Team Mystic was able to pull themselves together and were feeling quite upbeat. However, they needed to focus on what's coming ahead. When they heard about Team Storm and who the leader is, they had to see things for themselves. If Team Storm wins their next match, they will be the ones Team Mystic is going to face.

"Found it yet, Cindy?" Yukina questioned.

"Come on! I need to see it for myself!" Kent said as he was more excited than anyone.

"Hang on. Here it is." Cindy said as she brought up the statistics for Team Storm. "Here they are. This is Team Storm." She claimed as she brought up the images of Cray, Sima, and Hungwe. "It's true! Cray is part of the Zimbabwe team: Team Storm."

"Well, we knew this was going to happen." Felix said. "Cray turned down the chance to be on our team, but I doubted he would be able to stay away."

"That's my Cray!" Kent cheered as he's always admired Cray.

"Cray, remember whose side you're on." Cindy reminded. "If Team Storm beats Team Luna, we're going to have to go up against them, and it seems most likely."

"There's no way Cray is going to lose!" Kent said.

"It's not just that." Cindy said. "In their last duel, they cleared through it like it was nothing. In other words, they always won their first two matches."

"They're really that strong?" Marcus questioned.

"What can you tell us about the two that Cray has teamed up with?" Felix questioned.

"Yeah! Who are those posers that think they're good enough to fight along side Cray?" Kent questioned.

"Well, there's Sima." Yukina said. "Sima is a powerful duelist. He always goes out first to get the first win. After that, Cray takes on the second round and finishes it. As for this Hungwe, there's nothing. He hasn't participated in any match just yet, but he must be strong. I doubt Cray would settle for a weakling being on the same team as him."

"It will be interesting to go up against Cray of all people in this tournament." Felix said. "No doubt he'll be aiming for you, Yukina." Yukina was well aware of that herself, and it's because of that reason that she's feeling a little anxious.

"Don't worry about it." Marcus said as he was the only one that was chilled about this. "Once I get in that dueling field with him, I'll take care of him. There's nothing to worry about."

"It's not that simple, Marcus." Cindy said. "Cray has his sights set on Yukina. He's one of Yukina's fiercest rivals. There's much history between these two that you don't know about just yet."

"Yeah, and remember that Cray turned down being on the same team as us because he wanted to duel Yukina. If he had stayed, we wouldn't need you." Kent claimed with that annoying Marcus.

"Well, news that Cray is on a team from another country is sure to spread through home." Felix said. "There's no doubt a lot of people are going to want to see us face against Team Storm. I hate to call it early, but I think it's most likely that Team Storm is who we're facing."

"Cindy, is there anyway for us to get to Mexico and see the match between those two?" Yukina said.

"Sorry, Yukina. There aren't any flights to Mexico today. I'm afraid by the time we get there, it will be too late." Cindy said.

"No! I want to see Cray in action! It's been too long!" Kent cried.

"Sheesh. What's with him and this Cray?" Marcus said as he was getting annoyed. Kent isn't the only one disappointed. Yukina is hoping that she can see the duel as well. If Cray left to face her, he must have gotten stronger.

Lustrous City

"Yes. I heard that Cray became part of the team from Zimbabwe." Justin said. Knowing of what's to come, they decided to give Justin a call and tried to get the full intel on this Team Storm. "I was surprised as the rest of you to hear about it. I'm rather impressed that Cray went all that way. He's truly a passionate and dedicated duelist for wanting to travel all the way to another country to partake in the tournament. As for his true motives as to why he did it, I'm not sure what to think of that."

"Can you give us anything about Team Storm?" Yukina asked. "I think it's rather obvious that we'll be facing them in the next round."

"None that you probably aren't already aware of. You sound rather confident in that." Justin said. "It hasn't been decided just yet."

"We know Cray. We know how this might turn out." Cindy said.

"Well, I can certainly see your reasoning. You aren't the only one." Justin said. "When news about Cray being the leader of Team Storm was learned here, a lot of people back in your hometown have been tuning in. They all are expecting your next match to be between them. Just take a look at this." He opened up a link to the news broadcast happening about the upcoming match with M.C., the one they know personally, running the show.

"Hey! You're dueling Master of Ceremonies, M.C., is coming to you with big news!" M.C. announced. "The popularity of teams still in the Worldwide Supreme is rather big for Team Mystic, but we're all tuning in for the upcoming match between Team Luna and Team Storm. Just look who is the leader of Team Storm!" He showed that it was Cray. "It's Cray Kodaru, who made it all the way to the semi-finals of Duel Battlers! If Team Storm happens to win this match, they will be set to face Team Mystic! People from all over Lustrous City are eager to see a match between Cray and Yukina! Let's hope we don't get disappointed!"

"Wow. We had no idea a match like that would be so invested." Felix said.

"Knowing the history between Yukina and Cray, people would love to see a match between the two of you. Of course, Team Storm has to win against Team Luna first." Justin claimed. "The people around here have been usually interested in your matches, but they're getting just as excited for this one. However, just because people want that doesn't mean it's going to happen. That said, I too am aware of how strong and fierce Cray is."

"Yeah! You better believe Cray is strong! I'm sure he's even stronger!" Kent cheered.

"That could be bad for us!" Cindy argued.

"Speaking of which, you should probably tune into their match. It's about to start." Justin claimed. They certainly don't want to miss this match.

Team Mystic

"Come on, Cindy! Hurry up! Find a channel that's broadcasting the match!" Kent said as they tried to find a channel that had Team Storm's Match.

"I'm looking! I'm looking!" Cindy said as she looked around on the channels.

"Stop!" Felix said as he spotted something. They all looked and saw the match was already going on. In fact, they were up to the second match with Cray in the middle of his duel. "It's already happening. They're on the second match."

"That means Sima already won his duel, but we didn't get anything on it." Cindy said.

"But now we'll see Cray in action. Let's see if he's any different." Yukina said as they all watched closely to see how strong Cray is now.

"Team Storm is really taking this match by Storm. The first match ended rather quickly with it being a clear win for Team Storm." The Mexican version of M.C. announced. The match was going on down in Mexico and they were defeating them rather easily. "Team Storm has so far made their way through this tournament with no defeats. Can Cray keep that train going against Ricardo of Team Luna?"

"You've put up a good fight, but I'm the one who is winning this, Cray!" Ricardo declared.

"It's a little early for you to be celebrating, isn't it?" Cray taunted.

"Maybe, but I've studied you. You used a wind-themed deck. To be more precise, you use storm-themed deck." Ricardo said. "I've seen you duel. I know you're strongest card is your Storm Dragon. You're rather full of yourself having your team named after your deck, but I can't wait to see the look of despair on your face when you lose!"

"This Ricardo really thinks he can beat Cray." Marcus said.

"No way!" Kent argued. "Cray will never lose to this guy!"

"But Ricardo has done his homework." Cindy said as he looked over his stats. "According to this, Ricardo tends to analyze his opponent. He tries to study their deck to find weaknesses."

"I doubt that's going to bother Cray." Yukina said as she was as sure as Kent that Cray was going to win this.

"You analyze me you say. Well, I hate to break it to you, but you've studied the old Cray. Not the new Cray." He claimed.

"What's the difference?" Ricardo questioned.

"The difference is that I'm even stronger. There's someone I will defeat. Isn't that so, Yukina?!" Cray called as he looked directly into the camera and Yukina suddenly felt a shiver down his spine. It was like he was talking directly to her. "Yukina, I know you're watching! You're the only one who can really give me a challenge! You're the only one I truly wish to defeat! In order to do that, I have to gain greater strength like you have! What should I do? How do I stop your phoenix from taking flight?! I believe I found that answer!" Yukina can't help but wonder what he's talking about.

"Hey! You're facing me right now!" Ricardo called.

"Watch closely, Yukina! Witness an even stronger storm!" Cray claimed as he was making his move. "I summon Storm Synchron!" He summoned out a brand new monster that looked like a high-tech green fan with a mean face. It also had 1500atk points.

"Synchron?! That's a tuner monster!" Felix said.

"Does that mean Cray synchro summon now?!" Yukina questioned.

"I activate Storm Synchron's special ability! That allows me to summon any wind monster from my hand! Rise, Thunder Tempo!" Cray called as he summoned out his monster with it having 1900atk points. "Now watch as my level four Storm Synchron tunes with my level four Thunder Tempo!" Everyone watched as the synchro process was starting and a new monster was coming. "Rise, Storm Thunder Dragon!"

"Storm Thunder Dragon?!" Yukina questioned as a new beast was awakening. They could get a good look at the dragon. It looked similar to Cray's regular Storm Dragon, but its wings were made out of electricity with horns and claws made of the same energy. Just looking at the monster screamed power. Suddenly, a bright light shined in the screen. It was blinding and they couldn't really see what happened. When the light faded away, they all witnessed that Cray already won his duel.

"It's done and over! Team Storm has won with two wins!" Team Storm has won again, but Team Mystic doesn't even know how.

"What happened in that light?!" Marcus questioned.

"I... I don't know." Cindy said.

"Cray really is stronger. That new dragon of his has some serious power to pull off something like that." Felix said as they were going up against one powerful force. As powerful as a storm. Seeing this, Felix was beginning to feel uneasy himself, but rather more on what might become of him. 'Team Storm is powerful, but we have to win. If that's the case...' He's worried that dark power he unleashed during his duel against Jaw-Long might be unleashed again. 'What am I going to do?'

"Yukina, what are you thinking?" Cindy questioned.

"I think we better get ready. We're going to have one powerful team." Yukina said as she was a little worried earlier, but now she's excited for the challenge. Two old rivals are about to face each other in this grand tournament, and what better stage for it than where it all began for them?
