Fem Harry is Fem Prompto. FFXV Crossover...enjoy!

Endless sky, with the dawn peaking over the horizon. That was the first thing she saw at the moment of her death.

The next thing she knew was the fact she wasn't alone.

It was something powerful...something almost human.

It was also taking the form of a woman who could have been an older version of Luna Lovegood.

"I need your help."

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I am called Eos. I will be short...I am in need of someone who has fought against unimaginable odds and survived despite what the world threw at them."

"Why?"

Eos made a face.

"One of my children has arbitrary decided that they wish to wipe out my descendants and blames them for the blight that exists in the world that I once ruled as goddess. As such he has created a false prophecy and denied the birthright of the chosen king purely because he wishes to wipe out the bloodlines entirely."

"While that does sound tragic, I fail to see why I should be concerned. No offense, but I have already died once for a prophecy and don't wish to create a repeat."

"The prophecy is not about you...if you agree to help you will merely be one of the companions to the one mentioned. And if you agree I will not be sending you without several perks to insure that you succeed. Including a one-time only failsafe in case things go completely pear-shaped."

"You must really be desperate."

"If the prophecy goes as planned, the 'King of Kings' will be forced to matyr himself much like you did in order to destroy the blight, after being forcibly trapped in the Crystal for over a decade, leaving his companions all alone and his fiancee dead,"said Eos bluntly. "If that fool hadn't denied the true king's birthright and allowed me to purge the sickness from his body, things would never have become so out of control."

"Exactly how bad are we talking about here?"

"The man that was denied his birthright has allowed abominations to be created out of infants infected with the blight. They clone children in batches, and once they reach a certain maturity level all humanity is stripped from them and placed into metal shells that act as foot soldiers for the immortal's empire. Worse, they are on the verge of dominating the entire planet and are driven to steal the Crystal from the royal bloodline, causing untold destruction and needless death," said Eos bluntly. "If you agree to act as my chosen, then I will put you into the infant body of the one who escapes and becomes a close companion of the prince who becomes the 'King of Kings'."

Okay, that was pretty bad. It was no wonder Eos was so desperate to get an wild card that the other party would never see coming.

"Let's say I agree to this deal. What perks and buffs will I get to tip the odds into my favor, outside of the fact I'll have your blessing?" she asked. She was not getting into this without getting something that would make her completely broken compared to the enemies she was going to be dealing with.

Eos looked relieved, and the two began to hash out details that would make her life easier and their enemy wishing he hadn't gone and pissed off the 'mother goddess' of the world she was going to be dropped in.

Some time later...

Blue eyes that briefly turned a verdant green opened. They were in a lab, with several other infants who displayed considerably less awareness.

Remembering what Eos told her (and a brief glance downward revealed that she had at least kept her gender) she mentally commanded her 'Status' page to open.

It seemed her addiction to video games in order to escape her crappy life and at least have adventures where she wouldn't risk actual life and limb had come in handy.

Satisfied that Eos was at least keeping her word for the most part, she went back to sleep.

She only properly woke up when she heard the sound of something being blown up and the sun against her face.

It seemed things were on track, and to be honest there wasn't any way for her to manipulate things while she was still a toddler at best. Better to let things play out naturally and start working towards breaking the system once she had proper control over her bodily functions.

Estrella Argentum was her new name, and her guardians were leagues above the Dursleys in terms of parenting skills.

Even if, once she displayed she could take proper care of herself, she ended up becoming self-sufficient by the time she was seven. The Argentum couple clearly had no idea how to be good parents, so they settled for the middle ground once they knew for certain she could take care of herself.

They gave her access to a decent amount of money, made sure she knew how to budget correctly for the most part, could cook and clean, and signed any official documents needed for her care. Outside of that, they were rather hands off and left her alone.

She could live with that...she had no idea how to act as a normal child with parents anyway, and at least the Argentum never tried to beat her or encouraged the idea that she was evil incarnate.

She had barely been in school for more than a month before he arrived. Prince Noctis, the one that Eos said was going to be blindsided by the fake prophecy created by Bahamut because the blademaster blamed humanity for the starscourge.

She had to admit, it was pretty clear Noctis was going to be a major looker once he grew up properly.

Considering the number of kids trying to get close to the Prince for any number of reasons...most of it greed or 'encouragement' from their parents... she opted to keep her distance until Noctis had a better read on the class and social interaction.

Once the loner persona was properly established, she could work on introducing him to someone who genuinely wanted to be his friend and not just because he was the Prince of the kingdom.

Estrella, or "Prompto" as she introduced herself to the class (everyone was under the assumption she was a boy), waited for a good six months before she started her slow approach to befriending Noctis.

Noctis POV

It was depressing how many of his classmates only wanted to get close to him because he was the "Prince". It hadn't taken much for him to pick up on the fact that most of them only wanted him for his money, his fame or the bragging rights of being friends with the Prince Noctis.

If it wasn't for the fact he wanted to have a bit more freedom and not end up with boring tutors, he would have asked to leave this school and not come back.

In the past six months, he had already realized that having any real friendship with the kids in his class was likely to be a pipe dream.

So when the odd blond who was usually reading or messing around with his phone approached him, Noctis only felt tired.

He did not expect the kid...Prompto, if he remembered right...to open up with the words "Your hair looks like a chocobo's nest."

Noctis stared at him dumbly in shock.

"Excuse me?" he said finally, mostly in disbelief someone would say something that was outright rude.

"I said your hair looks like a chocobo nested in it," Prompto repeated, eyes glinting.

Noctis almost wanted to be offended...except this was the first time someone had said something like that to him of all people and hadn't tried to cozy up to him in an attempt to be friends.

"Well at least mine doesn't look like someone had gone to town with a pair of scissors with no idea what they were doing," Noctis finally shot back.

Seeing the grin on Prompto's face, Noctis couldn't help the smile on his own. Somehow he had the feeling Prompto was nothing like the rest of his class.

From that day on it wasn't uncommon to see Noctis and Prompto trading light hearted insults with each other. Strangely, the teachers all seemed to be under the impression that the boys couldn't stand one another.

Third POV

"I've heard from Cor that you've made a new friend," said Regis.

Noctis brightened.

"His name is Prompto, and he's the only one in class who hasn't tried to buddy up to me because I'm the prince."

Regis already had the basic background done on Prompto once it became common knowledge the two were spending some time together during and to a lesser extent after class together.

You could imagine his surprise and slight amusement when he discovered "Prompto" was in fact Estrella Argentum...the same infant Cor had rescued from a research facility developing Magitek troopers.

Regis had the sneaking suspicion the so-called "insult wars" between Estrella and Noctis were more in line of a crush between the girl and his son.

Considering Estrella, or "Prompto" had never used any hurtful comments towards his son, and was likely the only one in Noctis' class who wasn't trying to take advantage of him for his position, Regis decided to allow the odd friendship to continue.

(He would never be more thankful that he allowed Noctis to continue his friendship with Estrella more than the day of the incident. At the very least the girl's loyalty was never brought into question again after.)

Noctis decided in a bit of selfish behavior, to bring Prompto with him to see the fireflies. Mostly because he didn't want to be the only kid there and he wanted to see how Prompto would act around his father.

Unfortunately Regis backed out at the last minute, but Prompto's disinterest in the fact made Noctis' mood brighten up a little.

They had quite a bit of fun, especially since Prompto brought a few jars to keep the fireflies in.

The blond was napping against the door when he suddenly woke up...right as the car in front of them was taken out.

"What's going on?" said the driver.

"I don't know..."

"I'll go look," said the other guard.

"Wait," said the driver.

Prompto didn't think twice. She saw the steel heading for their car, and she threw open the door once she had a strong grip on Noctis' hand.

The woman Noctis had been leaning against half-asleep was killed instantly from behind, shielding the two.

They were being attacked by some form of snake Daemon. However Prompto didn't want to try talking to her...considering how pissed that thing was, odds are she wouldn't listen anyway.

Seeing the blades coming for them, she knew exactly what she had to do.

"Protego!" she shouted, and a translucent shield appeared in front of her hands.

Noctis stared in shock as the swords bounced off the invisible barrier. That didn't look like the shield spell his father used.

It was only good for a few hits, and she knew she wouldn't have enough magic to try that twice. The daemon looked enraged at being denied it's prey.

She could vaguely see car lights heading their way at speed...odds are the King had been alerted and was coming.

Well, there was one shield spell she knew that was stronger than the one she used...it was just really draining.

"Noct...I'm going to do something a little risky, but don't freak out."

"Prompto...what..."

She slashed her hand, causing it to bleed and began to chant in Celtic. The blood barrier was a strong protective spell, but it came at a pretty high cost. It would deflect any damage...but the longer it remained up, the more blood was used as a sacrifice to the old gods. Considering how small she was, she could only hold it up safely for ten minutes at most before she fell into the danger zone.

She pushed Noctis to the ground and covered them both with the shield...they could barely see the light of the flames from te cars, and there wasn't enough room for the daemon to put their sword under it to skewer them.

Noctis was decidedly freaked out, especially at the red tint around them. But he instinctively knew he was safe as long as Prompto was there to hold the shield.

He watched as his father drove off the daemon, forcing to fall off the cliff.

It was only after the danger had mostly passed that he noticed Prompto was bleeding from more than just her hand...there was a bit of blood coming from her forehead.

Once Regis came into view, Prompto let the shield fall...and blacked out from blood loss.

Third POV

Regis had never been more terrified in his life, seeing that daemon in the same vicinity of his son. It was only after the beast was driven off that he fully saw the odd egg-shape on the ground that was a bloody red.

You could imagine his shock when the 'egg' melted away to reveal a mostly unharmed Noctis and a still bleeding Estrella Argentum. Her hand was the worst off, and he had no idea what she had done to keep his son safe.

Whatever it was, she was suffering from acute blood loss and would need a few days to recover.

"Dad...is he going to be okay?" asked Noctis worried.

There was little doubt in his mind that the blond girl had saved his son's life, at the expense of her own health.

"I'm sure your friend will be fine," said Regis tactfully.

Noctis continued to worry about his friend right up until the doctors said that she would be fine...once she had a bit of rest. She had needed a minor transfusion, but other than the cut she had made on her hand and the light scarring she was going to get from the cuts on her forehead, she was in perfect health.

"Wait...she?!" said Noctis in shock.

In the wake of this entire nightmare, Regis still found it in him to chuckle a bit at his son's shock upon learning his best friend was actually a girl.
