MK gagged as the Lady Bone Demon slowly started to rise out the ground below her, grabbing tightly onto her neck as she smirked at her. "You're just a piece in a game you simply cannot possibly comprehensive." she grinned squeezing tightly, MK tried to loosen her grip but to no prevail.
Then, an explosion shook the room behind MK, making her let go and MK left gasping for breath as she dropped to her knees, her eyes filled with fear.
The Spider Queen cackled as she slowly made her way through the hole in the cave she'd just exploded, grinning. "Monkie kid! Im done waiting! I'm going to enjoy this!" She said happily, launching herself at her.
"Think little!" MK shrieked as the Spider Queen hurtled towards her at a frightening speed. She quickly managed to shrunk herself.
The Spider Queen was sent flying with a huge wave of energy, slamming into the wall and creating a shockwave. MK took that chance to retreat into the rubble, all the while gasping and trying not to trip over her own feet.
The Bone Demon watched her leave with glowing blue eyes and a satisfying expression.
"Run child, destiny will always catch up to us."
Spider Queen gasped and snapped out of it. growls as she was thinking about the 'little girl', who knocked her away effortlessly. A stray hair falls from her crown and onto her face and quickly tucked it back in.
She turns to Goliath, who is busy sealing up the sewer entrance. "Seal it! Faster!" She demanded. "I don't want anyone gettin' through."
"I'm goin' 'bout as fast as I can here!" The giant spider grunts, finally managing to shift the sewer grate into place.
"My Queen," Syntax chimed in, standing from a crouching position. "We can begin collecting the materials, the update is ready." He informed, holding out a wrist, one of his watch-like gadgets casting a small hologram.
The Spider Queen sighs. "Good, good! I'm not gonna let that little girly play me!" She concludes in confidence. "I am the Queen! If she wants a fight, I'll give her one.." She growls, walking towards the edge of the ledge that led to a sharp descent downwards. She smiles at the wrecked Spider Mech from New Years, planning a scheme in her head.
Huntsman, still skeptical from his last encounter with Sandy, looked up at his Queen with hesitation. The spider demoness sensed his staring and glances down at him.
"You got something to share?" The spider demoness growled and raised one of her robotic legs threateningly above Huntsman.
Huntsman shouts in surprise. "N-No! It's just-- The girl, She's just, uh-- maybe we should just?" He trails off, stuttering before sighing.
"Nothing...It's nothing, my Queen." He hums softly. Syntax is stiffened with nervousness, sweat dropping at his colleague.
Spider Queen lowers her leg, the sharp edge partially digging into the stone floor. "Do it!" She orders the hybrid.
Syntax stammers for a moment, nearly falling over. He pinwheels his arms, quickly regaining balance. "Ohh- Right!" He chuckled nervously, quickly pressing a few buttons on a gadget around his forearm.
Spider Bots begin to tear free from thier bright green eggs, falling to the ground going up to the surface.
Somewhere at the rooftop, MK calls the team for something important. Everyone all arrived in their pajamas and tired. "Alright kid, care to explain why you got us here at," Pigsy grumbled as he checked his watch. "3:00 in the morning?" He looked slightly angrily.
MK stood with his back to them, a look of excitement on her face. "I have gathered you all here, because I have unlocked my next mystic monkey power!" She announced.
"Really?! What is it, what is it, what is it!?" Mei begged.
"Teleportation? Cloud summoning? Flying!?" Tang asked excitedly.
"It's better than any of that! I've began to learn the Monkey King's 72 transformations!" She said.
Tang gasped, his inner fanboy coming out. "You mean the ancient art of transformation not even the wisest masters have been able to figure out!?" Tang shouted excitedly, smiling widely. "The ancient art that lets you transform into anything!? Becoming an eagle, a tiger or gorilla!? You have to show me this power!" He grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her excitedly.
"Tang stop it!" Pigsy scolded his husband.
"You got it!"
POOF!
There was a poof was yellow smoke, everyone coughed waving the stuff away. When it cleared up everyone looked down at the most cutest thing in the world.
Standing there was a cat version of MK.
"Oh...my...GOSH!"
"How cute!"
"Me-wow!~" Mo had hearts in his eyes.
"You're so cute!" Mei squealed, picking her up in her arms. "You were right! This is awesome!"
"Uh kid, This is more like less of a power and more of you goofing off." Pigsy stated. MK hopped out of Mei's arms and transformed back into human. "Okay, so I still have a lot to learn but it's good so far."
"Uh, MK...what is on your head?" Sandy asked, squinting his eyes for a closer glance. MK looks confused and feels at the top of her head.
"Eeek! Cat ears!" MK flailed her arms panicking. Mei tried to get MK to calm down but to no prevail.
"Um, I think you need to keep practicing on that, dear." Tang commented with a sweat-dropped.
Clank!
"Huh?"
Everyone is high alert at the sound of something cutting through metal, they leaned over the edge of the roof, they see spider drones using a laser to cut through the Pigsy's noodles sign on the side of the building and making off with it.
"My sign!" Pigsy cried out, saddened that his restaurant sign was gone. "Come back here!"
"Seriously? Spiders! When will this nightmare end!?" MK whimpered, she snapped out of it and hisses cat-like. "Get back here with that!" MK shouted, quickly shrinking herself and followed the tiny robots in the sewers.
She silently followed them into the Silken Web Cave. She stood on top of the pipes, watching quietly as multiple drones discarded metal and building what looked like a giant spider mech, like from when she took over the city on New Years.
"No, Spider Queen again!?" MK muttered.
"What do you mean there's not enough material yet!?" She demanded at Syntax, Goliath, and Huntsman.
"It's just--" Syntax tries to explain, rubbing the back of his head. "Without the venom, there's no way we can build as quickly as the last time!" He tries to reason. "The spider bots, my queen, they just need more time to—"
"I DON'T HAVE MORE TIME!" She hollered, getting into his face. "Don't you understand? This is it. This is the time we've got!"
"Y-yes but..."
"Get it done!" She ordered.
MK gasps in realization. "Spider Queen is rebuilding her Mech! Oh, no, no, no. This is bad. This is very bad!" She shuffled along the pipe as the demons talked, then she lost her footing and collapsed.
"Ow that hurt." She groaned, rubbing her behind. She looked up to see the Spider demons glaring menacingly at her, all green eyes glowing.
"Uh, hi...?" She grinned nervously, sweating a bit.
"Monkie Girl! You're the reason I'm in this mess!"
"Me? What the hell did I do!?"
"Everything! I'm gonna tear you apart!" She shouted, her and the other spider demons charging towards her. Quickly thinking, she grew back in size, golden smoke covered MK's whole body.
The spiders stumbled back, shocked by this sudden power. "Wha-What is this!?" Spider Queen questioned.
"Haha-haha! Behold the power of 72 transformations!" She cheered, As the smoke cleared, she looked at herself hoping she turned into something useful.
But it didn't.
She looked at herself to see she turned to some kind of cat demon; with cat ears again and...literal cats for hands.
"Mreow!? No! No! No! Come on, change back!" She huffed in frustration, summoning her staff with the kitty hands making it impossible to hold it correctly. "I'm still working out the kinks, how about we fight when I have hands? Kay' byeeeeeee!" She scurrying away into one of the sewer tunnels.
"Catch her and bring her to me!" Spider Queen ordered her minions as the spider demons quickly chased after her.
Once they passed, MK grinned and laughed quietly to himself as she shrunk down into a small spider. "Phew, that was close." She sighed in relief before looking at her spider body, making her gag in disgust.
"Ew ew ew! This is so gross!" She whined as she lowered herself onto ground finding a place to hide.
Meanwhile with the Lady Bone Demon, she was using her powers to create her own mech in defeating the Monkie Kid. Her hair briefly turned white and she heard the voice of Spider Queen echoing the room.
"Bring her to me...!"
Lady Bone Demon sighed in exasperation, she figured that sorry excuse for a queen would no longer become useful. "It would seem the queen's usefulness is drawing to an end," The Mayor appears behind her, ready to receive her orders.
"Do me a favor and remove the unnecessary pieces from the game."
The thrall smiled and gave a bow. "As you wish, my lady." He replied, the Mayor engulfing himself in light blue flames.
The little girl turned her attention back to the furnace with a confident smile. Then a familiar voiced echoes through the witch's head, making her groan and rub her head in frustration.
"Let me out, let me out of here!"
"Ugh, Annoying little pest."
Inside the mind of Bone Witch, Bai-He was busy trying to fight her way out her mind. She swung her staff, destroying the chains trying to stop her.
"Cmon is that all you got," She panted, clearly exhausted. "I can do this all day lady!"
Truthfully, she couldn't. She doesn't know how long she can keep this up. She was clearly exhausted and hasn't slept. Not that she could. Not to mention she's lost a bit of her complexion so she was pale.
Suddenly, the room turns dark and cold. The Lady Bone Demon has appeared behind her. "You just don't know when to quit, do you little girl?" She mocked.
Bai-He shrieked and stumbled back but kept her fighting stance, gripping her spiked cudgel.
"Shut up! You think you're so tough you old bony witch! Why don't you come closer and I'll slap that grin off your stupid face!" Bai-He shouts with confidence and venom in her tone.
"I'm not smiling..." Lady Bone Demon gave her a dry response.
"Just you wait, I'll get out of here and when—" She charged to attack her, but once again blue chains appeared from the ground and tied Bai-He's arms, legs and waist.
"NO! Let...me go!" She grunts, struggling against the cold binds.
"You poor little thing. You look so exhausted," She cupped her cheek, the little girl shuddered at her cold touch. "Why don't you...take a rest." She tapped her finger against her forehead. A surge of energy pulsed in her and she suddenly felt so tired.
And then everything went dark...
And with that he hunts down Spider Queen's minions. The first he targeted was Syntax.
"Blast! There's just not enough material. Not enough time. How does she honestly expects us to finish it?" He then pulls out his watch and starts typing away.
"Oooh, what a lovely contraption your building!"
Syntax gasped and slowly turns. He couldn't see the mayor behind him since he was right in front of him.
"But unfortunately my dear scientist, you're quite correct." An icy cold hand crushing the other's windpipe. Syntax gagged, trying to free himself.
"There is no time." The Mayor beamed his blinding smile. Syntax screamed which was echoed through the tunnels. Goliath and Huntsman heard it.
"What was that!?" Goliath asked, terrified.
"I don't know big guy," Huntsman gulped in fear. "But it didn't sound good."
Back with our protagonist, MK lowered herself back onto the ground seeing that the coast was clear for now. She changed back to normal and landed on her feet. "Okay, new rule. I'm never turning into a spider ever again." She shivered.
She shook her head, patting her cheeks. "Okay, girl, focus." She summoned her staff from her ear and stands in front of the mech, she lifted it above her head.
Just then the arachnid ruler entered the lair, witnessing the mortal about to destroy the mech.
"Wait, No!" The Spider Queen cried.
But it was too late as MK smashed the mech in half, roaring in anger, She pinned her by the neck against a rock as the smoke and dust cleared to reveal the destroyed spider mech.
'No..' Tears formed in her venomous green's eyes, before it turned to rage and glared at the teenager. "You... ruined everything! It's all over because of..."
"Her."
MK finished, her brown eyes widening in realization. She wasn't rebuilding her mech to take over the city again, she was...
"You were making that to fight her weren't you? The Lady Bone Demon."
"The Lady Bone Demon? I knew it. So it is her." She mumbled to herself, looking away mad yet terrified. She let go of MK, letting her fall to the ground. "Well if she wants to-"
"Yeah I know, she scares me too." MK cut in, grasping her throat.
"I ain't scared!" Spider Queen looked surprised before shaking it off, glaring at the mortal. "I'm the queen!"
"Please wait, I can help. M-Maybe If we work together we can—" MK tried to reason with her, with responded with Spider Queen laughing coldly.
"Hahahaha, I don't need help from a child! I will rule this world. And no ancient bone witch is going to stop me!" She aims her robotic leg at MK, she shields herself out of instinct. Then all of a sudden gold smoke surrounded her. As the smoke cleared, a large gorilla hand stopped the leg in its tracks.
"What is this!?"
"Yes! I'm finally getting the hang of this!" MK cheered, pulling the leg and flying her far away before charging at her, though she stopped when she saw the fear and sadness in the Queen's eyes.
Spider Queen coughs up dusts and collects herself before angrily shouts. "This...ain't over. I will rule, I am the—"
"Shut up! Just shut the F*k up with that already!" MK growled, her anger finally reaching its limit. "Look, I don't know exactly how you lost your throne, and frankly I don't give a damn! You talk about how you want to be respected but this clearly ain't it!!" MK yelled angrily towards the spider demoness.
"I was meant to rule. I...I would have been a good queen," Spider Queen whimpered as she slowly tried to push herself up. "I was just a pawn in the game. Like you."
MK sighed as she finally calmed down, kneeling down in front of her. "We all were...but it's not too late." she told her.
She scoffed, shaking her head. "Haven't you figured it out yet girl? There's no running from what she is."
"I don't believe that! If you wanna be the 'Respected Queen' you wish to be so badly, then help me defeat her, please?" She held her hand out, looked at her with pleading eyes. Spider Queen glanced away for a moment before looking back at her, she slowly held her hand out, seemingly looking like she was going to take it.
"I'm afraid that Spider Queen is right,"
The two turned as the wind stopped, Lady Bone Demon grinning widely as her hair glowed white and blew as if the wind was stop blowing it before quickly falling and fading back to a dark blue.
"Destiny will always catch up to us."
"You! I should have taken you out the second you walked into my lair!" The Spider Queen growls at her, she looked over her shoulder behind MK. "Get outta here, now!"
"Wait! I can help you-" She yelped as she was being strung up in webbing, the spider demoness glared down at her.
"I said Now!" With all her might she tossed her all the way back up into the surface. The queen's screams echoing through the caverns followed by blue light. Back to the surface, the explosion woke up the gang who was fast asleep on the roof, waiting for MK. They looked over the side of the building to see her laid out in the street.
"MK what happened?" Pigsy yelled down to her.
MK got up and turned to them with a panicked expression, tears in her eyes. "I...I..." Her eyes rolled in the back of her head as she passed out.
