Freshman Year - Hallway Collision

Canterlot High School's bustling hallway during the first week of freshman year. Students are rushing between classes, chatting excitedly about their new experiences.

wiz Kid walks down the hallway, absorbed in a book about advanced computer programming. His light-brown long-sleeved shirt with colorful dots contrasts with the sea of school uniforms and casual wear around him. His bowl-shaped brown hair, streaked with dark-brown, slightly sways with each step as he walks.

Curly Winds, on the other hand, strides confidently through the hall. His white track jacket with red trimmings and blue jeans mark him as a standout athlete, his tall frame easily noticeable. He's talking animatedly with a group of friends about a recent sports event.

wiz Kid looks up momentarily from his book and sees the hallway filling with students. Distracted, he accidentally bumps into Curly Winds, who stumbles slightly but quickly regains his balance.

Curly Winds laughs "Whoa, careful there! You almost sent me flying."

wiz Kid startled, looking up with wide eyes "Oh, I'm really sorry! I didn't see you there."

Curly Winds noticing wiz Kid's focused expression and colorful shirt.

"No problem. You seemed pretty into whatever you were reading. What's up?"

wiz Kid nervously adjusting his bow tie "Oh, um, just trying to figure out some new programming techniques. I tend to get a bit absorbed when I'm reading."

Curly Winds grins "I get it. I'm Curly, by the way. And you are?"

"wiz Kid. Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Wiz Kid. You know, if you ever need a break from all that tech stuff, I'd be happy to show you around. I know the best places to hang out."

Wiz Kid smiles shyly "That sounds nice. I could use a break from my books. Thanks!"

"No problem. Let's catch up later. I've got to get to practice, but I'll see you around!"

"Sure thing. See you later!"

Curly Winds waves as he heads down the hall, while Wiz Kid watches him go, feeling a bit more at ease.

As he returns to his book, he can't help but think that perhaps high school won't be so overwhelming after all.
