*POV JASPER*

This isn't going exactly as I planned. Stupid newborns are killing each other faster than Tori creates them. There has to be a way to keep from getting involved. I can't risk Alice seeing me. And I can't risk going back to spy on them. What to do, what to do….

Jasper: Tori, dear, can you come here for a sec?

Tori: yes, my love?

Jasper: the way the newborns are going, we'll never have enough to go back and get vengeance. I was thinking… I start handling the newborns and you go back to do some recon.

I have to make this be her decision, so I push out some confidence.

Tori: you want me to leave your side?

Jasper: no, of course not, dear. I would never want you to leave me. You know what I told you about their gifts. Alice is a seer and Edward is a mind reader. Her gift is based on decisions; because she knows me, she'll see the minute I decide to go back. His is through the minds around him. He'll hear me once I get close to the house. I'll never get close enough to find out what's going on. Besides, you can distract them. Make sure they don't catch wind of our plans. The sooner we gather the newborns, the sooner we can retaliate and take over the northwest. Envision all the blood that would be ours. We could feed anywhere we want.

I walk over to her and kiss her slowly on the side of her neck. Pushing out a wave of lust and love to her. I feel her knees buckle against me. She's so pathetic and easy. I slowly move her to the bed. Knowing how effortlessly it is to make her give into me.

Tori: you're right love. They don't know who I am. What do we need to find out?

Jasper: what's going on with the Cullens, how many wolves there are, and just anything you think is important. You're smart my dear. Anything that will give us an upper hand. Now, no more business. Let's enjoy our night together.

*POV VICTORIA*

I leave my love when the sun comes out. Parting with a quick kiss. In just days, I realize I've never experienced this much bliss and love in this life. Not even with James. Everything was a hunting game to him. Just makes me realize how much more of a man Jasper is. He makes plans. He wants to give me everything. He takes my wants and needs before his. A part of me is starting not to even care about revenge for James anymore. Not if it means either of us getting hurt or even worse, getting killed. But I should want to help him avenge this whole thing. I slow down when I make it back to Forks. Not wanting to encounter either wolves or vampires.

I walk around the woods near the Cullens' house, looking to pick up any scent. After an hour, I come across a disgusting scent causing me to gag. It's a strong scent of vampire arousal and stinky wolf. This coven is revolting. To drink from animals is one thing. To lay down with dogs is another. Their mating stench covers a mile through the woods. I slowly follow the scent through the trees as it gets stronger, coming up on the Cullens' house. Holding back when I can see the house. Picking up on 2 humans, 3 wolves, and 6 vampires. I notice one of the wolves' and humans' scent is coming from the road, deciding to follow it for other wolves. Not long do I come up to tribal land. I pick up on 2 other wolves. Before I can take another step, I hear a wolf howl in the distance. Letting me know I'm getting too close. Running back to the Cullens', I decide to follow the other human scent. I quickly come up on a house and notice one of the wolves' scents is stronger here. Following it upstairs to a room that is covered with the wolf's and a few vampires stench. It'll help to have a couple of her shirts for the newborns when their ready. Her's and the female vampire.

I leave the house without touching anything. Though they will smell me the minute they return, they will only think something is up if things are missing. Leaving now is the best idea. I'll give it a few weeks before I come back to explore some more. This won't be enough for Jasper but it's enough for right now. I'm sure he'll understand. And the vampires will think I'm a nomad just passing through.
