Chapter 32: CatNap Vs Bobby BearHug: The High Tension, The Emotions Of Fear Anger!
CatNap and DogDay were alone in a locker room.
"Feeling anxious about the duel?" DogDay wondered,
"Against the woman that triggered you during your duel together?" CatNap wondered, "Yeah."
"Don't worry, it was just one card."
"Bottomless Trap Hole."
"So?"
"...I see you've recovered from that."
"Ha ha, of course I did."
Bobby was alone in her locker room, looking at pictures of herself and her friends on her phone until she saw a picture of herself and PickyPiggy together and sighed.
"Damn it…" She said, "I'm running out of patience."
Bobby then texted PickyPiggy to meet her in the locker rooms after her duel against CatNap and sighed in relief.
"A weight has been lifted." She said,
An announcement went off.
"The 1st duel of the Semi-Finals will start in a moment. Would CatNap and Bobby BearHug please report to the Dueling Field. I repeat, the 1st duel of the Semi-Finals will start in a moment."
Bobby got up and polished her Duel Disk.
"This duel is for you, Picky." She said,
CatNap got up from his locker room to head for the door.
"Good luck, CatNap." DogDay said,
"Thanks." CatNap said as he left,
DogDay sighed as Hoppy showed up next to him and sat on a bench.
"Tough shit gonna happen to me after this match." She said,
"Yeah, I can tell." DogDay said,
Outside of the Dueling Field, RatedRat was about to announce the next duel.
"It's time for the Semi-Finals!" She shouted through the microphone, "This match will be CatNap vs Bobby BearHug! Who will make it to the Finals? Duelists, come on out and get this duel started!"
As RatedRat walked back to the commentary booth, CatNap and Bobby BearHug exited to the outside of the Dueling Field on opposite fields and made it to their places.
"CatNap, I…" Bobby said, nervously,
"Nervous too, huh?" CatNap wondered, "I understand."
"Well you don't have anyone important in your mind."
"Yeah… But it's all about this group as a whole."
"True."
"Anyways, are you ready?"
Bobby starts up her Duel Disk.
"You bet I am." She replied,
CatNap started his Duel Disk up as well.
"Duel!" Both him and Bobby shouted,
The duel started as CatNap was first. He looked at his hand and let out a big sigh.
"This is gonna be a long one." He said,
CatNap then sets a monster.
"I'll set a monster." He said, "To start my turn."
CatNap then sets a card.
"And a card face-down to end my turn." He said,
Bobby was pretty serious about it. She then draws a card silently to start Turn 2. She then looked at it and then Summoned it.
"I Normal Summon Scareclaw Reichheart in Attack Position!" She said,
Scareclaw Reichheart was Normal Summoned in Attack Position with 1500 ATK Points.
"And when Reichheart is Normal Summoned, I can add a Scareclaw Spell or Trap from my Deck to my Hand." Bobby said as she searches for Scareclaw Arrival and revealed it, "And that will be Scareclaw Arrival."
DogDay was watching from the locker room with Hoppy.
"She's playing Scareclaw." Hoppy said, "CatNap is probably not gonna have fun with this one."
"I hope he can turn things around!" DogDay said, "Who knows what else Bobby throws after summoning Tri-Heart!"
"But she doesn't have Reichphobia from the looks of it, so this could be an advantage for CatNap."
Bobby then Special Summons Scareclaw Astra in Defense Position.
"And next to Reichheart on his left, I Special Summon Scareclaw Astra in Defense Position!" She said,
Scareclaw Astra was Special Summoned in Defense Position with 1300 DEF Points.
"And to his right, I Special Summon Scareclaw Belone in Defense Position!" Bobby said,
Scareclaw Belone was Special Summoned in Defense Position with 1700 DEF Points.
"She's already got enough for Tri-Heart!" DogDay shouted, "And she doesn't even need Light-Heart to search for Reichphobia!"
"Well here it comes!" Hoppy said, "CatNap better brace himself!"
Bobby then creates a Link Circuit.
"In order to Link Summon this monster, I require 3 Effect Monsters!" She shouted, "So I'll be sending Scareclaw Reichheart, Astra and Belone into the Link Arrows!"
Bobby's 3 monsters on the field were used as Link Materials and were sent to the Bottom Left, Bottom and Bottom Right Link Arrows to initiate the Link Summon.
"Link the circuit!" Bobby shouted as she began her chant, "Be afraid as this beast will strike anyone down with its vicious claws of terror!"
A familiar monster came out of the Link Circuit.
"Link Summon!" Bobby shouted, "Roar, Link-3, Scareclaw Tri-Heart!"
Scareclaw Tri-Heart was Link Summoned in Attack Position with 3000 ATK Points.
"Oh boy…" CatNap said, "I gotta get rid of that thing…"
"Now for Tri-Heart's effect!" Bobby said as she brings back Belone from her Graveyard and Special Summons it to a zone Tri-Heart points to,"I Special Summon Belone from my Graveyard in Defense Position and add a Scareclaw monster from my Deck to my Hand!"
Bobby then searches for Scareclaw Acro and adds it to her hand. She then Special Summons Scareclaw Acro.
"And that will be Scareclaw Acro, who will be Special Summoned next to Belone in Defense Position as well!" Bobby shouted as Scareclaw Acro was Special Summoned in Defense Position with 2000 DEF Points,
Scareclaw Tri-Heart's ATK Points were soon boosted to 3600.
"Now that I have everything I need, it's time for battle!" Bobby shouted as the Battle Phase started and she pointed at the set monster, "Tri-Heart, attack CatNap's set monster with your Primitive Horror Slash!"
Tri-Heart then rushes over to the set monster as it revealed to be Incredible Ecclesia, The Virtuous with 1500 DEF Points and destroys it. CatNap then took 2100 points of damage from Tri-Heart thanks to Belone's effect, leaving him with 1900 Life Points left.
"I hope I didn't go overboard." Bobby said with a concerned look,
"Don't worry, I'm fine." CatNap said,
"Good."
Bobby then sets a card face-down.
"I set one, and end my turn." She said, "It's your turn, CatNap."
CatNap then draws to start Turn 3.
CatNap: 1900
Bobby BearHug: 4000
CatNap then sighed.
"This is not going well…" He said as he then looked at the card he drew, "But I'm gonna have to try and do my best."
CatNap then shows a monster he drew.
"I Normal Summon Fallen Of Albaz in Attack Position!" He shouted,
"Oh!" Bobby shouted as she was surprised,
Fallen Of Albaz was Normal Summoned in Attack Position with 1800 ATK Points, but had to switch to Defense Position with 0 DEF Points from Tri-Heart's effect.
"It doesn't matter about Tri-Heart's effect that makes all other monsters on the field be switched to Defense Position." CatNap said, "All it matters is Albaz's effect!"
CatNap discarded Chaos Witch.
"By discarding a card, I can Fusion Summon a monster by using monsters from either one of our fields as Fusion Materials!" He said, "And I'll use Albaz and your Tri-Heart for the Fusion Summon!"
"I knew it!" Bobby said in disbelief,
Fallen Of Albaz and Scareclaw Tri-Heart were then used as Fusion Materials for the Fusion Summon through Albaz's effect.
"Be branded under a new coat of searing light!" CatNap chanted, "Fusion Summon!"
A new dragon emerges.
"Shine, Level 8, Lubellion The Searing Dragon!" CatNap shouted,
Lubellion The Searing Dragon was Fusion Summoned in Attack Position with 2500 ATK Points.
"And I know what you're thinking, why didn't I go for Mirrorjade?" CatNap wondered, "Because I want to show you Lubellion's effect!"
CatNap then discarded The Golden Swordsoul from his hand to the Graveyard.
"By discarding another card, I get to Fusion Summon another, but different Level 8 or lower Fusion Monster by shuffling monsters from my field, Graveyard or banished!"
CatNap then shuffled back Fallen Of Albaz and Lubellion The Searing Dragon.
"And I'll shuffle back Fallen Of Albaz from my Graveyard and Lubellion The Searing Dragon from my field!" CatNap shouted,
Another Fusion Summon has started.
"Turn into a dragon of bladed ice and destroy everything in your branded path!" CatNap chanted, "Fusion Summon!"
Another familiar monster slowly emerges.
"Shake the lands, Level 8, Mirrorjade The Iceblade Dragon!" CatNap shouted,
Mirrorjade The Iceblade Dragon was Fusion Summoned in Attack Position with 3000 ATK Points.
"And there he is." Bobby said with a gulp,
CatNap then pointed at Bobby.
"Battle!" He said as the Battle Phase started, "Bobby, I hope you can withstand this attack like how I withstand your's."
"Bring it!" Bobby shouted,
"Alright, Mirrorjade! Attack Bobby directly with Branded Ice Blades!"
Mirrorjade then used his crystals to shake the lands for one of them to come out and deal 3000 points of damage to Bobby, leaving her with only 1000 Life Points left. Bobby was on one knee.
"I'm… still standing." She said, serious as she got up,
CatNap sighed in relief.
"Alright…" He said, "I'll end my turn."
"Good. It's my turn now!" Bobby said as she draws to start Turn 4,
CatNap: 1900
Bobby BearHug: 1000
"Things are coming down now." DogDay said from the locker rooms, "Whoever wins will change this friend group forever."
"...Yeah…" Hoppy said while looking down,
Bobby then looks at the card she drew and smiles.
"I suppose I have one more emotion to show you." She said, "And that's anger."
"Anger?" CatNap wondered,
"That's right! Because I'm not gonna leave this duel empty handed! I WILL win this duel!"
CatNap was confused as he saw a different version of Bobby.
"Uh-oh." He said to himself, "That attack really ticked her off, didn't it?"
Bobby then activated a Field Spell.
"I activate the Field Spell, Pressured Planet Wraitsoth!" She shouted, "Upon being activated, I can add a Kashtira monster from my deck to my hand!"
"Kashtira?!" CatNap said in shocked,
"Kashtira?" PickyPiggy wondered,
"Kashtira?!" DogDay and Hoppy shouted from the locker room,
"That deck is tied to Visas Starfrost?!" Hoppy said,
"Wait, you know that deck?!" DogDay said,
"Duh! A critter played that deck when I separated myself from you guys!"
"Oh my… So Kashtiras are a common deck around here?"
"I guess! I don't know, I don't even pay attention to the meta!"
Bobby then searches for a Kashtira monster and Special Summons it.
"When I control no monsters, I can Special Summon Kashtira Fenrir in Attack Position!" Bobby shouted,
Kashtira Fenrir was Special Summoned in Attack Position with 2400 ATK Points, but gained 200 ATK Points.
"A free Special Summon like Cyber Dragon, huh?" CatNap wondered, "And what's with the extra boost?"
"It's thanks to Pressured Planet Wraitsoth's effect! Monsters I control gain 100 ATK and DEF Points for each different attribute on the field. Which explains your Mirrorjade being a Dark monster while Fenrir is an Earth monster."
"I see. So… It's gonna be a Cyber Dragon situation?"
Bobby laughed like a villain.
"Oh, this deck is NOTHING like Cyber Dragons!" She replied, "Just watch!"
"What have I done?" CatNap said to himself,
"Now I activate Kashtira Fenrir's effect! Once per turn, I can add a Kashtira monster from my deck to my hand!"
"And it's a free search?!" DogDay said from the locker rooms,
"The big three Kashtira monsters are all searches." Hoppy replied, "Fenrir is a Monster searcher while the other two are searchers for Spells and Traps."
"No way! This deck is insane!"
"Damn right it is!"
Bobby then searches for a Kashtira monster from her deck to her hand. She then revealed the searched Kashtira monster.
"And this is what I'll use right away." She said, "When I control a Kashtira monster, I can Special Summon Kashtira Riseheart in Defense Position!"
Kashtira Riseheart was Special Summoned in Defense Position with 2100 DEF Points, but gained 300 through Wraitsoth's effect.
"Another Visas clone…" CatNap said,
"But here's where Riseheart's effect comes in!" Bobby shouted, "By banishing a Kashtira card from my Deck, I can increase his Level up to 7!"
Bobby then banished Kashtira Ogre from her Deck to increase Riseheart's Level to 7.
"But here's the kicker." She said, "The top 3 cards of your deck? They're banished face-down."
"What?!" CatNap shouted,
"That's right! Go on, banish them! Face-down!"
CatNap then banished the top 3 cards of his Deck, face-down.
"Damn it…" He said, "This isn't good. She's got 2 Level 7s on the field. She's gonna Xyz Summon isn't she?"
"Now, I overlay my Kashtira Fenrir and Kashtira Riseheart to build the Overlay Network!" Bobby shouted,
"I knew it."
Kashtira Fenrir and Kashtira Riseheart were used as Xyz Materials to build the Overlay Network. Something big, red and spherical started to appear out of it.
"I Xyz Summon, Rank 7, Kashtira Shangri-Ira!" Bobby shouted,
Kashtira Shangri-Ira was Xyz Summoned in Defense Position with 3000 DEF Points, but gained 200 DEF Points through Wraitsoth's effect.
"It's… huge." CatNap said in shock, "How am I gonna take down that thing?"
"Good luck, CatNap!" Bobby said as she sets another card in the Spell and Trap Zone, "I'll set another card in the Spell and Trap Zone and end my turn."
CatNap then draws a card to start Turn 5.
"I draw." He said,
"Standby Phase!" Bobby said,
"Huh? What is it?"
"I activate Shangri-Ira's effect! During the Standby Phase, I can Special Summon a Kashtira monster from my Deck! So I'm Special Summoning Kashtira Unicorn in Attack Position!"
Kashtira Unicorn was Special Summoned in Attack Position with 2500 ATK Points, but gained 300 ATK Points through Wraitsoth's effect.
"And now for Wraitsoth's other effect!" Bobby said, "When Shangri-Ira successfully activates an effect, I can destroy 1 card on the field! So say goodbye to your Mirrorjade!"
"Not if I use Mirrorjade's effect to send a Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck to the Graveyard to banish your Shangri-Ira!" CatNap said,
CatNap then sends Garura, Wings Of Resonant Life from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard.
"So say goodbye to your big red sphere!" He shouted,
"Not so fast!" Bobby said, "I activate my Trap Card, Infinite Impermanence!"
Infinite Impermanence was activated in the same column as Mirrorjade.
"By targeting a monster you control, I can negate its effects!" Bobby shouted, "But also, any Spell or Traps you control in the same column as my Infinite Impermanence is negated!"
"What?!" CatNap shouted as his face-down card in the same column as Bobby's Infinite Impermanence was negated and his Mirrorjade was destroyed, "But I can still use Mirrorjade's other effect! When he's destroyed, your monsters will be destroyed at the End Phase of this turn!"
"Not happening! I activate my other face-down card, Called By The Grave!"
Called By The Grave was activated.
"Of course." CatNap said,
"By banishing your Mirrorjade from the Graveyard, I can negate it's effects until the end of the next turn!"
Mirrorjade was banished.
"And since I sent Garura to the Graveyard, I can Draw 1 card." CatNap said as he did so, "Can I continue now?"
"Yes, go ahead." Bobby replied,
CatNap then activates Pot Of Greed.
"I'll use Pot Of Greed to draw 2 more cards!" He said as he does so,
CatNap then looked at his hand of 4 cards and sighed.
"This isn't a good sign." He said to himself, "How do you beat a 3200 DEF Monster and a 2700 ATK Monster with all that you have?"
CatNap sighed as he activated Chaos Space.
"I activate Chaos Space!" He said as he discarded White Dragon Wyverburster from his Hand to the Graveyard, "By discarding a LIGHT Monster, I can add a DARK Monster with a Level from 4 to 8 and can't be Normal Summoned or Set from my Deck to my Hand!"
CatNap then added a monster named Chaos Dragon Levianeer and revealed it.
"And I'll Special Summon this card by banishing a total of 3 LIGHT and or DARK Monsters from my Graveyard!" He said, "I banish my 2 LIGHT monsters, Incredible Ecclesia, The Virtuous and White Dragon Wyverburster and my only DARK Monster, Chaos Witch!"
3 of CatNap's monsters were banished.
"I Special Summon, Chaos Dragon Levianeer, in Attack Position!" CatNap shouted,
Chaos Dragon Levianeer was Special Summoned in Attack Position with 3000 ATK Points.
"Oh, wow…" Bobby said,
"When Chaos Witch is banished, I can Special Summon 2 Light Beast Tokens in Defense Position!" CatNap said as 2 Light Beast Tokens were Special Summoned in Defense Position with 1000 DEF Points, "And now for Chaos Dragon Levianeer's effect! Since I Special Summoned it by banishing at least both a Light and Dark monster, I can Destroy up to 2 cards on the field!"
CatNap then pointed at Kashtira Unicorn and Shangri-Ira.
"So both of your monsters are gone!" CatNap shouted,
"Heh, alright then." Bobby said, "Unicorn is gone, but not Shangri-Ira. If Shangri-Ira were to be destroyed, I can detach an Xyz Material to prevent it from being destroyed in the first place!"
Kashtira Unicorn was destroyed as an Xyz Material was detached from Shangri-Ira to not be destroyed by Levianeer's effect.
"...Now Levianeer can't attack the turn it activated." CatNap said as he closed his eyes, "So I'm ending my turn."
"Alright then, it's my turn!" Bobby said as she draws to start Turn 6,
"Standby Phase?"
"Oh, indeed it is. I activate Shangri-Ira's effect to Special Summon a Kashtira monster from my deck!"
Bobby then reveals another Kashtira Riseheart from her Deck.
"And that will be another Riseheart!" She said,
Another Kashtira Riseheart was Special Summoned in Defense Position with 2100 DEF Points.
"And for Wraitsoth's effect to destroy your Levianeer after Shangri-Ira's effect was a success!" Bobby said,
Chaos Dragon Levianeer was destroyed from one of Pressured Planet Wraitsoth's effects.
"And now that I got that out of the way, I'm gonna go ahead and do something I have never done." Bobby said, "Xyz Summon after another Xyz Monster's effect was resolved!"
"What are you talking about?" CatNap wondered,
"Since I used Kashtira Shangri-Ira's effect, I can use 1 Kashtira monster I control as the whole Xyz Material for a new Kashtira Xyz Monster!"
"You can't be serious, right?"
"I am, so watch! I'm about to rebuild the Overlay Network by overlaying my Kashtira Riseheart as the whole and lone Xyz Material!"
The Overlay Network was formed again as Kashtira Riseheart was used as the only material for a new Xyz Summon.
"Rebuild and overlap yourself under a red armor full of rage!" Bobby chanted, "Birth and prepare your rising anger! Xyz Summon!"
A red armored being with wings and an ax slowly reveals himself from the Overlay Network.
"Unleash your hellish rage, Rank 7, Kashtira Arise-Heart!" Bobby shouted,
Kashtira Arise-Heart was Xyz Summoned in Attack Position with 3000 ATK Points, but gained 200 through Wraitsoth's effect.
"Woah…" PickyPiggy said from the audience, stunned, "No way…"
"How do I beat that thing?" CatNap wondered,
"Kashtira Arise-Heart…" Hoppy said from the locker rooms, "One of the most powerful Xyz Monsters in this game."
"What does it do?" DogDay wondered,
"Considering that Kashtira is a deck solely based on banishing cards… It's best for Bobby to explain it."
Kashtira Arise-Heart was there, floating in the air next to Shangri-Ira.
"As long as Kashtira Arise-Heart is on the field, any card sent to the Graveyard is banished instead." Bobby said,
"What? So every card?" CatNap said,
"Every card."
"I… I don't know what to say."
"Speechless then? Well, I'm about to start the Battle Phase, so this attack will be a warning!"
"O-Oh!"
The Battle Phase started as Kashtira Arise-Heart flew up in the air with his blue arm and fist clenched for an attack.
"Kashtira Arise-Heart will attack one of your Light Beast Tokens!" Bobby shouted, "Rising Big Bang!"
Kashtira Arise-Heart then launches towards one of the Light Beast Tokens with his fists targeting for the attack. CatNap then clenched his teeth and stood his ground.
"Not so fast, Bobby!" He shouted as he revealed a Counter Trap, "I activate my Trap Card, Negate Attack!"
Negate Attack was activated to negate Arise-Heart's attack.
"Not only do I negate your Arise-Heart's attack, but I also ended the Battle Phase." CatNap said, "And since your Arise-Heart is still on the field, I guess Negate Attack will be banished."
Negate Attack was banished as Arise-Heart then raised his blue arm out again.
"Huh?" CatNap wondered, "What now?"
"Every time a card is banished, Kashtira Arise-Heart will use one of his main effects!" Bobby said, "And that's detaching one of our banished cards as Xyz Materials!"
Kashtira Arise-Heart then snatches one of CatNap's face-down banished cards and attaches to himself as Xyz Materials, being a Chaos Hunter.
"Chaos Hunter?" Bobby said, "I've never seen that card before, but ok."
"Are you done with this whole banishing thing?" CatNap wondered, annoyed,
"Not yet!" I have yet to Normal Summon a monster in my turn! So I think it's best to do so now as I reveal to you a new Visas monster!"
Bobby then Normal Summoned another Visas monster in Attack Position with 1500 ATK Points.
"Being Visas Samsara!" She said, "And he's treated as Visas Starfrost while on the field or in the Graveyard!"
"What will that do?" CatNap wondered,
"Simple. I will banish Visas from my field and a Kashtira Riseheart from my Graveyard that was previously Xyz Material for Shangri-Ira!"
"Wait, what's going on now?"
"Huh? What is she doing now?" Hoppy wondered from the locker rooms,
"Looks like she's bringing out a new monster!" DogDay replied, "But what?"
Visas Samsara as Visas Starfrost and Kashtira Riseheart were banished to bring out a new powerful monster.
"Devour everything in your path and awaken your new vicious self!" Bobby chanted, "Come forth, Level 8, Vicious Astraloud!"
Vicious Astraloud was Special Summoned in Attack Position with 3000 ATK Points, but gained 200 through Wraitsoth's effect. He was a black-colored monster with Tri-Heart's sword arm, Kaleido-Heart's whips growing from its back and Arise-Heart's overall body.
"WHAT IS THAT?!" DogDay shouted from the locker rooms, "THAT'S MORE THAN A MONSTER! IT'S AN ABOMINATION!"
"What the hell is Bobby doing?" Hoppy wondered, "Holy crap, she literally lost it!"
Arise-Heart once again raised his blue arm out.
"Arise-Heart will now add another banished card." Bobby said,
Another one of CatNap's face-down banished cards were being transported to Arise-Heart as Xyz Materials, being this time, a Black Dragon Collapserpent.
"And now for Astraloud's effect." Bobby said, "I destroy a monster on the field for him to gain ATK Points equal to the highest ATK or DEF Point of the destroyed monster."
"I still have my Light Beast Tokens." CatNap said,
"True, but I'm not destroying either one of them. Instead, I'm letting my own Shangri-Ira be destroyed to power up Vicious Astraloud."
"Huh?!"
Vicious Astraloud then destroyed Kashtira Shangri-Ira for it to absorb 1500 ATK Points, bringing the total to 4600. Shangri-Ira being destroyed lowered Arise-Heart's ATK Points to 3100.
"It's your turn, CatNap." Bobby said, "Try and take down my monsters now!"
"Alright…" CatNap said as he placed his two fingers on the top card of his deck, "I gotta trust in my deck. This duel is all or nothing."
CatNap then drew the top card to start Turn 7. He looked at it and sighed.
"This will do." He said, "For now."
CatNap then revealed a familiar Spell Card.
"I activate Swords Of Revealing Light!" He shouted as he activated it,
"Hey, that's one of my cards I used against Bobby!" DogDay said from the locker rooms with a smile,
5 swords made out of light pierced the ground, blocking Bobby's monsters from attacking.
"You can't attack for 3 of your turns." CatNap said,
"Not happening again." Bobby said with a smirk, "I activate Kashtira Arise-Heart's second effect!"
"Oh great…"
"By detaching 3 of it's materials, I can banish your Swords Of Revealing Light!"
3 of Kashtira Arise-Heart's materials were detached and banished as Swords Of Revealing Light was banished.
"And I'll just go ahead and bring back your Swords Of Revealing Light as Xyz Material!" Bobby said as Kashtira Arise-Heart attached Swords Of Revealing Light to himself as Xyz Material,
"Oh great." CatNap said with a sigh, "I guess I don't got a choice."
"Pass the turn to me, perhaps? Just so I can end this duel in my next turn?"
CatNap then laughed a bit.
"No." He replied,
"No?" Bobby wondered,
"I activate the Quick-Play Spell, Forbidden Chalice!"
Forbidden Chalice was activated. Bobby gasped.
"What?!" She shouted,
"I not only increase your Arise-Heart's ATK Points by 400, but I also negate his effects!" CatNap shouted,
Kashtira Arise-Heart's ATK Points were raised to 3500, but his effects were negated.
"Th-That means… I can't use any of his effects to attach anymore materials or banish a card!" Bobby said,

One of the Light Beast Tokens was tributed for Lightpulsar Dragon as it was Tribute Summoned in Attack Position with 2500 ATK Points.
"And now for a Synchro Summon!" CatNap shouted, "I tuned my Level 2 Light Beast Token with my Level 6 Lightpulsar Dragon!"
"Oh, here we go!" DogDay said from the locker rooms with excitement,
"He's finally gonna beat Bobby!" Hoppy shouted,
A Synchro Summon between a Level 2 tuner Light Beast Token and a Level 6 non-tuner Lightpulsar Dragon has started.
"Burn the soul of your rage hotter than ever to destroy everything to a crisp!" CatNap shouted, "Synchro Summon!"
Another dragon emerges.
"Burn my racing soul to victory, Level 8, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend!" CatNap shouted,
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend was Synchro Summoned in Attack Position with 3000 ATK Points.
"And now for my Hot Red Dragon Archfiend's effect!" CatNap shouted, "During this 1st Main Phase, I can destroy all other Face-Up Attack Position monsters on the field!"
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend roared as red frames started to emerge.
"Hot Crimson Crisis!" CatNap shouted,
Kashtira Arise-Heart and Vicious Astraloud were destroyed.
"No!" Bobby shouted in fear, "He got me!"
"Battle!" CatNap shouted as the Battle Phase started one more time, "This duel is over! Hot Red Dragon Archfiend will attack you directly! Absolute Jeweled Powerforce!"
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend clenched one of its fists into a burning fire as it then launched towards Bobby to lay its burning fist at her, dealing 3000 points of damage to her.
"AHHHHHH!!!" She shouted as her Life Points went down to 0,
The duel was over as CatNap have won and will be advancing to the Finals. Everyone except for DogDay and Hoppy were surprised.
"Yes! He did it!" DogDay shouted from the locker rooms, "CatNap has won and will be going to the Finals!"
"That was a rollercoaster of a duel!" Hoppy shouted,
"He… He did it." PickyPiggy said, "CatNap has beaten Bobby."
"No way." RatedRat said through the commentary booth, "CatNap has beaten… Bobby BearHug… and… will be advancing… to the Finals…"
CatNap was shocked as well as he looked around to see everyone else shocked.
"I can't believe this…" He said, "I'm going to the Finals…"
CatNap then turned to a weeping Bobby BearHug on one knee. He went over to get her up.
"Are you ok?" He asked her,
"I'm fine." Bobby replied as she sniffed and wiped her tears, "I was this close to winning this duel."
"And there's no reason to cry about it."
"Tell that to DogDay when I have beaten him in Round 1!"
Bobby and CatNap share a laugh together. The two then heard clapping as they turned to PickyPiggy clapping for them.
"Yeah! Great duel y'all!" She shouted, "Wooo!"
Everyone else clapped as Bobby then blushed and hid behind CatNap.
"I forgot that I gave her a text." She whispered to CatNap, "I gotta go!"
Bobby then heads back to the locker rooms. CatNap chuckled.
"Well…" He said as he saw PickyPiggy getting up and leaving the audience to head to the locker rooms as well, "I guess Bobby has finally found love."
DogDay and Hoppy meanwhile were in relief.
"Wow…" DogDay said, "I still can't believe CatNap finally won."
"And he's gonna face either me or Kickin…" Hoppy said as she sighed, "I really gotta keep my focus up."
KickinChicken meanwhile was eavesdropping on them by hearing what they're saying through the door. He clenched his fists and walks away, silent, yet very frustrated.
