Team Mystic has done well in the tournament so far. They managed to defeat Team Fanrong and Team Rosebud. On top of that, they're getting a nice trip around the world, and now they're at a beautiful town that combines the modern day beauty near the ocean with ancient history.

"Wow! It's so beautiful here!" Cindy said as she enjoyed a marvelous view. "The amazing blue sea, the architecture of ancient times, and a wonderful town that brings it all together. I feel so lucky to be here."

"What's so great about this place?" Kent said. "It's just a bunch of old buildings."

"And I'm not really a fan of the beach." Marcus said. "The sand is too hot, getting everywhere like glitter, and birds are always trying to grab our food."

"We're only stopping here until our next match." Yukina said. "I hope it's soon because I'm ready for action."

"Guys!" Cindy groaned. "We're in a beautiful city. What are the odds we're going to be here again. It's a nice break from the tournament. Can't you think of something other than dueling?"

"Nope!" Yukina and Marcus answered like they didn't even have to think about it. Cindy should have seen that one coming.

"Cindy's got a point." Felix said as he looked over a map. "We should try to enjoy ourselves while we're here."

"Thank you! At least someone else gets it!" Cindy said.

"At the very least, we should use this time to focus on our other mission since our next match won't be for a while." Felix reminded of their other purpose. "We're in Europe right now, the same continent that holds France. France is the home country of Team Camelot." When they heard that name, they were reminded of Arthur Lance and his Malicious Fiend. "I have a feeling it's only a matter of time until we face that team."

"And that means we'll be facing Arthur and his Malicious Fiend." Kent said.

"I can't help but wonder how someone like him got that card." Yukina said.

"I heard that Team Camelot had a match close by, so I doubt they be too far." Felix said. "We don't know anything about the other Malicious Fiends, but at least we know where one of them is. We need to try and learn more about him, especially since we don't know much about the other members of Team Camelot."

"Felix is right. Now that we're heading for the third round of the Worldwide Supreme Tournament, it's only a matter of time until we face them. We also need to focus on our mission." Yukina said with Kent and Marcus agreeing.

"But before that, let's have some fun!" Cindy claimed.

...

The Beach

Cindy walked right into the water in her bare feet. Wanting to enjoy their time in this town, she kept splashing around the water and the water felt amazing.

"Oh wow! This water feels great and the weather is perfect! I should have brought my swimsuit!" Cindy said as she kept splashing around.

"Isn't this the opposite of what we should be doing?" Yukina questioned.

"Let her be. She's just trying to enjoy herself. Think about something other than tournament or our problems." Felix said. "We have been working hard lately. I guess little break wouldn't hurt."

"So let's just get something to eat rather than be on this dumb beach." Marcus said as he really wanted to leave. Just then, they all saw a bright light coming from further down the beach. "What is that?!" The light was practically blinding and they couldn't see what was causing it. When the light faded away, they couldn't see what caused it.

"What was that light?" Kent questioned.

"Let's go find out." Yukina said as they all hurried off.

"Wait! At least let me get my shoes back on!" Cindy called as she tried hopping after them. The five of them hurried down to the beach and saw no sign of anything.

"I'm sure that light came from around here. Anyone see anything?" Yukina questioned.

"Maybe she did." Marcus said as he spotted someone else on the beach. It looked like a young lady with flowing wavy powder blue hair with her wearing a white power suit that had a blue rose on the left side of the jacket.

"Excuse me!" Yukina said as she got her attention.

"Yes? Can I help you?" The girl asked.

"Yeah. Did you see a bright light around here. It would have been hard to miss." Kent said.

"Bright light? I'm sorry. I guess I got a little distracted." The girl said.

"Distracted? From what?" Yukina questioned.

"And why are you wearing those clothes? Not exactly something you wear to the beach." Kent said.

"I'm not here to play in the water. I was admiring what was around me." The girl said, but none of them saw anything. "Let me introduce myself. My name is Stephanie. I simply love this place. It reminds me of home. It's rich in culture and art. I guess I just simply got distracted by the beauty it holds."

"What is she talking about?" Kent questioned as he wasn't getting it.

"You might if you try expanding your mind." Cindy claimed.

"Still, how could not see that bright light?" Kent questioned.

'Wait. She didn't say anything about that?' Felix thought as it seemed like something was off. Just then, he noticed the duel disk that Stephanie was wearing. 'Did she cause the light in some way to exemplify the beauty of this place? Just who is she?'

...

The Town

"I don't know about that other stuff you and Stephanie were spouting, Cindy, but it does smell like there's great food." Marcus said as they all decided to get something to eat.

"Simpleton." Cindy said as she wishes her friends will show a little more appreciation. "Let's just get something to go so that we can get to work." All of them were on their way, but then they saw some sort of wave of darkness coming from around the corner.

"Now what?!" Yukina questioned. All of them hurried over to see what just happened. When they got there, they saw that a duel just finished. The one who lost was on the ground. The one who won was dressed in all black with a fancy black top that had a white rose on the left shoulder. He also had sandy brown hair with bangs over his right eye.

"Another chump defeated. Next time, learn who you are dealing with." The guy said as he was on his way.

"Did that black wave come from him?" Kent questioned.

"He must be one powerful duelist to do something like that." Marcus said as the guy walked past him. "Maybe I should challenge him to find out how good he really is."

"Wait." Felix said. He noticed something. All of them looked and saw that Stephanie met up with that young man and they were walking together. "They know each other."

"Who are they?" Yukina questioned.

"Only one way to find out." Felix said. They all decided to follow those two to learn who they really are. There's something abnormal about them.

...

The Ruins

The two mysterious duelists made their way to a set of ruins that was placed upon the cliffs. They wondered what was going on and who they could be.

"What do you think is going on? Why are they here?" Yukina questioned.

"I'm not sure, but let's just keep watching and see what we can learn." Felix said.

"This is boring!" Marcus said a little too loud. As they were trying to get him to be quiet, the boy threw a card right at them and forced the five of them to come out of hiding.

"What is this? What do you people think you're doing?" The boy said.

"Wait a minute. You're the people I met earlier at the beach." Stephanie said.

"Sorry for spying and following you, but we want to know more about who you two are." Felix said. "You're clearly duelists, but not average duelists."

"Is that all? You should have asked." Stephanie said. "I already introduced myself earlier. My name is Stephanie, and this is my associate. His name is Chester."

"Now that you, go away. You're bothering us." Chester claimed.

"You don't have to be rude." Yukina claimed.

"She's right, Chester. Show a little curtesy." All of them looked ahead and were shocked to see Arthur Lance stepping out.

"Arthur Lance?!" Yukina said. "We heard you were nearby, but we didn't know we would be running into you here."

"I get it now." Felix said as it all fell into place. "You two are really members of Team Camelot, aren't you?"

"Indeed we are." Chester said as the three of them stood together. "Stephanie and are known as the Two Gems of Arthur."

"The three of us make Team Camelot. We named ourselves after the famous kingdom because Arthur here comes from wealth and is named after the famous king." Stephanie said. "Arthur here is an exceptional duelist seeing as how his family excels in all, and he is the only heir to his family's wealth. Arthur is nearly royalty himself."

"So he's some sort of big shot?" Yukina questioned.

"He might be." Cindy said as she did a little research online. "Arthur's family has won many awards, including Arthur himself. All of it in arts, academics, and athletics. He's practically won at everything."

"And it's time the whole world learned that by proving he's the best duelist." Chester said.

"Sorry, but that's not going to happen. We don't intend to lose." Yukina said. "Anyway, since you're here, there's something we need to talk to you about, Arthur. It's about that Malicious Fiend you have in your deck. It's dangerous, and you need to get rid of it.

"Excuse me?" Arthur said.

"She's right. That card is more dangerous than you think. It holds a dangerous power." Felix said.

"Are you asking me to get rid of my best card?" Arthur said.

"It's for your own good. Where did you even get that card? There are only six Malicious Fiends in the whole world." Felix said.

"Is this the card you're talking about?" Arthur said as he held up the very card. "It was found during an exhibition my family was running. We've uncovered interesting treasures, and this card was one of them. I just knew I had to had to have it. With it, I am guaranteed to win the tournament."

"And hurt a lot of people in the process. Look at what you did in your match against Team Desert." Marcus said.

"The tournament aside, that card is dangerous." Yukina said.

"I can handle it, as you can see. It sounds more like to me you are just simply jealous, and I don't blame you for that." Arthur said.

"Say what?! You're nuts if you think that's the case! We're on a mission to make sure those cards don't fall into the wrong hands!" Yukina said. "Don't be stubborn, Arthur! Get rid of the card or we might have to take it!"

"How dare you be so disrespectful to Arthur!" Chester said.

"Chester is right. I'm afraid that if you wish to face Arthur, you must face us first." Stephanie said. "We allowed this Team Desert to face Arthur because it might have been the only chance before the finals that Arthur gets to partake in the tournament. Others should know what they're up against."

"You want us to take on both of you? Great!" Marcus said.

"Wait. They might be trying to see what we're made of for when we actually do get to face them." Kent said. "Let me take these two on."

"Kent's right. We can gain insight on them, but let's limit what they can get on us." Cindy said. "I'll take them on as well."

"Are you sure?" Yukina questioned, but they both seemed sure as they stepped forward and were ready to face them.

"You two will be our opponents? You don't look that tough, but you aren't really your team's official members" Chester said. "What do you say we make this quick and make it a rush duel."

"A rush duel?!" Kent and Cindy said.

"In a rush duel, the zones are limited to just three each." Stephanie explained. "We start out with four cards, but allowed to draw on our first turn. When our turn comes around again, we are allowed to draw until we are holding five cards. We're also allowed to summon as many monsters as we want."

"What do you say we just get started? It will be easier to show you." Chester suggested. Kent and Cindy agreed to that as both sides lined up with it being Kent vs. Chester and Cindy vs. Stephanie.

"Let's duel!" All four of them said as they were starting with 4000LP.

"Allow me to show you how a rush duel works!" Chester said as he drew a card.

"As will I! I draw!" Stephanie said as she drew her card.

"I'll begin by summoning three monsters! I summon two Dark Vanguards and Nether Bug!" Chester said. He summoned out two fiendish warriors with scaly shields. They had 1000atk points. He also summoned out a black bug that had 200atk points.

"No way! He summoned three monsters at once!" Felix said.

"So that is what Stephanie was talking about!" Yukina said as they were all shocked to see that.

"As for me, I will summon two Bright Valkyries!" Stephanie said as she summoned the same monster. She summoned two Valkyries with both wearing silver shiny armor with swords and shields, and they both had 1500atk points. This rush duel opens the way to new ways of dueling. "I now activate Solar Arrows! You lose 400LP for every light attribute warrior I have on the field!" A series of arrows rained down on Cindy with her life points dropping to 3200.

"Cindy!" Kent called.

"Worry about yourself!" Chester called. "Nether Bug's ability deals you 300 points of damage for every dark attribute monster on my field!" His bug unleashed a buzzing sound that blasted Kent with his life points dropping down to 3100.

"I place one card facedown and end my turn!" Both of them said.

"Let's do this, Cindy!" Kent said with full agreement. They both drew a card and decided to give it a try. "I might be able to summon multiple monsters, but that's no different from what I usually do. Since that's the case, I'll summon Heatsoul Private and Heatsoul Trooper!" He summoned out both of his monsters with 1200 and 1400atk points. "I'll tribute those two and I'll summon Heatsoul General!" He traded away his two monsters and summoned out his ace with it having 2400atk points.

"As for me, I'll summon my Seasonal Summer Butterfly and my Seasonal Fall Pumpkin!" Cindy said as she summoned out a butterfly and pumpkin. "Neither of them will be staying for long as I build the overlay network with my level three butterfly and pumpkin!" The X appeared on the field and they both dived inside and a pillar of light shot into the sky. I xyz summon Seasonal Spring Enchantress!" She brought out her signature monster as it emerged with 2000atk points. "I'm also going to use her special ability! By using one overlay unit, she gains 500atk points." One overlay unit went into her scepter and the power increased to 2500.

"Attack now!" Both of them ordered. Both of their monsters tried to attack, but something was wrong. Heatsoul General's attack was blocked by a barrier, and Enchantress wasn't even sure who to attack.

"Hey! What's going on?!" Kent questioned.

"Sorry, but my Dark Vanguard's ability can block one attack every turn." Chester said.

"And my Bright Valkyrie makes it so you can only attack her, but having two on the field means you can't attack." Stephanie said. That means the two of them were stuck. "I believe it's our turn now, and we can draw until we're holding five cards."

"I draw!" Both of them said as they drew five cards. "I activate the ritual spell: Royal Ordeal!"

"They have the same spell?!" Yukina said as they weren't expecting that.

"I tribute both my vanguards and my Nether Bug!" Chester said.

"And I tribute both my Bright Valkyries!" Stephanie said.

"Their combine levels equal eight!" The same thing was happening on both fields as their monsters were both absorbed into a magic circle that appeared on both their fields. One fired a pillar of light while the other fired a pillar of darkness.

"I ritual summon the queen of the light! Bright Queen Alexandria!" Stephanie said.

"And I ritual summon the ruler of the dark! Shadow King Henry!" Chester said. Both of them summoned powerful monsters. One was a woman with silver hair with similar royal dress and headpiece and carried a scepter with her. The other was dressed in a dark robe that kept his face hidden under a hood and carried a scepter as well. Both of them had 2800atk points.

"No way! They played the same spell, but summoned two different monsters!" Marcus said.

"One is light and the other is darkness!" Felix said.

"Attack now!" Chester and Stephanie said. Henry unleashed an immense wave of darkness while Alexandria unleashed an intense blast of light. Both monsters were destroyed with Kent and Cindy taking damage with their life points dropping to 2700 and 2900.

"And now Shadow King Henry's ability activates! It deals you damage equal to your monster's attack points!" Chester said. Kent got blasted by darkness with his life points dropping to 300.

"And Bright Queen Alexandria's ability brings the destroyed monster to my field, and I can attack with it!" Stephanie said. Cindy was shocked to see her own monster switched over to Stephanie's field. "Strike your former mistress!" The enchantress attacked Cindy and blasted her with her life points dropping even more to 900.

"I activate my trap: Twin Royal Chaos!" Both said as they were activating the same trap.

"On the turn both of our monsters use their special abilities..." Chester started.

"...you lose 1000LP!" Stephanie finished. Kent and Cindy got blasted by the two trap cards and they lost all the life points that they had left. This duel was a rush duel because it ended fast.

"Unbelievable! They seem to have similar decks, but are quite powerful!" Felix said as they couldn't believe the incredible power those two hold.

"Now do you understand?" Arthur said. "We are the more powerful team. We are the ones meant to win." It would seem that it's not just the Malicious Fiend that makes Arthur and his team powerful. Every member of Team Camelot seems to be greatly powerful. Maybe there really is no stoping Team Camelot.
