"Ahhh! Yesterday was so fun!" Haya-chan said.
Today in the morning was quite eventful, Furue normally catches the morning train, but today she wakes up a bit late as she pulls out training all night, and with renewed vigor comes a need for it to be released.
But the result won't come from just one night, Furue didn't manage to release her light ball outward, nor did she control how she wanted the tremor to work precisely.
But it's ok, Furue is not in a hurry, she knows that to get the best result, Furue needs to not only work hard but also be consistent.
The result did not come in one day but it was a steady effort that continuously gathered and piled up over time until it showed itself.
"Oh, isn't that Amajiki-kun?" Haya-san said, which turned Furue's attention toward the boy in front of her who was talking to someone.
The one with Amajiki-Kun has a loud voice, with natural cheerfulness in it that reminds Furue of Himari, Furue couldn't see his face, but he has blond hair and the way he walks is full of confidence.
Then…suddenly, something about him feels familiar…
"So then, I said to him 'Why did the ghost go to the hero costume shop? To get a new 'translucent' look for his next mission!' Then he started staring at me as if I was an Idiot! Isn't that funny?!" The weird joke he cracked and how he used himself as a joke may make Amajiki-kun laugh but they did not make Furue or Haya-chan laugh for certain.
Blond, well-built, cracking weird jokes, and a student of UA…it's him!
Furue remember now! It was the guy who flung her up during the test! God, that was one hell of an experience, not only was she scared to death but it was also quite the thrill going up that height.
Without thinking, Furue walks ahead of Haya-chan and catches up to the two.
"Good morning, Amajiki-kun, and good morning to your friend too." Furue greets the two of them in her naturally slow voice which She is trying to fix but with how much of a night owl she is…she doesn't think it would go away.
"Ah-a. G-good morning, H-hirano-san." Amajiki-kun said as he shied away from her, turning his face away while hiding it using one of his arms.
A gesture that Furue had grown used to by now after spending almost a month with all her classmates.
However, one thing she couldn't get used to is Hado-san's relentless questions. Maybe it's just that their personality is quite opposite of each other.
But she is slowly getting used to it, after all, back at her home, there is Keigo-kun who often bombards Furue with various questions, something that she is so happy to answer whether it was a small or big one.
Furue then turned her attention to the boy next to Amajiki-kun and now that she got a good look, it was really the same guy.
Blue eyes that go really well with his confident smile, truly showing his confidence.
Ua Student but…2 buttons on the upper and lower part of his sleeve, so a general course student, is it? Weird, I thought for sure he would be in a hero course.
"Hey! I'm Togata Mirio, First year just like you!" Said the person in front of Furue.
Togata-kun is it? so he not playing any joke-
"Ah! You the girl from the Exam! If you ever feel the need to fly again, just remember—I'll be toga-tally there to lift you up!" And there it is…
"A…ahaha…Thank you." the jokes themselves weren't really that funny but…how he delivered them at least got a point from her. As someone who likes comedy but got no sense of them, Furue will give Togata-kun another point for trying, even if he quite sucks right now.
"Why did you leave me, Hirano-chan! Ah, I'm Haya Yuyu, by the way, nice to meet you, Togata-kun, right?" Haya-chan comes up from behind, and Furue quickly apologizes to the girl for leaving her so suddenly.
"Mmh, I'm Togata Mirio! Just call me if you need a lift! I will take ya real high!" The same joke as before, just different wording. Well, 1 point off then, overuse jokes are ok but at least it gotta be funny.
"Ehhh, you sure got a lot of weird jokes, huh?" Haya-chan said, which made Furue chuckle a bit while Togata-kun got full-blown laughter for some reason.
"Well, I gotto keep up the smile somehow!" Said Togata-kun as he smiled brightly.
Cheerful personality, hm? I notice it during our first encounter but it seems that is just his general mood.
Thought Furue as she and Haya-Chan walked together with Amajiki-kun and Togata-kun, as the latter told his jokes as some were good ones, and some were quite…lame, but then…
"What did the fired rice say to the shrimp? Don't Wok away from me!"
"Pft…!" Everyone suddenly stares down at Furue who just burst out a bit.
"Oh…Hm…What did you call the syrup with a speech impediment? it, Mrs. Stuttersworth."
"Pft! Ahaha! Stop! Stop with those dad jokes!" Furue who now can't stop her laughter, did like Dad's jokes as Nishi-san often told them, they are lame of course but the way they delivered was funny.
"God…First time I saw her actually laugh like this." Haya-chan said, Furue quickly tried to calm herself as she gulped down the saliva.
"What did the pot eat on its birthday?" Togata-kun said to Amajiki-kun who looked puzzled at the joke, but before Furue could stop him from responding, he already did.
"uh…Brownies?"
"Pancakes."
"Ahahaha!" Furue laughed as she now held her stomach from how hurt it was, the joke wasn't funny at all, but the way Togata-kun just said Pancake with a straight face as if it was natural was funny, very funny.
"My god! we actually find her weakness! Quick, Togata-kun, go for the throat!" Haya-chan quickly drove Togata-kun to make more jokes.
"No, Stop! for real! I can't take it anymore!" Furue said, she finally manage to control herself and stop laughing.
Thankfully, Togata-kun did as she asked and stopped with the joke.
"Aww, that's no fun. I finally found the normally cool Hirano-chan's weakness after all." Haya-chan pout.
"Come on, Haya-chan…don't be like that." Furue took the pouting girl into a hug, a gesture which flustered the red-haired girl.
"W-wha! S-stop that, Hirano-chan! Y-your chest is hitting me!" Haya-chan quickly pushes Furue away and her face is quite…flush.
Furue turned to look around only to see Amajiki-kun hide his face with embarrassment and Togata-kun turned his face away with a tinge of pink on his cheek.
Why is everyone's face red?
Furue didn't understand, Yumichi liked it when she did this. She would often just lay down on Furue's lap or just squish her face on her chest.
The kid back home likes to do it too, though the boy does seem a bit hesitant. She better ask Ame-neechan when she goes back home today.
"Sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?" Furue asks, she wants to know if she makes Haya-chan uncomfortable.
"O-oh! It's nothing! Just…too big…" Haya-chan said but her voice died down on the last part as she continued to stare at Furue with quite empty eyes, making Furue's already confused mind get even more confused.
"Okay? Shall we continue walking?" The 3 of them nod, and they continue their walk to school as Togata-kun continues to crack out jokes with a bad sense of timing, so Furue doesn't laugh out loud as much, though she does giggle at some of the jokes.
Furue and Haya-chan went to class first, as Amajiki-kun will walk with Togata-kun to his class. Now Furue feels quite bad since she took away his time with Togata-kun, she should say sorry to him.
"Ah, right, Hirano-chan, thank you for giving your friend my number, we talked a lot last night." Said Haya-chan as she took her seat.
"Mmh, it's good that you two have fun together." Furue sat down on her seat and quickly took her phone out to check today's schedule and she very much regretted it… "First class is math with Ectoplasm-sensei…I can't sleep with his clone constantly hitting me with chalk…"
Furue did try but…no, she can't, getting hit constantly by chalk which contains just enough power to wake her up is quite… unpleasant.
The next class is even worse, Vlad-sensei with Japanese…then English with Mic-sensei. ugh…She won't be able to sleep in the morning class… the silver lining is that Midnight-sensei and Cementoss-sensei are quite lenient and allow her to sleep so long as her grade is good, which it is.
It's ok, Furue…This is the consequence of your training…
The door suddenly opened, and reveal Aizawa-sensei in his usual cocoon sleeping bag, sucking on the jelly which Furue found out was mango jelly, which contains a lot of vitamin A, good for his eye so it is good for his quirk.
"Homeroom starting." Said the man, and in the instant, everyone was all at their seat. neat and quiet. "one month has already passed since all of you joined, UA. I think that you are all familiar with each other by now, so I will let you guys pick the Class president today, One president, and one Vice president. That's all."
Then, the man slumps down in his sleeping bag before start sleeping…leaving all the students in the room to themselves.
"I'm out…" homeroom is 30 minutes, so if Furue sleeps now, she will at least have enough energy to sit through 3 classes.
TREMIS
"mmh…sleepy…" Furue mumbled as she used the chopstick to pick up Tamagoyaki which almost fell out of her chopstick, it was quite heavy when she was this sleepy, and it not helping that today's rice was plum rice which should boosted her energy with its sour and refreshing taste…
"Come on, Hirano-chan finish your bento." or so Haya-chan said but Furue don't really feel like eating right now…
"So, It turns out to be Kyouno-chan and Ningyo-chan, huh? Well, both are quite the studious ones and pretty serious after all." Kouki-kun said the class president is Kyouno-san and the vice president is Ningyo-san…Furue didn't know that, considering she slept through the Pesudo election.
"Yeah, it's not really that surprising, ya'know? I mean Ningyo-chan was already a former vice president back during middle school and Kyouno-san was the perfect student in terms of academic ability, she is also quite organizing too." Kiko-kun said with his mouthful before he gulped them all down.
"Yeah, also, did you know…" The voice is now becoming quite distant…and before Furue knew it, her face was planted down on the table and she fell asleep.
TREMIS
"...haa…" The girl is now snoring…
"So…what do we do with her? Wow, she actually finished the bento!" Yuyu said as she looked over at Hirano-chan who was now sleeping at the cafeteria table.
"Well, she does look like a dead fish this morning, I wonder what she did the night before?" Said Kouki-kun.
"Eh, who knows? She never said what kind of training she does." Yuyu never really knew what the girl did at night, only that she was training to control her quirk.
Yuyu poked at Hirano-chan's cheek, only for her to not respond and continue sleeping, now she was shaking her shoulder while calling Hirano-chan's name, but she still didn't wake up.
Sighing, Yuyu gave up and watched the sleeping girl, seeing her so vulnerable like this, coupled with that time back at USJ really shook what she knew of the girl named Hirano Furue, though it didn't really that much.
Hirano-chan never talked about herself before, not about her family or even what she likes in the first place, the only thing Yuyu really knows about the girl is that she likes to sleep and is sweet, mostly because it gives her more energy to work on.
"Ah, Kyoudai-kun!" Yuyu calls out to Kyoudai-kun who just turns in his plate, and the big boy looks over at her with a puzzled face. "Can you help take Hirano-chan back to seat? The girl won't wake up."
Kyoudai-kun nods his head, and he picks her up on a piggyback ride, Yuyu follows after him after making Kouki-kun take her plate together with his.
The walk back was quiet with a lot of other people staring at them, nah, more like staring at Hirano-chan who was being piggybacked by a giant like Kyoudai-kun.
Well, there is still a long time for them after all, 3 years for them to get to know each other, so there is no need to hurry.
I really want to know more about you, Hirano-chan.

Warframe! New prime! New grind! Now I have to wait two weeks for the reset of nightwave since I don't have anymore ninten extract and I don't want to suffer a worse grind than doing the same mission for hours straight only to get 1 of the thing you want...God...Well, anyway, I'm sorry for the late chapter! I was busy, not with Warframe even though it took away most of my free time but with life in general. Anyway, warframe is good, warframe is life, even though I quit it for hundred of times, I always come back, he is like an abusive ex, no he not wrong, I'm the one in the wrong so I need to go back to him...shit.
