I'll Never Stop – N'sync

Ooh yeah

I'll

I'll never stop

I don't know. Do you believe me?

After all that's said and done

All the lies. How regret them baby now.

I am the loser. And you're shining like the sun.

Tell me why, can't I still be the one?

Alright

I will never stop, until you're mine

I can wait forever, till the end of time

Cause my heart is in your hands

Don't you understand?

I'll never stop

I'll never stop

How could I ever? When my heart is in your hands.

And I know, baby there is no turning back.

You say that I'm crazy and I kinda understand

How I wish for this nightmare to end

Oh yeah

I will never stop, until you're mine

I can wait forever, till the end of time

Cause my heart is in your hands

Don't you understand?

I'll never stop

I'll never stop

Do you believe me? When my heart is in your hands

Don't you understand?

I will never stop (I will never stop)

Till the end of time (I can wait forever)

My heart is, in your …

My heart is in your hands

I will never stop, until you're mine

I can wait forever, till the end of time

Cause my heart is in your hands

Don't you understand?

I'll never stop

I'll never stop

He hadn't been aware that he and Penelope had captured such an audience whilst they were dancing. Perhaps because he hadn't been able to stop his gaze drifting to Penelope whilst he had been dancing with Cressida Cowper. And when she was in his arms dancing with him, he couldn't tear his eyes from her.

It was while they were all laughing at a bad joke that Fyfe had told that he was made aware that dancing with Penelope had shown more of his feelings for her than he intended. It was always a joy to dance with her but lately it meant more to him.

"Penelope Featherington." He hid his annoyance at them questioning the name of the lady he had been dancing with. She had attended almost as many balls as the gentlemen in their group. How could they not know who she was?

"The way you were dancing with her looked rather interesting." It was not a good thing that a man with Fyfe's reputation had suddenly noticed Pen. "You courting the girl Bridgerton?"

It wasn't so much what Fyfe said as the way he said it. These were not men he wanted near Penelope, let alone courting her. Penelope deserved so much better than these rakes. Had he inadvertently drawn attention to how desirable she was by dancing with her?

"Are you mad? I would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington." In truth she had been popping up in his dreams more and more often. "Not in your wildest fantasies Fyfe." But increasingly in his own. When had Pen become the object of his desires? And although he wouldn't be admitting to anyone he was currently in the presence of, he did desire her.

Everyone laughed. Deep down he was offended and even jealous. Offended because courting Penelope was not a joke although he didn't want any of these men courting her. Jealous because he wanted to keep her to himself and now others had finally seen what a jewel she was.

He owed Will for warning him about Lord Featherington. The least he could do was bring him in a few more customers. If nothing else, it would keep them away from Penelope. They were eager to leave anyway. Fireworks weren't their thing so he would be killing two birds with one stone.
