*POV BELLA*
I still can't believe I let Edward talk me into coming to this dance. I spent the last 2 songs trying to talk Jess into dancing with Mike. I hear Alice's song 'Enchanted' start and it's a ping in the heart. I get a whiff of her and I wonder if it's my mind playing a trick on me. I throw a glance at Edward and he nods to the door. There she is, looking more beautiful than I've ever seen her. I inhale deeply, letting her scent fill my body. Feeling it spread through every muscle and every vein, it's the oxygen my body has been needing. We lock eyes and we're both frozen in place till Jess gives me the push I need. Neither of us say anything as I reach for her to dance. Her scent surrounds me, I smell nothing but her. I see nothing but her. If for any reason, someone was to attack, I would be caught completely off guard. Her cold body feels great against me. It feels like it's lowering my temperature. I see the cracks on her neck and if Billy is right, much like me, she suffered from the distance too. If so, she'll start healing now that she's back. I also notice that her dress is the same color as my tie. I can't help smiling at the thought that it was our bond. My wolf jumps for joy. I feel the tingles run though my body. Almost like lightening. I pull her closer and start singing to the song. She's sung around me many times, it comes as a surprise to her and I'm sure the others when I start singing. I haven't sung since my mom passed away. But these lyrics were too true for me not to. Plus, this is Alice. My imprint. I want her to know everything about me. No more hiding.
When she tried to apologize, I hush her. I don't want to ruin the moment. Another song plays and I take the chance to let her know I missed her. She replies that she missed me too and my heart heals a little more. I feel her take a deep breath and her body relaxes even more against me. I'm in heaven when she lays her head on my shoulder. The relief I feel now that she's back. Even if nothing comes of this night, she's back. When 'Kiss Me' starts playing, I wish Edward could hear me when I think thank you. I start to wonder just how much luck is on my side tonight. I start singing again. This is the perfect moment to finally tell her I love her. If the gods are on my side, she'll say it back.
Bella: This feels like falling in love. Falling in love. Falling in love….
And the gods do something better, she kisses me. Her lips feel softer than anything I ever felt before. Her body softens into me. I feel a heartbeat from her body. Surprising both of us. When she pulls away, my lips miss hers and I catch them again. Our tongues meet and her tongue is the best thing I've ever tasted. It tastes like her, and I instantly wonder if the rest of her, taste the same. I feel my dick grow and harden. My wolf wants her but here is not the place. All apologies can wait. Everything can wait. I pull her into another kiss. My wolf is hungry for her. Needing her, all of her. She's finally here. It's finally happening. The others interrupt us, and I have to contain my growl. I know we need to find out what's happening, but my wolf needs to mark her as our mate. But I have to put her health and wellbeing in my forefront.
Bella: Jake, can you call…
Jake: I already did. They'll meet us at the Cullens.
I look at Alice and I see the cracks have all but healed. Her eyes have an ice blue rim around the gold. I notice the other students looking at us and I pull Alice towards the door. I know the others will follow soon. Not wanting it to be too noticeable that we're all leaving. I hear Edward explain to the others that Alice wasn't feeling too well and I was taking her home.
I walk Alice to my car and open the door for her. She doesn't get in right away and I see it in her eyes. The want and the love. It sends another lighten bolt though my body. My wolf growls at the want but I push the worry back to the front of my mind. He backs down knowing we need to make sure she's ok before anything else. I brush my fingertips over her jaw, giving her a quick kiss before lightly pushing her into the car. I know if we start kissing again, we'll be doing other things. I run around getting into the driver's seat, jetting out of the school and racing to the Cullens' house. It's hard not to pull over and take her right now. It's almost as if the lightening is shooting throughout the car all around us. I look over at her and wonder if she's feeling it too.
I get my answer when we pull up to the house and I go to open her door. She instantly pulls me into her and kisses me. Her hands are in my hair again which drives me crazy. While mine travel down her back. As they move lower, she pulls me closer into her. Our bodies melting together. I'm surrounded by the scent of her arousal and my wolf growls with want. I feel my dick twitch again. We're lost in our own world till I hear a car pull up. I pull away from our kissing but don't move from her.
Edward: hmmm, I hate to interrupt again.
Alice growls at him and I have to hold her back.
Edward: Alice right now is not the time. Please, we have a lot to discuss.
Bella: he's right. I still feel your heart drumming away. While it's a nice sound, we still need to make sure everything is ok.
She looks back at me and pouts. It's still the cutest thing ever. I kiss the side of her mouth and pull her into the house. I think of everything else to lower the tent in my pants. Imaging seeing Jake naked. Thankful now that Edward can't read my mind. I see her straighten her dress out the corner of my eye. The last thing we want is our parents to know what was almost about to happen right outside. Though I'm sure everyone but Charlie are able to smell both of us.
And I'm right, they all smile at the sight of us holding hands. I start blushing, knowing they know what has happen. Alice chuckles before leading us to the couch. Carlisle rushes to Alice and I have to stop the reflex to attack.
Carlisle: I've never in my 300 years, have heard of a vampire's heart beating. All our organs freeze during the transformation.
Bella: so, what does this mean, is she going to 'die' again. I don't want her going through that pain again.
I slightly choke at the thought of her in pain. She squeezes my hand as reassurance.
Billy: I have a theory to this Bella. When our wolf imprints…
Alice: you imprinted on me?

Bella: since the second day of school. The first time I saw you. Well technically I smelt you in the woods before then. I just didn't know what the scent was till I actually saw you.

*POV ALICE*
Her words make my now beating heart swell. I feel the venom fill my eyes. Unlike Jasper, she wanted me to have the choice. She wanted me to feel whatever I felt on my own. She wanted me to fall in love. I jump into her arms and kiss her. Throwing all the passion I can behind the kiss. Hoping she feels the love I hold for her. Unlike the kiss we just shared outside, this one isn't sexual. It's sweet and soft. It's just love. Her arms tighten around me, and we hear someone clear their throat. I pull back and see the love in her eyes. Genuine love.
Carlisle: Billy can you please continue?
Bella: right sorry, please Billy.
Billy: our imprints are suppose to make our wolves stronger while also helping to keep us linked to our humanity. Now a theory for the chosen imprint, is it chooses the person best suited to pass down the wolf gene. We've never known it to do anything to the imprint, given they've all been human. If the theory is true. Which we have proven a little more likely given Bella's little friend… well, it might be making Alice a little more human to *clears throat* pass down the wolf gene.
I share a look with Bella, I still see concern in her eyes. Is she worried about me and what will happen? Is she worried I might reject her now? Is she worried I might now want this? Is she regretting the imprint now? I give her hand a squeeze hoping it reassures her I'm not leaving again.
Carlisle: given we don't know much about the tribal magic that caused the shifting in the first place; all this could be very possible.
Bella: so, it could put her in more danger? Making her human would mean her actually being able to get hurt. She could die.
Carlisle: we don't know. Right now, we just have the heartbeat. Alice, do you feel any different?
Alice: not that I know of. I mean, just overwhelmed with love for her. And other stuff… I'm sure the mating bond.
Charlie and Carlisle chuckle, knowing exactly what I mean. Esme is just beaming at us. The others smile at it too, Rose giving me the 'I told you so' look.
Emmett: WELCOME TO THE FAMILY WOLFIE!
We all laugh as he tackles Bella.
Rose: I'm happy you two finally got it together. Mainly you Alice. We all knew Bella was already there.
Alice: wait what?
Edward: we've all known. Bella just made us promise not to tell you. She truly wanted it to be your choice sis.
I look over at Bella and she's blushing again. It makes me want her even more.
Alice: Bella, can we go talk upstairs?
Billy: I think that's our cue to leave Charlie. Come on, I have some fish fry in the freezer.
Charlie: yeah yeah. Bella, can I have a quick word outside?
She gives my hand a squeeze before getting up to follow Charlie out.
Charlie: do I need to have the talk with you again?
Oh god, this is so embarrassing. The others hold in their chuckles. Even Carlisle. Esme gives him a stern look and he straightens up.
Bella: dad….
Charlie: I know I know, technically you're an adult. But we don't know what's to come out of everything. I know I'm handsome with this grey hair and all but I'm still too young to be a grandfather.
Emmett and Jake start openly laughing.
Bella: jeez dad! You do know everyone inside just heard you?
Charlie: I know, I just wanted to give you and Alice a warning. I'm sure Carlisle has some condoms so… wrap it up kids. I'll be ok with having little pups running around me one day. Just not in my handsome days.
Emmett and Jake bust out laughing. As we hear them get in the car. Rose is quick to smack Emmett in the head and Edward elbows Jake. I shoot them both a thank you. I hear Bella take a deep breath. I'm sure trying to calm the blush before coming back in. I hear her slowly walk back into the living room. I turn and she's looking at Carlisle rubbing the back of her neck.
Carlisle: I don't think that's possible Bella; I mean it's all still new. We just know about her heart. We'll see what happens.
Bella nods and grabs my hand to pull me upstairs.
Carlisle: Bella, I do agree with Charlie though, I'm too young to be a grandfather also. So, if you want to be safe, I have some in my office.
All at once, Bella stops, and I feel her tense. Emmett and Jake bust out laughing. Followed by 3 loud smacks and all 3 Carlisle, Emmett and Jake saying ouch.
Esme: seriously Carlisle. How old are you?

As we reach the top, we hear an even louder smack. We walk into my room and before I know it, Bella has me pushed up against the door. A wave of lust shoots down to my core as her lips crush onto mine.
