"Come on! Give me another chance! Duel me again!" Marcus claimed. Marcus is still trying to get a rematch out of Yukina, but Yukina isn't letting him this time. All of them gathered at Felix's store, but Marcus just won't leave them alone. Even Cray was there and met Marcus for the first time.
"I've already taken you one three times and beaten you three times." Yukina said. "You keep pressing like this and I might need to call the police."
"So, who is this guy again?" Cray questioned.
"His name is Marcus Zimmer. He claims he's the best duelist in the world." Cindy said. "He came all the way from America to challenge Yukina and prove he's better than her, but she beat him. Now, he won't leave her alone. He's persistent on this."
"He needs to cool it or I'm going to lose it." Kent said.
"This guy really thinks he can take on Yukina? As if." Cray said. "Besides, Yukina isn't allowed to lose to anyone except me."
"Let me prove to you that I'm worth the challenge. If I can beat you in something else, you have to duel me again." Marcus claimed. "So, what will it be? Jumping rope? Push-up contest?"
"How about you just go away?" Yukina questioned as all of them were getting really annoyed with Marcus now. Just then, they heard a gong going off and gave them a good scare. They all looked to the entrance and saw a young girl there. She had blonde hair with two buns in her head and wore a small pink robe with a flowery-pattern. Even her glasses had flowers on them.
"There. It sounded like you needed that."
"Who are you?" Yukina questioned.
"My name is Li-Jing. Which one of you is Yukina Osama?"
"That would be me." Yukina said.
"This is for you." Li-Jing said as she handed a paper to Yukina. "We await your arrival." That was all she said before she left the store.
"Wait a minute!" Yukina called as she chased after her, but she was already gone by the time they got out there. "Wow. She's fast. She's already gone."
"What does the paper say?" Felix questioned. Yukina opened it up to see what it was.
"Come to the Grand Sun at noon." Yukina said.
"The Grand Sun!" Kent said as he was astonished to hear it.
"You've heard of it?" Cindy questioned.
"The Grand Sun is the best Chinese restaurant in the whole city!" Kent said. "It's rated with five stars! They say you won't find a better place that serves dumplings, sweet and sour pork, chow mein, and so much more. Just thinking about that delicious food makes my mouth water." He said as he could just picture all that delicious food.
"Wow. That does sound rather good." Marcus said.
"Hold on. There's more to it." Felix said. "Come to the Grand Sun at noon. Be sure to bring your deck. Sign, Jaw-Long of Fanrong."
"Fanrong? What's that?" Yukina questioned.
"I'm not sure, but this doesn't sound like an invite. It sounds more like a challenge." Felix said.
"What?! They can't challenge you when you haven't had your rematch with me!" Marcus said.
"You've had your turn." Cray claimed. "Still, it sounds like we should check this out and see what this was about."
"You bet! We'll get some great food!" Kent said. "Let's go right now! We'll get there early and have even more!" He was real excited to get to eat at such a great restaurant.

The Grand Sun
Kent's excitement was cut short when they got there. They arrived at the Grand Sun with it looking like a Chinese temple, but it wasn't even open yet. That's why the time was set for noon.
"It won't open until noon?! No fair! I got so excited to eat here!" Kent complained. "You can't make us wait this long to eat all the good food!"
"Quit being a baby." Cray said.
"Besides, I'm more curious as to who this Fanrong and this Jaw-Long are." Felix said.
"Well, there's nothing we can really do except wait until they open." Yukina said. That's exactly what they did. They just kept waiting and waiting until it was noon. With a few of them anxious to eat the food, the wait was a little agonizing. Eventually the wait came to an end as they heard the doors open up.
"Finally! Food!" Kent shouted as he ran inside with the others following. They went inside, but waiting for them was the girl, Li-Jing, and another one. The one who was spying on Yukina and Marcus' duel. The two of them stood at the top of some stairs like they were waiting for Yukina and her friends to show themselves.
"I'm pleased to see you could make it, Yukina Osama." The boy said.
"Who are you?" Yukina questioned.
"I am Jaw-Long of Fanrong."
"You are? You're the one that sent the invitation?" Felix said. "If you're Jaw-Ling, what is this Fanrong?"
"Fanrong is the name of our dueling facility all the way from China." Li-Jing explained. "It also happens to be the name of our team."
"Team? What team?" Yukina questioned.
"Our team for the Worldwide Supreme Tournament." Jaw-Long claimed.
"What?! The tournament that's happening all around the world?!" Yukina said. "You're going to be a part of it?!"
"That's right, but I'm a little surprised someone of your caliber isn't in it yet." Jaw-Long claimed. "That's why I came here. I thought this would be my only chance to duel you."
"So it was a challenge instead of an invitation." Yukina said. "And you're saying you came all the way from China just to duel me? That's just fine with me. I'll take you on."
"Hold it!" Marcus and Kent shouted.
"If you want to face a tough duelist, you'll duel me!" Marcus claimed. "I'm the number one duelist in the whole world! Besides, Yukina is going to duel me! I called on dueling her first!"
"My beef is the fact that you invited us all the way out here!" Kent called. "You can't invite us to a great place like this and not let us have any of the great food! That's just wrong!"
"Win or lose, the food is yours. Consider it my treat." Jaw-Long said. Li-Jing clapped her hands a couple times and that opened the doors for the staff to bring out the food. "You may eat whatever you like, except for you, Yukina. You will duel me first."
"Sure! I'll take you on!" Yukina said.
"No fair! Duel me first!" Marcus pleaded.
"No thanks. I don't have business with anyone except Yukina." Jaw-Long said as he walked down the steps so that he and Yukina can duel.
"More for me!" Kent cheered as he helped himself to some food. As for Yukina and Jaw-Long, the two of them stood to face each other for the duel and everyone else stood by and watch.
"Let's begin!" Jaw-Long said as he and Yukina put on their duel disks and were ready to start.
"Let's duel!" They both said and started with 4000LP.
"The first move is mine!" Jaw-Long said as he was kicking this off. "I'll begin by playing the spell known as Helpful Handicap!" He claimed. "As long as this spell remains on the field, each time you draw a card, you will be allowed to draw one more card."
"Wait. I draw?" Yukina questioned.
"That's weird. Why would he play a card that allows Yukina to draw extra cards?" Cindy questioned.
"I don't know, but he's up to something." Felix said as he had a bad feeling about this.
"Next, I will summon Manju of the Ten-Thousand Hands!" Jaw-Long said as he summoned out a monster that had hands all over his body with 1400atk points. "He certainly loves to lend a hand because his special ability allows me to add a ritual spell or monster to my hand!" He claimed as he took a card straight out of his deck. "The one I choose is the one I will activate now: Sheng Shou Ritual!"
"A ritual spell?!" Yukina said with astonishment.
"With this spell, I offer Manju with the Sonic Bird that is in my hand. Together, their levels exceed seven." Jaw-Long claimed. A magic circle began to form on the field and both of his monsters were absorbed into it. "Offer your souls to give way to sacred power! I ritual summon Sheng Shou Salamander!" The magic circle erupted like a geyser with power and a brand new monster was awakened with it looking like a red armored lizard standing on two legs with a jagged back and towered over Yukina. It also had 2400atk points.
"Look at that thing!" Kent said with astonishment as he ate some buns. They've never seen anything like that before.
"I place one card facedown to end my turn." Jaw-Long said. "Let's see if you're as good as I heard."
"You'll find out. I draw!" Yukina said as she drew her card. "Thanks to your spell, I can draw again!" She drew her second card, but that was when Jaw-Long's real plan kicked in.
"I activate Salamander's ability!" Jaw-Long claimed. "During your standby phase, you lose 200LP for every card that's in your hand!"
"I take damage?!" Yukina said as she was stunned to hear that. His giant lizard breathed out fire and it blasted against her with her life points dropping to 2600.
"So that's why he played that spell. The more cards Yukina has in her hand, the more damage that lizard can deal." Cindy said.
"To weaken the damage, Yukina has to play her cards, but that could be risky." Felix said.
"Not a bad move, but all these cards gives me a better chance at a comeback." Yukina said. "I'll start by playing the Minus Two spell! By sending the level two Wild Ally Otter to the graveyard, the levels of all the monsters in my hand drop by two." She claimed as she discarded her card. "That means I can now summon Wild Ally Orca without a tribute!" She summoned out her great beast as an orca emerged on the field with 2400atk points. "Next, I activate my orca's ability! On the turn that it's summoned, one monster loses 1000atk points. Time to cool that Salamander down!" Her organ blew some water and splashed it against the Salamander with his attack points dropping down to 1400. "Wild Ally Orca, attack!" Her Orca leaped into the air and was about to crash down on the salamander.
"I activate Sheng Shou Barrier!" Jaw-Long countered as his trap activate. "With this trap, my salamander can't be destroyed by battle or by effects this turn!" A barrier came around his monster and blocked Yukina's orca, but he still took some damage with Jaw-Long's life points dropping to 3000.
"Looks like he was ready for her counter." Felix said.
"I can tell just by looking at this guy that he seems ready for anything." Cray said. "Besides, Yukina's going to have a real problem with that Salamander's ability...no matter whose turn it is."
"What do you mean?" Marcus questioned.
"That spell card will allow Yukina to draw more cards, but there's a limit." Felix said. "A duelist can only hold six cards. If you have more at the end of your turn, you have to discard cards until you have six. That means Yukina has to play some of her cards, and could end up wasting them. Especially if she wants to weaken the damage she takes. However, there are some cards she might not be able to play. Having too many cards in your hand can be a problem."
"I place one card facedown and end my turn." Yukina said. "That means your salamander's power returns to normal." She claimed with the salamander's power returning to normal.
"My turn, and that means my salamander's other ability activates." Jaw-Long claimed. "If you happen to have more cards in your hand than I do, I get to draw until I'm holding the same amount. Currently, I have no cards while you are holding three. That means I can draw three cards!" He drew three more cards and had more options.
"Unreal! The more cards Yukina has in her hand, the more it works to his advantage!" Felix said.
"Oh man! I can't believe this!" Marcus said as he seemed to be supporting Yukina. "I should be the one dueling instead of Yukina!"
"Next, I activate Riyoku! With this spell, half of your monster's attack points are drained out of your monster with it being transferred to mine!" Jaw-Long said as power was transferring to the monsters with them changing to 1200 and 3600. "Sheng Shou Salamander, attack!" Jaw-Long's monster attacked as it breathed out fire and destroyed Yukina's orca with it destroyed and Yukina's life points dropping all the way to 200.
"Oh no! She's only got 200LP left! Come her next turn, she's finished!" Cindy said.
"See? Yukina isn't the best, I am." Marcus said.
"I was expecting more of a challenge." Jaw-Long said.
"You'll get it! I activate Mystic Aurora!" Yukina said as she activated her trap. "When my life points are less than a thousand, but the difference between ours is two-thousand, I gain 2000LP." She said as her life points replenished to 2200.
"I see... Trying to hold on, are you? Good." Jaw-Long said. "I activate Restructure Revolution! This spell cards deals you 200 points of damage for every card you hold!" Yukina got blasted by some electricity and her life points dropped to 1600. "With that, I end my turn." He said with his Salamander's power returning to normal
"You certainly have some skill, but I've got some as well. My turn!" Yukina said as she drew two cards.
"And now my Salamander deals you damage!" Jaw-Long said as Yukina got blasted again with her life points dropping to just 600. One more round and she could be finished.
"Your salamander might be able to turn up the heat, but I can turn it up myself." Yukina said as it sounds like she got something. "I activate Wild Nest! By sending my Wild Ally Osprey to the graveyard, I gain two egg tokens!" Two eggs appeared on her field with 0def points. "But they won't be staying as I tribute them to summon Wild Ally Pegasus!" She tribute both of her eggs and called on a new ally. A Pegasus wearing the same collar descended from the sky with it having 2800atk points. "Next, I activate his special ability! I can now bring back a Wild Ally from my graveyard once per turn by negating their special abilities! Time to come back Wild Ally Orca!" Her Pegasus shined a bright light that guided the way. Orca jumped out like it was in the ocean with it returning to the field.
"This can't be!" Jaw-Long said.
"It is! I activate Wild Force! With this spell, one of my friends is gaining 500atk points!" Yukina said as she used it on her Pegasus with its power now 3300. "Time to brawl! Wild Ally Pegasus, attack! Shining Strike!" Her Pegasus coated itself in light as it flew in and smashed against the lizard and destroyed it with Jaw-Long's life points dropping to 2100. "Wild Ally Orca, it's your turn! End this!" Her Orca attacked Jaw-Long directly and smashed against him with Jaw-Long's life points dropping to zero.
"Jaw-Long!" Li-Jing called. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." Jaw-Long said as he stood tall with his head up as he accepted his defeat. "You did well, Yukina. You and your friends are free to eat as much as you like. It's all been paid for."
"That's really nice of you Jaw-Long. I hope we can duel again." Yukina said.
"Perhaps we might. There's still time before the tournament begins. Perhaps you can still enter." Jaw-Long suggested. That was something for her to think about. "Until we meet again." He claimed with him and Li-Jing leaving.
"The Worldwide Supreme Tournament..." Yukina said as it is rather interesting and could be a real challenge. "A tournament being held all over the world... There has to be a way to compete."
"You said it! Why can't we compete! There should be an event or something!" Marcus claimed. "It's a chance to prove everyone that I am number one! You know, what let's do it! We should compete."
"We?" Yukina questioned.
"Yeah. Well, maybe not you. Who wants to watch you compete. Let someone else step in the spotlight." Marcus claimed with Yukina getting annoyed.
"Guys, it doesn't work like that. You need to be part of a team to compete, and the team has to be sponsored big time company or something." Felix said.
"Isn't there someway we can enter?" Cindy questioned.
"Yeah." Kent said as he kept stuffing his face. "There has to be some way we can compete."
"If there is, we'll find it." Yukina said. This upcoming tournament sounds like it could be a lot of fun. There has to be a way for them to compete. There are powerful duelists like Jaw-Long entering, and this could be amazing. It's a chance Yukina can't let slip by, and she won't.
