Hello everyone. Bit of a short chapter this time since it's setting up the Cybertron arc of the story. I feel I should point this out now, I strongly recommend reading my side story Lessons Learned to give you a little more background as to this arc. Events that are covered in that stroy are referenced in the coming chapters. On a side note, I forgot to mention that I based Nemesis Primes' trailer upgrade on the Armada Super Optimus Prime only with a Unicron styled helmet. The idea was born out of a versus idea I had between G1 Power Master Optimus vs. Armada Super Optimus.
In any case, I hope you enjoy the chapter.
"End Program." The hologram of Rhinox dictated before shutting off. With a near silent click, the golden disk was ejected from Teletraan-2.
Retrieving it, Optimus Prime stared intently at the artifact. After receiving Vector Sigmas' message, he knew that time was running out before the final battle against the Decepticons and Unicron would commence. To that end, he consulted the golden disk to see if any aide could be found on Cybertron, as much of humanity was unwilling to help them for fear of Galvatrons' threat. While he did find potential help on the disk, he had another task to perform as well. Exiting the empty lab, Optimus knew what he had to do.
The original thirteen Primes were needed once more.
"Alright, explain this to me again." Ultra Magnus growled, resisting the temptation to rub at his optics. After Blitzwing had shown up at Autobot City, Magnus had insisted on being the one to interrogate the Decepticon triple changer. Surely the reports of the mechs mental instability were exaggerated right?
They were not.
"After I took off from zee Nemeziz." Blitzwing began with his blue face. "I journeyed around zis country for a vhile." His face switched to red before continuing. "Zen vee tried out for ze football!" He yelled. "I'd haff made zee team easy if zee coach didn't lubricate himself at the zight of me! Which is a pity, becauze I can play defense rather vell." He added black face coming around now.
"And then you went into hiding after that?" Magnus asked, not sure how much stock to put into Blitzwings' story.
"Yez, it was genius, no?" He laughed. "No one vould bozer me at zee military boneyard, who'd bozer junk?" Blitzwings' face spun back to red. "Zen zere vas zis voize in mien head telling me it vaz time and to come here!" He bellowed. "Which vaz razer crazy if you zink about it."
"Right." Ultra Magnus replied. Before he could continue the interview, the door to the room opened.
"I'm afraid I'm going to have to cut this short commander." Optimus began as he entered the interrogation room.
"Thank Primus." Magnus muttered to himself before standing up. "What is the matter sir?"
"I'll explain once everyone has assembled in the hangar." Optimus replied. "We're going to Cybertron."
Less than an hour later, the collective Autobots and Maximals (and Blitzwing) selected to go to Cybertron were gathered in the Autobot City hangar. Observing the collective troops, Optimus silently figured out which bots would need to go to where on Cybertron and for what. Moments later he began to speak.
"With recent events." Optimus began. "We now have reason to believe that Galvatron will move this war into its' endgame sooner rather than later. To that end, I am taking several groups to Cybertron to enlist possible aide and recover vital resources."
"Goldbug." Prime continued as he turned to look at the mech in question. "You shall take Strongarm, Sideswipe, Arcee and June to what is left of Paradon, the crystal city. We've recently learned from the golden disk that there is a dormant Insecticon hive within Scorponok. Your mission is to attempt to recruit them to our side."
"Considering my appearance." Goldbug replied, referring to his current helm and mask. "It isn't a bad idea."
"And I'm guessing I'm going as an enticement?" June asked. She didn't know how to feel about that if that were the case.
"Actually, I wanted you to go so as to show the Insecticons a new way forward. That they could both survive and thrive on Earth." Optimus explained with a smile. "The Scorponok hive is not like the one that served Megatron. They may be more willing to listen to reason."
June gave a nod in acceptance.
"The next team shall consist of Wheeljack, Ratchet, Whirl, Jetfire, Deathsaur and Slash." Optimus continued. "Their mission will be twofold. Your first objective is to locate the other Dinobots. We have not heard from them since the battle at Las Vegas."
"We're sure they survived?" Ultra Magnus asked without thinking. Drawing glares from everyone present.
"Any other bots, no." Slash bit out as she stepped up to Ultra Magnus. "But Dinobots are more than capable of surviving a fall from low orbit, especially when combined." She finished, giving the much taller mech a death glare. If they could handle a backhand from a titan, they could survive a fall.
"Allie, you're drooling." Sierra joked with her sister.
"Don't even." Allison whispered as she wiped the drool from her lip. Seeing her girlfriend be assertive had definitely pushed the right buttons for her.
"Right." Optimus continued, ignoring his second in commands' present discomfort. "This team's second objective is to try and locate Omega Supreme." While most of the Autobots who remained on Cybertron after the Ark launched had either left the planet or been terminated, the great guardian was not among either group and his whereabouts were completely unknown. It was fully possible he was still on the planet.
"The third and final team shall consist of Jack, Miko, Raf, Kibo, Smokescreen, Scourge, and myself." Prime continued. "Our mission shall be simple. We are going to seek out Vector Sigma and use it in an attempt to contact the last of the original Primes." He said simply.
A profound silence reigned at this announcement. A silence that unsurprisingly, was broken by Blitzwing.
"And Ver do I fit in zis Prime?" The triple changer asked.
"Seeing as you received the same message that I did, you shall be accompanying us." Optimus replied.
"Ooh, road trip!" Blitzwing cried out, his black face rotating around. "I call shotgun!"
"You want to leave that nutcase around the Maximals!" June and Ultra Magnus yelled.
"Dude, harsh." Whirl added.
"However." Optimus continued, keeping an eye on both objectors. "In addition to Scourge acting as bodyguard, Rung shall be accompanying us to help with him." He added, gesturing to the Autobots' resident psychiatrist.
"Understood Prime." Rung replied. In the back of his mind, however, he felt he had his work cut out for him.
"I need someone to watch my charges." Scourge interrupted. While inclusion in this meeting was a surprise, he wasn't expecting to be going off world.
"I'll look after them Scourge." Kup interjected, stepping out from the back of the group. While he would not be leaving Autobot City, his status as the head of security meant he had to attend this meeting.
Scourge nodded at the grizzled veteran Autobot. The few times he'd visited Autobot City with Drancron and Razorbeast he would invariably find his charges with Kup who regaled them with his old war stories. They couldn't get enough of them.
"Now that that's settled." Optimus addressed the group. "I want everyone who's going to Cybertron to meet here in two hours. Dismissed." As the various people left to make their preparations, Optimus stopped Jack Miko and Raf.
"Hold on you three." Prime began. "Before we leave, there is one more matter to attend to. In addition, we have one more member of our group to recruit." He hadn't wanted to say who for fear of how they'd react.
"We do?" Miko asked.
"Who?" Jack finished.
In fortress Maximus' detention block, two cell doors opened.
"Ah, finally." Starscream groaned as he exited his cell. "I was starting to go insane from boredom."
"Speak for yourself." Knockout griped as he exited next to the aerospace commander. "I was enjoying the reprieve from your incessant whining." He looked over at Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus, who were watching them closely.
"I appreciate the hospitality, but I have an appointment with the buffer that you confiscated when we were brought here." The Decepticon medic continued. "Where is it?"
"Through there." Ultra Magnus groused, pointing at an open storeroom door. He wasn't happy about having to release these two.
"Much obliged." Knockout saluted as he entered the storeroom. "Wait, what are you doing here?" He asked to an unseen corner of the room as the door began to close."
"Remember." Magnus called out. "No guns, no swords, and nothing that First-Aid can't undo."
"No problem." Magnaboss called as the door kept closing. There was an ominous sound of knuckles cracking.
"No!" Knockout cried. "Not the finis." He was cut off as the door shut and several muted thuds were heard. It had been a hard sell, but allowing the three to take their vengeance on Knockout seemed a fair price to pay for cooperating with the Decepticon aerospace commander.
Starscream gulped. "So, I take it I'm going to have an appointment with the med bay soon?" He asked.
"No." Optimus answered as he stepped forward.
"Prime." Starscream simpered. "Love the new look."
"Enough." Prime cut him off. "We require your services."
"Which ones? I have several."
"You were raised by the famed explorer Cryak, correct?" Ultra Magnus asked.
"Yes, what of it?" Starscream bit out. His relationship with his parent was complicated at best. While she was a loving and caring parent when she was around, she spent more time away on expeditions than with him.
"She taught you her skills as an explorer?" Magnus asked.
"What do you want?" He snapped at the Autobot commander.
"We plan to venture into Cybertron to locate Vector Sigma." Optimus supplied, sensing the Decepticons' discomfort with the topic of his mother. "To do so, we require the skills you learned."
"And what is in it for me?" Starscream asked. Having already lost everything, he couldn't help but find himself curious. "I'm not saying I can't do it, but what's my motivation?"
"Your freedom for a start." Ultra Magnus offered.
"And?"
"The chance to do the one thing Cryak couldn't." Magnus continued. "Find one of the original thirteen Primes."
This gave Starscream pause. One of his mothers' fondest goals was to meet one of the remaining Primes. She'd even mentioned it in her memoirs. The chance to do what she could not was a tempting offer. He couldn't help but wonder though.
"Why?"
"Because the endgame of this war is coming." Optimus answered. "Unicron has, as you know, taken control of the Decepticons via Galvatron. He plans to restore his body, this world, and from there, he will head for Cybertron." He finished Ominously.
Starscream stared at the two in shock. While he knew Galvatron had a habit of using dark energon, he hadn't counted on the chaos bringer to be pulling the strings of Megatrons' replacement. Closing his optics, Starscream took a breath, this wasn't about factions and ideologies anymore.
One of the few things he had inherited from Cryak was a deep love for his home world. He'd originally joined the Decepticons because at the time, he felt their attempts to change the system were what was best for Cybertron. Admittedly, he let that fall by the wayside during the war, but slag it, he would not allow the planet to be destroyed now. Especially now that he'd learned it may be inhabitable again.
"I'm in." Starscream confirmed as the storeroom door opened. The aerospace commander couldn't help wincing at the sight of Knockouts twitching arm in the doorway as Magnaboss exited the room. Knockout was groaning in pain behind them.
Optimus looked at the Maximal trio as they separated.
"We're ready."
In a private chamber in the Luxor hotel in Las Vegas, Galvatron and Nemesis Prime were going over the specifics for the formers mission to Cybertron.
"While your main goal is to enslave Chela and Scorponok for our final assault." Nemesis Prime began. "I do expect you to attempt to acquire any other assets you find. I have reason to believe an Insecticon hive still exists near their king." He turned to look Galvatron in the optic. "If they will not join us, destroy them."
"Understood." Galvatron confirmed. Perhaps if he played his cards right, he could fake a demise and enlist their aid subtly. A properly motivated Insecticon hive would be an equal match for unfeeling Vehicon drones. "Do you wish us to capture our targets consecutively or concurrently?"
"Concurrently." Nemesis Prime answered. "Tarantulas will be fully operational in less than a day. It will take him a few days to build the required seeders and I want two titans to assist Trypticon with our assault on our enemies at the very least." He turned to look out the window at the Mecha formed city.
"We shall launch the dark energon seeders into my body in several places where the rock shell is at its' weakest." Nemesis continued. "One of which is where the Primes' fortress currently sits."
"And three titans are better than one." Galvatron surmised. "Very well, I shall give the orders now." As he turned to leave, Nemesis grabbed his shoulder and turned him around.
"Do not think to betray me Galvatron." He warned. "Any further attempts at treachery, and your existence is forfeit. I can make another Anti-Prime."
"Of course, master." Galvatron replied before exiting the chamber. While he may have had to play the role of servant here, with several light years between him and Unicron, he could lay the foundation of a rebellion against him.
Looking out over the assembled Predacons and Decepticons, he noted the only ones missing were the Vehicon generals. However, as they were currently producing enough cannon fodder for a global assault, this was to be expected. Predictably, there was some squabbling amongst the ranks.
"Alright, enough." Galvatron called, silencing the group. "It is time, we are going to Cybertron." There was a cheer from the troops before Galvatron continued. "Our mission is to recall the titans Scorponok and Chela to our cause, and to eliminate any Autobots who may stand in our way."
"And what makes you think we're going to help you with that?" Onslaught called thought the Cy-gar in his mouth. While not religious by any means, he didn't like the idea of forcing the Titans into serving a megalomaniac.
Galvatron glared at the assembled Combaticons, his optics and matrix flashed before the five began collapsing in pain. Onslaught had forgotten that he and his team were still infused with dark energon, and therefore susceptible to the Dark Matrix.
"That." Galvatron replied smugly. "Now, your assignments are as follows. The Predacons shall follow me to Tarn where we shall raise Scorponok." He decided to take a wait and see approach about whether there'd be Insecticons.
"Onslaught." He continued, turning to look at the now recovered Combaticons. "You and your team shall accompany the Horrorcons to Paradon and secure a route to Chela. After I've acquired Scorponoks' aid, I shall enslave her as well." It was harder to tell which team was more upset with this assignment, but neither desired to incur Galvatrons' wrath. For now, at any rate.
"We only have a few days to execute our assignments." Galvatron continued before a spacebridge opened behind the group. "If you fail, I shall begin ordering executions. Yes." He added ominously.
"Now go!"
Back in Autobot City, the collective Autobots and Maximals were preparing to depart for Cybertron.
"Okay you two." Scourge addressed his charges. "Please behave for Kup while I'm gone."
"Don't worry Scourge, we will." Drancron replied eagerly.
"Yeah, besides, Kups' stories are great." Razorbeast added.
"Alright lads, let's get ready for patrol." Kup laughed. It did his old spark good to see younglings so enthusiastic. "Did I tell you two about the maneuver we pulled off of Regulon four?" He asked the two young Predacons as they followed him out of the hangar.
Scourge smiled as he watched them go. He knew they'd be safe.
Inside the Axalon, the Maximals were preparing to take off.
"Ohh, can we go to lightspeed?" Miko asked. "I always wanted to try that."
"Actually." TA-I replied, looking at Miko. "We can go faster than lightspeed."
"...Ludicrous speed?"
"Actually." Raf interjected. "The new Transwarp drive should get us to Cybertron in about an hour."
"How does that work?" Jack asked as he and Kibo looked up from the star charts in front of them.
"To put it simply commander." TA-I picked up where Raf left off. "The driver uses the gravity wells of stars to slingshot us to our destination via warp space. This also has the side effect of cutting our travel time down drastically so the several hundred years spent traveling at the speed of light, is cut down to just under an hour."
"Thank you, TA-I.," Raf nodded towards hologram.
"No problem cutie." TA-I winked at Raf, causing him to blush amid snickers.
"I, think I'll go check the drive before takeoff." Raf muttered before exiting the bridge.
"I still don't understand why we don't use the spacebridge?" June asked as she climbed onto the Axalon. Optimus followed behind her in his own Maximal body. He'd call the rest of his body to him once on Cybertron.
"If we bridged directly to Cybertron, it would give away that we were off world." Optimus explained. "Thereby letting Galvatron know we're vulnerable."
"Whereas bridging to an Autobot City remote bridge on the ship would only register as going from one end of Autobot City to the other." TA-I finished.
"I understand." June said. In reality, she didn't. While she may be a hybrid alien robot now, it didn't mean she understood everything about it. She barely understood how her new body worked at this point.
"Our other four passengers have boarded Prime." TA-I reported. Blitzwing, Starscream, Scourge and Rung had boarded into the storage area of the Axalon that hadn't been converted into Maximal hab suites. Silently, she wished Rung luck on what would be a mother of a road trip.
"Right." Optimus nodded before looking out the door at Ultra Magnus and Rodimus. "The two of you are in charge of Autobot City for the time being. Should Galvatron mobilize, have Blaster radio for our return."
"Understood Prime, and good luck." Rodimus replied as the door sealed itself shut.
As the Axalon rose into the air, TA-I gave off the countdown.
"Transwarp shunt occurring in three, two, one." The ship gave a brief jerk forward before the blue sky was replaced by a psychedelic kaleidoscope of colors. "Shunt into warp space complete." TA-I announced. "Estimated travel time, fifty-seven minutes. Time to arrival, five minutes."
"Wait, what?" Miko and June asked simultaneously. How could they travel for an hour only to arrive at their destination five minutes after takeoff?
"Theory of relativity." Raf explained, having snuck back onto the bridge and was now enjoying the visuals.
"Never mind." Miko said, holding her hands up in surrender. She went up to the viewscreen of the bridge and looked at the swirling colors, enjoying the view. Jack walked up next to her and gently put an arm on her shoulder. Smiling, Miko pulled him in closer as Kibo came near them.
Looking around the bridge, Miko saw Optimus and June holding hands and looking out the window. She also saw that TA-I had convinced Raf to have a seat next to her and they were enjoying the show as well. Realizing that all their attention was on the spectacle of warp space, Miko whispered to Jack.
"Wanna find the captains' quarters?" She asked with a sly grin that gave Jack goosebumps. Realizing what his girlfriend had in mind, and realizing that everyone was preoccupied, he nodded and the two of them quietly snuck off the bridge.
Back on Earth, Megatron and Shockwave were having a heated debate.
"I'm telling you this is a good idea." Shockwave argued as he worked on Megatrons' new body.
"Being able to split into three alt modes at once yes." Megatron replied. "But beast modes?"
"The pseudo flesh will protect you from dark energon." Shockwave countered. "Besides, beast modes are becoming all the rage these days." At Megatrons' annoyed look, he cocked his head. "Don't forget, you started the Decepticon movement for equality. This is a good way to practice what you preach."
Megatron scowled at the ground. He really didn't have an argument for that.
"Alright." Shockwave continued. "I'm going to put you in stasis while I graft the new framework onto your torso. When you wake up, you should be able to walk and get used to your new proportions. At Megatrons' nod, Shockwave rendered his leader unconscious. Turning to get the parts he needed, he got the shock of his long life.
"Hai!" Tarantulas yelled, causing Shockwave to jump.
"You?!" Shockwave exclaimed. It was impossible, if Tarantulas was here, the he should be. "Wait a minute." He muttered to himself before stepping through the Predacon mad scientist.
"I'm here, but not all there." Tarantulas laughed.
"Truer words." Shockwave sniped.
"Oh, I may be out of my mind at the moment." The scientist continued. "But I'm put together enough to look into my favorite slaves' mind, and once my body has reassembled enough, I should be able to retrieve you four easily."
"It looks like I'm on a time limit then." Shockwave said plaintively before getting back to work on Megatron. All the while, he was attempting to block out Tarantulas' taunting.
"Well as much as you've enjoyed your vacation senator, your work is piling up."
"I have a way to stop you from controlling me again." Shockwave responded, shocking Tarantulas.
"You do? How?"
"It's a surprise." Shockwave taunted his tormentor before getting back to work.
Five minutes after the Axalon departed, Blaster received the alert that they had arrived on Cybertron.
"Alright you cats and chicks headed to Cybertron." Blaster called over the comms. "The shuttle as just arrived and the spacebridge remote will be operational in moments."
Arcee shook her head Shockwave may've been twisted, but one couldn't deny his brilliance. Traveling from Earth to Cybertron in an hour as opposed to the thousands of years it took the Ark to make the journey. To be fair though, she doubted they stopped on any other worlds on the way.
A moment later the spacebridge emerged before the assembled group. The moment it was fully formed, Optimus' larger body activated and drove through the portal to rejoin the rest of him. Taking this as a sign, the other Autobots followed suit. Emerging through the other side, the group set foot on Cybertron for what was (for some of them) the first time since the Ark launched.
While the planet looked far more alive than when she and Jack were there last, the scars from the war still remained. All around them were demolished buildings and craters from bomb blasts but the largest reminder, was the inert body of Metroplex lying across half the city. It took Arcee a second to realize they appeared just outside of Iacon. Looking over at the Axalon, she noticed something else.
"Mach Hoof?" She asked, seeing the unicorn Maximal standing near Optimus and June. "How did you get here?"
"We found her hiding in the captains' quarters." Jack said stiffly. She had made herself known right as he and Miko had begun to make out. Needless to say, the mood was ruined.
"I wanted to help Slash." Allison argued.
"Oh, she pulled a Miko." Smokescreen commented while looking at Jack. This caused Miko to look at him too.
"Pulled a Miko?" She asked, looking at her boyfriend with narrowed eyes.
"Yeah, like when he followed me through the spacebridge not long after I arrived on Earth." Smokescreen explained. Jack gave an audible gulp at the disappointed look his mother gave him. However, as he turned to apologize to Miko she wrapped her arm around his shoulder and gave him a noogie.
"I'm so proud." She exclaimed as she dug her knuckles into his scalp.
"Autobots." Optimus interrupted, having recombined with the rest of his body not long after arriving. "You have your assignments. Before we mobilize, I have one matter to attend to. Goldbug step forward."
"Sir?" Goldbug asked as he stepped up to Prime.
"Goldbug, as a scout you have conducted yourself admirably in battle and stared danger in the face multiple times." Optimus began. "As such, I hereby promote you the rank of warrior. In addition, I grant you the title of team leader." There were cheers from the assembled group as Goldbug bowed before Optimus Prime in both gratitude and embarrassment.
"I shall do my best sir." Goldbug mumbled.
"I have no doubt of that soldier." Optimus nodded before turning to the rest of the group.
"Autobots, roll out!"
After watching the other teams depart and electing to allow Mach Hoof to stay on Cybertron, Optimus turned to look at his group.
"So, where do we start this little expedition?" Starscream asked. He was eager to begin. Additionally, he was eager to keep as much distance as possible between himself and the others who rode with him in the Axalon. The trip was one hour that couldn't pass soon enough for him. And if he ever heard the words 'I spy' again, it'd be too soon.
"You never did zee vhat I zpied Starscream." Blitzwing commented before his black face rotated to blue. A low growl from Scourge dissuaded him from pursuing that line of questioning."However, I believe zee game is now on hold."
"To answer your question Starscream, we need to get below the surface, and the nearest way there is through there." He said, pointing to a building that was partially covered by Metroplex' leg. Now that he was closer to the dead titan, Optimus saw that it looked like something had been stripping parts from it.
"Seriously?" Starscream and Smokescreen both asked. They both recognized the building, having visited it before.
"You mean there's an entrance to the Cybertron underground in Macadams Old Oil House?" Starscream asked. In all the years he'd been a patron of the famous bar, he never knew that fact.
"Down in the basement." Optimus answered as he knocked on the door to the bar. A moment later, the door opened, revealing a somewhat rotund mech wearing glasses.
"Sorry, we're closed." The mech said and attempted to shut the door before Optimus stopped him.
"Apologies for the intrusion Macadam." Optimus apologized. "We simply wish to use the underground access in your basement." He explained.
"You're Macadam?" Smokescreen asked. He'd never met the mech himself but as he cycled through his memory of the staff, he realized he had seen him. "You were the piano player?"
Shaking his head, Macadam opened the door to his bar.
"Alright, come in, come in." He sighed. "I'll get you all something to drink."
"Nothing intoxicating please." Optimus intoned, looking specifically at the maximals. He wasn't about to incur June's wrath for letting the Maximals into the hard drink.
"Virgin mocktails for the earthlings." He said, as he pulled down some glasses and began to pour.
"How did you know where we're from?" Raf asked as the barkeep pushed a cherry smelling drink towards him.
"You three have a human look to you." Macadam explained. "I actually spent some time on Earth a few thousand years ago." he added as he finished pouring the last of the drinks. "Humans really know how to war and how to party, but some reason they kept calling me Dionysus."
"We thank you for letting us through here Macadam." Optimus interrupted after downing a single shot of half strength Engex.
"Not a problem." He said as he pushed drinks towards Blitzwing and Starscream. "Just remember, no fighting in here."
"You needn't remind me." Starscream pointed out. The one time the bar owner had to break up a fight was convincing enough. He had no idea the short old mech turned into something so large.
"Remind me to ask you for the recipe for this drink. Arcee and my mom would like it." Jack asked. Whatever this orange and mint concoction was, he could easily call it addicting. He'd already downed his glass. Considering the two flavors generally went together like cats and water, that was quite a feat.
"So long as you tell Arcee to pay off her tab next time she's here." Macadam replied. "I swear that femme can drink her weight in Engex." Jack looked at the bartender wide eyed at that nugget of information.
"Thank you again for your hospitality." Optimus repeated as the rest of the expedition finished their drinks. "Is the entrance to the underground uncovered?"
"It should be next to the Nightmare Fuel cases." Macadam replied, pointing to a nearby staircase.
"Shame we couldn't have the hard stuff." Smokescreen commented. He'd always wanted to try that.
"Alright team, let's move out." Optimus interrupted. "Starscream take point."
"Pity we didn't bring a proper scout." The seeker grumbled.
"Vell, you know vat zey say Starscream." Blitzwing commented. "Ven expecting ze booby traps."
"Always send a boob in first." Miko laughed. "Wrecker rule seventy-seven." This caused the other members of the group to laugh as well.
"Let's just go." Starscream groused as he started down the stairs. He didn't like being referred to as a boob.
As the last of the group descended the stairs, Optimus turned to look at their host with a raised brow. From his position at the bar, Alchemist Prime, better known as Macadam smiled at his brother and whispered a single sentence.
"We'll catch up."
Nodding, Optimus Prime followed the group down into his brothers' basement and then into the Cybertronian underground.
A/N: And here we are. I hope you enjoyed this chapter, short as it was. I have a lot of surprises set for the coming chapters so I won't say to much more here for fear of spoilers. I'll see you all next time and until then fave, follow and review.
Next Time: Dungeons and Dinobots.
