Chapter 38: Internships! Training!
After his discussion with Tomura, Stain departed. However, he planned on returning. He crouched down in a deep squat and pulled out his phone as he began looking up Izuku Midoriya. He was currently avoiding the heroes who were currently hunting him down.
"So All Might is nurturing a successor as well as a new generation." Stain said in a whisper. He glared at the footage of Izuku as Stinkfly flying through the air.
"I should make sure this successor is a true hero," He then looked at footage of Izuku walking out of the stadium, talking with his friends with smiles and laughing.
"...And if he is, he isn't corrupted by false heroes that surround him." Stain glared at the people around Izuku.
...
[Miruko agency]
Izuku and Itsuka, as they were instructed, washed their dishes, Izuku scrubbed while Kendo dried them and placed them on the rack. With both of them, they finished up rather quickly.
"Tomorrow, you'll wash their dishes while I dry them up," Izuku said to which Itsuka nodded. They turned to Miruko, who was chewing on a carrot for the next task. With a hop, she stood before motioning to the two to follow while leaving their agency and walking a couple distance, not too far away, about a 5-minute walk. To an old abandoned industrial area, possibly an old warehouse or factory yard.
"I own this building. This building will be able to go full out somewhat without putting civilians in danger." Miruko stated.
"Before anything else, we need to do a basic rundown of what you can and can't do. Our first fight gave me a feel of what you probably can handle, I don't want U.A. suing me for accidentally breaking your bones. "
Izuku and Itsuka nodded before they both quivered in fear. They followed her downstairs before they opened the door to a large room. There was some exercise equipment, further inspection there were also some cracks on the ground, which had been cement.
"I'll need to know your strengths and weaknesses before we can do any sort of work or patrol together. I'll do a task, then you emulate it, and we'll start with simple warm-ups and stretches." They did as she asked and followed her every move she did. As they watched and followed her example, Izuku's eyes subconsciously lingered over the various muscles of Itsuka and Miruko.
"Okay, I have a basic idea of your limit, but I'll need to go one-on-one with the both of you to get a real feel of your abilities. Kendo!" Itsuka jolted up.
"Y-Yes!"
"I'll be sparing with you first," Miruko said before she stretched a bit and took a fighting stance. Izuku moving to their side.
"This the first time I'll be watching Miruko live! I need to watch carefully." Izuku thought, pulling out his notebook as he watched intensely.
Itsuka gulped, taking a fighting stance. Miruko had a smirk before a serious expression with her smirk."You'll have five minutes to come at me with all you don't hold back, attack me seriously, ya got that?"
Itsuka nodded before the beep went off, Itsuka bolted towards her Mirko with a smirk mirrored the same.
"Mirko uses her kicks, kinda like Taekwondo. If I grab her, then maybe..." Itsuka thought as she closed the distance between her and Mirko however Mirko was much faster as she swerved from behind before jumping into the air and landing a kick on Kendo's head, she flew through before planting herself on the ground.
"H-How.. is she this fast?" Itsuka thought, she widened as Mirko was already upon her.
"Here she comes again." Itsuka thought as Mirko lifted her right leg prepared to deliver a roundhouse kick.
"Is she going to do a roundhouse kick?!" Itsuka thought before raising her arms feeling the familiar strength she felt in the Sports Festival, that with added durability, she believed she could take it.
"I'll block it and go for a counterattack!!"
However, Mirko smiled before switching to her other leg, Kendo was struck the pain going through her body as she was sent tumbling, the hit made her vision blurry, and she stopped herself skidding to the ground,
"She hits like a truck," Itsuka thought before Miruko came in with a back kick hitting her in her midsection, However, ever Izuku was surprised when Kendo wasn't sent flying across the room, instead she clutched her stomach in pain.
"Huh? You lasted pretty long." Miruko seeing the girl had enough stopped the timer, Itsuka took the pain in, before she was helped up by Miruko.
"T-Thanks." Itsuka thought, feeling somewhat humbled by this. "She took me down so easily, I didn't even get a hit in. If she attacked me a little harder, she would have broken my ribs and knocked me out."
Izuku looked absolutely in amazement. "She took down Itsuka so easily. Her movements were quick, precise, and powerful,"
Izuku gulped nervously and excitement. "So that's what pro can do?"
"Now, Midoriya, your turn!" Miruko commanded before grabbing an ice pack and tossing it to Itsuka, who caught it and put it on her head.
"Good luck. You're gonna need it." Itsuka said to Izuku, who gulped before going to the centre.
"First up, you're going to use a form, then I wanna see what you can do without it. From the battle with blonde kid, you can handle yourself pretty well."
"T-Thanks,"
"From the sports festival, I could see you know some martial arts, and from how Kendo fights, I'm assuming she's your teacher," Miruko stated, Kendo groaned in pain from the side.
"Y-Yeah, she is,"
Izuku pressed the button he looked through his playlist, and he stopped at the tetramand."Going Hero!" Izuku exclaimed as he slammed on the iconic green flash of the Omnitrix, Miruko had to look away from the green flash.
"Let me tell you something, Rumi Usagiyama!!" The roar of a tiger as from the green flash emerged a large humanoid tiger with orange tiger, black stripes. Wearing green striped pants resembling his tiger patterns.
Miruko smiled a little."Oh? Have the balls to refer to me by my first name? You're either really bold or really stupid. Either way, you're getting an ass-kicking today, kid."
"Let me tell you something, Miruko, the number 7 hero, one of the strongest females I know, you WILL NOT BEAT RATH!! RATH WILL BEAT YOU TO A BLOODY PULP!!!!"
Miruko only smiled dangerously, "Oh? I thought you were the type of guy who wouldn't like injuring a defenceless girl. " The older woman mocked him before Rath cracked his knuckles.
"I don't see a defenceless girl!" He said his face with determination.
"Oh, that's sweet, well all I see is a big kitty cat who needs to be put in his place!"
"Kitty... cat? Kitty cat? KITTY CAT!?" Rath claws jolted out One For All crackled around him before he bolted towards the girl, who only grinned.
"RATH IS NOT--!" Miruko with a back kick, landed a powerful kick towards the charging, Rath was met with powerful, a powerful shockwave erupted as his breath was knocked out of him before launched flying and sent into the cement wall rupturing the wall behind him.
"Listen, kid, here's your first lesson when you're fighting..." Miruko with a serious tone as Rath pulled himself from the wall.
"...You should never lose your cool," Miruko said as Rath charged again leaping into the air, Miruko looked up to see the tiger ready to strike her she leapt as he smashed into the ground sending a small shockwave throughout the place, Rath smelled around before he's face was met with a knee to the face.
Rath growled in anger before the woman backflipped into the air."Pay close attention now. This is how you do a LUNA..."
Rath widened before shielding himself as the girl brought down her foot."...ARC!!" A shock wave erupted Itsuka was pushed back a little, however, Rath's defence proved to be strong as he pushed her away, however, this setback didn't stop her assault as she hoped to his back and wrapped her legs around Rath's neck and began to choke him out.
"When faced with a stronger opponent, you need to be faster." Miruko began to choke out the alien who struggled through her powerful legs.
"LET RATH GO! YOUR LEGS WILL NOT BEAT ME!! RATH WILL NOT YIELD TO YOUR POWERFUL LEGS!! RATH...IS... Losing consciousness." Rath eyes rolled behind him as the Omnitrix began to beep.
BEEP BEEP BWOOO!*
In a green flash, Izuku was back, lying his head in between her legs, Itsuka rushed over to Izuku, looking at his unconscious state. "Sorry about him. Rath seems to bring his anger out of him." Itsuka said, to which Miruko waved her off.
"Don't worry about it," Miruko said before Itsuka sat next to her,
Miruko wiped some blood from her face, smiling, her legs had scratch marks. Smiled a little, "I haven't had this much fun in a month!"
...
Mirko gave a toothy grin. "If you manage to pin me without a form, I'll give you my autograph. If you really want something, you're gonna have to earn it."
Izuku was taken aback before nodding. He's fanboy fueling him.
...
[Esuha City: Fatgums Agency]
"Ah, you must be Momo Yaoyorozu!"
Momo stood with her back straightened and bowed respectfully to the pro hero who was in front of her.
"Hello, sir. Momo Yaoyorozu reporting for duty! Thank you for your humble invitation." Momo said before raising her head.
"Oh, no need to be so formal." A large round man, easily towering over other adults with an open wide mouth with a smaller nose gives him an odd body proportion.
"You made it just in time for lunch!! Come with me! I'll introduce you to everyone and my other intern, and we can discuss the plans for this week!"
Momo nodded and followed the larger man through the halls.
As she moved, she noticed the large doors everywhere, built on the same scale as the doors she saw around UA. She noticed that the scale of everything was sized slightly taller and broader than she expected. The hallway itself was wide enough for her to walk side by side with Fat Gum, with space to move.
As she followed Fat Gum through a doorway, she found herself in a comfortable-looking cafeteria. A few tables with wide, flat benches for seating sat around the room, and the back wall was lined with a professional kitchen, where an older man with dusky skin and short red hair was flipping a massive wok. The man was also wearing a double-breasted yellow chef's jacket and black slacks.
As they got closer, he glanced back, revealing grey eyes that looked over them, a toothpick flicking from his lips as he chewed on it.
"Evening boss. New recruit?"
"Uh-huh, new fresh meat!" Fatgum said before clapping Momo's back."Shi-chan, this is Momo Yaoyorozu! We'll be drawing a diet plan for her to stay in a few hours!" Fatgum said.
"Ah, that's not nece-" Momo began to wave her arms.
"Nonsense! Much like myself, your diet is important for your quirk! You should work on developing good habits now!" Fat Gum smiled, clapping his hand to his stomach with a smack.
Momo felt a little insecure, she looked at her body she didn't think she needed to be on a diet, from the whispers and gossip whenever she passed by, she believed she was attractive, especially with the lingering boys and glares from girls, "However people do say I'm thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, maybe I do need to cut down on my weight."
"Taishirou, you moron!" Fat Gum was forced to duck a pan when it embedded into the wall, cracking it apart over the larger man's head. Who gulped. "You're giving her anxiety, ya idiot! Has no one ever told you not to tell a teenage girl she needs to go on a diet?!" He sighed.
"Ah, of course! I didn't mean it like that, Yaoyorozu!" Fat Gum quickly apologizes for his poor words.
"We don't mean limiting your intake when we talk about diet. We mean what nutrients you need for the best utility." Fat Gum said before Momo realized and nodded.
"Take me as an example, I require high levels of protein, gluten, and polyunsaturated for my body. Heck, even Amajiki, er... Suneater, my other intern, requires high levels of omega-3, keratein Amino acids, and other complex sugars."
Momo blushed a little."I... I'm sorry for assume-"
"None of that. We are here to help you learn. Sometimes, that means we're gonna have to explain stuff." Fat Gum said, smiling at Momo.
"Thank you." She bowed before a determined look on her face.
"Now, let's eat, but first...! Tamaki, get in here!!" Fat Gum shouted, making Momo flinch in surprise.
There was silence before a boy a year or two older than Momo from the looks of it, had his hands in his pocket, he was a tall young man with pale white skin, his ears were similar to those of an elf, with messy indigo hair sticking out behind his head and thin tired eyes.
"H-Hello, I'm Amaijik Tamaki," Tamaki said in a near whisper as he stuttered out.
"Er... I'm sorry I didn't hear that." Momo said with a friendly smile before Amaijiki turned away from her.
"I'm Amajiki Tamaki." He said it was still low, but Momo heard it.
"Oh, uhm... I'm Momo Yaoyorozu." The girl said, giving a bow to him.
"Y-Yeah, can I go home now?" He asked Fatgum.
"Not happening." Fat Gum was immediately rejected.
"Aw,"
"You will have the pleasure of showing them around, show her to their changing rooms where she can put on her Hero costume, and while you're at it put on yours. Now be a good senpai and show your kouhai around."Fat Gum patted Amajiki's back, Momo couldn't help but giggle when he stuttered how meek he was and couldn't help but think of Midoriya.
"See, she's even laughing at me." A depressed aura was soon on the boy.
"Oh, no, it's just you remind me a lot of my friend Midoriya he stutters when he's nervous too, but when he comes out of his shell, he's amazing."
"What you're referring to that first year who nearly destroyed three stadiums?" Amajiki said before shaking.
"Uh, yes, but he's really kind and sweet, please don't judge him by the sports festival." Momo defended her friend.
"Come now, Amajiki, hurry up and show her around!" Fat Gum said, patting the boy's back who reluctantly nodded.
"F-F-Follow me," Amajiki said as they began walking, Momo following behind.
...
[Hosu City]
Ochako was in her hero costume. She had been walking down a busy street with a wide-set man of a muscular build with long mint-green hair that spikes backward, away from his head.
His hero costume consists of a white mask with four holes in a square formation, resembling a gun muzzle with slight barrel stems protruding from the side.
"Basic hero call, control crime. When a crime occurs, the police will contact us. These come in all at once but are filtered by city and prefecture. We file reports on the service we have provided, assisting in arrests, rescuing people, fighting villains, etcetera. Then a special agency looks at our performance and decides how much we get paid. I know it's a lot, but you'll catch on quickly."
"I didn't expect him to be so friendly," Ochako thought genuinely, surprised by his kind nature.
"We just need to be more careful since the murders of those heroes and Ingenuim crime have skyrocketed, though heroes have been more active having to take more action after the tragedy that befell this city a couple of weeks ago, copycats, opportunists and all manner of villains followed in the Hero killers wake," Gunhead said to Ochako nodded swerving her head side to side to watch out for any villains.
...
Izuku slowly came back to consciousness. He felt the sensations of something soft and hard at the same time. He also heard the voices of Itsuka and possibly Miruko chatting. However, Miruko's voice seemed to be above him,
"Huh? Oh, look, whose up?" He heard the voice of Miruko, his eyes shot open. The first thing he saw was red eyes, white fluffy rabbit ears, with a beautiful face looking down on him. He blushed, realizing where he was.
"You're finally up, that's good! You recover faster than most villains impressive!"
Izuku's head turned crimson he bolted up standing straight and began to bow profusely."I-I-I-I am s-s-sorry M-M-Miss M-M-Miruko!!"
Miruko turned to Itsuka for some clarification on his sudden weird behaviours."Sorry, he can't talk with the opposite gender after..." She gestured to him to sleep on her legs.
"Oh." She smiled.
"So you have the balls to call me by my first name, now you want to act like a scarred rabbit?" Miruko said, teasing him a little. Izuku remembered everything he said.
"S-Sorry, I-I didn't mean it, Miss Miruko."
"Hey, enough of that, Miss Miruko crap! Anyways, we need to get back to training." Izuku nodded, going for the Omnitrix when his wrist was stopped.
"Ah, sorry, but I'm gonna need to see what you can do without your forms." Izuku gulped before nodding. They both went to the centre. The woman had clear confidence waving her hair and smirking.
Izuku took a deep breath in, as he was covered in green lighting as he wrethed himself in full cowl."One For All 16%!!"
Izuku took a fighting stance, his emerald eyes meeting Miruko's crimson, Miruko had seen the boy fight in his aliens sent shivers down her spine, he had an aura that said, 'No matter how much you beat me down I'll get back up.' Now seeing him no forms, staring into his eyes brought a different feeling.
With that, they bolted towards each other, Kendo could barely catch them, specifically Miruko who had seemed to disappear before appearing next to Izuku, who widened as the girl who had prepared a roundhouse kick, put his arms up before being kicked and sent flying, slamming into the wall creating a dust cloud, however, Izuku quickly got backup charging towards Izuku before Miruko landed another kick making the boy fall to the floor he was about to get back up before he was pinned to the floor.
"Not bad. Kendo, your turn." Itsuka got up and began her spar with Miruko, the rabbit hero was still relentless but she didn't go too far, Izuku used forms like Four Arms, and Spider Monkey to try and get the upper hand when that didn't work, he used Diamondhead to try and trap but she proved to be to fast, Fasttrack was the closest but the alien wasn't durable when she got a hit in she made sure she put power behind it slamming him into a wall and knocking him out.
For the next two hours, Izuku and Kendo were hammered into the ground, and wall, repeatedly, she also proved that her stamina was far higher than both of them combined as by the end of two hours the girl only looked winded while the two were breathing heavily and panting on the verge of collapse.
An end was called as Izuku stared at the ground with strain as he found himself bent at the waist over one of Miruko's knees.
"That should be it for today," Miruko said as Kendo collapsed next to Izuku, who let out a small chuckle.
"Huh? What's so funny?" Miruko tilted her head to the side as he recovered his breath.
"Yeah, I have no idea how you can laugh at a time like this," Itsuka said, groaning from the floor. He soon realized he had been looking at her bare feet before a laugh ripped through him.
"I-I might be delirious from the pain, but I suddenly remembered a long-asked question on your hero page. People have debated over whether you have elongated feet or toes because of your quirk." Kendo lifted her head and looked before she laughed as well.
Miruko looked down at her bare feet and greeted her as she tilted her head. She laughed slightly.
"People seriously asked that? Haha, men people ask the weirdest questions this is why I stay away from the internet at least anything involving me, I don't need Weridos offering me the 'assistance'" She chuckled at the thought as Kendo and Izuku was confused.
"Assistance?"
"Anyways, it's not like I care or anything, but now you have your answer. My feet are normal. Aside from my ears and tail, my quirk doesn't physically alter anything else on my body." Miruko began to perform some cooling-down exercises. Itsuka drank some water in the process.
"You seem to have a good base, with your forms, I kinda suspected you would be kinda like master of none kind of thing, but you seem pretty proficient with your forms, but you probably should stop injuring your body, I could tell that your injuries hampered your movements."
Izuku nodded.
"Focus on building up your speed. You'll need to be quick if wanna transform. You need to make quick decisions. Use that analyzing skill to read your opponent and pick the best form. It seems you can't turn while you're a form. Work on transforming back to normal and turning into another alien as quickly as possible."
"Now, Kendo, you need to work on your defences and speed. You have strength. With one hit, you'll definitely take out your opponent. But it's pretty much useless if you can't land a hit,"
"Uhm, Miruko... I was wondering if could I have your autograph?" Izuku asked nervously. Surprisingly, he didn't stutter. He offered her his notebook, and she took it and was intrigued to see her page about her, a full body sketch in her costume, which she felt exaggerated her figures.
This was followed by several pages outlining information about her from, including her weaknesses, strengths, and even ideas and movements, she turned a page to his own page to see that he made some notes on how to incorporate them into his own.
"Does he really think I look like that? It's kinda flattering."She took the pen and was about to sign when she had an idea instead and smirked. She ended the notebook back to him.
"If you wanna have my signature, you're gonna have to earn it," She said with a smirk and Izuku's confusion.
"If you can pin me, no forms just as yourself, I'll give you my autograph, I'm the type who doesn't give anything out for free you're gonna have to earn it." She got into his face and grinned.
"Think you can handle it?"
Izuku thought about it before nodding."I'll earn it!"
She smiled before Itsuka with the same determined look." Alright, what's next?"Miss Miruko?""
She smiled at two teenagers and soon broke into her famous grin, however, Izuku made sure to take a mental photo of her smiling, he soon felt a finger pushed against the centre of his chest, surprising both teens Itsuka felt a little jealous.
"The first thing we address is my name. I'm used to dealing with boring stiff people all the time, drop the miss, make me feel old, and I'm still in my twenties. Call me Miruko or whatever, I don't really care." Izuku turned a shade of scarlet before nodding.
...
Tenya's body groaned in pain. He could feel their bruises all over his body
Gran Torino threw the student a can of orange juice, "I stocked up for you, kid. You'll have to be running low on fuel by now."
"Thank you, sir," Tenya said, wincing a bit in pain as he caught the can and opened it, taking a drink.
"You've got talent, kid. Not to mention raw power. But you're too stiff. Citrakayah are supposed to be flexible creatures."
Tenya choked on his orange juice."Wait, you know about the -"
"Of course I do! Though Citrakayah isn't bad but Kinceleran, in my opinion, is far better. But enough of that..."
"You're too used to racing on a straightaway, not nearly as good in close quarters, even with your current speed," Gran Torino said.
Tenya could not respond while he was drinking, so he swallowed, then was about to speak when he was cut off,
"So what made you think you could take down the Hero Killer when you couldn't even touch me?"
Luckily, he was no longer drinking, so he couldn't spit out his juice. Still, he nearly choked on the air. "Sir, I- I wasn't -"
"Save it... Midoriya suspected your intentions, I'm surprised the teachers didn't figure it out themselves, though judging by your personality, I guess they assumed it would be too out of character for you." Gran Torino frowned at him.
"Though the kid knows what you're going through,"
"You don't understand. I-"Tenya began before Gran Torino cut him off.
"You think you're the only one who's faced tragedy like that? Ha!"The short old man shook his head before taking a seat.
"A villain took my best friend. It was decades ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday."
Tenya balked at the man's serious tone. He struggled with his words before he said, "I am sorry to remind you of such a bad memory, Gran Torino-sensei."
"Eh, you get to my age. It doesn't take much to put you back in the past," Gran Torino replied. "Her name was Nana Shimura. Most people don't know her hero name, but she went by Nimbus..."
"Nimbus...?"
Gran Torino nodded."This was before All Might came to the scene, when the world was more chaotic, being a hero was less about popularity and more about helping the world around you, honestly being a hero was also considered suicide."
Tenya was shocked. He knew before All Might their world wasn't as peaceful but still."Being considered suicidal?"
"There was a villain who wanted her and her apprentice dead," Gran Torino said. "Her apprentice was no other than All Might himself."
"You gotta realize that at this time, All Might wasn't All Might. Not like the way you know him. All Might was a wet-behind-the-ears kid with a fresh U.A. degree. And this villain... he was the worst."
" I had to take All Might and run like hell. Nana kept him at bay, just to keep him from catching us."
Tenya had a realization."The time he spent in America..."
"Yeah, he was training to get strong enough to kick that guy's teeth in and to keep his followers from getting to him," Gran Torino said.
"And he did manage to put down his mentor's murderer."
Tenya felt the weight of this information settled in. He finally asked, "Did... did it help?"
Gran Torino shook his head, "Not even a little bit. The best thing I got out of that was the satisfaction that he wasn't going to hurt anyone else."
Tenya looked down."So you're saying I should just let him go? Forget what he did to my brother? I..I shouldn't seek justice for my brother?!"
Tenya exclaimed, crushing the can in his hand. Gran Torino looked at him before answering.
"I'm not going to shove down murdering is wrong or that kind of nonsense, but from my experience, there hasn't been any kind of satisfaction, at least for me. If it's truly justice, you seek to bring him in the right way."
They sat in silence for a bit before Gran Torino got up, "Well, that's enough of this old man's reminiscing. This is about teaching you! I already told you you're too stiff. You need to be flexible. And then there's your admiration of your brother."
Tenya sputtered, "What are you talking about?! Tensei is a wonderful person and the ideal hero! A guideline that everyone should strive for!"
"And that's what's holding you back," Gran Torino said, leaving the room.
...
"I do care call me Rumi" Miruko thought before deciding to ignore it and shook her side to side before leading to the two teenagers to the second floor, she led the two to a closet where she grabbed three towels.
After a quick pat down of the sweat she had accumulated, she directed the two to some weight machines. "I want to see your limits regarding pure weight. You'll be doing various machines."
After a brief explanation of how the machines worked, they passed another hour and 45 minutes, Miruko also had demonstrated how the machines during this time is Izuku was focused on the task at hand of course but couldn't help but notice Itsuka and Miruko's physique.
Kendo wasn't too muscular, but she had muscles. His face turned almost crimson when he realized he took a glance, a two from her chest to her legs. Izuku could tell she was wearing a sports bra that compacted pretty well.
Itsuka herself wasn't doing any better as she admittedly took a glance as Izuku pushed up machines, his muscles flexing through his shirt.
Izuku also roamed Miruko's legs, her toned muscles that rippled with strength, which followed by her curvy bust but not too obvious at least that's what he hoped, he may be one of the most powerful teenagers and by Mina a cinnamon roll, at the end of the day he was a teenager.
"I might have a thing for muscles." Izuku idly thought his eyes closed as he worked on some weights he's face had a red hue of embarrassment.
"Alright!"Miruko clapped her hands together before addressing the two.
"Hit the showers and will head in 30 minutes, finish up, and put on your Hero costume," Miruko stated affirmly.
As Kendo prepares to take a bath after a long day of training with Miruko and Izuku."A hot bath sounds amazing right now." Itsuka thought.
As she entered the bath zone, she noticed Miruko, who was wearing only a towel. She looked in envy, she glanced at the toned muscles, she lingered on her legs the most muscular toned of her body which also had some scars testament to her hardworking training, Itsuka could tell she treated her body like a temple.
"Wow, her muscles are basically perfect." Itsuka thought.
"Hey kid, you're staring." Her voice teasing but not unkind, Itsuka's cheeks turn a shade of red in embarrassment.
"A-Ah, sorry I-I was just looking at your muscles..." She stuttered out before realizing how that came out she was about to correct herself.
"Ah, my muscles, huh? I guess they are pretty impressive." She said while flexing for emphasis.
"I... I was wondering what kind of training did you do to achieve that physique."
"It wasn't easy, that's for sure, I trained every day I'm kinda prideful, so losing is kinda not my thing. Pushing my limits every day, that's how I got this physique."
Itsuka looked in admiration before Miruko stood up. "But if you want to learn some moves, let me show some basics I can show you."
Itsuka could only before nodding.
...
[Fat Gum Agency]
Amajiki with his hands in his pocket as he led Momo Yaoyorozu through the agency gesturing awkwardly through the rooms and bathroom. He led them to their room, where she would be staying. Momo bowed in appreciation and thanked the nervous third-year.
"Thank you for your assistance. Amajiki, I hope I can learn from you." Momo said her tone and eyes filled with gratitude, Amajiki gave a curt nod. He couldn't Momo's gaze, always looking away and staring at the ground.
Momo watched as he hurried away, muttering under his breath about, "I wanna go home." Momo had a mixture of confusion and concern on etched on her face. She blinked slowly, her expression turning gentle.
"Well, that was... interesting," Momo said her eyes had a little intrigued.
"From my experience, nervous stuttering boys often turn out to be surprisingly strong. I should keep a close eye on him." As she spoke, putting her suitcase on her bed, an image of a green-haired teenage boy with freckles, and the memory of their shared kiss made her face flush bright red.
She hastily shook her head as if to dispel the thought, her cheeks still flushed with a lingering blush.
"No, I need to focus," Momo said firmly to herself, her expression turning to determined. "I need to get stronger, for Izuku's sake and for my own. I can't let distractions hold me back."
Her heart beat faster, her face turned a deep red hue, a testament to her lingering emotions. "Though it's always beneficial to have additional motivation." A small smile accompanied with a delicate blush danced across her face. "I'll have to channel these... feelings into my training."
Momo moved to her bedside, taking off her blazer and opening her suitcase with the number 20 on it. She widened in surprise her previous her costume design had been completely changed.
Momo groaned in annoyance, and her fondness for her old costume was evident. She had thought it was perfectly practical for her quirk, and the familiarity was comforting. However, she couldn't deny Mineta's constant ogling had made her feel uncomfortable, and she was well aware that her sentiment was no secret. He would stare with a lecherous gaze while drooling. She could only imagine the depraved things he had been thinking about, had become a source of frustration, and had grown tired of his antics.
"I could still make my original, I should at least try it out." Momo thought that the fact that Izuku spoke highly of Melissa's design skills encouraged her to slip into her new Hero costume. As she dis her reluctance gave way to gratitude. as the suit was far more practical and far less revealing.
She was taken aback as she gazed at her reflection. As the sleek red and white body suit hugged her curves, she twirled around seeing an opening at the back of her costume added to the pungling neckline showing some of her cleavage, the costume was also sleeveless, with strategically placed openings with legs allowing her to utilize her quirk with ease.
(Without the red sleeve thing)
A golden utility belt with small patches, with a finishing touch, she realized her sports calf-length red boots with heels had been forgone and replaced with sturdy white boots with red accents
"I have to admit, Melissa has done an amazing job. No wonder Izuku admires her," She said, her voice a hint of reluctance.
"No wonder Izuku seems to admire her." She thought a pang of insecurity creeping in. A twinge of fear crept in that he might not reciprocate her feelings. She pushed the thought aside, focusing on her new costume. However, the seed of doubt was already planted before she realized a crucial aspect was missing from her costume.
"Where is it? Where is my Yaoyorictionary?!" Momo exclaimed, frantically searching for the bookshelf and book from her suitcase, Instead, she found a small disc, which she hesitantly pressed, revealing a holographic figure of Melissa
"Hello, Momo Yaoyorzu. I'm Melissa Shield. I owed Izuku a favour, so I agreed to review your costume. And, wow, it needed work!" Momo's eyes widened as she took in Melissa's holographic form, her curves, blonde hair, and pretty face. Momo felt an unfamiliar sensation, wondering,
"What is this... am I jealous?"
Melissa's hologram continued, "First, I ditched the heels. I mean, why do designers still insist on them? How did you even run and jump in those things?!" Momo looked puzzled, then noticed the note in Melissa's hand.
"Oh, and if you're wondering about the shelf?" Melissa's hologram said, "Look at the note. It explains my concerns."
Momo was about to look at the note when she exclaimed, "Why? I need that! Sometimes, I need to consult my encyclopedias for on-the-spot creations!" But then she looked at the note and had a grim realization... "Oh... Oh my."
"Dangers of Momo's Costume Design:
- Spinal injury risk: Vulnerable to paralysis or long-term damage
- Falling hazard: Prone to head trauma, broken bones, or internal injuries
- Villainous attack: Exposed to severe injuries in combat situations
- Costume design flaw: Prioritizes style over safety
- Lack of protection: Leaves vital areas exposed and vulnerable
Melissa's Warning: 'A broken spine waiting to happen.'"
Momo trembled, realizing the consequences of her costume design. Melissa's hologram reassured her, "Don't worry, there are plenty of better ways to implement your encyclopedias. Izuku made these for you."
[Flashback]
A couple of weeks, of weeks ago.
Melissa yawned as she had a star-striped shirt slipping off her shoulder as she stretched before she began talking with Izuku."Looks like you have been overworking yourself again. Don't burn yourself out, okay?"
Melissa's eyes, seeing their hypocrisy teasingly, shot back."Oh? Coming from you, that's the pot calling the kettle black!"
Izuku's face flushed red before he stuttered out."W-What are you talking about? I-I'm just concerned about your well-being!"
Melissa's chuckles and giggles filled her dorm room, "You're like an open book, I know you're worried, but I'm fine."
Izuku's embarrassment began to fade replaced with a warm smile, "I-I know I just wanna make sure you're taking care of yourself. You've been working yourself pretty hard."
Melissa's expression softened, her voice taking a gentle tone." I appreciate that, but you and Papa don't need to worry, but I promise I'll take it easy... if you do?"
Izuku nodded, his smile growing genuine."Deal, I'll try to take it easy."
"Oh, and by the way, I was wondering if you wanted to talk about your class's hero costume?"
Izuku sparkled in excitement as he leaned closer to the monitor."I've been thinking, maybe with Iida's costume to make it more efficient for his speed-based abilities!!"
Melissa chuckled on the other end from his sheer enthusiasm."Izuku slow down. You mentioned that Momo's costume seems the most inconvenient."
Izuku showed, and Melissa did a spit take on the costume. "WHAT IDIOT DESIGNED THIS?!"
Melissa exclaimed through the monitor."S-So many... why is it so sexualized? S-She's fifteen..." Melissa said, quivering a bit. She could already see the potential dangers with these costumes.
"I-Is it that bad?" Izuku asked innocently.
"Yes! It's way too unnecessarily sexy. It has so many design flaws! Hell, it's not even practical! Probably some perv getting off on this!" Melissa said with some venom. She pinched the bridge of her nose.
"We're going to have to revamp this. Make it at least more functional and safe."
Melissa and Izuku sat in front of their respective computers, their faces lit up by the screens as they communicated via video chat, the two were engaged in the process of revamping the hero costume, their minds racing with ideas.
Eventually, they reached an impasse on what to do about the encyclopaedia she still needed a way to access the information.
"Mhmm, we still need a way for her to access information quickly, especially in the heat of the moment. She can't exactly circle through a book or research on her phone." Melissa stated.
Izuku's eyes lit up as he activated the Omnitrix circled through his forms, skipping past Diamondhead and stopping at Brainstorm he raised his arm before slamming it back down as the room was bathed in a green light.
As they continued brainstorming, they eventually reached an impasse on how to provide Melissa with quick access to information. "Mhmm, we still need a way for her to access information quickly, especially in the heat of the moment," Melissa said, her brow furrowed in concern. "She can't exactly flip through a book or research on her phone. That's just not practical!"
Izuku's eyes lit up as he snapped his fingers. "I've got it!" he exclaimed, activating the Omnitrix on his wrist. He rapidly cycled through his forms, skipping past Diamondhead and stopping at Brainstorm. With a swift motion, he raised his arm and then slammed it back down, bathing the room in a bright green light.
"Brainstorm!!" The crab-like alien exclaimed.
"Ah, yes, the efficacy of this solution shall be most gratifying." Brainstorm declared his voice dripping with intellectual superiority.
Melissa nodded, unphased by the transformation. "Let's get to work, Brainstorm. What do you need?"
Brainstorm sniffed haughtily. "Well, it's about time you recognized my genius," Brainstorm said, his voice dripping with arrogance.
"I'll require a pair of glasses, nothing too fancy, just a vessel for the advanced neuro-circuitry and nano-processors that will enable me to interface with the vast database of information I've accumulated. And, of course, your assistance, Melissa. Your...adequate cognitive faculties will be sufficient for the task at hand. We're creating this tech for Momo Yaoyorozu, after all."
Melissa raised an eyebrow, a mix of amusement and annoyance on her face. "Oh, joy. Another chance to bask in your intellectual glory ."
Melissa has to resist in not rolling her eyes.
Brainstorm's expression remained condescending. "Yes, well, someone has to guide you through the complexities of my plan. Your intellect is akin to a finely crafted timepiece, functional, yet lacking the intricate beauty of a true masterpiece. But I must say, Melissa, your ability to keep up with me is... impressive. You're almost as brilliant as I am."
Melissa's face flushed with a gentle blush, her eyes looking away in embarrassment. "I-I think we've established that already, Brainstorm..." She trailed off, still looking flustered. "Let's just focus on helping Momo, okay?"
As she gathered the equipment, Brainstorm continued to make snide remarks about Melissa's intelligence, comparing her unfavourably to himself, "Really, you don't understand the intricacies of quantum physics? How quaint. Allow me to explain it in simple terms, dear Melissa."
If it weren't for the monitor and ocean separating them, she would have thrown a wrench at Brainstorm as her eye twitched in annoyance.
Despite Brainstorm's patronizing attitude, Melissa discovered she had been gaining new insights and perceptive through their collaboration. However, this was supposed to be a favour for Izuku, but Melissa felt like she had gained more from the collaboration. As they worked together to build their device, their collaboration was incredibly enriching as she gained much more than she had anticipated.
Hours passed through the night, soon Melissa wore protective goggles and wielded a blow torch in her right hand, carefully shaping and moulding the metal frame of the glasses, while on her left simultaneously typed away at the compute keyboard her fingers flying across keys.
"Okay, got it. Welding the circuitry to the frame... and installing the neural interface software." She said, her voice muffled by the goggles.
Brainstorm replied through the computer speakers, "Good, good. Make sure their connections are secure... and don't forget to update the database."
"Already on, uploading the molecular structure data of various objects and materials from around the world to your basic "
Brainstorm nodded in approval.
As the sun rose, Melissa and Izuku finally finished their marathon work session. Exhausted, they both slumped forward, their heads resting on their respective monitors. The cameras on their computers were still on, capturing their peaceful expressions as they fell asleep.
The glasses they had constructed lay in a protective case on Melissa's desk, their lenses glimmering in the soft light of the room.
Flashback over
Momo opened the case and gazed at the glasses in wonder. As she read the instructions, "I call these The Yayospecs! You know kinda like Yaoyororictionary but specs."~Izuku. She couldn't help but giggle at the clever name, feeling a small blush rise to her cheeks.
However, the next note made her give a deadpanned expression."Obviously, think of an item. It's not like I made them for no reason."~Brainstorm. She chuckled and thought of a simple speaker.
As soon as she did, her vision was flooded with the schematics and molecular structure of a speaker. She muttered a few in awe."Carbon fibre woofer, titanium alloy tweeter, polymer matrix..." Before explaining in disbelief."T-This is incredible!"
Her heart racing with excitement, she stared in disbelief."This is unbelievable!" She whispered to herself."I can see the molecular structure of any object that has been recorded! Just by thinking about it!"
Her heart flooded with joy she looked at another note."You can thank Izuku he was the brain"~Melissa.
Her face turned scarlet as she thought of ways to thank him."Oh my gosh! I have to thank him, but how? Ah, maybe I could... no, that's too simple. Hmm, perhaps, no, that's not enough. Wait, I know I'll..." Momo's thought trailed off as she stepped out with her new hero costume for her internship, as she blushed profusely, her mind racing with ideas to express her gratitude.
...
Izuku opened his suitcase, gazing at his costume, and found a note. "Midoriya, I watched the Sports Festival and saw you were using kicks, so I added these iron soles to your costume!! Enjoy!! I mean, being your personal -" Izuku crumbled the paper with an irritated twitching eye.
"Still not my inventor..." He looked at the costume, feeling a pang of guilt, like he was cheating on Melissa, but reluctantly put it on.
As he stepped out, Itsuka and Miruko were already in their hero costumes, ready for action. Itsuka noticed the iron soles and began to praise Izuku's costume. "Whoa! New costume? The iron soles add a great touch!" Izuku chuckled, adjusting his hoodie.
"Y-Yeah, I guess."
Miruko raised an eyebrow, her eyes sparkling with a hint of teasing. "Huh? Why the bunny ears? Are you trying to look like me?" She intended it to be a sly remark, but it turned into a genuine question.
Izuku explained, "They're actually inspired by All Might's bangs, a homage to him." Miruko felt a twinge of jealousy but quickly hid it behind a teasing grin.
"Oh, sure, fanboy!" Izuku blushed, and Miruko continued,
"Okay, let's head out! We've got some villain-busting to do!" As they set off, Miruko couldn't help but steal glances at Izuku.
...
Izuku and Itsuka were surprised but not disappointed with the work they completed with Miruko while on patrol. She took the lead, and they followed her through different tasks.
First, they cleaned up a park, where Izuku used his Fasttrack ability to quickly pick up litter. Itsuka then helped catch a quick cat that had gotten stuck in a tree.
Next, they assisted an old woman carrying groceries, who was preparing for a party. Izuku transformed into Four Arms and carried a fair amount of the groceries, while Miruko and Itsuka carried the rest.
"Thank you, dear heroes!" the old woman exclaimed, her eyes shining with gratitude. "You've saved me so much time and effort. I can now focus on preparing for my granddaughter's birthday party. You three are the best!"
Miruko smiled, her eyes gleaming with pride. "It's all part of being a hero, ma'am. We're happy to help."
The day-to-day activities were normally quiet, but Miruko also explained and drilled them on other policies they needed to be aware of.
"In the case of a villain attack or major crime, your first goal is always the safety of those around you," she said, her eyes serious.
"Of course, I usually leave it to the backup heroes while I kick the villains' ass!" she added with a grin.
Izuku and Itsuka's eyes widened in surprise, their faces pale. "Uh, got it," Izuku stammered.
Miruko chuckled. "Though from time to time, I guess I have to play the rescue hero."
"As heroes, we don't have the power of the law to arrest anyone," she continued, "but we do have the authority to detain villains and stop them from wreaking more havoc. You should also have the mindset that until the police arrive, you act on their behalf. Got that?"
Izuku and Itsuka nodded, their eyes fixed on Miruko. "Yes, ma'am!" they chimed in unison.
As the day went by Izuku couldn't help but notice Miruko in a new light in all honesty he thought she was intimidating, Izuku still thought she was intimidating but he had more respect for her both as a warrior and person, but he also saw that she was a kind and caring individual.
"Miss... uh, I mean Miruko, what made you want to be a Hero?" Izuku asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.
Itsuka, who was walking alongside them, raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the sudden question. Miruko paused, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
"It wasn't for any grand reason if that's what you're thinking," she said, her voice laced with a hint of mischief. "I just love fighting, and being a Hero lets me do it legally. I get to challenge strong villains and prove my strength, plus it's a great workout!"
Izuku's eyes widened in surprise, while Itsuka's surprise quickly gave way to a sly smirk. "Really... that's not too surprising," Izuku said, trying to process Miruko's blunt honesty.
Miruko snorted, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Hey, don't get me wrong, I do care about helping people and all that. But if I'm being honest, the thrill of the fight, the rush of adrenaline... that's what gets me going."
Itsuka nodded in agreement, her smirk growing wider. "I can relate, Miruko-san. I love fighting, too. There's nothing quite like the rush of adrenaline and the thrill of taking down a tough opponent."
Miruko grinned, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "Exactly! It's exhilarating, isn't it?"
Izuku watched the exchange, his mind racing with thoughts. "She may not have noble reasons, but at least she's honest. Being so straightforward takes a lot of courage. Not all goals have to be inherently pure when aiming to be a Hero, but I believe there's at least some inherent good. " he thought.
As they walked on patrol, Izuku, Itsuka, and Kendo were enjoying the quiet evening streets. Suddenly, a few streets over, they heard a faint cry for help. "Hey, stop! Thief!"
Miruko's eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed on the scene unfolding before them. A young man had snatched an elderly woman's purse and was now making a run for it.
"Ah, perfect timing!" Miruko exclaimed, a sly grin spreading across her face. "Alien Force, go catch him!"
"W-What--?!"
"Stop wasting time and go!!" Miruko demanded.
Izuku sprang into action, his eyes fixed on the fleeing villain. But to his surprise, the thief suddenly leapt into the air, his body bounding from building to building with incredible agility.
"Whoa, he's got a jumping quirk!" Izuku exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.
Itsuka and Kendo watched in awe as Izuku took off after the thief, his own Quirk allowing him to keep pace with the villain's incredible leaps.
Miruko chuckled, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "This is going to be fun! Let's see how Alien Force handles this one!"
As they chased after the thief, the streets became a blur of rooftops and alleyways, the sound of pounding footsteps and laughter filling the air.
Izuku was determined to catch the thief, but he was also thrilled to be testing his skills against such a unique Quirk.
The villain still leaps through the air, catches sight of Izuku and sneers."Oh, great, a child playing hero. How cute."
Izuku's eyes narrow, his face determined expression, activates the Omnitrix and begins circling through his forms before stopping at Amphibian. With a fierce cry."It's Hero Time!!" As he slammed down on the dial, a green flash bathed the area.
The villain caught off guard by the sudden green flash shields his eyes from the intense light but before he can gather what's happening Amphibian unleashes a blast of electricity, the volts coursing through the villain's body and sending him tumbling through the air and crashing down.
Amphibian flies over, but Kendo, who had been watching from the sidelines, leaps into action, catching the villain with ease."Nice work!" She said with a grin.
"Itsuka I had him!"
Itsuka scoffs."Maybe next time, don't move so slow! And that was a shockingly good move!"
Amphibian had to groan from the pun smiling a little.
Miruko nods in agreement before shouting back."Alien Force, in the meantime, returns the purse back to the nice old lady! BattleFist, you keep an eye on the villain!" Miruko instructed.
Amphibian nodded, flying over to the purse and grabbing and handing it back to the old woman who was grateful patting the aliens' head. Amphibian returned after a few moments and glanced at Miruko.
"What do we do now, Miruko?" Amphibian asked as he touched the dial on his chest, turning back to himself.
"I've already called and alerted the police, now we watch over and make sure the subject is detained. After that, they will be arrested, and we will talk out to the police briefly and fill out an incident report. A copy of the report will be given to us, which we can use to submit along with the other reports."
The two nodded, Itsuka plopped down a little tired.
"From that there, they will be process and analyze our efforts or contribution to society in the submitted cases and pay us accordingly. Honestly, it's your first day kinda surprised you'd get into this kind of trouble already. Through this valuable experience. Both of you acted quickly and kept public damage to none, you're both naturals at being heroes." Izuku and Itsuka rubbed the back of their heads embarrassed but proud for the praise.
The rest of the patrol passed by with relative ease, Izuku and Itsuka asked questions that came to mind. As from the long day, Miruko allowed the teenage to rest up and go to bed.
Izuku lay on his bed, exhausted from a long day, and soon fell asleep. However, his rest was short-lived, as the Omnitrix on his wrist began to glow yellow, waking him up. Confused, Izuku looked at the device, "Huh? Yellow? What's up with you now?"
After it spun a bit, it promptly returned to its original green colour. Suddenly, a silhouette appeared on the Omnitrix, resembling an Earth-dry cell battery but rounded out and green.
"New Alien?" Izuku wondered aloud before hearing a strange laughter. He looked up to see a bizarre creature, unlike any he had ever seen. The being was small, about a foot tall, with a black and cylindrical body, yellow accents, and a large lightning bolt shape on its chest. It had plus and minus symbols on its back, similar to a battery, and pointy legs with three fingers on each hand.
Izuku's confusion turned to curiosity as he approached the creature. "You're an alien, right?" he asked, still trying to process what he was seeing. He could make their connection. Since it was on the Omnitrix, it must be an alien.
The alien laughed and zapped Izuku with a small electrical shock, then fled."GAH!!" Izuku stumbled out of bed, twitching a little. The alien zipped out laughing before zapping him and taunting him.
"Hey, wait!"
Izuku's curiosity got the better of him, and he put on his red shoes, chasing after the alien in his pyjamas. Green electricity crackled around as he leapt, the sudden noise woke up Miruko, who jolted up her ears, twitching.
She looked out and saw Izuku he's green electricity illuminating in the night, chasing some yellow electrical trail.
"Hey, where do you think you're going!" Miruko called out, but Izuku didn't hear her. She woke up Kendo, and they quickly got dressed and began following Izuku. However, they lost sight of him as he disappeared into the night, chasing after the mysterious alien.
"Dammit, Midoriya! Wait up!" Miruko shouted, but he was already gone. She and Kendo continued to follow but eventually lost track of him. "This is not good," Miruko said a little irritated.
Itsuka woke up with a startling rubbing of her eyes."What's happening?" She asked, still groggy.
"Put on your hero costume!" Miruko urged quickly, sliding out of her hero costume."We have to bring back an idiot! Midoriya has gone AWOL."
Itsuka jolted awake, her eyes wide with alarm, as she quickly changed into her hero costume and followed Miruko through the window.
Meanwhile, Izuku was hot on the trail of the alien creature, his eyes fixed on its glowing form as it zipped through the powerlines.
Meanwhile, Izuku was hot on the trail of the alien creature, his eyes fixed on its glowing form as it zipped through the powerlines. Just when he was gaining ground, he heard a familiar voice shouting, "Hey, watch out!!" He turned just in time to see Setsuna Tokage collide with him, her body floating apart before reforming into herself.
"Ow!" Izuku exclaimed.
"Sorry about that," Setsuna said, brushing herself off. "I was chasing some electrical menace that's been wreaking havoc on nearby stores."
"Not electrical menace, more like alien," Izuku corrected.
Setsuna's eyes widened in surprise, but before she could ask any questions, they heard a loud shout. "Hey, get back here, you little creeps!!"
They turned to see Mina sliding on her acid, her costume somewhat scorched, but her expression softened when she saw Izuku. "Midori?" she asked before noticing the others.
Just then, Ibara appeared, chasing after one of the aliens who was carrying a pair of white panties and laughing. "You shall be punished for your insolence! Repent now!" she shouted.
The alien tossed the panties back at Ibara, who caught them with a look of annoyance. "I-Ibara?" they stuttered before noticing the others and feeling embarrassed.
She quickly hid the panties behind her back, her face turning bright red. "I wish for all of you to turn around. I was on patrol and...I am not currently wearing anything underneath."
Setsuna promptly turned Mina and Izuku around, while Ibara quickly put the panties back on. "So, I take it you were all chasing these fiends?" she asked, her face still red.
The others nodded before they were all zapped by the aliens. Izuku twitched, but they quickly began chasing them again. They were led to a tunnel, the dark passageway illuminated by the electrical menace. As they chased for a couple of minutes, they saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
As they emerged from the tunnel, the group was met with a breathtaking sight. An entire city stretched out before them, hidden beneath their own city.
"Woah!" they all exclaimed in unison, their eyes wide with shock and amazement.
