Sonny rolled his eyes at Robert. He was expecting a visit, but it was still aggravating. "Oh great, our wonderful police commissioner. How's the family?"
Robert's blood was boiling. He couldn't believe the nerve of this pompous ass. "You know damn well what you did."
Sonny could deny it but they were on his turf. "I sent a message."
Robert slammed his fists down on the table. "You could have killed my youngest daughter, damn it!"
"You put my son and his mother in jail and ruined my relationship with Robin." Sonny coldly stated, trying to justify his behavior.
"No, no, no. Your actions did that. Every last one of you. You can't handle the consequences, can you?" Robert asked. He was steamed. Nothing he could have done ever had ever warranted putting Jayne in danger. He was grateful JJ was there.
"Think of the threat against Jayne as one of yours. Stay in your own lane, Scorpio." Sonny demanded.
Robert lost his cool, Jayne's life meant nothing to this thug. "You tend to forget what I was forced to do to protect Robin, I have no qualms about tapping into that." Robert actually hated that part of his life, but Robin had to stay safe. Holly, their children and family always came first, always.
"How are you going to feel when you don't protect the one you didn't even know existed? " Sonny knew he was getting to Robert. He knew needling him about Jayne would just twist the knife more.
"At least when I found out about her, it wasn't after I shot her." Robert wanted to strangle him, wanted to put an end to it all, and he probably would have if Chase hadn't walked in.
"Commissioner." Holly had called Chase, worried about what Robert had walked into. "We got to do this the right way Robert. And I have just the thing to make it right." Just then Chase turned around. "Michael Corinthos, Jr. you are under arrest." Chase knew his and Robert's men and women were surrounding the warehouse in case any tricks were played.
