Celia had gone back home, and Holly had offered to watch Seana. She wanted Ethan and Annie to have some alone time, and she knew Tiff had plans with Lucas. She also could not get enough time with Seana.
Robert came home, feeling like they got nothing done. They were still looking for the man who seemed to be after Seana.
Seana ran over to Robert. "Oh, this will never get old." Robert smiled, giving her a hug.
Holly walked over and gave him a kiss. "Hello darling."
Robert kissed Holly back. "Hi, luvs. Are we spending the evening with our girl?"
Holly smiled and nodded. "I thought Annie and Ethan could use some time together, and you know who could pass up time with Seana."
Seana grinned as she laid her head on Robert. She was so attached to both of them.
"Definitely not me." He kissed her head. "Have we decided on dinner?"
As Robert asked, the doorbell rang. "That would be it." Holly went over and answered it, bringing the pizzas in.
"Are you hungry, babe?" Robert asked Seana.
"Yes." Seana looked over at the pizza.
Robert and Holly got her set up, then sat down to eat with her.
"How was work?" Holly asked Robert.
"Honestly? Frustrating. How was your day?" He asked. He would go into more detail when they weren't with Seana.
"It was actually quite nice, I even got to know Sasha a little bit." Holly smiled.
"I still can't get over how much she looks like Celia or how I had never noticed it." Robert replied before taking a bite of his pizza.
"Sometimes it slips our mind. I always thought Ethan looked more like you than anyone but felt I was just wishing for something." The hint of sadness in Holly's voice was detected by Robert.
"Hey, you know I always felt like he was my son. Even if we didn't share a drop of DNA now he would be." Robert told her as he took her hand.
"I know." Holly smiled at him and kissed his hand.
Seana rubbed her tummy. "All full."
"I think that's a hint. Maybe we can get you into your jammies and grandpa and I can read you a story?" Holly asked Seana, wanting to hear what she thought.
Seana squealed and hugged Holly. "Yes!"
Holly got her ready for bed as Robert picked up the dining area. After he had finished up he went over and sat on the couch, picking up one of Seana's favorites books.
Holly and Seana came back out. Seana ran over to Robert and gave him a hug. Holly sat down next to him. "She is so excited for this, aren't you darling?"
Seana nodded as she scooted so she was more in between them.
By the time the story was over, Seana was fast asleep, holding onto Robert. "You know we are good at this." Holly grinned as she gave Seana a kiss on her forehead.
"Always knew we would be, and we were in Australia when Robin would come to visit. I loved getting to watch you be a stepmother to her. She adored you." Robert smiled as he took Holly's hand, holding a sleeping Seana against him.
"I adored her and still do. It was special seeing you get to be a daddy too. I remember by the end of those visits she was unsure about wanting to go back home. She really had the best of both worlds for a little while." Holly smiled at him.
"She did, four people who were crazy about her and still are." Robert kissed Holly's hand. The two of them put Seana to bed and then were greeted by Jayne.
"Mum, dad. Are you okay?" Jayne asked them.
Holly was confused by the question. "Yes, why wouldn't we be?"
