploying her arm blades Arcee activated her cloak. One of the many things she discovered while practicing her new ability. She could stay invisible for five minutes as long as she doesn't activate her T-cog or else the cloaking is turned off. To top it off she couldn't reactivate it for a minute after she uncloaked. Making her way down the cliff face she was careful not to knock over any rocks or dust until she reached the ground. From there she went to the two drones guarding the base. She mostly ignored the scout as she made her way to the tank. Acting quickly, she jams her blades through the tank's optics and right into its processor. She then rushed to the other drone as it turned to see the tank fall and stabbed it through its spark chamber. She signals to the others that the coast was clear. Once they regrouped Optimus had her re-equip her cloaking to hunt down the sniper before the others took out the rest of the vehicons.

Moving down the mine shaft the group of bots saw a cavern fill with unmined energon along with fifty drones. As the Autobots were getting ready they realized they were spotted. The sniper was watching the entrance when they snuck in. It ready its rifle and took aim. Its crosshairs were lingering over each one of the bots before settling on Optimus. Soon the sniper took aim right at the Prime's spark chamber and began to squeeze the trigger. Yet before it could finish a blade burst through its chest ending its life. Arcee looked at the dead drone before waiting for the others to begin their attack. Carefully Optimus and Bumblebee moved and took out two of the guards before hiding behind one of the rocky pillars. Bulkhead and Cliff split up going on opposite sides of the cavern silently taking down any guards they can. Once everyone got into position they waited for Optimus' signal. The Prime opened fire on the drones, getting their attention and once they tried to fire back the rest of team Prime began their attack. In a few moments the cavern was full of dead drones and plenty of energon to transport.

"Ratchet, open the ground bridge." Optimus called over the comms. Soon enough the portal opened allowing the Autobots to move pallets of energon to their base.

"Mining outpost 078, respond. This is the Nemesis." A voice ordered from one of the nearby speakers. Thinking quickly Bumblebee ran over and punched the camera before answering.

"This is mining operation 078, hailing your call, Nemesis." Bee said mimicking a drone's voice.

"Why have you not responded sooner and why are the visuals not working?"

"Mining accident. Communication system was damaged, we only have audio capabilities at the moment." Bee answered. The other Autobots were quickly getting as much energon through the portal as possible. It was only a matter of time before Bumblebee's deception would be uncovered.

"Very well, be sure to file a report. Now make sure that energon will be ready. We will need it for outpost 005."

"Understood." Bumblebee said as the call ended.

"Outpost? Since when did the cons start making outpost?" Bulkhead asked.

"This has Strika's name written all over it." Cliffjumper said. It was obvious that unlike Starscream, Strika was making moves to make it much harder for them to run missions.

"That is most likely. We will need to ensure that these outposts cannot take root." Optimus said before turning to the wrecker. "Is the explosive ready?"

"Sure thing Optimus, I say we get out of here. Once I activate the timer, we don't want to be around for the fireworks." Once the cons realized the mine was compromised there would be no way for them to come back, so why not make sure the cons can't use it either. Though this was only allowed because there were no humans and very little wildlife around. Other mines were either too close to a town or a nature preserve for them to blow up. Nodding, the team quickly made their way through the portal. As the last second clicked down the fallowing explosion ignited the energon fueling the firestorm even further. The mine was destroyed, and it would take the Decepticons hours to realize something was amiss.

Omega One

Back at the base Optimus was informing Ratchet of their new discoveries while the rest were doing inventory of the energon they had stolen.

"This isn't good Optimus. We were very fortunate that Starscream put little effort into enhancing the Decepticon ranks, but Strika will make things much more difficult." The medic was worried and rightfully so. They were already facing an uphill battle but now that hill seems to become a vertical cliff face.

"We shall prepare and be vigilant. While our enemies may gather, we will hone our skills against them." The Prime reassured.

Ding! Ding!

Hearing the sound everyone turned their attention to the quest bored as it lit up.

"I really find that thing annoying." Ratchet grumbled. The fact that it updated to match what they discovered almost seemed to be mocking them.

"Imagine how Jack feels." Cliffjumper agreed.

Hours later Darby residence

June sighed as she walked up to the door. The last few days had been tiring. Nearly non-stop shifts due to new doctors and nurses that needed training were taking up her time, then they were treating injuries from street racing of all things, she swears if Jack even thinks about it, he'll be grounded for life. Thinking of her son June frowned. For the last few days, he seemed distant and dare she say frantic about something. That made June bite her lip. Something had to happen, and the worried parent part of her brain was going over several possibilities, none of them were good.

Opening the door the sounds of a small argument greeted her.

"I'm telling you King Mong could never beat Lordzilla." A female voice claimed.

"But King Mong is smart and can use tools, that gives him an advantage." A male voice that wasn't her son's countered. Walking in she sees a teenage boy and girl on the couch watching one of the latest kaiju movies.

"Guys let's be honest here, we'll never see a fight to the end. We'll see them both fight each other twice and both would win once because of a clear advantage and then fight together against some stronger foe. It's a simple formula that keeps fans happy and interested." Jack voice called from the kitchen. Walking out he stops when he sees his mom is home.

"Hey mom, welcome home. Um these two are my friends Raf and Miko."

"Hey Mrs. D."

"Hello Mrs. Darby."

"Hello, It's nice to meet you." She meant it too, Jack always had a hard time making friends in the past, it got to the point where she wondered if she should have him join a club.

"I invited them over for dinner and some movies. I hope you don't mind." Jack grinned sheepishly.

"I wish you told me ahead of time, I didn't think I'll be cooking tonight." June replied with a quirked eyebrow.

"Don't worry Mrs. D, Frosty is cooking dinner tonight." Miko pointed out.

"Frosty?" Alarm bells started going off. The nickname and Jack's behavior was starting to point to one direction.

"A nickname he got from the game were making." Miko said.

"You're…making a game?" June asked confused. Of everything she would have thought of, that wasn't on the list.

"Yep. Raf here is the programmer, I'm the sound director, and Jack is the writer." Miko explained impressing Jack and Raf with her guile.

"We're all helping write it Miko." Jack said as he went back to the kitchen.

"And we're still in the idea and note stage, so I haven't been doing much programming. Raf admitted.

"So, when did you all start and how did all of you meet?" June asked, hoping to learn about her son's new friends.

"Nearly a month ago, we met when a new game came out and got to talking and hanging out." Raf answered the nurse, He wasn't lying, he was just leaving out the fact that it involved aliens from another planet and the game being a power they have little clue about.

"Yeah, and we started on the game a week ago." Miko supplied.

"Jack had seemed a bit tense for the past few days." June mentioned finding the timing too coincidental.

"That's because he lost the photos for the reference material. Like fifty pictures of old landmarks and places missing because he left his bag on a shelf." Miko snickered.

"So, what is the game about." June asked as she thought about what Miko said. That would explain why Jack seemed so out of sorts. Losing anything would put a damper on anyone, especially if they were working on a project, but something told her it she wasn't getting the truth.

"Well, it starts with a war where the main bad guy tries to raise an army of the dead using an evil god's blood but was stopped, but the blood was scattered throughout the world and now the player has to help the king stopped the chaos the evil god's blood is causing." Miko explained, using events when they first met the bots to help their cover story.

Meanwhile Jack was working on dinner as he listened in. He was honestly impressed and a little scared of Miko's ability to create a convincing lie. Not only did she create a perfect cover story but if his mom ever walks in while they're talking about the bots or the system, she'll think it's the game they are creating. Looking at his dish Jack smiled as he got it ready.

"Dinner's done!"

"Sweet what is it?" Miko asked as she and the others walked in.

"Chicken broccoli alfredo." Jack replied as he served their plates. Sitting down the four began to dig in.

"Mmm, this is delicious." Raf complimented.

"Yeah, Frosty this is great."

"I'm impressed Jack, I didn't know you became such a talented chef." June complimented.

"Just wanted to prove my point." Jack said making June confused before she realized what he meant.

"You mean when I joked about your cooking skills?" She began chuckling. "Just like your father, willing to prove a point even for the smallest of things."

Jack stilled for a second before recovering. It was rare for June to bring up his dad. Ever since his disappearance, June always avoided the subject only talking about him fondly once in a while.

"So, how's school treating you kids?" June asked.

"Other than on piling on the work." Miko grumbled.

"Come on Miko it's not that bad, besides we get through a lot during study hall and finish it quickly after school." Raf pointed out. The night went on for the four as they talked and joked. Soon though it was time for Raf and Miko to head home. After they left June smiled at her son.

"What?"

"I'm just glad you are making friends." Jack shook his head as he went to his room. Laying down he looked at the notifications he got.

Smiling, he pulled out some of the rewards he gained the last few days. First were the boss cores he received. Activating them he watched them glow before they burst into light and flow into him.

[WIS increased to 59]

[STR increased to 64]

Not bad, not what he was hoping for but not bad. Next came the boosters, taking the common ones he looked at his skills and spells. The first thing he decided to level up was his lightning bolt, it was high time he put some effort into it, but the question was what else. Looking at his skills there was a few he hasn't done anything to improve them. Finally he made his choice.

[Lightning Bolt: LVL: 8 (0/195)]

[D-rank]

[Create a bolt of lightning to strike down your enemies]

[90 Damage]

[15% chance to paralyze]

[War Cry: LVL 15 (57/146)]

[B-Rank]

[25% chance to cause fear in enemies]

[Will leave user exhausted for several minutes base on stat increase. +30 Stats = 5 Minutes]

[Can't be used again until all enemies are eliminated.]

[Cost: 20 SP]

Jack felt his jaw drop. Not only did the gains increase to insane levels but the drawback was nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

"Wait wait, remember it's only useful if you're facing a lot of enemies that are near your level." Jack said as he calmed down. Yes, while useful he can't do anything insane, he still couldn't fight a con but he could get a boost from a boss even if they don't summon anyone. Although he has to be careful when he uses it now since he could no longer stack it like he used to. Now for his stats, he has ten AP to spend. He put two in CON, three in DEX, four in INT, and the last one in WIS. His stats were now shown as this.

Name: Jack Darby]

[Title: The Gamer]

[Race: Human]

[LVL: 20 (11,723/22,824)]

[HP: 3,400/3,3400]

[MP: 1,240/1,240]

[SP: 1,300/1,300]

[CON: 60]

[STR: 64 +10]

[DEX: 60 +3]

[INT: 57]

[WIS: 60]

[LCK: 51]

[AP: 0]

Jack held back a whistle. His stats were insane. Heck he was nearly beating Fowler in stats and the agent had military training. Then there was his health pool, while now where near the bots but it had to be the highest any human could have. Shaking his head Jack got ready to sleep knowing he had a new day to greet.

Alright, it's a short chapter but it's supposed to be filler, no big adventure just Jack relaxing with friends and family. But before I go it's time to reveal the winner of the next dungeon.

With a mighty lead the winner is Isla Nublar! Thank you to everyone who voted.

Knouckout: I hope you have a plan for that.

I have a lot of plans, some I even threw out.

Knockout: Like what?

Indominus Rex with the plague of madness from Primel.

Knockout: You're a sick son of a glitch.
