Team Mystic has done well in the Worldwide Supreme Tournament. They have managed to beat their greatest opponent, Team Camelot, and are advancing into the tournament. On top of that, they're riding in style as they were all on a luxury cruise and heading for their next match.

"Now this is the life." Yukina said as she was soaking in the sun. "I think traveling by boat like this is the most enjoyable way to travel."

"You said it! Not to mention all the delicious steaks!" Kent said as he was enjoying all the food. With such a big win and winning against such a powerful opponent, the whole team felt like they needed to relax by the pool.

"The Worldwide Supreme Tournament has been very exciting, and it's almost too sad that it's coming to an end." They all looked up to the big screen and saw an M.C. from South America making an announcement. "We have now entered the Victory Round of the tournament. The first match will be between Team Mystic going against Peru's very own Team Rodrigo! The winner of that team will move straight to the finals, and will take on the winner of the match between Team Camelot and Team Void. Team Mystic has had a good run, but they might have met their match! It's happening in lovely Peru, so don't miss Team Rodrigo dish it out! They may have lost to Team Void, but Team Rodrigo still has a chance to make it. Don't miss their comeback!"

"That guy surely has a favorite." Marcus said.

"What did you expect? Peru is where we're heading, and it's their home turf." Kent said.

"They might have a homefield advantage, but that will be okay. Won't it?" Cindy asked.

"Of course it is." Yukina assured.

"But what's this Victory Round all about?" Marcus questioned. "We beat Team Camelot, so why are they still in it?"

"The Victory Round is for the top four teams." Felix explained. "Since we're nearing the finals of the tournament, they want to make a great spectacle and make sure the very best are facing each other. They want to see to it that the truly best of the best face off against each other."

"So, defeating this Team Rodrigo will make our spot in the finals certain." Yukina said. "However, if we lose to them, it's all over. No worries because we're not going to lose. We're in it to win it."

"Yeah!" The team cheered as they can tell their greatest moment was nearing.

...

Peru

Meanwhile, something was going on down in the slums of grand city in Peru. Team Rodrigo consisted of two boys and one girl. On top of that, they're siblings. The girl was the youngest with her having wavy dark hair that reached her shoulders with her wearing a black crop top with a mossy green jean vest and wore a leather skirt with black boots. The second wore a similar attire with him having short dark brown hair. The last one, the oldest, appeared to be the most menacing. He had large muscles with dreadlocks. He also wore a black headband with a skull on it. He also wore a black top with a purple skull on it. He also wore denim shorts and a vest with boots. They were getting ready for their next match against Team Mystic by learning more about them, but this won't be a friendly match.

"Look at them. Playing fair and square. How boring. There's no way they really won against such a powerful opponent fairly." The middle one said.

"They could have, Alonzo. We did get creamed by that Team Void, but we'll get them back once we mess this Team Mystic up." The youngest said.

"Good point, Selena. Messing with these goodie-goodie losers is always fun. They'll learn soon enough that we play to win. Isn't that right, Aaron?" Alonzo said with them looking to the oldest.

"That's right. They're just softies." Aaron said. "They're not willing to dish it out, and they won't take the pain. Once they see what this card can do, they won't know what hits them. They'll wish they never got paired with us." He claimed as he held up one card, but there was something off about it. It had like a dark aura to it. "Ever since we got this card, I've never felt such power flow through me. I feel unstoppable and it showed." He thought back to the kind of damage he dealt in the past. He's clearly the type that is willing to hurt others to get his way, and takes pleasure and delight in it. "I'm sick of this world trying to keep us down. It's time we get out of this dump." He walked over to a window and looked around the streets with distaste and hatred. "Winning this tournament means we can finally leave this place. I'm sick of struggling, I'm sick of scrapping by, I'm sick of this place. We've been at the bottom our whole lives. Orphaned, no money, trying to get food, but dueling is how we can get out of this place. As long as we keep winning, we can finally leave this dump and live however we want. Now that we have this card, no one is going to get in our way. No more waiting around for something to happen when we can just claw our way out of here ourselves. Anyone who dares gets in the way, they're going to regret it. Since we're near the finals, I think maybe we should give this Team Wild the Rodrigo Special."

"Right." Selena said.

"Sounds good." Alonzo said. Aron has no intention of losing. He walked over to the television as it talked about Team Mystic.

"Team Mystic, you're just going to be another set of pushovers we'll crush." Aaron said and actually kicked the T.V. and caused it to fall over and had the crack run right through Yukina's face. This team has no intention of losing, but how far are they willing to go?

...

Team Wild

Once the boat finally reached Peru, Team Wild went on over to where their next match should take place. Once they arrived in the city, they went over to their hotel and wanted to get themselves ready for their match tomorrow.

"Oh yeah! I love this!" Kent said. "So, what should we order for room service?"

"Actually, we should think more about what we're going to do about our next match." Felix said. "We need to find out more about Team Rodrigo."

"I'm looking into them right now." Cindy said as she took a look. "It says here that it's a family team. That means they're siblings. We have Aaron, Alonzo, and Selena. However, I can't seem to find much more about them."

"Nothing about their dueling styles or what kind of cards they use?" Yukina questioned.

"Other than the fact that people say they can be rather harsh, brutal, and some other not so nice things; I'm afraid not." Cindy said.

"In other words, they're not going to be so nice." Felix said.

"That doesn't help. We're going in completely blind." Marcus said. "This duel is to see who is going to the finals. We can't afford to lose now, not when we're so close to being the best of the best."

"No worries." Kent said. "I'll go get the info we need. I'll go ask around and see what these people know."

"I don't think that's a good idea." Yukina said. "We're in Peru, Team Rodrigo's home country. Do you really think anyone here is going to give info about them over to us?"

"But we're on our way to the finals as well." Kent said. "Once they know not to mess with us, I'm sure they'll squeal the info."

"That sounds like you're going to intimidate them." Kent said as he was on his way out. "Just wait. I'll come back with some info on them." He claimed and just walked out.

"What got into him? Does he really think he can get anything on Team Rodrigo?" Felix questioned.

"I think he's had too many steaks go to his head if you know what I mean." Cindy said as she thought this was all silly. As for Kent, he hurried on out. He was feeling good.

"Yeah! I'll get the juice!" Kent said. "I wasn't much help, or really any help, against Team Camelot. That's why I'll be a big help now." Kent took off to find information on the opposing team, but he didn't know that Alonzo and Selena were right behind him.

"That big guy was Kent from Team Mystic, wasn't it?" Selena asked. "He only acts as a substitute for the team."

"He'll do just fine." Alonzo said. Whatever they're thinking, poor Kent might be in trouble that is bigger than him.

...

Kent

Kent hit the streets and was searching around for someone or something that could tell him about Team Rodrigo. The problem was that he couldn't really find his way around.

"Let's see. Who can tell me what?" Kent questioned. He searched around to see who might know what, and soon spotted a couple guys that might be able to help him. "Hey! Over here!" He called as he hurried over to those people. "Hey. I was wondering if you could tell me anything about Team Rodrigo."

"Team Rodrigo?!"

"Let's get out of here!" It was like the moment that Kent mentioned Team Rodrigo, they got scared and just took off.

"What was that about? I knew this wouldn't be easy, but they were acting like they were scared. I didn't even sound menacing. Did I?" Kent questioned as he thought that was rather weird.

"I'm afraid those fools wouldn't know anything about Team Rodrigo. If you really want information about them, I could tell you." He heard a female voice, but he didn't see anyone anywhere. "Lucky for you, I could tell you what you need to know." Kent kept searching until he saw the shadow of someone just around the corner, but he couldn't see the person.

"Who are you? You know some things about Team Rodrigo?" Kent asked.

"I do. Just follow me." She said and appeared to be walking away.

"Hey! Wait!" Kent called as he hurried to the corner. When he got there, he looked around for who the person might be. He did spot some girl, but she was running off. "Hey! We can't talk if you're running away from me!" He called as he chased after her. "Wait! What are you running from?!"

"Just keep moving! You never know who might be listening!" She called as she kept going. Kent continued to follow after her. What he wasn't aware of was that she was luring him further and further away from people. Kent continued to follow after her, but he was now in the slums of the place. Kent tried to to follow the shadow he saw and soon saw it as it stopped moving.

"Who are you? You said you might know something about Team Rodrigo." Kent said.

"I do. You're from Team Mystic, aren't you? I'm sure you want to know more about them."

"Duh. That's why I was following you." Kent said.

"Well, I do know something that you should know. I know a lot about Team Rodrigo, but there's one important thing you know should know about them." Kent tried to listen carefully to what she had to say. "You should know that...they're not to be messed with and are going to win no matter what!" Suddenly, some sort of blast came at Kent from behind and startled him so much that he nearly fell over his feet.

"What was that?!" Kent called.

"You getting the boot!" Kent looked and saw someone dive down at him and actually kicked Kent right in the face with him getting knocked over.

"What's the big idea?!" Kent called as he saw who attacked them. He saw that Alonzo was the one that attacked him and that Selena was the one that he was following.

"You said you wanted to know more about Team Rodrigo, didn't you? Well, what better way to know more about us than to actually face us." Selena said.

"You two are part of Team Rodrigo?!" Kent questioned. After what happened earlier, Kent has a feeling that he might be in real trouble.

...

The Hotel

The others have been waiting for Kent to come back, but there's nothing. They haven't heard from him and he hasn't come back. It's starting to make them all a little worried.

"I don't like this. Kent's been gone for too long." Felix said. "I think we should go and look for him."

"Agreed. We need to find him." Yukina said. They're all rather worried about Kent. Hopefully, they can find him before it's too late.

...

Kent

Kent really was in trouble. He might be big and tough, but the Rodrigos are crafty. They're either using their cards to attack Kent or using the surrounding area to hurt him, and they're not even giving him a chance to fight back. Kent tried to run for it, but the Rodrigo siblings isn't letting him go. Another attack came at him from behind and he was knocked off his feet.

"This guy isn't all that tough." Alonzo said as he and Selena were careful not to get too close to him. "He's really just a big pushover."

"That's what you think!" Kent called. "What's the big idea attacking me like this?! If you wanted to duel me, just face me!"

"But if we do that, you'll figure out how to beat us, and we want to win." Selena said as she dived down and stomped down on Kent's head.

"That's right. We want to win, and we'll crush you and your friends. So, just stay still like a good big target and let us keep hitting you." Alonzo said as he walked over to Kent and actually kicked him while he's down.

"Come here!" Kent called as he tried to grab Alonzo, but Alonzo stayed out of his reach.

"You can't catch us. We've been surviving our whole lives." Selena claimed. Kent wasn't getting anywhere like this. He just got up and tried to take off "Hey! We're not done with you, you oversized wimp!" She called and chased after him.

"Selena, wait!" Alonzo called, but she didn't listen. When Selena rounded a corner to go after Kent, Kent surprised her and got a hold of her.

"I've got you now!" Kent called. "I knew you tried to go after me. Now I have you right where I want you."

"Put her down!" Alonzo called.

"Not until you bullies let me walk." Kent said. "I see that you're trying to sabotage my team, but it's not going to happen. We duel honorable and with heart, unlike you creeps. That's why you won't stand a chance."

"I wouldn't be so sure." Kent suddenly felt someone grab his shirt. Next thing he knew was that he had to let Selena go and he was thrown harshly against a wall.

"Who did that?" Kent questioned. He got intimidated now as he was met with Aaron.

"Its not smart to mess with us." Aaron said. To back up that claim, there was some sort of dark and terrifying monster behind him.

"What is that thing?!" Kent said.

"Malicious Fiend: Savage Titan." Aaron said and Kent couldn't believe what he just heard. Suddenly, a large explosion went off that didn't go unnoticed by Yukina.

"What was that?!" Yukina questioned. Whatever Aaron did, it was devastating.

"You two are still soft. You should have been finished with him sooner." Aaron claimed.

"Sorry, Aaron." Alonzo said as they hated to have let him down. Then, Aaron looked down at a battered Kent.

"You're soft, too." Aaron said and actually had the nerve to stomp down on Kent's arm and actually kicked his deck so that his cards would be scattered everywhere. After that, they just took off and left him there.

"It was right around here!" Yukina called as she led the others to where she heard the explosion. That was where they found Kent in a bad state.

"Kent!" Cindy called.

"What happened?!" Felix said as they couldn't believe it.

"Kent! Wake up! Kent!" Yukina called. This was only the beginning. Team Rodrigo clearly wants to win, and they'll do whatever it takes to do just that.
