Here is the redo for my Persona 5 Story. In this story, a female Pokemon Trainer from Alola, who just wants answers about her past, accidentally breaks the barrier between the two worlds and starts flooding the other world with Pokemon. Luckily she made some friends to help her and they need her help to steal some hearts.

21. Chapter 18

Chapter 18; The Time Between

Location; Velvet Room

The night after the heist of Madarame's Treasure. Ren found himself in the Velvet Room. Once he got up and grabbed the door of his cell, Igor said to Ren. "You have expelled one who was stained in vanity. You are now one step closer to your rehabilitation. It's a delightful thing indeed."

"Our master is pleased. You should be honored, Inmate." Justine said to Ren. Then Igor said to Ren. "However, that man's remarks are concerning. It seems another has made their way into the Metaverse."

"Do you know who it could be?"

"That is beyond my knowledge… But your rehabilitation is progressing smoothie… That is certain. May the devotion to your rehabilitation grow even deeper. I have high hopes for you." Igor said before the bell rang and Ren returned back to reality

Location; Shujin Academy, Aoyama-Itchome

While watching for the heart change, they started to do a lot of things. First was that the school finally made Ren, Ann, and Ryuji all go talk with Maruki after school was over. Aqua would be at a later time, because Maruki hadn't got to the third years yet. The first one was Ren, who ran into Maruki and Yoshizawa. "Ah, hello." Yoshizawa said to Ren and Ren said to her. "Hello."

"Are you here for a session as well?"

"That's right. Do you have one too?"

"Yes, that's right. Dr. Maruki is a wonderful counselor. I've actually been seeing him for a while, before he ever came to Shujin."

"Oh? I didn't know you two were acquainted. Don't go overselling me too hard though, Yoshizawa-san— I'm really nothing special." Maruki said to them. Yoshizawa then said to them. "Well, I need to get going. Please excuse me." Yoshizawa then left them and Ren had his session with Maruki. Maruki had learned of Ren's past and was impressed that Ren was able to reconned the world after an experience like that. Ren was glad to hear that and then the session ended.

After Ren's turn, it was Ann's turn. During their sanction, Ann only talked about how she still felt bad for what had happened to Shiho and how she knew letting Kamoshida die wouldn't be justified. Maruki was impressed by her wisdom and level-headedness. Ann thought Maruki was just over exaggerating, but he wasn't. He thought Ann was wiser and had a higher level of maturity then he was at her age. He then asked her what she would do in the future. Ann responds by saying that once Shiho was up for it they would hang out and try to have fun again. Maruki said that was a healthy outlook and it was good to move towards the future.

After Ann's turn, it was Ryuji's turn. Ryuji wasn't very happy to be having a counseling session, and Markui understood that. So instead of treating this like an interrogation, Markui treated it like a chat between two friends. I worked, and Ryuji was more open to Markui. They did talk about Ryuji's old track dream, and while it's all in the past now, Maruki hoped that Ryuji's old dream did Ryuji some good. Once their section was over, Ryuji felt like Markui was a cool guy and not like the crappy teachers he usually dealt with.

Location; Inokashira Park

Later that week, Shujin Academy did a clean up of Inokashira Park. On the way there, and after Ren switched his school clothes for his gym clothes. Ren saw the girl with red hair from his school talking to a slimy middle aged man. Ren got closer and heard the girl say. "Sorry, but I'm in a bit of a hurry."

"You go to Shujin, right? I heard things have been rough there lately, what with that violent incident. You wanna go talk about it somewhere?"

"Thank you for your concern. However, I really am in a hurry, so if you'd excuse me…" The girl said before trying to leave. However, the guy grabbed her arm and said. "C'mon, there's no need to be shy."

"Like I said…" The girl said, trying to break free. It didn't work, and the man said to her. "If you're busy, I'll put my number in your phone so you can call me later. Sounds like a plan?"

"Stop it…" The girl said and even thought people were overlooking this, Ren wasn't. Ren walked up to the man and said. "Excuse me sir?"

"What do you want?" The man said as both he and the girl were surprised to see him. Ren then said to the man. "You're hurting her."

"Don't get worked up. I'm just being friendly here." The man said letting go of the girl. "That's not what it looked like." Ren said before the girl ran behind Ren. The man then said to the girl. "Oh, what the… What're you getting so jumpy about? Like you're anything special!" The man then left. Once they didn't see the man, the girl left out a side of relief and then said to Ren. "Thank you so much! I'm sorry for the trouble!"

"Are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine now! It was pretty scary, though…" The girl said before going silent. After a few seconds of silence, the girl said to Ren. "May I ask you something? So… what made you step in to help me?"

"Because I wanted to. And, I couldn't look the other way."

"I… see. Well, I apologize for asking something so strange. You're headed to the cleanup as well, right?"

"That's right. What about you?"

"I'm going to?"

"Ok, but I thought the teachers said you need to be in your gym clothes for the clean up?"

"Oh no! I forgot my gym clothes at school! I'll see you at the cleanup, soon. We can talk more then, if you'd like. Pardon me!" The girl said before she went back to the school for her gym clothes.

Then shortly after that, Ren met up with his friends, who were already waiting inside Inokashira Park for him, but Ryuji was the only one in his gym clothes and the girls were in their uniforms. "Yo, what took you so long?" Ryuji said to Ren as Ren walked up to them. Ren then said to Ryuji. "I had to help someone on the way here."

"Did you really come here from home in your gym clothes?" Ann said to Ren and then Ren said to her. "Is that weird?"

"No, that's not what I meant…" Ann said before Ryuji said to her and Aqua. "Ain't it normal? And, uh, are you two planning on doing this cleanup in that outfit?"

"Of course not! I brought my gym clothes with me." Ann said to Ryuji before Aqua said. "Same. We are just waiting for the huge line for the girls bathroom to shrink."

"Ohhh, that makes sense. Sounds like it sucks to be a girl." Ryuji said before Mishima walked up to them, and said. "It's such a nice day out that even the weather seems to be mocking us. I bet some Kichijoji clean-freak hung paper dolls all over and prayed for clear skies today." Mishima said, trying to enter the conversation. Ryuji then said to Mishima. "Dude, could you try pushing your way into our conversation a little less awkwardly next time?"

"Morning, everyone." Maruki said as he walked up to them. Mishima then said to Maruki. "Oh, Are you here for the cleanup too, Doc?"

"You got it." Maruki said and then Ryuji said. "Uh, in those clothes?"

"Oh, no. I'm in a different–" Maruki said before two third year female students appeared and one of them said to Maruki. "There you are, Dr. Maruki!"

"We're going to start prepping soon…" The other one said to Maruki and then Ann said to Maruki. "Prepping what?"

"I'm part of the cooking crew. Hope you're looking forward to a solid meal. See you all later." Maruki said before leaving with the girls. "More like Dr. Popular…" Ryuji said, a little jealous. Mishima then said to Ryuji. "I'm sure the Phantom Thieves will be even bigger someday." Then Makoto on a megaphone said to everyone. "Good morning, Shujin Academy students and staff… Please pick up all trash located in the areas assigned to your group. Once the cleanup is completed, a lunch of miso soup with pork and vegetables will be served."

"Ooh, pork miso soup! So that's what Dr. Maruki's fan club is making." Ann said before Mishima said. "FYI, the school assigned the groups at random. They're four people apiece, boys and girls mixed."

"Oh… really?" Ryuji said before Makoto said to everyone with the megaphone. "Now that those announcements have been made, please break into your groups and head to your assigned areas."

"Alright, let's just get this over with as fast as possible so we can chow down on that soup and get out of here!" Ryuji said, then shortly after that everyone was in their own groups and the cleanup started. The clean up took a while, but after it was over Makoto said threw the megaphone. "The cleanup is officially complete. Thank you for your hard work, everyone. Would the leader of each group please come and get the soup for their teams?"

"I don't know the best way to put it… but that sure was crappy time out there." Morgana said to Ren, as Ren's group had mostly stayed away from him the whole time, and left him after they gave him his soup and vegetables. Then the girl from earlier found Ren sitting on a bench with Morgana still in his bag, and holding a soup. "I've finally found you." The girl said to Ren and Ren said to her. "You were looking for me?"

"Yeah, I was trying to find you so I could thank you properly for this morning." The girl said before noticing that Ren was alone. She then said to Ren. "So… Where'd the other people in your group go?"

"We've disbanded."

"Ah… I see. …I'm in pretty much the same situation. If it's alright with you, why don't we eat our soup together?"

"Sure."

"Great!" The girl said as she took a seat next to Ren and started to eat their food. As they were eating, the girl said to Ren. "I want to thank you again for this morning. That man was even more frightening than he might have appeared to you… So I truly appreciate what you did for me! Thank you so much."

"You're welcome."

"Also, there's one more issue I need to address… I'm also so sorry for what happened the other day!"

"The other day?"

"...The run-in we had outside of the guidance office." The girl said and then Ren remembered the last time he saw her. The last time was when Kamoshida told her to stay away from Ren and she called him a delinquent. "Mr. Kamoshida had just told me about you a moment prior, so I sort of spoke without thinking there… I heard some of my classmates gossiping about you, too." The girl said to Ren and then Ren said to her. "Were you disappointed?"

"No, nothing of the sort. I don't like gossip or rumors and the like… And I know this'll sound strange since I just met you, but you don't seem like the kind of person they describe. It'd be a different story if all those rumors were actually true, though. What were all the crimes I'd heard? Burglary, murder, and…elephant tusk trafficking, was it?"

"I drive without a license, too." Ren said and then the girl laughed. She then said to Ren. "You are such a jokester. But that aside. Rumors can't be trusted at all, yet everyone starts shaking in their boots whenever they hear your name…Hm?"

"What is it?"

"You know what, it just hit me… I haven't introduced myself yet!"

"Nor have I. I'll go first. I'm Ren Amamiya, a second-year.."

"I believe you already learned from our meeting at school that my–" The girl said but stopped when she saw a little girl who had just lost her balloon. The girl used some gymnastic skills to jump up, catch the balloon, and land safely. "Wh-What the hell just happened!? …Oh, look." Morgana said looking at the girl then the thing she dropped next to Ren. The object was her Shujin Academy pocketbook. With the name "Kasumi Yoshizawa" written inside. Ren figured out that the pocketbook was the girls and her name was Kasumi. After Kasumi gave the girl the balloon, she returned to Ren and said. "Sorry, I didn't mean to run out on you like that."

"So, you're Kasumi Yoshizawa?"

"Huh?"

"You dropped this."

"Oh, I guess you sleuthed me out before I got to tell you. Well, you've cracked the case… I'm Kasumi Yoshizawa, a first-year!"

"Nice to meet you. Oh, and I have to ask. But are you an athlete?" Ren said as Kasumi took back her pocketbook. Kasumi then said to Ren. "Figured that out too, huh? Well, yes. I compete in gymnastics. It's not that difficult once you get the hang of it, just a hop, skip, and a jump."

"Gymnastics, huh? Hey, don't you think some of those moves would be awfully useful? I was just thinking about how the Phantom Thieves need to get some sweeter moves, too…" Morgana whispered to Ren. And before Ren could say anything, Kasumi said to Ren. "Wait… Is there a cat somewhere around here?"

"Maybe. Say, can you teach me that stuff?" Ren said to Kasumi and Kasumi said. "Does that mean you're interested in gymnastics?"

"A little bit."

"That makes me so happy! I'd be honored if you'd allow me! The only problem is… I have a favor to ask for myself, if you wouldn't mind…"

"What is it?"

"Lately, I haven't been getting the results I want from my performance, and I'm worried that I'm overthinking things… So it would be wonderful if you could give me some advice whenever you have the time."

"You want my advice?"

"Sure I do! I'd love it if you were willing to lend me an ear from time to time." Kasumi said to Ren. Then Morgana whispered to Ren. "I see… This sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me… What do you think?"

"We have a deal." Ren said to Kasumi, who then said to him. "Y-Yessir! …Wait, that's a little overboard. But, I promise! I'll glean as much as I can! Oh, why don't we exchange contact information?"

"Sure." Ren said as they both pulled out their smartphones, but then Kasumi said. "Hm? It shut down… Sorry, my smartphone's been acting up lately. Ha, it's back! Okay, I'll contact you when I've got free time, if that's fine!"

"Sure." Joker said and then they gave each other contact info. Then Makoto said threw the megaphone. "Attention Shujin Academy students: the cleanup event will be ending momentarily. Please do not discard your trash in the bins here. Instead, bring your waste to the predetermined location for disposal. After that, we will be officially releasing everyone for the day. Thank you all for your hard work."

"Well, the cleanup seems to be finished. We're already in our gym clothes, would you care for some basic training before heading home?"

"That sounds fine."

"Great. Let's start with some core exercises! Those are the foundation for staying in shape." Kasumi said and soon after that Ren started training with Kasumi. A good distance away from them was the Person in Red, in her hand was the Faith Arcane Card in her hand. However the card was in a word glitching out. "That girl is going to be trouble, just like you." The Person in Red said before pulling out a blank card that was also glitching out.

Location; Mementos

A few days later, with everyone having some free time, The Phantom Thieves of Heart had entered Mementos. Once they reached the bottom of the steps, Fox said, looking around. "This place is unbelievable. The way it "

"Is it?" Skull said before Keeper said. "Can we focus on why we are here?"

"To change some hearts, right?" Skull said and then Panther said. "Also we are here to find the Person in Red and see if she knows anything about the black mask."

"Correct, Panther. Now everyone picks a partner and let's get a movie on." Keeper said before everyone picked their Pokemon partner. Keeper picked Fletchinder, Joker picked Frigibax, Mona picked Nincada, Skull picked Larvitar, Panther picked Buneary, and Fox picked Litwick. Keeper then noticed Buneary not looking happy with Panther, so she said to Panther. "What's wrong with Buneary?"

"She's mad because I left her behind during the heist." Panther said and then Skull said. "Why did you?"

"I thought I grabbed her Pokeball, but I grabbed an empty one instead. And by the time I noticed, it was too late to head home and get her. She did understand, but is still a little mad at me." Panther said before Joker walked up to Buneary and said. "Are you fine with working with us?"

[Yeah, it will be fine.] Buneary said before Mona turned into his vehicle mode. They then started to travel through Mementos. As they traveled Mementos, they had gone deep into Mementos, beat a few Shadows, and changed the hearts of a few people that were hurting. But they had no luck finding the Person in Red. "Where is she?" Keeper said as she was driving everyone around. Joker then said to Keeper. "Maybe we should call it for the day, and try again tomorrow."

"I agree." Mona said as Keeper slowed down a little. And before Keeper could say anything, Fox opened the door then ran out to fight some Shadow. "Fox!? What are you doing?! Panther said as Litwick followed him. Not a second later, everyone followed them on foot and they then found Fox defending a small white fox. Litwick helped by shooting Ember at the Shadows. Thothers then help Fox and Litwick clear up the Shadows. Keeper used her spear and Fletchinder used Steel Wing to cut down some of the Shadows. Mona and Nincada did the same as Keeper and Fletchinder, but Mona used his sword and Nincada used Scratch. Skull and Larvitar knocked down some with Skull using his club and Larvitar using Bite. Panther and Buneary also knock down a few, Panther with her whip and Buneary with Pound. Joker and Frigibax shot the ones the other knocked down, Joker using his gun and Frigibax using Icicle Spear. Once the battle was over, Mona said to Fox. "What were you thinking?"

"Sorry, but after seeing this Pokemon being catched by those Shadows, I had to do something."

"That Pokemon is a Vulpix from Alola. And Rotom, could you tell them about Vulpix?" Keeper said before Rotom said. "Sure." Rotom then showed the image of a Vulpix, but was red instead. "Vulpix, The Fox Pokemon. Alola Form. An Ice Type. They live together in a skulk, helping one another. Before eating their prey, they freeze it solid with their -58 degree Fahrenheit breath."

"And it likes Fox." Mona said as Vulpix was rubbing next to him. Fox then said looking for a Pokeball. "Does anyone have a Pokeball for me to use?"

"You want to catch that Pokemon?" Skull said before Fox said. "Do you not see the beauty of this Pokemon?"

"I do." The Person in Red said as she appeared behind them. Everyone was surprised and then the Person in Red said throwing Fox's a regular Pokeball and a ice blue Z-Crystal with a ice symbol inside. "Here." Fox caught them and Panther said to her. "Have you been here the whole time?"

"No, I've been busy." The Person in Red said before Joker said. "Doing what?"

"Making a pillar." The Person in Red said which confused them all. The Person in Red then said to them. "But that is not why you are here. You are here for information about the Person with the Black Mask, right?"

"How do you know?" Skull said before the Person in Red said. "I have my ways. And luckily for you, I have been keeping an eye on the Person with the Black Mask."

"So you know who the Person with the Black Mask is?" Keeper said before the Person in Red said. "Yes."

"Then you can tell us who he or she is?" Panther said before the Person in Red said. "Nope."

"Oh, thank… Wait? What!? You won't tell us?!" Skull said, sounding a little mad, and pointed his weapon at her. The Person in Red moved the weapon away from her and then said to them. "Because he is not a newbie Persona user like you all. He is so skilled and so powerful, killing all of you would be nothing more than a heartbeat to him."

"But we have Pokemon. It evens out." Keeper said before the Person in Red said. "The Person with the Black Mask has already gained some Pokemon too, and they are very strong too. So if you confront him in this space, you will die and only Arceus knows what will happen to your Pokemon."

"Can't we confront him in reality then?" Skull said and the Person in Red said. "No. If you confront him in reality. That will tell him that you talked to me, the only one who saw his face and lived to tell about it, and that means you have the same power as him. That means he will expose you and you won't be able to expose him. So for the time being get strong, get smarter, and keep your eyes and ears open. You will learn who he is sooner or later, and I hope you can handle him by then. Now all of you, please leave. You've spent more than enough time here."

"Ok, everyone, let's get out of here." Joker said as Mona turned back into vehicle mode and Fox caught Vulpix. They then left the Person in Red and Mementos.

Location; Shujin Academy, Aoyama-Itchome

The next day during lunch. Ren and Ryuji were getting drinks for the girls and once they were alone, Ryuji said to Ren. "Alright, we are alone. I need your help with something…"

"What is it?"

"I found this flyer stuffed in my mailbox." Ryuji said, pulling out a flyer for a Maid Housekeeper Service. As Ren took the flyer, Ryuji said. "Housekeeping Service! It says that a cute maid will do anything for you! A maid, dude! A MAID! Who'll do ANYTHING for us! Right? …Right!?"

"What are you saying?"

"...You're a guy, right? You know what I mean! Let's give it a try. Yeah? Yeah!"

"Uh…?"

"If you're worried about location, don't be. Some guy on my floor just moved out so there's a vacant apartment in my complex. The key is behind the mailbox, so we can get in anytime. The landlord seriously doesn't care. The place is all set, so…"

"...Hey, I heard that!" Mishima said as he appeared and then Ryuji said in surprise. "...What the hell?"

"Um, can I, uh… Get in on this?" Mishima said and then Ryuji said. "Oh-ho! You mean you're into this kinda stuff? Wow! Okaaay…"

"I-I'm not into it! It's just for research! What does it mean that they'll do "anything"? And do the maids look exactly as they're as they're advertised? We need to determine whether or not this company just pretends to offer housekeeping services!" Mishima said and then Ren said with a sigh. "Just tell the truth."

"I-I… Just want to punish the bad guys! And in order to do that, I have to see it with my own eyes!" Mishima said and then Ryuji said. "Yeah, we gotta see it with our own eyes. Every little detail…" Ryuji then said to Ren. "We'll hafta do this at night, so let us know when you're ready."

"Guess I have no choice now." Ren said wanting to keep an eye on Ryuji and Mishima. Mishima then said to Ryuji. "So what's the code name for this operation…? Hmmm…. Since we'll be watching them, it should be something like… "Operation Maidwatch"!"

"Nice! I like that!" Ryuji said and Ren wasn't very happy to be part of this operation.

Location; Ryuji's Apartment Complex

It didn't take long for Ryuji and Mishima to start Operation Maidwatch, with Ren getting dragged along to keep an eye on him. And it was just them, no Pokemon or Morgana. "S-So we're really gonna do this, huh…? You think it'll be okay?" Mishima said to the guys. Ryuji then said to Mishima. "Operation Maidwatch, bro!"

"Y-Yeah! Operation Maidwatch!" Mishima said then Ren said. "Aren't you two worried that this might be sketchy?"

"If it turns out to be sketchy, we can just bail. The apartment is vacant, so it's not like we'll be messing with anyone's home." Ryuji said and then Mishima said. "To think… Sakamoto has a brain. But if that's the case, then…"

"Then…" Ryuji said, looking at Ren. "Yep!" Mishima said, also looking at Ren. "Why are you both looking at me?" Ren said to them and then Ryuji said to Ren. "Give them a call!"

"Leave it to me." Ren said before calling the service number. The phone rang for a few seconds then a man's voice said to Ren. "Thank you for calling! This is Victoria's Housekeeping! I take it you're interested in our services, then? Is there anyone in particular you'd like to request?

"No preference."

"Very well! Let's see here… We have a maid available in… 20 minutes. May I ask for your address?" The man said and Ren gave them the address of the place they were staying in. After Ren was done with the phone call, Ryuji and Mishima were starting to get nervous with this plan. 20 minutes later, Mishima said to everyone. "I-It's almost time… Say, are high school students even allowed to use this type of service?"

"Huh?" Ryuji said not really sure. Mishima then said to Ryuji. "What do you mean, "Huh"? You should've researched it! What if they find out who we are!?"

"H-How should I know!? But why would how old you are matter when it comes to housekeeping?" Ryuji said and then Mishima said. "We would've been screwed if your number had shown up on their caller ID…" Then they heard a knock on the door. All of them were surprised and then the woman said threw the door. "Good evening… I'm from the housekeeping service."

"What!? Already!? She's five minutes early! What do we do!? I'm not mentally prepared!" Mishima said as he started to panic. "Oh, the door's unlocked…? Uh, may I come in…?" The woman said as she entered the apartment. Ryuji then said to Ren as he started to panic too. "I-I can't do this…! My stomach's acting up! And my hands are all sweaty!"

"Do you want to wait outside on the balcony?" Ren said to Ryuji and Ryuji said. "Yeah. You handle the rest… And don't let her find out you're a high school student. I've got your back! Just… From back there." Ryuji said before he left for the balcony. Mishima then said also going to the balcony. "Wh-What? I can't do this either! Ren, we'll leave it to you!"

"Great." Ren said, facing the balcony door. And not long after that Ryuji and Mishima closed the door, the maid walked in. Ren didn't turn to face the woman, who was wearing a classic maid outfits. The woman noticed Ren and then said to him. "Welcome home, Master. I'm going to fill your tired heart full of lovely energy. Meow! I'm Becky, and I have the pleasure of serving you today."

"Nice to mee-ow-t you."

"We're going to get along so well! Meeeooowww! Oh my… how thoughtless of me! I should explain our services to you, Master! What would you like me to do today? The basics include cooking, cleaning, laundry… But there are other "services" we provide if you desire." Becky said before she got closer to Ren and then said to him. "Hmmm? You look young, Master… Are you… perhaps… In high school?"

"I'm in college."

"Hmmm? I'll wait to provide those other "services" until you've matured a bit, Master. Sooo… I'll be going now." Becky said and then Ryuji said. "Wh-What!? No!"

"Quiet…!" Mishima said to Ryuji. But it was too late, Becky heard them and said walking over to the door for the balcony. "I-Is someone there!?"

"Oh no…!" Mishima said and then Ryuji said. "Shit! Run, Mishima!" Then as both of them tried to run away, Becky said. "Mishima? Sakamoto-kun? …And you!?" Becky said before turning to face Ren. Ren was surprised to see that Becky was his homeroom teacher, Kawakami. Kawakami then said to Ren. "Did you request me specifically?"

"I am just as surprised as you are."

"Ugh, this is unbelievable… I'm so done… I can't believe I got caught by some of my own students… I should've taken a job outside of the city. But I needed it to be close to school so I could go there after I finished work… Who did you hear about this from?"

"I didn't hear this from anyone. This was Ryuji's plan after seeing a flyer for your second job, and Mishima tagged along."

"So you didn't hear this from Ms. Chouno?

"Ms. Chouno?"

"Ms. Chouno, the English Teacher… She's been snooping on all the teachers ever since the incident with Mr. Kamoshida. …Are you going to tell Ms. Chouno about this?"

"What do you mean?"

"If you promise not to tell Ms. Chouno about this, I'll do anything for you…"

"Ok, but can we talk about this later. And until then, can we act like this never happened?"

"Sure. I'll treat this as if you had canceled, so you won't have to pay anything. Okay?"

"Thank you."

"On that note, I'll be leaving!" Kawakami said before leaving. Ren then felt exhausted and returned home.

Location; Shibuya

As the people started talking about the Phantom Thieves, Makoto and a pleasant looking boy were thinking about who they were.

As for the Phantom Thieves of Heart, they were at the Hideout and had heard the news. "You guys see the news about Madarame!? It's just like what happened with Kamoshida!" Ryuji said to the others and then Ann said to everyone. "And they mentioned the Phantom Thieves!"

"Aqua's right. We can't let this go to our heads and cause us to slip up." Ren said to Ryuji, who then said to him and Aqua. "Man, you two are making this sound bad."

"Then again, doesn't that make Ren more trustworthy as our leader, and Aqua our second in command." Ann said before Ryuji said. "As for me, I hope we just keep getting more and more famous!"

"Something like this happening twice is massive too. It's too great a coincidence to occur normally." Morgana said to everyone and then Ann said to everyone. "If we continue doing this, we'll definitely be able to give courage to everyone who needs it." Then some male attendance officers appeared and they were standing close not far away from them, and Yusuke said to everyone. "...We may want to quiet down a little."

"Why?" Aqua said and Yusuke pointed to the police. Ann then said to Yusuke. "Do you know them?"

"You moron! Those're attendance officers!" Ryuji said before they walked over to them. One of them said to everyone. "Hello there. May I speak with you for a moment?"

"Ah, yes! How can we help you?" Ann said to the attendance officers. Morgana then said. "That monotonous acting of hers never fails to send a chill down my spine."

"What are you all doing here? Are you friends?" The attendance officer said and then Aqua said. "Yeah, we're all friends. We were just discussing where we should go…"

"Well, all right. Just make sure you disperse before it gets too late, okay? There have been some odd happenings lately, and the news about that artist has caused quite the stir." The attendance officer said and then Ann said. "We'll be careful!" Then the attendance officers left them and Ryuji said to everyone. "It's still light out… Man, those guys must have way too much time on their hands."

"...From now, we'll need to be even more cautious than before. Look at us! Right after the second Thieves incident, both prior victims are meeting up" Morgana said and then Ann said. "Wait, you mean people might be listening to us?"

"Ryuji? Change the topic, or I will give you a reverse mohawk." Aqua said before Ryuji said. "Oh, uh? Then again, now that Yusuke will be living alone, it'll be easier for us to meet up whenever we want."

"For the time being, we should wait and see how this case plays out." Yusuke said before Ryuji said. "And it'll prolly take some time finding a target as big as Madarame."

"Anyway, we should just act like normal students while we look for our next target, okay?" Ann said before Morgana said to Ryuji. "We'll be entrusting that to you again, Ryuji."

"All right. Guess it's just more prep till then." Ryuji said before everyone started to leave. However unknown to them Makoto had found them. She noticed Yusuke with the group, and was starting to put the piece together before she left too.
