Chapter 16: Baby, I'd Kill For You

Miko screamed in agony through the ball gag that was shoved in her mouth as she was shocked over and over again with Dark energon lightning. The voltage was also increased each time, which caused the serum's effects to progress even faster.

"Ah, music to my audio receptors." Madame Ruin purred evilly. She then looked at the girls vitals and stopped what she was doing. "Now to let you finish dying slowly, and painfully." She smiled as she walked out of the lab. "By Miko." She smirked as she left the girl behind to die.

(Elsewhere)

Meanwhile at the Autobot base...

"I'm going to kill them all." Creator said murderously. He started stomping his way to the main doorway before both Arcie and Bumblebee stood in his way. "Get out of my way right now you two, or else." He growled.

"Or else what, Creator?" The two wheeler questioned, her arms folded.

"Or this!" The Bioformer hissed before he shoved the two out of his way and continued on. "Every second wasted means Miko gets closer to death!" He barked.

"And how do you expect to find her, then?" Ratchet questioned, Bulkhead walking over to the Bioformer and placing his hand on his shoulder.

"Listen Tibs, I want to save Miko too, but we can't do that until we figure out where she is." The boy told him, clearly trying to hold back his own anger.

"Bulkhead is correct, Tiberius, we must not only be quick about this, but also smart about it as well." Optimus nodded, placing his own hand on his pupil's shoulder, trying to calm him.

"I'm sorry. I'm just… Beyond scared right now." The hybrid sighed as his shoulders slumped.

"You're not alone." Jack said, his eyes full of worry.

"Rafael, do you think you can try to pick up Miko's general location by tracking her phone?" Ratchet asked the twelve year old tech wiz.

"I won't stop until I do." The boy nodded as he immediately got to work.

"I will let agent Fowler know of the situation. Hopefully he can help us expedite our efforts." Optimus nodded. "In the meantime, Tiberius I will need you to keep a vigilant eye in the sky until we find the correct coordinates. We will bridge you there as soon as we find them."

"Roger that." The gold Bioformer nodded as he left to watch the skies.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but assuming we even find her, how are we gonna save Miko from whatever kind of crazy chemicals that Madame Ruin probably pumped her full of?" Sierra questioned.

"I am uncertain, but I feel like something will reveal itself to help with that." Optimus replied.

"Let's hope to the Allspark that it does." Ratchet said as he activated the bridge. "I've set several different coordinates for you to go to help broaden our search. As soon as Rafael and I find Miko's exact location, we'll send you there."

"Roger that. I'll check them out." The Bioformer replied before setting out for the designated coordinates. The others nodded and followed suit through the ground bridge.

(Later)

"Have you found anything yet, Raf?" Jack asked the boy as he kept typing.

"I've got the general area but I need a more precise satellite to narrow it down so we don't spend hours looking.

"I think I may be able to help ya there, son." Fowler suddenly said as he walked into the base. He then quickly took Raf's computer and brought him to a military satellite. "Now type in this access code: 17Tango14CharlieOmega4."

The child tech expert typed in the code and had access immediately. "Okay, let's see if this works." He said to himself before he started searching for Miko's phone and soon got the exact location. "Found it! Ratchet, she's inside a cave not far from Skyquake's grave site! Send Tiberius and the others to these coordinates, now!" He exclaimed as he sent Ratchet the coordinates.

(Elsewhere)

The Autobots all exited the ground bridge portal and sure enough, they were at the grave site of Skyquake, and behind it, was a cave that was artificially carved into the cliff side.

"Come on, let's move!" Creator exclaimed as he rushed to his girlfriend's aid. As they ran into the cave, all of them soon heard the disheartening sound of agony filled cries echoing through the caverns.

"No… Double time!" Bulkhead shouted as he picked up the pace. Everyone else didn't hesitate to do the same.

They soon reached the source of the cries after following them, and found Miko. She was in horrible shape, the serum had already started draining her of her life… She was running out of time.

"Ratchet, we need a Ground Bridge now! Miko's dying!" Creator barked into his comms, his voice cracking from worry.

However as they tried to get to Miko, Bulkhead was suddenly sucker punched to the other wall by Changeling, who came out of nowhere.

"You have no chance of saving her!" He exclaimed as he got ready to fight.

"You know what? I have no fucking time for this!" The Bioformer growled before he charged at the lackey and grabbed him before ripping his head off and tossing it aside.

That was when he noticed Dark Energon coming out of him. "No way…" He gasped as he looked at the dead body as Bulkhead grabbed Miko. "This guy… He used to be human. Madame Ruin turned him into a Terracon Bioformer!" He told the others.

"Wait, if she can do that, then maybe you can do it too! You can save Miko!" Bulkhead exclaimed in realization.

"Let's hope so." The Bioformer nodded as the ground bridge appeared.

(Later)

Tiberius was sitting in a chair as Serena bandaged his arm after Mathias took some of his blood to transfuse into Miko.

"Good thing I have a doctorate medical degree." The woman sighed as she started hooking Miko up to the IV. Minutes later the boy's blood entered Miko's body and the Cybertronian antibodies started working against the serum… and the change was almost instant.

"Wow, that was fast." Fowler remarked in surprise at the speed. Miko then started to glow pink and then Ratchet's optics widened.

"By the Allspark…" The medic gasped.

"What is it?" Jack asked as he watched the process.

"She's become a Bioformer just like Tiberius, spark and all." The ambulance told him before alarms started going off. Miko's vitals then started to drop again. "Scrap! The serum she was injected with was laced with Cybonic Plague!"

"Did you make extra antidotes?!" Mathias asked.

"Luckily I did." The Autobot nodded as he started adding the antibodies to Miko's IV… and she slowly stabilized. "She's stable, but she's weak." He sighed. This made Tiberius sigh in both relief and anger. Relief that his girlfriend would survive, and anger that Madame Ruin had the audacity to do this.

"We should try to get her to a hospital so she can try to recover." Serena said.

"I'll call my mom, she's a paramedic." Jack nodded. Tiberius meanwhile got up and started walking out of the base, Optimus watching him leave and noting the angered expression on his face.

'His mind is clouded with anger.' He noted mentally. He didn't really fault him for being angry, given what happened. It was only natural for him to feel that way. What really worried him was that he would do something reckless.

As the boy stepped outside the base he transformed and flew off, flying from place to place. Hours passed as he kept flying until he saw a new Decepticon mining operation out in the middle of the desert in New Mexico.

'Hello, corpses.' He thought darkly as he dived toward the mining site like a bird of prey. He then deployed his missiles and then fired at the entrance to the mine and then blew it to kingdom come, sending more cons flying out of mine for him to kill.

Transforming, he landed on his feet and deployed his blades before he stalked towards his targets, murderous intent in his optics. The Vehicons looked at him and tried to attack him, but it was futile. They were slaughtered.

In a flash he hacked them apart as if they were made of paper and as if his blades were scissors. He slashed and swung his blade arms around in a circle and sling the pieces of their bodies all over the place.

Soon, he was the only one left in the mine, the remains of Decepticons littered around him in the wake of his rampage.

"I'll kill every last one of you I come across." He growled. "I'll do it, for you Miko." He added before he flew off again.

(Later)

Miko laid in a hospital bed as June Darby faced Raf, Sierra, Tiberius and Jack. The girl was still unconscious, but stable.

"She's stable now, but it'll be a while before she can leave. Let alone go back to school." The woman said as she looked at the girl in the bed. "I don't get it, what happened to her?"

"Some sick in the head freak injected her with a dangerous cocktail of chemicals. Don't ask what it was made of. We don't know either." Sierra replied, coming up with a cover story.

"If it weren't for my parents, she'd be dead." Tiberius added, his fists clenched.

"Well at any rate, she'll live, but it'll take months for her to recover from this." The medic said.

"Would it… Be okay if I stay here with her, Mrs. D?" Tiberius asked the woman.

"Go on in." She nodded. Tiberius proceeded into his girlfriend's room and felt his heart crack when he saw her current state.

The boy fell to his knees as he took her hand into his, tears falling down his face as he cried. The others looked from outside and they all felt their hearts ache as well.

"I hope she wakes up soon." Raf said sadly. Both Sierra and Jack hugged him tightly as they watched.

"Us too, Raf." The two nodded.

Dragon Emperor0: I'm really worried about how Miko's going to turn out after all this…

ThermalsniperN7: I'm pretty sure with what she's gone through, she'll more than likely be traumatized. If that's not bad enough, I doubt she'll be able to do her favorite things anymore.

Dragon Emperor0: Her brain was severely damaged so it makes sense, but I really hope that fate isn't that cruel to her.

ThermalsniperN7: Yeah. Every action has a consequence, and Madame Ruin's cost the Decepticons several mining operations.
