All throughout class, Bakugo tried using his quirk full-force. He knew that he wasn't allowed to, but it didn't matter because he couldn't and that was aggravating the poor teen.
"Um, notes?" Todoroki asked, as he melted an ice wall that Tsu hopped away from.
"Yeah, um- no notes here." Kirishima said.
Shoto blinked. "Katsuki- you showed good restraint today."
Bakugo retorted by glaring and shattering the boy's ice wall with a controlled explosion. It wasn't big and flashy, in fact- even Katsuki himself was surprised that it shattered the ice. He growled something and punched the wall.
"Can we take five?" EIjirio asked, though mostly so that he could steal a moment with his boyfriend.
"Are you okay?" Kirishima asked, very worried.
"I'm fine." Bakugo grumbled, unable to make eye contact. He finally looked. Shit! His stubbornness was affecting others again. There he went- Big, Bad Katsuki- worrying everyone. He sighed and broke the silence. "My quirk's weak, okay? I'm not 'showing restraint' like fucking Shoto said. I'm gonna blow his head off."
Eijirio laughed in return, surprising Bakugo. "Well, if THAT'S all that it is, don't WORRY! You get gym privileges on your weird-grounding-week, right?"
Katsuki sighed. "Yeah. I'll be Howitzer Blasting before you're back so watch out, Rock."
Kirishima smiled and was about to say something, but Mr. Aizawa called them back with a sharp blare of the sports whistle tucked, previously, in his pocket.
"Hit the showers!" He yelled. "English and Japanese Lit starts after lunch!"
It was a half day today so those classes would be half-length, as they were just general education, not the targeted classes for Hero Course students.
When the day sadly ended, the students prepared to take buses out to the train stations.
This led to an annoying amount of moping from half of the Core-Four, who wanted to see their boyfriends: Midoriya and Bakugo, obviously.
"He will get over it." Was all that Aizawa, Shinso's Dad said, and that was usually the truth.
"But Dad—" Hitoshi bargained. "Can't you let Midoriya go home? He's not wanted by the villains!"
By now, Mic had tuned in to the conversation. He was slicing an apple slice for Eri in their teacher suite, across the lobby of the first floor. "Shin- what if something bad DID happen? To ANYONE?"
"Like the bad men with me?" Eri asked, looking fearful.
"No, Sweet. We're not talking about the Yakuza, exactly." Aizawa broke from lecture to comfort his daughter. He shot a glare at Shinso, with a now-you've-done-it look.
Hitoshi DID technically have a second place that he could stay, with his fathers. See, the two-room suite that WAS Midnight Sensei's and now housed the 'Core Four,' matched the outline of his fathers' suite EXACTLY. There was a Main Bedroom and a slightly smaller one that had a smaller closet with two twin beds. Eri slept there, and Shinso USED to. He was grateful to have Izuku as a roommate, though, because he didn't want his kid sister to know that he still slept in essentially DIAPERS. Midoriya had some trauma, obviously, because he had nightmares and night-wetting, too. Todoroki had that scary scar and a scarier Dad, and Bakugo was KIDNAPPED, so it made sense that they lived together- it was a backwards kind of support system through the unspoken camaraderie of trauma bonding.
Buttttttt….. Shinso also just wanted his OWN room for even just a WEEK! It was shared with Eri or shared with Midoriya, and at least Izuku wanted to GO HOME, so Shin was just… advocating?
Mic picked up a trembling Eri and Hitoshi thought that he'd push just. one. more. time. He tried. "But, c'MON, Papa!"
Eri was on Mic's hip, being rocked through SOME memory. He kept his voice low and pointed. "Keep pushing and you're gonna get popped on your bottom."
That language annoyed Hitsohi, because it was simple enough that even his kid sister could even understand he was in deep shit.
"Ugh!" Shinso rolled his eyes. He was mad, now. "You know, I COULD use my quirk!"
"Oh, could you, now?" Posed Aizawa, casually and coldly from the fridge. He set down a beer and didn't even open it- that made Shinso think twice about talking back… Aizawa refused to drink if he was gonna discipline.
"You can open it. I've got it." Mic said. He had enough and Eri was essentially asleep now in her memory-trance. He sent Hitsohi to his room on their side, while Aizawa set Eri under a blanket on the couch and scrolled on his phone, unopened beer in hand. He figured that if Mic laid into the boy's spanking too hard, he'd bail his son out, but in less than twenty minutes (lecture included), Hitoshi came out of the sibling room, rubbing his sore bottom and apologized to his Dad and Mic, stiffly.
"You may go to YOUR suite now, if you desire solace." Mic permitted.
Shinso nodded and left.
Midoriya was angrily throwing balled up socks into his hamper in some weird game of laundry. The green haired teen looked over. "What ran YOU over?"
"Papa Mic." Hitoshi admitted, angrily. "For NO reason!" He loudly grumbled, making his way to lay on his stomach. "Dad's off work until tomorrow evening, so it's just Mic or All Might if we screw up."
Izuku winced thinking of his mentor's heavy handedness. "Besides the guilt aspect- All Might's discipline style makes him arguably the hardest at spanking. THEN Mic. THEN Eraser."
Shoto came into the suite from obviously either the pool or the showers, because his hair was wet and he had a towel around his neck. He had just heard the Midoriya remark, as the door was open to both rooms, and he frowned.
"No way, Izuku." Todoroki said, matter-of-factly, "All Might can't be the heaviest."
A distant shout came from the other room. It was Bakugo. "Midoriya thinks that just because HE'S weak!"
"Shut UP, Katsuki." Shinso muttered, having a decent amount of respect for his roommate, even if he did just try to get rid of him…
A laugh from the other two at the doorway.
"Somethin' FUNNY?!" Bakugo shouted, having heard the snickering. He got up, as he was already pissed off, and walked to the doorway.
" d." Hitoshi ordered, in his quirk.
The boys got quiet. Bakugo was a nuisance, sure, but using 'BRAINWASH' on him?! That was like… not the level of threat avoidance needed. That was like firing a shotgun at a mosquito level of overkill.
Eraserhead opened the door. "Why'd it get quiet?" He asked, hair-raised, scarf grabbed, looking at all of the boys.
Katsuki's body relaxed and the mind control wore off.
Bakugo wasn't a tattletale, but it was obvious that something was amiss with him.
"Fuck you, Hitoshi." He said, holding up, bilateral middle fingers and advancing towards the boy. Shinso got ready to square up and got off his bed.
"Miiiiiiiiiiiiic! Get yer son!" He yelled, across the hallway, holding Bakugo back. The expolsion-quirked teen made up the spacial difference faster.
Midnight sighed, as she was about to go to 1-B and retire for the evening, but she grabbed Mic, who opened the door.
AND THEN…
SEVEN things happened in under one minute.
One, Shoto sat down IMMEDIATELY on one of the couches
Two, Midoriya got up and joined, evacuating the room with Hitoshi, who was stalking towards the door.
Three, Mic came out into the hallway, hair in a top knot, having been very obviously JUST woken up.
Four, Midnight went to check in on Eri, who was asleep. She unzipped her sleeve, allowing the girl to fall into a sleep-state trance for the next hour or so, buying time. Before she, too, came out, behind Mic
Five, Shinso ran out to tackle Bakugo.
Six, Mic stalked, angrily into the suite to separate his kid from Bakugo, while his husband focused on erasing quirks.
Seven, Midnight ripped her sleeve, as the husbands held their breath.
Four students watched each other's faces as they
Fell
Deeper
And
Deeper
…
ASLEEP!
