New York City

August 3, 07:38 EDT

It was just a normal day, and a school bus was driving over Brooklyn Bridge when suddenly the support gave way. The bridge cables fell onto the road, and every single car suddenly stopped, but the school bus crashed into the side.

Then, an Oscorp truck and several cars crashed into one another, knocking the school bus off the edge of the bridge. The children inside were screaming as they were teetering over the edge.

It was then that Hulk arrived, jumping from building to building. However, he made sure to grab hold of the cables before landing on the ground so as not to damage the bridge further. He then grabbed the school bus and dragged it back onto the bridge.

However, A-Bomb arrived and wasn't nearly as careful as Hulk. When he hit the ground, everything started to shake, damaging the already unstable bridge.

"A-Bomb, your landing could destabilise the entire bridge!" Hulk yelled.

"But it didn't," said A-Bomb.

"But it could have," said Hulk, crossing his arms. "It's only been a few months since the accident, and we still don't know your upper limits."

"Well, maybe we would if you allowed me to take chances," A-Bomb argued.

Hulk was about to answer when he got a message on his radio. "This is Hulk! Hawkeye, this had better be important! You'll be attacked by what? I'm available; just give me the coordinates." He then looked back at A-Bomb. "We'll have to discuss this later."

Hulk then jumped, leaving behind a very annoyed A-Bomb.

Avengers Compound

August 3, 13:06 EDT

The Secret Warriors had gathered, and both Torch and Spider-Man were playing a holographic version of their hockey, and Torch had just won.

"Recognised: A-Bomb… B04!" said the computer, and A-Bomb exited out of the zeta tube.

"So how was New York, A-Bomb?" Crystal asked.

A-Bomb just walked past them without saying a word.

"That well, huh?" said Spider-Man.

They then heard a cough and saw Captain America had arrived for their first training session.

"I hope you soldiers are ready for training," he said.

"Hey, Cap," said Patriot.

Captain America then noticed A-Bomb walking off. "Stick around, son. Class is in session."

A-Bomb stopped in his tracks and folded his arms.

Captain America then stepped onto the training simulator and activated it. "Now, to be clear, I'm not pulling any punches with any of you, just like my old drill sergeant. You're going to experience everything that I had learned out in the field…" He winced, grasping his arm, "as well for my bruises."

"You all right, Cap?" Patriot asked.

"I'm fine, just took a few scrapes out in the field," he said as he stretched his arms. "Now, it is about controlling conflict, putting the battle on your terms. You should always be acting and never reacting. I'm going to need a sparring partner."

"I'll give it a go," said Torch.

"Good, but bear in mind this is close, which means no powers," Captain America reminded him.

"Fine by me, old timer," said Torch as he raised his fists.

Captain America instantly swung a jab at him, but Torch was able to block it. However, he was unable to block the leg sweep, and seconds later, he found himself on his back.

"What happened?" Torch groaned.

"Good block, but did anyone see what he did wrong?" Captain America asked.

"He dissed Captain America and then got served," said Spider-Man.

"Dude!" Torch glared.

Captain America chuckled. "He allowed me to dictate the terms of—"

"Oh, please," said A-Bomb, rolling his eyes. "I'm a Hulk; that means all the battles on my terms. And this is a waste of my time."

"Then prove it," Captain America challenged.

A-Bomb stepped up to the plate, and Torch quickly vacated the area. A-Bomb then from the first punch, but Captain America grabbed his arm, tossed him right over his shoulders, and landed flat on the ground.

A-Bomb got up, looking at Captain America furiously.

"You're angry… good," he said. "But don't react. Channel that anger into—"

A-Bomb wasn't listening and charged again at Captain America, swinging his fist. However, he quickly somersaulted over him and then formed a leg sweep, knocking him flat on the ground a second time.

Captain America offered a hand to help him, but A-Bomb knocked his hand aside.

"I'm done!" he said, getting up on his own.

"Training is mandatory," Captain America reminded him.

Fortunately, they were interrupted by a transmission from Black Widow.

"Black Widow to Avengers Compound," she said, and everyone instantly gathered in front of her. "Five hours ago, a new menace attacked both me and Hawkeye." Then, next to her, an image of an android appeared, which was pure white. "The attacker was capable of studying and then duplicating the powers and abilities of its opponents."

They then watched a recording as Hulk came charging in, but the android blocked the attack and tossed him easily into Vision and Iron Man. He then fired a repulser of the blast, knocking back Captain America's shield as it came flying in.

"Hawkeye called in reinforcements, which nearly proved disastrous as our foe gained more and more power with each new combatant," Black Widow continued.

"Whoa, one guy with the powers of the Avengers," Torch gasped.

"Imagine if it attacked the X-Men instead," said Spider-Man.

"In the end, it took eight Avengers four hours to defeat and dismantle the android," said Black Widow.

"But who made it?" Patriot asked.

"Iron Man and Vision examine the remains, and the technology bears a resemblance to the works of Spencer Smythe," said Black Widow.

Spider-Man's eyes lit up. "Smythe?! But he's dead; I was there myself."

"You know this guy?" Torch asked.

"Spencer Smythe was a very skilled engineer and roboticist," Spider-Man explained as he pulled out the image of an old man. "J Jonah Jameson actually hired him to create a series of robots he called Spider-Slayers, and I'll give you three guesses what they were for."

"Obviously, they weren't able to crush you, so what happened," Patriot asked, folding his arms.

"I managed to track down the robots to their source, and a battle ensued, resulting in the destruction of the warehouse," Spider-Man explained. "I tried to rescue him, but I couldn't reach him."

"Well, now he's back, and it looks like he wants revenge," said Torch.

"No, this is something else," said Spider-Man. "If you want revenge on me, then why have his android attack the Avengers."

"A good question, but that is not the mission," said Black Widow. "In order to make certain that this threat is permanently neutralised, we are sending two trucks carrying the android's parts to two separate Stark Industry labs in Boston and New York for immediate evaluation. Every precaution is being taken. We will have four additional decoy trucks to create confusion in case Smythe or anyone tries to recover the remains. You will split into undercover teams that safeguard the two real trucks."

"Looks like we're going on a road trip," Torch smiled.

"So now we're taking out your trash now," said A-Bomb with little enthusiasm.

"You had something better to do?" Black Widow asked.

Spider-Man received the coordinates. "Coordinates received. We're on our way."

Everyone began making their way to the zeta tubes, but Captain America grabbed A-Bomb's arm.

"When you're ready, I'll be," he said.

A-Bomb left without saying a single word.

Lichfield Country

August 3, 20:08 EDT

The android had been taken apart and loaded into the trucks under the observation of the Avengers. The Secret Warriors were hiding in the trees on bikes; they were going to pretend to be normal motorcyclists and keep close to the trucks carrying the parts.

"Stark Boston is a go!"

"Stark Manhattan is go!"

Captain America then gave the order, and the trucks moved out. Seconds later, the Secret Warriors followed them. Spider-Man and A-Bomb followed the trucks heading to Manhattan while the others followed the one heading to Boston.

They all went their separate ways once the trucks hit the main road.

"Okay, something's bothering you, Rick," said Spider-Man as he drove alongside him. "And I think it's the mission."

"It's Cap," A-Bomb grumbled. "Anyone business does he have teaching combat skills to a guy with super strength and impenetrable armour?"

"I had to take down more powerful foes, Rhino, Lizard, Scorpion, and I couldn't use pure strength against them. Both me and Cap had to learn that the hard way."

A-Bomb didn't appear to like that answer, and that is why engines are moving away from him.

Spider-Man sighed. "This is going to be enjoyable."

Patriot and his team were following their truck that was heading for Boston.

"Is A-Bomb all right?" Crystal asked. "He seemed to be more angry than normal."

"Just give him a little space, babe," Torch smiled.

"A-Bomb just needs time to call off," said Patriot. "Maybe a quiet mission clears his head."

They were driving past some corn fields when the corn began to move on its own. Suddenly, the robots shaped like spiders shot out. They instantly flew past David and his group and attached themselves to the truck.

"Spider-Man! A-Bomb! Our truck is under attack!" Patriot reported.

"We kinda figured," said Spider-Man as he and A-Bomb witnessed a similar robot attacking their truck.

The robotic spiders began calling their way all over the truck, making it harder for the driver to see and causing him to lose control of his truck.

"Robots, spiders," Spider-Man sighed. "That is definitely Smythe style."

He then pressed a button on his motorcycle and began to tuck in the front wheel. The back separated, forming an attack drone.

Spider-Man then noticed that A-Bomb wasn't doing the same thing. "Hey, switch your bike to battle mode!"

"No point," said A-Bomb sternly.

He then transformed and jumped off his bike, skidded away, nearly struck Spider-Man, and landed on the truck. Spider-Man had a jump office by quickly firing some webbing, pulling himself onto the truck as well, and then quickly kicking one of the robot's spiders.

A-Bomb quickly began smashing the spiders, but they were starting to overwhelm him.

Spider-Man had stuck to the back of the truck and began smashing the spiders there while his drone provided cover fire. Unfortunately, the spiders landed on top of the drone, causing it to crash to the ground.

A-Bomb used pure strength to throw the spiders off, but one of them fired a laser straight into his eyes. This attack blinded him, allowing the spiders to grab hold of him and throw him off the truck. He got it, but his vision was quite badly blurred. Regardless, he set out after the truck.

Patriot and his team were engaging the spider bot attacking their truck. Patient activated the battle mode on his bike and began tossing his shield at the spiders. A few of the spiders attached themselves to Torch and Crystal's bikes, and while Crystal was able to blow the spiders off her bike with some wind, Torch immediately took off, burning through his biking leathers.

"Somebody help!" the driver cried.

They managed to cut through the roof of the truck, and the garden inside immediately began shooting at them. Torch then flew at them and fired several fireballs at them, destroying them instantly.

Crystal drove alongside the truck and began firing bolts of electricity at the spiders there, and Patriot focused on the boss on the back of the truck. However, the driver was getting overwhelmed by the spider bots blocking his windscreen.

Torch quickly flew over towards the front of the van and began blasting the spider bots, making sure not to melt the windscreen, though the flames did freak out the driver.

A spider bot violated the destroyed Crystal's bike, but she quickly fired off a blast of wind and landed on top of the van while blasting the bottom side with bolts of electricity. Once on the roof, she met up with Torch, who landed in front of her.

Spider bots then suddenly swarmed out of the van and quickly attacked them. While they were busy dealing with them as a group, the spider bot managed to burn a hole out of the back of the van and flew off with the android parts.

Patriot quickly skidded to a halt, but he could do nothing except watch them fly away.

Spider-Man was still attacking the box on his truck and just managed to climb onto the roof. He fired some webbing at one of the bots and began spinning around, using it like a wrecking ball against the others.

A-Bomb then suddenly landed on the roof of the truck, but he was still blinded by the lasers from earlier. He began tearing through any spider bot that clung onto him, but a small group of them made their way to the wheels of the truck and destroyed the tyres with their lasers.

The driver was doing his best to maintain control but lost the battle. Spider-Man then leaned over and looked at him upside down.

"I think this is gonna be our stop," he said.

He quickly tore off the truck's door and grabbed the driver, jumping into the cornfield before the truck crashed with the A-Bomb still on it. The truck rolled into a ladder on its roof, and the spider bot inside burst out of the back, carrying the android parts.

Spider-Man had just emerged from the cornfield with the driver; he put him down in time to see the spider bots flying off with the android parts. A-Bomb was beneath the truck, but he was able to push it off him, and his eyesight began to return. He watched as the spider bots flew off and then quickly jumped after them.

"A-Bomb!" Spider-Man yelled.

"Patriot to Spider-Man," said Patriot over the comm. "We've lost our cargo. Did you—"

"It's gone," Spider-Man sighed. "And my partner is going after them alone." He then reached for his radio and began contacting A-Bomb. "A-Bomb, this is Spider-Man. Radio your position, and we'll help you."

"I don't need help; don't want any!" A-Bomb snapped and dropped his comm.

Spider-Man sighed. "And that was him ditching his comm."

"Great, now we can't track him," Torch muttered.

"What do we do now?" Crystal asked. "If this Doctor Smythe is still alive seems to be two steps ahead of us."

"Should we contact Vision?" Patriot asked on his comm.

"Vision always tells us to handle things ourselves," said Spider-Man. "And we can still complete the mission if we can recover the parts."

"That's great, Webhead, but in case you forgot, we don't know where they're headed," Torch reminded him.

"I have an idea," said Spider-Man as he bent down towards the destroyed spider bot and began to hack its navigational data. "We would have heard already that the other trucks had been attacked. That means these spiders knew which trucks to attack."

A holographic map of the spider's eyes then appeared. "I knew it. The parts had GPS. The spiders can track the signal, which means I can now track them with the one I captured. It looks like both sets of parts are converging at…" His eyes widened. "New York City?!"

"That far south?" Patriot stared. "We will be able to get there any time soon."

"I can fly really fast, you know," Torch pointed out.

"True, but if the android is put back together, it will become even more difficult to defeat if it copies your powers," said Patriot. "But you can carry me down there and then come back for Crystal."

"In the meantime, I'll continue to follow the signal," said Spider-Man. "Spider-Man out."

He then picked up the remains of the spider bot and activated the auto control on his bike.

"Well, so much for a quiet mission," he sighed.

New York City

August 3, 21:21 EDT

The spider bots were flying towards a train passing New York City, carrying the android parts. They entered one of the wagons, where more spider bots opened the door to let them through.

A-Bomb landed on top of the wagon and instantly ripped the roof apart so he could enter insight. There, he found the crates carrying the android parts, which were empty; he saw a young man sitting in a wheelchair with a legion of spider bots behind him.

"Oh, hello," he said.

A-Bomb raised an eyebrow. "'You?' Your Spencer Smythe?"

"No, I'm his son, Alistair," said the young man. "If you know my father, then you know that he died because of Spider-Man. He is also the reason I'm in this wheelchair."

"From what I heard, your father hunted him down," said A-Bomb, folding his arms.

Alistair glared at him. "My father was a great man, trying to prove that you superpowered freaks are a danger to everyone around you."

He then sat his fingers in the spider bot and immediately attacked A-Bomb, but he easily smashed into bits.

"Access Iron Man," said a voice.

A-Bomb was suddenly blasted by a repulsor blast and was sent flying at the back of the wagon.

Alistair smiled as the android that had battled the Avengers stepped out of the shadows. "If my spider bots don't float your boat, maybe my Adaptoid will better suit you or better slay you."

A-Bomb picked himself up and raised his fists. "Give me your best shot."

Alistair laughed. "Please. My android has the strength of the Hulk. What chance do you have?"

A-Bomb narrowed his eyes when he heard the word 'Hulk' and instantly swung his fist at the Adaptoid, but it easily blocked the attacks and then grabbed his fist.

"I see I struck a nerve there," Alistair smiled. "Adaptoid, strike a few more."

Adaptoid punched A-Bomb hard, hitting him towards the ceiling in the lad and one of the empty crates.

"Access Captain America," said Adaptoid.

A shield appeared around his right arm; he tossed it, striking A-Bomb straight in the jaw, sending him crashing to the other side of the wagon.

"Access Thor," said Adaptoid.

Then, appearing in his right hand was a hammer, and he shot right in front of A-Bomb, striking him with a hammer repeatedly until he collapsed.

"I have to say I was expecting more from a Hulk," Alistair sneered. "I suppose this is the reason why Banner holds you back; you're a complete embarrassment."

A-Bomb then swung his fist at Adaptoid.

"Vision," said Adaptoid and suddenly became intangible.

A-Bomb's face went straight through him, and the momentum caused him to spin around. He turned around just in time to be punched in the face and go straight through the wagon. He landed on a flatbed carrying an excavator.

Apaptoid followed him. "Access Hulk."

He then grabbed A-Bomb, lifting him off his feet. With one good punch, he sent him flying towards New York City, or, more specifically, a high school in Queens.

Adaptoid then turned to Alistair.

"Finish him. Priority alpha," he ordered.

Adaptoid then jumped into the air after him.

Spider-Man and Patriot, both in hero costumes, had just reached the New York City limits. Patriot was now riding A-Bomb's bike, which had taken some beating but was still functional.

"Good thing A-Bomb's bike wasn't too badly damaged," said Spider-Man.

"Yeah, but it'll take a while for Johnny and Crystal to catch up with us," said Patriot. "So where are the parts exactly?"

"They were heading through New York, but they veered off into Queens," said Spider-Man, looking at the holo map and instantly recognised their location. "You've got to be kidding me. They're at my school?"

Sure enough, A-Bomb had landed in Midtown High, and A-Bomb had just crashed into a trophy case with a picture of Peter earning a science award. Adaptoid then walked up to the beaten-up A-Bomb and began spinning him around, and he crashed into some lockers.

A-Bomb picked himself up and saw a picture of Hulk, with hearts on it, hanging on the door of an open locker. Frustrated, he slammed his fist into the door, denting it before charging at Adaptoid again.

Sadly, Adaptoid blocked his attack, punched him, and crashed into one of the science labs. He flew after him just as he hit the wall, and A-Bomb merely narrowed his eyes at him.

"That… all you got?" A-Bomb winced.

Adaptoid then raised his hand. "Access Iron Man."

He then blasted A-Bomb with a neighbour a repulsor blast, hitting him with so much force that he crashed through the wall and landed in the gym. A-Bomb heard clapping and looked up to see Alistair sitting in the stands, smirking.

"I don't usually attend these things in person, but this was too good to miss," he said.

"Access Hulk," said Adaptoid.

A-Bomb pulled himself up for a number around, and soon, the two of them would be trading blows again. However, Adaptoid's attacks were far stronger and better focused, so he soon got the upper hand. He finally knocked A-Bomb to the ground and was about to deal the final blow when Spider-Man swooped in, fired some webbing at A-Bomb, and quickly pulled him to safety.

"Yonk!" he said.

He then placed A-Bomb down at the fire exit doors where Patriot stood, who tossed his shield at Adaptoid.

"Vision," said Adaptoid, becoming intangible.

The shield passed right through him and bounced off the wall until it returned to Patriot.

"Access Falcon," said Adaptoid, and a pair of wings sprouted behind him.

He then began to take off, eating a tornado, sending it straight towards them, sending them all flying. Spider-Man was the only one who was able to land with any grace but was now standing in front of Adaptoid.

"Access Iron Man," said Adaptoid, firing a repulser and blasting him.

Spider-Man quickly somersaulted, dodging the attack.

"You know I was hoping you would show up eventually, Spider-Man," said Alistair, smiling. "I wanted my masterpiece to completely destroy you specifically; I was hoping to wait until it had copied the powers of other superheroes, but now is as good as time as any. Adaptoid, mimic his powers."

"Access Spider-Man," said Adaptoid.

He then jumped in the air and attempted to fire some webbing, but nothing came out, and he nearly crashed to the floor. He was able to pick himself up. However, Spider-Man quickly kicked him in the face and knocked him back.

Alistair looked immensely frustrated. "It would seem as if the chemical compound in your wedding is too complex for even my Adaptoid to copy, and he seems incapable of mimicking your spidey sense. Never mind, he still has enough power to eliminate you."

"Hulk," said Adaptoid quickly, grabbing A-Bomb's fears and trying to attack in a surprise manoeuvre.

He punched him in the face, sending him to crash into the stands.

Patient then quickly tossed his shield at Adaptoid.

"Falcon," said Adaptoid, and he quickly fired several feathered projectiles that knocked his shield away. He then fired more at Patient, who quickly dodged out of the way. Spider-Man then swooped in, but Adaptoid grabbed him. "Hulk."

He then began squeezing Spider-Man, who felt like he was about to be ripped in two. Adaptoid then saw an arrow flying straight towards him.

"Vision," he said and became intangible.

He managed to dodge the arrow, and by becoming intangible, Spider-Man was able to fade right through him. Spider-Man somersaulted out of the way, and A-Bomb charged at Adaptoid.

"Access Captain America," said Adaptoid.

He quickly grabbed A-Bomb's arm and flung him over his shoulder, pulling him to crash into the stands opposite Alistair. Patient managed to grab his shield and tossed it at him, but he ducked in time to avoid it.

"Iron Man," said Adaptoid, firing a repulser at him.

Spider-Man quickly swooped in and pulled Patriot to safety just before the attack struck. However, the shock wave caused them to crash to the floor.

A-Bomb was picking himself out from the wreckage of the stands, and you could see that they were in trouble. It was then that he realised what Captain America and Spider-Man meant.

"Access Captain America," he said.

"Oh, yawn," said Alistair, looking bored. "You know, I was hoping to see a lot more effort, but I really shouldn't be surprised. It took eight Avengers eight hours to take down my Adaptoid; what chance do you three children have."

"So everyone keeps saying," A-Bomb smirked. "It makes me angry!"

He suddenly launched into the air directly over Adaptoid and headed straight towards Alistair, who quickly rolled out of the way.

"What to see me channel that anger?" A-Bomb roared.

"Not the perfect time to go on full Hulk," said Patriot.

"Maybe not," said Spider-Man as he realised what A-Bomb was attempting.

Alistair soon realised that he made a mistake coming here in person. "Adaptoid, protect your master. Priority alpha."

He then pulled down the stands just as A-Bomb attacked him again.

"Iron Man," said Adaptoid and fired a repulsor blast at A-Bomb.

Alistair's spiders then picked him up.

"How about we play a little game of keep away?" said Spider-Man as he kicked Alistair across the room.

"Oh, I sure do," said Patriot as he rushed over to Alistair.

"Access Hulk," said Adaptoid.

He then slammed his foot on the ground, sending a shockwave, but Patriot did not get back. Spider-Man then fired some webbing at him.

"Vision," said Adaptoid, becoming intangible, and the webs just went right through him. A-Bomb then landed right in front of him and swung his fist. "Hulk."

However, A-Bomb just managed to put his fist through his head just as he became tangible again. A few seconds later, his head exploded, and his body collapsed to the ground.

"I'll disassemble him!" said Spider-Man, rushing over to the android body.

"Where's Smythe?" Patriot asked.

"If you mean this guy, he's right here," said Torch as he and Crystal arrived carrying Alistair.

"He tried to crawl away, but we caught him," Crystal smiled.

Patriot and looked at A-Bomb. "You okay, Jones?"

A-Bomb picked himself up, so little beaten up from the battle. "I'm fine."

He then looked at Spider-Man and gave him a small smile, who smiled back.

"One question though, who fired that arrow?" Patriot frowned.

Avengers Compound

August 4, 01:06 EDT

The Secret Warriors have now returned after handing Alistair Smythe to the polities and making sure that the Adaptoids part was successfully delivered to the two separate Stark Industry labs. Spider-Man was now giving their full report on the mission.

"The Adaptoid android is in pieces again, safely being analysed at the two separate Stark Industry labs," said Spider-Man. "We also apprehended the Adaptoid's creator, Alistair Smythe and handed him over to SHIELD, and is no doubt serving time within the Vault."

"Well, it sounds like you soldiers had a busy night," Captain America smiled.

"That when it mildly, though more than one or two complications in this mission," said Iron Man.

"Complications come with the job," said Black Widow, looking at them all. "Your ability to handle it has impressed many parties."

"Impressed, who exactly?" A-Bomb asked.

Black Widow gave a small smile. "Bruce is more than happy with your performance; the same could be said for Hulk. Though he would never admit it, Hulks, as you know, are very hardheaded."

A-Bomb just gave a small smile.

"That said, there is no shame in asking for help," said Captain America. "After all, that is why the Avengers were formed in the first place: because there are problems we can't handle individually."

"Please," Johnny scoffed. "If we needed help, we'd never get the chance to ask."

"Someone shot this," said Patriot, holding out a narrow, giving it to Hawkeye.

"You were following us!" Johnny accused. "Babysitting! You still don't trust us!"

"We didn't follow you," said Black Widow.

Hawkeye then took out one of his arrows, and they saw that the arrowhead was very different.

"And that's not your arrow," Johnny blinked.

"Okay, then, who saved me?" Spider-Man asked.

"We'll look into it," Black Widow assured him.

A-Bomb then approached Captain America and cleared his throat. "I'm ready."

"Good," Captain America smiled. "Because I'm here."

Richard Jones was born in 1994; he came from a tough family and eventually ran away from home. In 2005, on a dare, he made his way to a testing ground where there was just a new form of gamma radiation.

The chief scientist Bruce Banner managed to save him before the bomb went off, but he himself had been exposed to the radiation and became the Hulk. Feeling guilty for what happened to Bruce, Rick began following him around.

Six months prior to forming the Secret Warriors, Rick was exposed to gamma radiation, became a blue Hulk, and named himself A-Bomb. Out of a sense of guilt, Hulk began training him.

His armour is tougher than steel, but he's not as strong as Hulk himself. He can call himself into a ball, forming a sort of wrecking ball, as well as the ability to turn himself invisible.

Bruce Banner, a.k.a. Hulk, born in 1978, was exposed to massive amounts of gamma radiation in 2005. The U.S. Army began hunting him aggressively throughout the entire country, wanting to recreate the accident that made the Hulk.

Bruce tried for a few years to cure himself but gave up in the end. Instead, he decided to find a way to make the world except for Hulk and saw the Avengers as an ideal group to watch the Hulk in case anything did go wrong.

As Bruce Banner, he's possibly one of the most intelligent men on the planet. While not as smart, Hulk makes up for it in pure strength. The angrier he gets, the stronger he becomes, and his skin is incredibly dense, making him invulnerable to practically anything.
