We're back on chapter thirty-two.

At City Hall, Varrick and Zhu Li were walking to the Presidential office to talk to President Raiko.
"Zhu Li, everything is in place, yes?"
"Yes, sir." Zhu Li answered.
"Good." Varrick said. "Now, if we try to convince the President to change his mind and send the troops to the South, Korra will have enough time to be a god."
Then, Varrick and Zhu Li heard laughter in the office.
"La, da, da, da, da, da"
"Poor thing, poor dear"
"I can finally get what I want"
"And that's music to my ear"
Varrick and Zhu Li looked through the door a little opened. They see Raiko dancing in some kind of victory.
"What a great and mighty king I'll make"
"Oh, how I look divine"
"Things are working out according to my ultimate design"
Raiko grabbed a prawn and ate it. Varrick and Zhu Li did not know what had gotten into the President.
"Soon I'll have little Korra"
"And the whole world will be mine!"
The laughing Raiko walked to his mirror and the mirror shows the refection of Sarlaq.
Varrick and Zhu Li were shocked at Raiko's true form. "The warlock!"
Raiko transformed into his true form as Sarlaq while still laughing.
"And at last, I'll live the life that I have longed for"
"All the godhood of the great infinity"
"Not to mention, by the way"
"The huge universe"
"I love rule it all as a deity"
Sarlaq jumped on the desk in his moment of triumph.
"As for that young Avatar"
"She's now my weapon"
"I'd employ delicious terror by turning them into trolls"
"And enjoy sadistic pleasures from the tropics to the poles"
"And, oh, boy, I'll finally achieve myself with my goals"
"With the poor"
"And"
"YOUNG AVATAAAAAAARRRRR!"
He laughed evilly as he was transformed back into his Raiko disguise. Varrick and Zhu Li turned away and ran from the door.
"The President is the warlock." Zhu Li said while running.
"Oh, no. He's gotta… We've gotta… We've gotta tell Mako." Varrick said while running.
"Yes, sir." Zhu Li agreed.
"I hope we're not too late." Varrick prayed.
Meanwhile, at Republic City, at prison where Mako was being kept with police airships flying overhead, Mako was inside his cell sitting on his bed. The cell door opens suddenly by a guard.
"You've got visitors." he said.
Bolin and Asami enters the cell.
"Mako!" he said while running in the cell and hugs his brother.
"Bolin? Asami? What are you doing here?" Mako asked.
"We believe you, Mako!" Bolin said. "We know you would never do such a thing to Asami."
"What is going on, Mako?" Asami asked. "Who would want to frame you?"
"I have a hunch someone we might know did this." Mako said.
"Mako! Mako!"
The trio heard a voice. It was Varrick and Zhu Li entering the cell. They panted for a minute after the running.
"Mako…" Varrick panted. "We were about to have a meeting with President Raiko. I… Of course we were having a meeting with President Raiko."
Mako, Bolin and Asami had no idea what Varrick was talking about.
"We were gonna change his mind, and have him send the fleet the South Pole. But we saw… the-the plot. The President was singing and dancing. He was looking at himself in the mirror, and his reflection doesn't even match his face!"
Mako, Bolin and Asami were very confused to understand what Varrick was on about. Varrick grabbed Asami by the arms with fear in his eyes.
"Do you hear what I'm telling you?!" he asked hysterically.
"The President is really the warlock in disguise!" Varrick and Zhu Li shouted in union.
And finally, Mako, Asami and Bolin were shocked to hear that President Raiko was really Sarlaq in disguise.
"I knew it!" Mako said. "He framed me!"
"Wait, are you sure about this?" Bolin asked.
"Have I ever been wrong?" Varrick asked. "I mean when it's important."
"Sarlaq is behind the whole scheme. He wanted Republic City to go to war with the Northerners so he could take over the Water Tribes." Mako said. "I knew it for sure. He used his magic to steal Varrick's equipment."
"And mine." Asami said. "And he's using Korra for his plans."
"And I let him by telling him about Korra's stunt the other day." Mako said in shame. "It's all my fault."
"What are we gonna do?" Bolin asked.
"We have to stop Sarlaq." Mako said.
"But how? He's so powerful." Asami said.
"We have to do something, Asami." Mako said. "He played me. He played Korra."
"He played both of us." Bolin said. "So what do we do now? Varrick?"
Varrick was thinking of a plan to expose Sarlaq. Then something had popped into his head.
'I've got it! Tonight is the big finale for 'Nuktuk: Hero of the South.' Yeah, everyone's gonna be there, even the President." Varrick said. "Here's what we can do."
The group were listening to Varrick's plans.
Meanwhile, at Wolf Cove. Rebels were the capital city from atop a nearby mountain.
"Should we wait another day? Korra still might come with reinforcements." the rebel leader said.
"We can't wait any longer. It's time to take back what is ours! It's time to take back our city!" Tonraq said.
"Yeah!" the rebels cheered.
Rebels bend sheets of ice on which they slide down the mountain. A Northern Water Tribe soldier in a nearby watchtower notices them and rings a warning bell. Northern reinforcements were being mobilized.
Team Avatar discovers Raiko's true identity as Sarlaq. What plan to defeat him has hatched into Varrick's mind?
