About two years later,a few days before Annabeth got kidnapped by Dr.Thorn,I got my most important mission,and my last in Europe/Asia.Chiron has been telling me about Kronos' rising and Luke's betrayal.He also told me about Thalia's return.So I got some information from a cloud nymph,that some monster's have token over an abandoned nuclear launch site,and plan to use that to nuke Camp Half-Blood.Not on my watch.So I booked a plane to get to Russia,and stole a car to drive me to the edge of Russia.It was near Alaska,the most eastern part of Russia,when I found the launch site.There was about two cyclops guarding the front door,with three dracnae patrolling.I couldn't just charge in there,so I guess I have to take them out covertly.One dracnae was near the ledge,so I snuck up behind her before quickly shoving her off.The other two dracnae were talking about something on the other side of the building,so I snuck behind them and stabbed one in the back.The last dracnae was turning around to face me,but I quickly put a hand to on her mouth and snapped her neck.They both disintegrated and I climbed a ledge until I was directly over the two Cyclopes guarding the front door.I dropped down and shot one,before landing right on one and stabbing it in the neck.They both collapsed,and I quickly hid it somebody heard the commotion.Nobody did.I found the fishy,but I thought what the hell.I walked in the nuclear plant,and immediately had a sword at my throat.The person hissed,"Turn around and put your hands in your head."I complied and sighed,"You really want to go that way?"

"Why not?I have a sword at your neck and my friend back there has a bow and is ready to fire it right at you."

I smiled and quickly kneed him in the groin.The other guy fired the arrow,but I quickly slipped behind the one I kicked in the groin and maneuvered him to where the arrow is.It pierced him right through,and I quickly pulled out my gun and shot the archer.I quickly activated my blade and ran off.There were a couple of enemies's that popped up,but I killed them relatively quickly.When I got to the launch chamber,I saw a nuclear bomb on the launch pad but not activated,meaning that they haven't started the cooldown yet.I was about to plant some bombs when I heard a voice behind me,"Stop mortal."l turned around and saw this reptile lady there,glowering at me.And at her side was the Chimera.I smiled,"Hi."The reptile lady snarled at me,"Let us see if you can do better than the other hero.When Kronos takes over,I shall have control of the world,and my babies can roam free!"

"Your Echinda.The anteater."

She snarled at me,"I hate it when people call me that!Attack."It didn't take long for me to realize what she was talking about.As soon as I heard the words,I dove out the way.The Chimera lunged at open air,and I landed heavily on my side.I scrambled up and tried to stab its neck,but my blade bounced off of its collar.The Chimera's snake tail tried to bite me,but I lunged backwards and shot the tail clean off.The Chimera hissed in pain,and Echinda screamed,"Get him!Make him suffer." He turned toward me and started breathing fire at me.I rolled out the way,but its paws racked my chest,giving me three huge cuts in my chest.The Chimera suddenly lunged at me,and I walked it with my gun to no avail.It opened its mouth,but before it could so stabbed it with my blade.It hit its middle head,and it stopped it just enough for me to shove it away and to fire some shots at it.It collapsed on the floor,dead.Echinda snarled at me,"You will suffer for this."I grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up,"No I am not.You are going to die.I shoved my gun in her face and fired.She slumped down,and I dropped her.I sheathed my gun and blades,and started to rip open the control panel.Once I ripped out random circuits,I turned around and saw the Chimera's collar just sitting there,a spoil of war.I picked it up,and then a familiar voice behind me spoke,"And we meet again."I turned around and took off my hood,"Hello Zoè.What brings you here."She walked toward me and pointed at the collar at my hand,"That."

"You mean the Chimera?Well I beat you to that job."

My adrenaline was fading,and I could feel the pain from my cuts grow.I didn't let is show on my face,but Zoè pointed at it,"I see you are wounded."I shrugged,"I will be fine.Well if that is all,I will be leaving."I turned to leave,but before I could,Zoè grabbed my arm,"Wait.I have a favor to ask."I turned around,"What is it?Need a male salve to clean the laundry."Zoe snorted,"Of course not."Zoè seemed to realize she was stilll grabbing my arm and let go,"Come with me,Lady Artemis wants to speak with you."

When I got to the camp,a ton of the Hunters were giving me dirty looks and whispering to themselves.Zoè pointed to the tent in the middle,"Artemis's tent."I walked in and sat down in a random chair.I have token off my cloak to let my wound get more air in,so I had it bundled in my hands.Artemis nodded at me,"I see you have killed Lykaon.But is has costed you."I touched my scars around my blind eye,"I think it makes me look quite distinguished.Know why have I been sent here again?I know you and your Hunter's hate men."Artemis shrugged,"You are a great fighter,and the only male hero I know that is somewhat respectable.We need your help."I rose an eyebrow,"And what do you need my help with?"

"A Manticore.It is a deadly beast.And we might need your help with it."

I frowned,"You know,that offer is tempting expect for two reasons.One,you have an army with you.What good will I do?And two,the other Hunter's clearly hate me.I don't want to get murdered."

"You know if you decline,I have to turn you into a jackalope."

I sighed,"Fine.But how are we going to get there?"Artemis smiled,"Like this."She snapped her fingers,and suddenly I was sitting on a log.I quickly got back in my cloak,and doubled over with pain as the wounds started to flare up again.Zoè walked over to me,"Take this.It will numb the pain."I snatched the syringe and stabbed it in my neck.The pain faded a little,and I glanced at Zoè,"What just happened?"

"Lady Artemis must have teleported all the Hunters to where the beast's scent is.The rest of the Hunters are about 100 yards east from here."

I grunted in pain as I stood up,"Best we get going then."Zoè frowned,"You are in no condition to..."

"Your fake concern is touching.Lets just go and kill something.That always makes me feel better."

Zoè's eyes hardened,"Very well."We started walking back to the Hunter camp.

By the time I got there,the Hunters were all ready getting geared up for a fight.Artemis glanced at me,"The Manicore is at the nearby school.It looks like they are holding captives.We must be cautious."Zoè nodded,"Of course my lady.Charge!"I blinked and started running after the Hunter's.I caught up to them easily and rose an eyebrow at Zoè,"This is caution."When glanced at me,"Of course this is."I rolled my eyes and pulled up my hood,"At least you remember my English lessons."We saw a clearing in the woods as I saw a bunch of teenagers fighting the manicore.Except I recognized these teens.Percy Jackson was side by side with Thalia Grace,and Grover Underwood had a tin can and was about to throw it.Annabeth Chase was riding on the manicore's neck,and the other two teens I didn't know where cowering in the corner.Percy yelled something at us,but I couldn't hear it.I leaped to the battle field and started to shoot the manicore,a shot pierced its leg,and it hissed and threw spikes from its tail at me.I sliced one away with my blade,and the Hunter's used this opportunity to shoot some arrows at the manicore.I glanced at the helicopter of ing above use,spun my gun twice,and fired.A huge explosion happened as I blew up the helicopter,and it started raining debris in the sea.The manicore hissed,then jumped into the ocean,with Annabeth still on his back.

The next five minutes were me trying to calm down Percy and all the other people down.I then tried to stop Zoè from murdering Thalia and to not slap Percy.(For some reason she seems to hate all men but me)Once that got almost set up,me,Percy,and Thalia were sitting out in the cold.I took off my hood,and Percy suddenly blurted out,"How did you loss your eye?"I touched my scars and smiled,"Lykaon's minions.Don't worry,I killed Lykaon."Thalia frowned,"The bigger question is how you are with the Hunters and they haven't killed you."I shrugged,"Been wondering that myself."Then the other younger kid ran over to us,"You guys are half god?Cool!"Percy glanced at him,"Yes we are Nico."I coughed,"Actually,I am not.I am a legacy of pretty much every single god though."Percy wrinkled his nose,"You look familiar.Have we meet?"

"Once.When your mom died.No need to explain.Chiron has been keeping me posted on what's going on in the USA."

Thalia frowned,"You aren't from the US?"I started to put my blade out and off randomly,"I am Georgia born,but after a bunch of disasters happened,I went to Camp Half-Blood.I went to kill Lykaon is Germany,then having been doing missions in Europe and Asia.I am the only reason you haven't been nuked yet."Thalia pointed at my gun,"You use a gun?"I nodded,"Better than those toothpicks you guys use."Before I could say anything else,Artemis came out to ask for Percy,and I decided to bunk out.

It was very early in the morning when I heard a voice call outside,"Paul,wake up!We got to go."I grunted and grabbed my cloak,"Yeah,just give me a second."Once I got dressed,I saw Zoè standing there,"Took you long enough."I rolled my eyes,"Shut up.What are we waiting for?"Percy suddenly ran over to me,"Hey Paul!I need to tell you something!"Zoè suddenly frowned,"I will leave you two be."When started walking away and Percy sighed,"You know,I don't think she likes me."I smiled and clasped his shoulder,"She hates every man.Just be glad I taught her proper English,or else she would have been speaking like a pirate."

"Huh.Anyway,we are leaving to Camp Half-Blood.We are going on Apollo's sun chariot.Can you believe that."

I grabbed my gun and started spinning it around my pointer finger,"Yes I can.So,how is life going?"Percy shrugged,"Sucking,with the war with Kronos and all that,but at least my mom is doing okay.How about you?Any parents to visit?"I shook my head,"My folks are dead.Been dead for a long time."Percy frowned,and we stayed silent all the way to where everybody else was.

When we got there,I searched my pouch until I found some painkillers and swallowed them dry.The scars on my chest bothered me,but they will pass in about a day,leaving me with some new scars.Thalia walked up to me,"Hey."I grabbed a syringe and stabbed it in my neck,"Sup."She pointed at my syringe,"Chest scratch's still bother you?"I nodded,"It will leave a hell of a scar,but it will pass.Why do you hate the Hunters so much?"Thalia sighed,"They wanted me to join them and leave Luke,especially Zoè.The hypocrite,with you hanging around them.No offense."

"I can see why you are mad at them,but that is water under the bridge.If you guys keep at each other's throats,we are going to be in trouble."Thalia glared at me,but before he could say anything,a flash of light appeared in front of us.It looked like a fancy car,but to be honest I really don't know the different car types.I heard Thalia gasp and mutter something,and Percy respond.I didn't have time before Apollo started to talk to everybody,but I was sort of tuning him out until he waved at his car and it became a school bus.He waved everybody aboard and we climbed in.He smiled at us,"Who wants to drive?"I coughed,"Umm,is that a good idea?"He ignored me,"To young," he said to Nico."He looked at Grover,"To furry."He skipped me and Percy and saw Thalia,"Daughter of Zeus!Perfect."Thalia reddened,"Lord Apollo,I really can't..."

"I know what you are going to say,"Apollo interrupted,"'Lord Apollo,I don't deserve such an honor.'Don't sweat it!We will be fine."Thalia looked like she wanted to argue,but she wisely shut up and went to the driver's seat.While she and Apollo discussed how to do it,I leaned toward Percy,"I have a bad feeling about this."Immediately after I said that,Thalia went up.Way up.I gulped and saw the blackness of space.Everybody looked pale,but the most scared of them all were Thalia."Thalia,"Percy said,"Lighten up on the accelerator."Thalia gritted her teeth,"I got it,Percy."Then I heard Apollo cough,"Go down dear.Cape Cod is freezing over."She grabbed the wheel and yanked us down.There was a lot of screaming as I went flying into the side of the bus and got my finger stuck in the door handle.Before I could get it out,Thalia yanked us even again,and since I was on my side,the sudden movement made me go down,but not my finger.

I hastily pulled out my finger,which was now bending at the wrong angle.Before I could do anything,the bus landed and I took a look at our surroundings.We have arrived at Camp Half-Blood.
