Eos is frantic, in a way that only a fully sentient and potentially dangerous computer program can be. She is refusing to accept that Johnny is dead. I agree - the thought of a world without John in it makes my guts twist up, and stops me thinking straight. It's almost like dad all over again. There was no warning, no ransom demand…he just disappeared. It was so stupid too! Just a dumb visit to the bathroom before he went back out to take questions from the audience following his lecture.
The lecture was all about space…stuff. It was really interesting, and John is damn good at public speaking. Why the hell would anyone abduct him? Seriously, if…when we get him back, when he's dirtside he'll be getting a full escort everywhere! It'll drive him mad, but I can't lose him…we can't lose him. Not our Johnny! People keep saying he must be dead by now…all that blood, but he can't be. No way.
Scott is in no doubt at all. He just says that John is alive and nothing and no one will convince him otherwise until he sees a body.
There has been no body. No sign at all - Just a great deal of blood and nothing else. Not all of the blood was Johnny's - but a lot of it was. Too much of it.
Alan and Gordon are angry. Alan misses Johnny like mad - they were always very close. Gordon is angry too, but his anger is a little scary. As a former W.A.S.P officer, Gordon has military training, and at times like this he tends to think like a military man. Keyed up for action. I would hate to see what he might do should Johnny turn up dead somewhere. –
Kayo too is angry like we've never seen before. She's off with Lady Penelope, searching for some clue as to who shot John and where they might have taken him. They've not been in touch more than two or three times.
It has been two weeks now. Two weeks and no Sign. Not even a ransom demand. Johnny-please be alive somewhere.
I Miss you bro.
I love you.
