Chapter 17: To Las Vegas
Some hours after everyone went home, Freddy sent Fredbear and his friends a link. It was a website Gator Estates. When clicking on the site, it showed the usual stuff you'd expect from a real estate mogul. At first, there was confusion on why it get sent in the first place. That was until they came across the address and where it was located. After the copyright and terms of use, right next to the address: Las Vegas, Nevada.
Everyone immediately got into video call. "So, it's Las Vegas, huh?" asked Foxy. "That's where it's located," replied Freddy, "Only 2 hours away. I don't know how it will work, but I'm thinking we go into his headquarters and see if we can REALLY gather the evidence we need." "You sure you wanna do this?" asked Fredbear, "I ain't advising against it, but I am advising against Bonnie to do those juggling tricks to distract any security." "What? It always works!" said Bonnie. "I think playing kazoo is enough to catch them off their guard," argued Foxy. "Juggling? Kazoos? I think singing is where it's at," also argued Chica.
"Let's save this debate for later," said Freddy, "And to answer your question dad, I really don't think we have any other choice." Fredbear nodded in response, but very unsurely. "This might not look like a bright idea, but this might be the last resort we can take to stopping Monty," Freddy continued, "I don't know what we will be getting ourselves into, but it's for the best. So my advice to you guys is we get ready for this journey we may experience within some hours. I can't think of what time would be good, but I think it'd be best we go there right before the sun sets."
Meanwhile, Monty was in this motel that he and Sparky were in. They seemed to be staying there until it was time for them to go back to Las Vegas. Sparky was just kinda sitting around on his phone, while Monty was on the phone with Dan.
"How's the new position of being a police chief going?" asked Monty. "It's going very well!" said Dan on the other line, revealing his police chief uniform, "Thank you getting me up this high. Bringing in those fake records and the police chief's firing sure brought me up in power." "It was one hell of an unexpected turn to find out the chief was fired for being a drug user," said Monty, "But because of his firing, you have full control over the police force. So with that power, I think you know what needs to be done."
Sparky put down his phone right around the same time Monty hung up. "Now that we are all square with them, you can pretty much build your thing in their space and I can go home feeling satisfied," he said gleefully, "I mean, that was the plan, right?" "Oh no no no no," said Monty, "We gotta put em in jail and maybe even prison. We've seen how capable they are of getting our files, so what's stopping them from continuing to find evidence against us until they do so?"
Sparky was undoubtedly familiar with the level problems, but all he really wanted to do was burn down the pizzeria as revenge. Admittedly, this isn't what he wanted and Monty could notice that look on his face. "There a problem Sparky?" Monty asked sternly. "Huh? No, there's no problem man," Sparky replied, "I'm just...surprised is all. You know, with this decision that is being made."
Monty didn't seem to really understand where Sparky was getting at, and he didn't really want to bother in asking. This may have saved Sparky from needing a good excuse of why he was saying that. "Anyway," said Monty, "With enough convincing and fake evidence, we'll make it look like the Fazbears and their friends are a part of a conspiracy that could make them do some serious time. After all, given their ties with Buster, who is already locked up, it'll make a perfect opportunity. In fact, Dan is considering bringing out the special units once he's got enough of what he needs."
"Does Mayor Friedlander know anything about this?" asked Sparky. "Oh, he knows," Monty replied, "I asked him for a favor in doing something to help slow Fredster and his friends down. He got a little stubborn at first, but I reminded him I was the one in control, so he eventually got to it." "And that favor was?" "Towing their personal vehicles away." "Clever. That sure gives this police a chance to catch up to them." "That it will Sparky, that it will."
As confident as Monty was about this, Sparky was a little less confident about it. Not only because he was already satisfied with what he got, but he originally didn't intend on hoping it'd reach this point. But in Sparky's mind, he believed it was for the best, regardless of what he thought.
When the afternoon came, the fog went away and it looked to clear up a bit. Unknown to Freddy, his father, or friends, their cars were being towed away. First starting with Freddy, then Chica, then Foxy, then the last one being Fredbear. Bonnie was the only one who was safe from it, since his van was getting a paint job. Unfortunately, the others never left their homes at any point in the day or checked through the windows, making this a gold opportunity to whoever towed their cars.
By the time Freddy and the gang were preparing to set off to Las Vegas, they noticed their cars were gone, all except for Bonnie. They didn't know where their cars went, but that was an early sign of things to come. But regardless, Freddy immediately video called his friends through his phone. It didn't take long for them to answer.
"Hey everyone," said Freddy, about to explain himself. "Before you go on, let me guess, missing car too?" asked Chica. "Well, yes," Freddy replied, "Wait a minute, did it happen to you guys as well?" "Happened to all of us, except for Bonnie," said Fredbear. "Lad was lucky to be getting a paint job by chance," added Foxy. "Before anyone asks about the color of the van, don't worry, it's not staying white," said Bonnie, "Instead, it's white and red!" "Finally, something that doesn't raise suspicion," Fredbear mumbled.
"When will it be out of the shop?" asked Freddy. "Unfortunately, not for another 40 hours." Everyone groaned and sighed. "How in the hell are we gonna get to where we need to be?" asked Foxy, "We cannae walk on foot to Las Vegas! Our damned feet will fall off!" "I would recommend one of those coach buses, but I don't know their schedule," said Chica.
Freddy thought about what to do and how to get to Las Vegas without their vehicles to get there. However, nothing came to mind. "I know there might be some disagreements about walks, but when there is nothing else, we may have to take that route," Freddy explained, "Perhaps we'll hit something along the way that could help us get to Vegas faster. But in the meantime, let's all meet up at the town line going northwest."
Before they decided to go out their doors, they all got money for the trip. However, they soon stopped when they started to see the same car driving by their windows. It was at this moment, they came to the realization that they were about to meet the same fate as Buster. Luckily, they hadn't hung up the call yet, so they could still warn each other.
"I've been seeing the same vehicle going by 3 or 4 times now," Bonnie said. "It's the undercover bobby!" said Foxy, "I can tell just from their colours." "If we didn't already feel the need to leave, we definitely do now," said Chica. "You guys are experiencing this too, huh?" Fredbear groaned, "So the police are ready to get us next. Great." "I'm going to escape through my backyard," said Freddy, trying to make a reasonable plan off the top of his head, "May be a good idea, may not be a good idea. It may be the only way we can meet up without being caught by the police. To those with a backyard, take that route and try to avoid any busy or main roads." Everyone agreed to this, before they all hung up.
Freddy immediately went out the back door. He ran as fast as he could away from his own house. After reaching the end of his backyard, he jumped some fences through other people's backyards, before eventually going down a road that was going northwest out of town.
Bonnie ran out through his backyard too. Much like Freddy, he jumped over some fences and through some other people's backyards. However, he was getting more and more exhausted from doing it. It got slower and slower, until Bonnie eventually collapsed from exhaustion, running through the last fence, breaking it. After about 10 seconds, Bonnie got back up and ran up the street.
Chica went to her backyard then climbed over her fence. There was a road immediately after her fence. She went down it quickly, but equally as sneakily. The car that went by her house had drove by her a few times, but luckily, Chica recognized it and would hide almost immediately upon it coming within her vision. Soon she was making her way to where she needed to go.
Foxy was preparing to leave, until he saw the car pull up to his front yard. "No way, no how, am I gettin locked up," he said, before quickly opening up his window and about to jump out into his own backyard. However, his shorts got caught in one of the parts of it, resulting in a wedgie. Foxy groaned painfully, before he was able to get lose from it and got out of the window. From there he escaped through his backyard, eventually finding his way to the backroads.
Freddy was the first to find his way to the town line. Chica then arrived, then Foxy, then Bonnie, who was just getting off the phone. "I just got a call from the paint shop guy," he said, "He said the van is ready earlier than expected! Sorry for the late notice." Everyone groaned. "Right when we show up here too!" complained Foxy. "Please tell me it's not on the other side of town," added Chica. "It's not, it's only a few blocks from here," replied Bonnie.
They walked as quickly as they could to the autobody shop. All the while, Freddy was trying to contact his father, but wasn't getting any reply from him. What was going on with Fredbear was anybody's guess, but the gang would soon find out what was going on with him, and why he wasn't responding.

Fanfiction has been really finicky lately, so the lines couldn't be put in to distinguish the times and scene timings. So just bare with me, I'm not sure how long this will go on for.
Also, this is released on FNAF's 10 year anniversary, so happy National FNAF Day! Talk about a great release date!
