I couldn't help but smile. I could never love hearing that name when it comes from her mouth. I looked at her. Standing here with her. Having Tris know everything now. It just felt perfect. It just felt right.

"We should be heading back. Before everyone starts wondering where we went off to." She said to me.

I didn't want to head back. But I know we had to. Reality had to come back and find us. We then headed back to them. When we got back, everyone was looking at us. I just walked past them like it was nothing.

*Tris' POV*

I went to take a quick shower before the girls came and attacked me with questions. When I got done and changed, I saw Four standing there. I have let my friends use my bathroom to shower or clean up. I gave him a small smile.

"It's all yours." I said.

"Thanks." He said.

He went in and shut the door behind him. I headed downstairs where everyone else was. I saw Chris, Lauran, and Myra waiting there for me. They were waiting to question me about what happened with me and Four.

"So, that was a long run?" Chris said to me.

"Yeah. It was. Just lost track of time." I told her.

"Sure." Lauran said sarcastically. I know she probably didn't believe me. But I didn't care if they did or didn't. I will talk to them about it later. When it's just us girls.

So, a lot has happened since that day. Four and I have been by each other, except when the girls steal me away. Those are Chris's words, not mine. But I do love being beside him. Christmas is getting close. Indeed, it is about two days away.

I am so ready for it. I have been shopping for a while now. I don't like doing last-minute shopping. I think that is horrible. So, I never do it. I always make sure I have everything done and ready. I am currently relaxing in the living room on the window seal.

"Hey, are you busy right now?" I hear behind me. I turned to see Four standing there.

"No. Why?" I asked him.

"Good. I have something planned for us. The girls are waiting for you in your room to help you get ready." He told me.

I looked at him. He has something planned for us. What does he have planned for us? It makes sense now why I haven't seen him all day. I gave him a look but headed up to my room. I opened my door to see Lauran, Chris, and Myra there. They helped me get ready for this mystery date. I was nervous and excited. I kept asking the girls questions, but no one would answer.

"Tris, can you just be excited for a surprise for once in your life." Lauren said, smiling.

"I can try, but I do not do well with surprises. But I trust Four and know that he won't hurt me." I stated.

"So, have you found his present yet? You said you were having difficulty figuring out what to get him." Chris asked.

I shook my head. I said I was always ahead of the game, but when it came to Four, I did not know what to get him. But now that I know him for who he is, I think I have a few ideas on what to get him.

"Kind of, but I want it to be special and personal for him. Do you think I am just making a big deal out of nothing?" I asked the girls.

"Of course not. I know you mean a lot to Four, and he is doing something special for you, but I am not allowed to say anything. But he would love anything from you that you put your heart and soul into it. I am sure he will love it." Lauren stated.

I nodded and knew that Lauren meant it. I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror. I like how the girls did my hair and makeup. They put it in light waves and then put that in a half ponytail. It looked nice. My makeup was light, and you could barely tell it was on. I smiled at them and thanked them. They, indeed, were great friends.

"Alright, you are done. He is waiting for you downstairs. Have a great time." Myra said.

"Just don't do anything I wouldn't do." Lauren said with a wink.

I just shook my head and headed downstairs. Everyone may think of Lauren as this scary, mean, troubled girl, but she has a sweet and playful side that only a few see. I turned the corner to see Four sitting there waiting for me. He looked outstanding in his jeans and leather jacket. How he is never cold, I will never know. But damn, does he look good.

"Ready?" He asked, taking my hand.

"Of course. Let go." I said.

We headed out. He took my hand and led me away. We walked for a bit. I didn't know where we were going or what was planned. He then led me to Granny's Café. I looked at him, confused. Granny's Café is closed; what are we doing here. He smiled at me and took me to the back door.

"What are we doing here?" I asked, confused.

"You will see." He told me.

*Four's POV*

I took her to Granny's Café. I wanted to do something special for her. I wanted her to see that she means a lot to me. So, I brought her here to show her that. I took her into the kitchen and led her to a stool.

"I brought you here to show you how much you mean to me. I wanted to do something special for you." I told her.

"Then why are we here?" She asked me.

"I am going to cook for you." I told him.

"You are going to cook for me. Really? That is so sweet of you. So, what am I in store for?" She asked me to smile.

"An amazing meal. Now take a seat, and I will get to work." I told her.

She sat on the stool back there to watch me and be comfortable. I then started to cook. I was thinking about cooking Spicy Mango Sweet Potato Chicken. It was one of the meals I was taught to make in this kitchen.

She sat there watching me cook. She then got up from her seat and came over to me. She was standing there watching my every move. She had this smile that could light up the whole world. It is a gorgeous smile.

"It smells amazing. You haven't told me what we are having." She told me.

"It's called Spicy Mango Sweet Potato Chicken. Have a taste." I told her, offering her a spoon.

"That tastes amazing. It sounds amazing. I can't wait for more." She told me.

*Tris's POV*

When Four finished cooking, he took me to the table in front and brought me something to drink. He put him down, too. He then went to get our plates of food. He came back to me. He put our food down. He sat down and crossed me. I looked around the place. It looks amazing. He really went all out for me.

We sat there and ate in pleasant silence. It was the silence that wasn't awkward or anything. We were talking without words. I keep smiling at Four. He just keeps smiling at me. We talked for a little bit. When it was late, we cleaned up and ensured everything was good. We then headed back to my place. But I stopped in my footsteps.

"What's wrong?" He asked me when he realized that I stopped.

"This night is perfect. You showed me that I am someone special to you. I want to prove that you are special and mean a lot to me." I told him.

I then faced him. I had to get on my tippy toes because he was slightly taller than me. I did the one thing I wanted to do but was too scared to do. I then kissed him on the lips. I pulled away and looked at him. He then pulled me close again and kissed me back. It was a passionate kiss.

The time I have spent with Four is fantastic. He does treat me right. He makes me feel special. I am so happy to spend this holiday with him and my friends. I feel like this is going to be the best Christmas ever.

I woke up early that morning. I wanted to help my mother the best I could. I always woke up early to help her make Christmas break. Now we have more mouths to feed. She will definitely need the help. I got out of Four's arms. I smiled at him and then headed upstairs.

"Morning, Mom. Merry Christmas." I told her.

"Morning, sweetheart. Merry Christmas." She told me.

We then went right into our morning cooking routine for Christmas. We have been doing this forever, so it has become second nature. After a few minutes, we heard voices and footsteps. I then saw Four and the others coming into the kitchen.

Christmas was fantastic, as I knew it was going to be. Everyone loved their gifts. I expertly loved the gift that Four gave me. He got me a beautiful necklace with a heart charm on it. Inside, it is engraved 46. I wear it constantly.

We were heading back to school today. I don't think my mother was ready to let me go back. I think she liked having us all around. But we must return. I am kind of prepared to return. I want to get back. I will miss my mother, but I will always stay in contact with her.

After my mother and Austin's mother dropped us off, we said our goodbyes. We headed to our rooms. I went to the room I shared with Chris. But I know most of my things will end up back in Four's room.

"So, I have to ask." Chris said.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Am I going to have the room all myself now that you and Four together?" She asked me.

"No. You are not going to get rid of me that easily." I told her.

We couldn't help but laugh. We then went to the pit to see everyone. Recontact with the people we haven't seen in a while. Also, we hung out with our friends who came with us. We are so like a family here.

*Four's POV*

I went to my room first to put my bag down. Then I have to go meet up with Max to catch up and see how everything is going to go. Hopefully, I will get some time to talk with Tris. But I know I will get time to be with her. She will have most of her things in my room by the end of the week anyway.
