Sonny knew staying quiet would be his best move. Still, he couldn't help but take another shot. "Tell Jayne that I'll be thinking of her." He gave a smile as he was led out.

Robert wanted to shout, wanted to slug him, but refused. "Get him to the station!" Robert shouted as they took him out. "Did Holly call you?" He asked.

"Yes, she wanted you to have backup. Seems like I got here just in time." Chase was relieved. He knew that Sonny would have no problem going after Robert for police brutality, and his guard would have backed him up.

"Chase, he hurt Jayne. I wanted to kill him. He said it was a message." Robert was trying to calm down, but it was hard.

"Jayne is safe now with Holly. Why don't you go check on her and I'll go to the station, make sure that piece of trash is booked?" Chase suggested.

Robert gave a nod. There was no other place he wanted to be.

General Hospital

Robert tapped on the door before walking in. "How is she?" He asked as he put his hands on Holly's shoulders.

"They put her in a medically induced coma. She has some swelling. They just want to get it under control." Holly couldn't help but think of her accident and also when Robert was put into a coma.

Robert felt the air knocked out of him, he didn't realize how serious it was. "I'm glad we got her checked."

"Me too." Holly kissed Jayne's hand. "Would you tell JJ and Rose?" She asked, not wanting to leave Jayne.

Robert nodded and kissed her head, then went and kissed Jayne's. "I love both." He walked out of the room and found Rose and JJ walking his way.

"Robert, how is Jayne?" JJ asked, worried about his girlfriend.

Robert led them over to some chairs. After everyone was seating he spoke. "Jayne is in a medically induced coma, that hit on her head caused some swelling."

Now it was JJ's turn to feel the air knocked out of him. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have..."

Robert cut him off, holding up his hand. "If you hadn't, she would be dead. Those bullets were meant for her. You saved her life. Holly and I owe you nothing but gratitude."

Rose nodded as she looked at JJ. "Exactly, you are a hero. Your father would be as proud as I am."

JJ wasn't much for attention. "Can we see her?"

Robert nodded and led them to Jayne's room.

Holly got up and gave JJ a huge hug, trying not to hurt the bullet wound. "Thank you for saving my daughter's life."

JJ hugged her back as he looked at Jayne. She just looked like she was sleeping. "You're welcome, I would do anything for her."

"I'm going to stay with her tonight." Holly told them, she remembered waking up alone and refused to have the for her daughter.

"Please, Holly, let me?" JJ spoke up.

"JJ is right." Rose added. "We can take this in shifts. She will never be alone, but we will still take care of ourselves."

"They do have a point." Robert knew why Holly wanted to stay but also knew she needed to rest and take care of herself. Hell, he wanted to stay and hold her hand. He had always regretted not being able to do that with Holly.

Holly reluctantly nodded , knowing she was outnumbered. She kissed Jayne's head and whispered. "You are in good hands my darling. I love you."
